Report: School Shooter’s Neighbor Warned Authorities About Parents’ Neglect

A neighbor of accused Michigan high school shooter Ethan Crumbley says she warned authorities about his parents’ alleged neglect of him before last week’s slaughter, a new report reveals.

Kayla LeMieux, who lives near Ethan and his parents, James and Jennifer Crumbley, said she alerted child-abuse authorities that the pair would leave their son — then 8 or 9 years old — home alone while they went out bar-hopping, according to a report in the Detroit Free Press.

“When they were gone, he would come knock on our door,” LeMieux, 28, told the outlet. “They didn’t leave him with a phone.”

LeMieux said she notified Child Protective Services but doesn’t know if they took action — noting that the alleged neglect continued.

“It was really when I finally started to say more, because I was just like, even after calling CPS, they were still doing it and even me saying something to them, they were still like, ‘Oh, he is fine,’ ” she said. Michigan School Shooting Suspect Charged With Terrorism, Murder; 4 Students Dead

Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald announced that Ethan Crumbley, the 15-year-old suspect in the Michigan school shooting, will be charged as an adult with one count of terrorism causing death, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The suspect will be charged as an adult, McDonald said.

“There are crimes that the legislature said that are so serious, that a person who commits them can automatically be charged as an adult. First Degree Murder is the most serious of all those crimes. Second, there are facts leading up to the shooting that suggests this was not just an impulsive act,” McDonald said, who noted those facts “are not appropriate for discussion” at this time. . .

Four students died due to the shooting. Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard identified three of the students on Tuesday as 16-year-old Tate Myre, 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana, and 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin. . .

The fourth student died on Wednesday morning and was identified as 15-year-old Justin Shilling. McDonald clarified at the press conference that Shilling was 15, not 17 as previously reported. (Read more from “Michigan School Shooting Suspect Charged With Terrorism, Murder; 4 Students Dead” HERE)

Video Shows ‘Red Flag’ That Had Students Fleeing High School Shooter (VIDEO)

Terrified students apparently hunkered down in a classroom during Tuesday’s deadly school shooting in Michigan — then jumped out the window amid fears the gunman was impersonating a sheriff in the hallway, according to footage shared to social media.

“Sheriff’s office. It’s safe to come out,” a male voice can be heard saying tentatively from behind the door of the Oxford High School classroom during the shooting that left three students dead and eight others wounded, the postings say.

A dozen or so frightened students seen on the clip inside the room are immediately skeptical of the supposed authority figure. . .

Man Drowns With Winning Lottery in His Wallet

A Michigan man won $45,000 in a lottery game – but drowned with the ticket in his wallet before he was able to cash it.

Gregory Jarvis, 57, was at the Blue Water Inn in Caseville on Sept. 13 when he played the Club Keno add-on game The Jack — and hit the jackpot, WJRT of Flint reported.

“Very nice guy, he was here every day,” joint owner Dawn Talaski told the news station. “Somebody said someone just won The Jack and he said, ‘Great,’ and someone asked him, ‘Was it you?’ and it was, so he was super excited.”

Talaski said Jarvis returned to the inn almost a week later and bought rounds of drinks, but had still not cashed his winning ticket because he didn’t have the proper documentation.

“He couldn’t cash it because he didn’t have a Social Security card at all, it wasn’t any good, so he applied for a new one,” she told WJRT. (Read more from “Man Drowns With Winning Lottery in His Wallet” HERE)

Report: Fully Vaccinated Couple Dies From COVID-19 a Minute Apart While Holding Hands

A fully vaccinated Michigan couple died one minute apart from COVID-19 on Sunday, weeks after coming down with the virus.

Cal Dunham, 59, and his wife Linda, 66, had preexisting conditions and were very cautious, Fox17Online reported. But they came down with symptoms during a recent camping trip and days later were hospitalized and put on ventilators, the report said.

They did not improve and doctors told the family that they would likely need to come off life support on Monday. Their daughter Sarah Dunham told the outlet that the pair “had other plans.”

“It was Sunday and dad’s like, ‘You know what? This is what we’re going to do today,’” she said.

