Gaza War Ignites a Civil War Within the LGBT Community

Pride month is almost over, but it seemed like barely anything happened. There were parades, but it wasn’t as ‘in your face’ as in other years. Maybe it’s because different things are going on, maybe it’s because it’s an election year, or perhaps it’s because the war in Gaza has fractured the LGBT community in ways that are baffling.

I will never step in to stop liberals from cannibalizing each other, and this is no exception. It’s a bit entertaining: some are openly pro-Hamas, while others rightfully point out how nonsensical that position is in this situation. The New York Times wrote about this civil war within the gay community and how it’s set Fire Island ablaze (via NYT):

The dispute on Fire Island, just off Long Island, was just one expression of the tensions over the Gaza war that have wracked American public life. But within New York’s L.G.B.T.Q. community, whose members hail from every ethnic and social background and tend to be highly attuned to issues of social justice, the war has touched off some especially raw conflicts.

[…]

The fight over how the community should respond to the war in Gaza has played out in fiery online comments and false accusations of pro-Hamas activity. On Fire Island, the flag conflict has pitted Mr. Torres and local homeowners, including Mr. Lucas, against the very activists honored at the park. Elsewhere in New York, similar, if lower profile, disputes have shaken gay bars, L.G.B.T.Q. fund-raising dinners and Pride festivities.

“I think queer people are mostly on one side of the debate,” said Afeef Nessouli, a journalist and activist who has been highlighting the stories of L.G.B.T.Q. people in Gaza on his popular social media channels since the war began. “It feels like queer people are coming out for Palestine in a really large way.”

Indeed, members of the L.G.B.T.Q. community overwhelmingly self-identify as politically liberal or moderate, according to polls. A majority of Democrats have disapproved of Israel’s actions since at least last November, one month after the war began, according to Gallup surveys.

[…]

…supporters of Israel, including some vocal L.G.B.T.Q. people, often argue that the community should support the country because, while it lags behind Western countries on some gay rights issues, it is more tolerant than other places in the Middle East.

In Gaza, like in many places in the Arab world, homosexuality remains taboo and gay life happens largely behind closed doors. Government persecution is not uncommon, and in one high-profile case Hamas killed a prominent commander after accusing him of embezzlement and homosexuality.

Bar Offers Free Booze For ‘Heterosexual Awesomeness Month’

An Idaho bar has ignited a heated debate after announcing the celebration of “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month” in place of LGBTQ Pride Month. Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho, made the announcement on Facebook, inviting patrons to join a month-long festivity with special promotions for heterosexual individuals.

“Come join us all month to celebrate heterosexuals, for without them, none of us would be here!” the bar posted. As part of the celebration, the bar introduced themed days with various incentives. On “Hetero Male Mondays,” any heterosexual male dressed in stereotypically heterosexual attire will receive a free beer. The bar is even seeking a “professional” judge to verify the attire, offering $15 per hour plus free beer.

Wednesdays will be “Heterosexual Couple’s Night,” with couples receiving a 15% discount on their bills. Thursdays are designated “Her Hetero Happy Hour,” where straight women can enjoy happy-hour prices all day.

However, some users supported the bar’s initiative. One person commented, “Thank you for taking a stand for the rest of the community who has been too scared to do the right thing.” Another supporter added, “I love that you have the balls to do a Hetero Male Monday party.”

In response to the backlash, Old State Saloon posted a follow-up message emphasizing their inclusive policy and defending their right to celebrate heterosexuality. The bar stated, “We love our LGBTQ+ patrons! We will not be changing our mind and give into the group of those who are responding with vitriol. We love our Black patrons too. We love our White patrons. We love our patrons who work for USPS. But we aren’t doing special nights for those people. Nor are we doing special nights for LGBTQ+.”

The post continued, “We are choosing to celebrate heterosexuals. We should be able to do that without so many people being so nasty to us, lying about us, canceling us, attacking our business, and/or trying to get us to make something about themselves. If you want us to change who we are celebrating, get over it. It’s not happening. Hooray for heterosexuals!”

Woke DOD Posts LGBTQ Pride Graphic for PTSD Awareness Month

The Department of Defense (DOD) faced online backlash after mistakenly posting a graphic intended to celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month instead of recognizing PTSD Awareness Month.

