Gay Attorney General Says There Should Be a ‘Drag Queen for Every School’

A Michigan attorney general is facing criticism after she suggested that there should be “a drag queen for every school.”

Attorney General Dana Nessel made the comments during a civil rights summit in Lansing, Michigan, on Wednesday.

Nessel is the first openly gay person voted into statewide office in Michigan.

“Drag queens make everything better. Drag queens are fun,” she is quoted as saying by Detroit News reporter Craig Mauger.

Car Owner Sued After Jeep Kills Mechanic During Oil Change (VIDEO)

A Michigan man who left his car at a dealership for an oil change and tire rotation is being sued after his vehicle was involved in the death of one of the dealership’s employees.

Sergio Enrique Diaz-Navarro took his red 2019 Wrangler to a Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership on March 13, 2020, and 19-year-old lube technician Daniel Thompson worked on the car. After the service was complete, the vehicle “lurched forward” as the young employee attempted to operate it, crushing 42-year-old mechanic Jeffrey Hawkins against a cabinet, court records show.

Thompson had lowered the Jeep from the vehicle lift, and then tried to start the car and let it idle to ensure there were no oil leaks around the filter, according to court records.

“Thompson reached into the vehicle and pressed brake with his right foot, keeping his other foot on the floor,” the plaintiff summary reads. “He pressed the start button. When the vehicle did not start, he took his foot off the brake and depressed the clutch pedal. He again hit the start button. This time the Jeep started. He removed his foot from the clutch, still standing outside the vehicle. The vehicle lurched forward.” . . .

Attorney David Femminineo, who is representing Hawkins’ estate, told FOX 2 that Thompson did not know how to drive the vehicle’s manual transmission and did not have a license. The attorney also said the dealership cannot be sued because of a legal standard preventing an employee from suing their boss for negligence, which, in this case, would be the hiring of someone who should not have been driving. Parents Fuming After Kindergartner Shares Margaritas With Classmates

Michigan parents are livid after a kindergartner shared a bottle of ready-to-drink Jose Cuervo margaritas with her classmates during snack time.

One mother, Alexis Smith, explained how her child at Grand River Academy in Livonia, Michigan, took four to five sips of the tequila drink from a Dixie cup at school, according to a report. . .

The young girls were given the booze during snack time and reportedly thought the alcoholic drink was juice.

“The girl poured it in her cup and she drank it and the girl ended up telling her what it is, and she went and told the teacher there is liquor in this cup, and the teacher gave her a funny face,” according to Zanders.

The Gov’t Plot to Kidnap a Gov: Inside FBI’s Infiltration and Entrapment of a Militia Crew

The FBI got walloped last week when a Michigan jury concluded that the bureau had entrapped two men accused of plotting to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Those men and others were arrested a few weeks before the 2020 election in a high-profile, FBI-fabricated case that Joe Biden claimed showed President Trump’s “tolerance of hate, vengeance, and lawlessness to plots such as this one.” But the jury verdict exposes how the feds have created the monsters they parade to vindicate their vast power over Americans. . .

Whitmer was denounced at protests and on the Facebook page of the “Wolverine Watchmen,” where angry anti-government bluster poured forth. Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg testified to Congress in October 2020 that Facebook had “identified” the Whitmer kidnap plot “as a signal to the FBI about six months ago” regarding “suspicious activity on our platform.” . . .

But the plot didn’t exist at that point.

That is, until multiple government-paid newcomers joined the group. Stephen Robeson, an FBI informant with a list of felonies and other crimes, organized key events to build the movement.

Dan Chapel, another FBI informant who was paid $54,000, became second-in-command and masterminded the military training for the group, even as he helped the feds wiretape their messages. Public University Accidentally Sends Email Promising to Advance Anti-Semitism

The University of Michigan’s diversity, equity, and inclusion lead accidentally sent an email to students “committing” to advancing anti-Semitism, according to email correspondence reviewed by the Daily Caller.

In an email to students, Vice Provost for Equity and Inclusion Robert Sellers listed goals for the university’s culture to strive towards in light of the university achieving phase one of its five-year DEI strategic plan. Accidentally included in that list was the word “anti-Semitism.”

