Miami School Board Rejects Recognizing ‘LGBTQ History Month’

The Miami-Dade School Board overwhelmingly voted to reject recognizing October as “LGBTQ History Month.”

After listening to three hours of heated debate, the board voted 8-1 Wednesday evening to strike down the measure that would also have included teaching 12th graders about Supreme Court cases Obergefell v. Hodges (inventing the constitutional right to gay marriage) and Bostock v. Clayton County (adding a “sexual orientation” protection to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964).

Last year, the board voted 7-1 in favor of defining October as “LGBTQ History Month,” something that did not include teaching about Obergefell or Bostock.

The lone vote in favor was school board member Lucia Baez Geller, who proffered the measure.

“There is an election year and the anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric is a tool used by some to spread misinformation,” she said, according to the Miami Herald. “This is just plain disinformation.” (Read more from “Miami School Board Rejects Recognizing ‘LGBTQ History Month’” HERE)

WATCH: Non-binary Teacher Takes to TikTok to Ask Whether There Is a Non-binary Form of the Term ‘Ma’am’

Libs of TikTok shared a video in which an individual, who apparently teaches somewhere in Texas and identifies as non-binary, asked whether there is a non-binary equivalent for the term “ma’am.”

The individual’s TikTok account includes a description that says, “Your local non-binary Math Teacher.” The account also includes the pronouns “They/Them.”

“I’ve come out to my students,” the teacher noted in the video. The person went on to say that a student had inquired about what language should be used, noting that referring to the teacher by saying “yes ma’am” or “yes” both seemed disrespectful.

The teacher, who noted in the video that the terms “ma’am” and “sir” are used to show respect, asked in the TikTok video whether there is a non-binary version.

The Transgender Movement Isn’t Just Targeting Kids, It’s Targeting Families

Evidence continues to mount that a concerted effort is underway between major hospitals and public school systems to indoctrinate children with transgender ideology and push harmful, sometimes irreversible, medical procedures on minors — sometimes without the knowledge or consent of parents.

The point of the indoctrination, though, isn’t only to create more “gender-nonconforming” students. It’s to break down family structures and parental authority. The goal isn’t simply to teach and encourage transgenderism in our schools. It’s to lay claim to the students themselves, over and against their parents and families, for purposes that go far beyond the promotion of gender identity. After all, you can’t very well reshape society according to your utopian vision if something as solid as a family is standing in the way.

The solution is to break down the family. Most recently, Christopher Rufo reported this week that the largest children’s hospital in Chicago has partnered with local school districts to promote a radical transgender agenda, including sexually explicit materials that push “kink,” “BDSM,” and “trans-friendly” sex toys for children.

In his customary muckraking fashion, Rufo has obtained insider documents from Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago detailing a collaboration between transgender activists at the hospital and public school administrators throughout greater Chicago. The primary training document, a presentation titled “Beyond Binary: Gender in Schools,” encourages teachers and school administrators to promote “gender diversity” in their districts by affirming students who mistakenly believe they are members of the opposite sex, teaching a “non-binary understanding of gender” in classrooms, and aiming to disrupt “entrenched [gender] norms in western society” in hopes of creating a more “gender creative” world. Everything You Need to Know About the Gay Couple Accused of Sexually Abusing Their Adopted Boys

A gay married couple in Georgia who were arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing their two young adopted boys to make child pornography are vehement LGBTQ activists, according to the pair’s social media activity.

On the night of July 27, authorities executed a search warrant around 11:30 p.m. “just hours after receiving information that there were children in harm’s way” at the Oxford home of 32-year-old William Dale Zulock Jr. and 35-year-old Zachary Jacoby Zulock, according to a press release from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

Earlier in the evening, detectives in the criminal investigation division raided a house in unincorporated Loganville after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI)’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was tipped off that a man was downloading child porn. Authorities learned during an interview with the unnamed individual that there was another suspect in the county who was “producing homemade child sexual abuse material with at least one adopted child who lived in the home with the perpetrator,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook. “Evidence was obtained to corroborate these statements.” Deputies found evidence during the nighttime search-and-research effort that “the adoptive fathers of the sibling pair residing in the home were engaging in sexually abusive acts and video documenting this abuse,” according to the Facebook statement. . .

It appears William applied to be represented by a Walton County public defender. A letter viewed by Townhall that was addressed to William shows that the Indigent Defense Program determined that he is ineligible for a court-appointed defense attorney, citing tens of thousands in equity and his spouse’s income of $7,500 a week. A similar denial memo was sent to Zachary, pointing to equity and his own well-to-do weekly earnings.