Since 2014, June has been designated as PTSD Awareness Month by the federal government. The same month has also been recognized as Pride Month since 2015. The DOD’s post on X, acknowledging PTSD Awareness Month, read: “June is PTSD Awareness Month and the DoD is committed to supporting service members and veterans affected by PTSD. If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. You are not alone.”

The controversy arose from the image accompanying the post, which featured the “Progress Pride Flag” and the phrase “Celebrate Pride Month 2024,” instead of a graphic supporting veterans with PTSD.

The error did not go unnoticed by users on social media. “The internet is FOREVER,” one X user wrote, sharing a screenshot of the original post. Another commenter added, “I’ve got PTSD from having LGBTQ propaganda shoved in my face for the same month.”

Melanie Fonder Kaye, Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of Defense (DATSD) for Strategic Engagement, still had the original pride post visible on her page, which was also reposted by the official DOD account.

Anti-Israel Protesters Block LGBTQ Pride Parade

A cadre of anti-Israel protesters blocked an LGBTQ pride parade on the streets of Philadelphia on Sunday, halting the procession.

The protesters were heard chanting a variety of anti-Israel slogans that have been said at protests around the country. They could be heard shouting, “Palestine will live forever! From the sea to the river!” and “No pride in genocide.” Video captured the moment:

According to the New York Post, the blockade happened “at the intersection of 11th Street and Locust Street after the Philly Pride March and Festival kicked off around 10:30 a.m. at Washington Square and headed to the city’s Gayborhood section.” (Read more from “Anti-Israel Protesters Block LGBTQ Pride Parade” HERE)

Under Biden, Federal Foster Care Funds Can Be Used to Buy Kids Chest Binders, Fake Penises

The Biden administration appears to be repurposing a federal program aimed at helping kids in the foster care system transition to adulthood, instead using the taxpayer dollars to fund efforts by children to transition into the opposite sex.

Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) says federal taxpayer dollars can be spent towards buying “personal items” that support “a youth’s expression of their gender identity,” which typically refer to accessories such as chest binders and so-called packers, which are prosthetic penises used by girls who want it to appear like they have male genitals.

A document from the Children’s Bureau, a federal agency which operates under the authority of HHS, reveals that federal funds can now be used by child welfare agencies to “support the provision of services, interventions, and supports to LGBTQIA2S+ children.” The document, titled “Federal Funding to Support Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, Two-Spirit, Plus (LGBTQIA2S+) Children, Youth, Young Adults, and Families,” explains that child welfare funds can now be used to encourage children to attempt to change their sex.

“[John H. Chafee Foster Care Program for Successful Transition to Adulthood] funding may be used in a number of ways to support LGBTQIA2S+ youth and allow them to participate in positive, affirming, age-appropriate activities,” the document states in reference to a foster care funding system. “For example, Chafee funds may be used to purchase personal items related to supporting a youth’s expression of their gender identity and/or sexual orientation.”

The Chafee funding program was originally intended to help children in the foster care system adjust to adult life, funding education, housing, and employment services. LGBT non-profit organizations took Biden’s policy guidance as an announcement that garments such as chest binders, used to flatten a girl’s breasts, and packers, which are prosthetic penises, can be purchased with federal dollars. Bird Group Teaches Fourth Graders All About The ‘Gender Fluid’ Wild Kingdom

Well, everybody’s heard about the bird. The bird is, after all, the word. In this post-apocalyptic “diversity, equity, and inclusion” age, the gay bird, the trans bird, the bi-bird, is the word. Or bi-bi birdie, if you prefer.

The Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, formerly known as Madison Audubon, offers “LGBTQIAP+ in Nature,” a class exploring the diverse range of sexuality and so-called gender fluidity in the animal kingdom. To fourth-graders.

“We know that there is a beautifully wide range of ways that humans identify, and scientists have learned that there are many examples of plants and animals that are LGBTQIAP+ in nature, too!,” the alliance declares on its website. You can come out now, lavender. Your secret’s out. And ferns, the lesbians of plants, you’re not fooling anyone.

“We created a lesson on this topic last year and recently shared with one of our fifth grade groups. It provided a great opportunity to build inclusive community within the classroom and led to thoughtful questions and discussion from the kids,” the environmental group gushes.