“If we are to become a more diverse, equitable and inclusive University, we must continue our journey and renew our commitment to this work, which includes the advancement of anti-racism, anti-ableism, anti-Semitism, gender equity and building a climate resistant to sexual misconduct,” the email read.

Surprise! Religious Rights Victory Is Wonderful News for Children

In a victory for religious rights across America, the state of Michigan has agreed to settle a lawsuit with a provision that allows a religious adoption agency to decline to place children with same-sex duos, because that would violate members’ faith.

The state also will be paying the agency $550,000 for its fees and costs in the dispute.

The Washington Examiner reported the conclusion of the case involving Michigan and St. Vincent Catholic Charities is that “faith-based adoption agencies and foster care organizations contracting with the Michigan government will not be required to grant children to same-sex couples.”

Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced in a statement that it was resuming contracting with agencies that disallow adoptions by same-sex duos.

Officials cited a June 2021 U.S. Supreme Court ruling, on the same dispute in Philadelphia, in which Chief Justice John Roberts wrote Philadelphia’s discrimination against those organizations violated the First Amendment. Hilarious: School District Denies Litter Boxes for Students Identifying as ‘Furries’ (VIDEO)

. . .A Michigan school district has debunked a wild claim that a school provided litter boxes for students who identified as “furries” — people who dress up as anthropomorphic animals. A Facebook post detailing the hilarious rumor is blowing up online.

“There is no truth whatsoever to this false statement/accusation!” wrote Michael E. Sharrow, the superintendent for Midland Public Schools, near Detroit, which was accused of the bizarre concession at a Dec. 20 board meeting.

At the school sit-down, concerned parent Lisa Hansen said she was “really disturbed” after reportedly learning from a student that “at least one of our schools in our town, in one of the unisex bathrooms, a litter box for the kids that identify as cats.

“I’m all for creativity and imagination, but when someone lives in a fantasy world and expects other people to go along with it, I have a problem with that,” added Hansen, who defined “furry” as someone who identifies as a “cat or a dog, whatever.”

She also claimed that the “nefarious” practice was part of a nationwide “agenda being pushed” within the education system.

Judge Who Shamed Cancer-Stricken Man Over Lawn Apologizes

A Michigan judge who berated a cancer patient for overgrown weeds outside his home has apologized, saying she’s “very embarrassed” by her actions in court.

Hamtramck District Court Judge Alexis Krot has admitted that she went too far after she ridiculed Burhan Chowdhury, 72, during a hearing on Jan. 10.

“I made a mistake,” Krot said in a statement Tuesday. “I acted intemperately. I’m very embarrassed that I did so. I apologize to the person who appeared before me and to our entire community for having failed to meet the high standards that we expect of our judicial officers, and that I expect of myself.”

Krot said she reported herself to a state commission that looks into judicial misconduct. Footage of the proceeding when the irate judge ordered Chowdhury to pay a $100 fine went viral last week.

“I had no legal duty to report myself to the commission,” she said. “But I did so because, like apologizing to the community, it was the right thing to do. Huge Numbers Respond to Poll With Desire for Voter ID Election Integrity

A new poll of Michigan residents, much like other polls in recent months, shows they overwhelming want their elections to be secure.

According to a report from Great Lakes Wire, the poll from Remington Research Group found that more than 75% of the respondents support a requirement to show a government-issued photo ID in order to vote.

Among blacks in Michigan, the support was higher – 79%.

The poll was commissioned by Americans for Citizen Voting, and interviewed 1,011 likely 2022 General Election Michigan voters.

“A majority of African Americans in Michigan support voter ID because they understand it is the surest way to validate a voter’s identification,” explained Christopher Arps, president of Americans for Citizen Voting. School Shooting Suspect and Parents Held at Same Facility on Suicide Watch

Ethan Crumbley, the 15-year-old accused of fatally shooting four classmates in Michigan, and his parents are being held in the same facility, with all three on suicide watch.

James and Jennifer Crumbley and their son are being held at Oakland County Jail in Pontiac, Michigan, and being checked on “multiple times an hour” to prevent suicide, Oakland Country Sheriff Michael Bouchard said Saturday. The three do not have contact with each other, he added.

Ethan Crumbley does not know that his parents, apprehended early Saturday after a manhunt, are also in custody.