They were reportedly wheeled into the same room. He died at 11:07 a.m. and she died at 11:08 a.m., the report said. They were holding hands. (Read more from “Report: Fully Vaccinated Couple Dies From COVID-19 a Minute Apart While Holding Hands” HERE)

State Lawmaker Faces Additional Charges After Allegedly Attempting To Escape Custody

A Michigan state representative is facing additional felony charges after allegedly having a handcuff key taped to his foot when he was arrested Tuesday.

Democratic Michigan State Rep. Jewell Jones was arraigned Wednesday for attempting to escape custody while waiting for a felony trial after his arrest Tuesday, according to The Detroit News.

“Clearly this defendant has shown through his actions, through his decisions, through his choices, he has a total disregard to follow court orders, to conform his behaviors to the law, and he has a total disregard for public safety,” Chief Assistant Prosecutor Carolyn Henry said, according to the outlet. Fight Over Discovery Erupts in 2020 Election Fraud Lawsuit

. . .Attorneys for Antrim County and Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson are objecting to a proposed order from Matthew DePerno, the attorney for the plaintiff, filed after a judge rejected an effort last month to force a new audit of the results.

In anticipation of an appeal, 13th Circuit Court Judge Kevin Elsenheimer said it was is his understanding that all other matters had been put on hold for the time being and noted the court “will take all pending motions under advisement.”

The judge ordered DePerno to submit a proposed order on the stay, but what the attorney turned in “is not accurate,” Michigan Assistant Attorney General Erik Grill contended in a brief, according to the Traverse City Record-Eagle.

“The Court had stated that ‘all matters’ would be stayed — including discovery. But the Plaintiff’s proposed order stays only unresolved motions and would not stay discovery or any other matters,” he added. (Read more from “Fight Over Discovery Erupts in 2020 Election Fraud Lawsuit” HERE)

Dem Governor Forced To Apologize for Violating Her Own COVID Rules

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer apologized after she was caught violating one of her own coronavirus-related orders.

On May 15, the state’s Department of Health and Human Services issued an order disallowing groups of more than six people to be seated together at a restaurant, and each party has to be separated by six feet. However, the governor was caught disregarding that rule on Saturday.

Whitmer was spotted at the Landshark Bar & Grill in East Lansing. A photograph of the group with Whitmer showing tables pushed tougher and no masks being worn was briefly posted on social media. Her chief operating officer, Tricia Foster, was also at the event.

“Throughout the pandemic, I’ve been committed to following public health protocols,” Whitmer said Sunday in a statement. “Yesterday, I went with friends to a local restaurant. As more people arrived, the tables were pushed together. Because we were all vaccinated, we didn’t stop to think about it.”

“In retrospect, I should have thought about it. I am human,” she added. “I made a mistake, and I apologize.” (Read more from “Dem Governor Forced To Apologized for Violating Her Own COVID Rules” HERE)

Michigan Governor Visited Florida While Telling Residents Not to Travel

Her spokesman confirmed Monday that Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer flew to Florida more than four weeks ago. The formal announcement raises glaring questions over why Whitmer has been criticizing Florida’s handling of the pandemic and urging Michiganders to not leave the state she has kept in one of the tightest lockdowns in the nation.

“In the past six months, she has left the state three times, once for the inauguration, once to assist her elderly father who is battling a chronic illness, and once to visit with Michigan’s National Guard troops,” said Bobby Leddy, Whitmer’s press secretary. “All trips were very brief, two full days or less, closely followed public health guidelines, and were made when Michigan’s daily positivity rate was in the low single digits.”

Breitbart News reported last week that a top Whitmer aide traveled to Florida for spring break and posted several pictures. Tricia L. Foster, appointed by Whitmer as the Michigan chief operations officer, documented her trip comprehensively on Facebook.

The new information further contradicts Whitmer’s continued efforts to lock down her state. Whitmer’s press secretary called the Breitbart report “a partisan attack from a garbage white nationalist website” in an email to Newsweek. Leddy did not clarify to Newsweek whether Foster was vaccinated prior to her trip.

In May 2020, Whitmer was criticized for telling Michigan residents and property owners to stay home on Memorial Day Weekend after the public learned her husband had pressured a locked-down dock owner to get their boat in the water that same weekend at a vacation spot 150 miles away from their home.