Just in case you’re scoring along at home, the ever-expanding alphabet of depravity in human beings is now being foisted on unsuspecting flora and fauna. (Read more from “Bird Group Teaches Fourth Graders All About The ‘Gender Fluid’ Wild Kingdom” HERE)

Nudist BDSM Fetishist Associated With Anti-Christian Drag Group Teaching Children at Texas Elementary School

A nudist BDSM fetishist and radical gay rights advocate has been teaching at an elementary school in San Antonio, Texas, prompting backlash from parents and concerned community members. Art Lesieur, also known as “Master Cat Artemis,” is also associated with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

Lesieur has been teaching music at Medio Creek Elementary, where he is listed both on the staff directory and has been featured in posts on the school’s Facebook. The information was first brought to light by Kelly Neidert on X (formerly Twitter).

Lesieur has seemingly made no effort to separate his sexual conduct from his identity as an elementary educator, and was described as being “a teacher in the San Antonio Community” in a post made by Austin Kink Weekend.

The post advertised him as one of the judges for the Lonestar Pup and Handler competition in Texas, a fetish event featuring men who dress and act like dogs.

According to a lengthy biography on the National Leather Association (NLA) website, Lesieur was part of the Bexar Men nudist group, for which he served on the board, before becoming a member of the San Antonio branch of the National Leather Association, a BDSM and fetish organization. School Won’t Let Fifth-Grader Start a Prayer Club — But Approves LGBTQ Group

A fifth-grade girl in Washington State was denied a request to start an interfaith prayer group at her elementary school after educators granted permission for an LGBTQ Pride club one week earlier.

11-year-old Laura, a Creekside Elementary student, told “Fox News @ Night” she had felt alone in her classroom and the larger school. After speaking with friends who felt the same way, Laura pitched the idea of bringing people together and doing good in the community.

Laura claimed the interfaith prayer group welcomed all students, regardless of religion.

“I think that this is something that I am very passionate about. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t really want to make this happen, if I didn’t think that it would be a great opportunity for everyone,” Laura said.

First Liberty Institute, a nonprofit Christian legal organization representing Laura, another unidentified student and their parents, sent a letter to Issaquah School District officials about the incident. J.K. Rowling Delivers Hilarious Translation of Woke Trans ‘Ally’s’ X Post

“Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling delivered a scathing translation of an X post written by a man who claimed to be an LGBTQ “ally” and warned her to delete posts referring to a trans-identifying male as a man.

Rowling exchanged a few posts with an attorney named Rajan Barot, responding first when he advised her to delete posts about a trans-identifying activist who goes by the name India Willoughby in order to avoid running afoul of a new law.

“It comes into force on 1 April 2024 and any posts up after that are amenable to prosecution in Scotland. You are best advised to delete the posts about @IndiaWilloughby as they most likely contravene the new law. Start deleting!” Barot posted.

“If you genuinely imagine I’d delete posts calling a man a man, so as not to be prosecuted under this ludicrous law, stand by for the mother of all April Fools’ jokes,” Rowling replied.

Dems Read Trans Book to Children for ‘National Reading Day’

Members of the Missouri Freedom Caucus read Daily Wire host Matt Walsh’s children’s book “Johnny the Walrus” after Democratic officials in the state read a book that promoted transgenderism to children for “National Reading Day.”

A video posted to X by the popular account Libs of TikTok earlier this month showed the Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Quinton Lucas, city officials, and council members reading “Introducing Teddy: A Gentle Story about Gender and Friendship.”

The LGBTQ book is written for children between the ages of 3 and 6 and focuses on a boy, Errol, and his teddy bear friend, Thomas. In the story, Thomas tells Errol that he feels like a “girl teddy,” and wishes his name was “Tilly.” Errol tells Thomas he “doesn’t care” if he’s “a girl teddy or a boy teddy. What matters is that you are my friend.” Thomas then puts his bowtie in his hair because he’s “always wanted a bow instead.”

Republican Missouri state Sen. Rick Brattin, along with members of the Missouri Freedom Caucus, responded to the Kansas City government officials’ video on Friday by posting a video of lawmakers reading Walsh’s bestselling children’s book.