Zachary’s since-deleted LinkedIn page said he was a branch coordinator at the SunTrust bank in Duluth. A bank supervisor said over the phone, “Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to make any comments,” and, “We can’t verify any information in regards” to Zulock’s current employment at the branch or how much he makes. Lefty Teacher Excuses Heinous Sex Crimes Committed by Gay Couple

Mia will dive deeper into the seventh circle of woke hell that will probably not see much daylight with media outlets because of the principals involved. It doesn’t fit a particular media narrative, so countermeasures will be deployed once the drive-by story is published. I don’t need to fill in the blanks here. You’re all well-versed in the political correctness game that’s engulfed the news media, but this heinous story happened, nonetheless. A gay couple got arrested for producing a child porn freak show with their adopted children[.]

“I would look at where the boys were coming from,” wrote Kelly on Twitter.

“Maybe their birth families were worse in their physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological abuse. The boys could have been better off with loving sexual relationships. (Main problem is when they grow up and want romance,” she added.

Excuse me, lady? You think the “main problem” is the pursuit of romance in these kids’ latter days. Also, I’m pretty sure child porn and sexual molestation are the apex of abuse in all those areas—psychological, spiritual, emotional, and physical—you just listed. Ukraine LGBTQ Community Upset Over Russian Invasion

The official Pride parade in Kyiv was canceled this year after a decade of hard-fought efforts for more acceptance of LGBTQ people.

Before Russia invaded, Ukraine – a largely religious nation with a long history of oppression against sexual and gender expression – had increasingly become a rare bright spot for LGBTQ rights and a sanctuary of sorts for Eastern Europe. Ex-Soviet LGBTQ individuals would travel to experience a gay nightclub scene, especially in larger cities like Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Odesa, where they could feel safer to be open.

‘Off His Rocker’: DeSantis Blasts Biden for Tying School Lunches to LGBT Policy (VIDEO)

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) blasted President Joe Biden for requiring schools to comply with federal LGBT protections or risk losing funding for school lunches.

DeSantis has vowed to stand by Florida’s move to ban classroom instruction on sexual identity in spite of “Biden’s intentionally destructive policies like denying school lunches.”

“I mean, give me a break! Totally off his rocker to be doing that,” DeSantis said. “We’re fighting on that, don’t worry. So, we’re just prepared to be able to defend the taxpayers and the hard-working people in the state of Florida, and I couldn’t be prouder for doing that.”

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service announced that the National School Lunch Program for low-income students would not be provided to schools that do not adopt the Biden administration’s interpretation of Title IX, holding a provision against sexual discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Left-Wing Critics Say Bill Maher Should Be ‘Canceled’ Over LGBTQ Comments (VIDEO)

Left-wing critics are demanding that HBO “cancel” Bill Maher after accusing the HBO “Real Time” host of delivering an anti-transgender monologue on last Friday’s show.

David Kilmnick, who heads the nonprofit LGBT Network, wrote an article in Advocate magazine on Wednesday titled: “Bill Maher Has Gone Too Far With Anti-LGBTQ+ Comments.”

Maher was blasted for saying that “we’re literally experimenting on children” by providing them with puberty blockers and other treatments aimed at facilitating gender transitions.

He also said that transitioning was becoming “trendy.” Maher hit out at Chase Strangio, a lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union, who cheered efforts to ban a book by author Abigail Shrier.

Shrier, a Wall Street Journal writer, is author of “Irreversible Damage,” which explores the rapidly growing trend of teenage girls who undergo therapies and surgeries to transition to boys.

Kuwait Summons Top US Diplomat Over Tweets Celebrating Pride Month

Officials from Kuwait have summoned a diplomat over the U.S. Embassy’s decision to post tweets supporting Pride Month.

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry summoned U.S. Charges d’Affaires James Holtsnider on Thursday to hand him a memorandum regarding a series of tweets “supporting homosexuality” and demanded that it not happen again. Kuwait is one of 69 countries where homosexuality is banned.

“All human beings should be treated with respect and dignity and should be able to live without fear no matter who they are or whom they love,” the embassy tweeted in reference to a May 17 statement by President Joe Biden, referring to the president as “a champion for the human rights of #LGBTQI persons.”

The ministry accused the embassy of violating international conventions that require diplomats to “respect the laws and regulations of the receiving state,” referencing the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961. It then ordered the U.S. Embassy to respect Kuwait’s laws and “not to publish such tweets,” according to the BBC. Woke Activists Ban Police From Doing Their Job at Pride Parades

June 1 marks the first day of the LGBTQ community’s month long holiday where woke corporations add rainbows to all of its logos in effort to show how “inclusive” they are to the left. This also entails cities hosting Pride parades with crowds bigger than Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

Similar to last year, uniformed police officers will be banned from actively participating in the Pride parades. For years, officers have been encouraged to attend the events, but since the 2020 riots and the so-called police brutality movement, LGBTQ members say their presence can be a “trigger” for them.

This year, the NYPD is prohibited from attending the parade and will have to monitor the parade from a block away. In 2021, New York Pride organizers banned gay and lesbian police officers from participating in the parade until 2025. A move that mayor Eric Adams (D-NY) called “disappointing and contradicts our freedom of expression.”
