Pelosi Claims Chinese Interference for Biden Isn’t Equivalent With Russia

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is warning voters the decision over who the next president is may not be totally in their hands.

Pelosi said Sunday that Russia is a major threat to election security heading into November and differentiated the issue from threats posed by China and Iran, which reportedly do not want to see a victory for President Trump.

“Russia is actively, 24/7 interfering in our election,” Pelosi told CNN’s State of the Union. “They did so in 2016, and they are doing so now.”

She added that China is believed to prefer presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden to win in November, an election interference threat she called “not equivalent.” . . .

“They try to blanket it with the Chinese, they said, prefer Biden — we don’t know that, but that’s what they’re saying, but they’re not really getting involved in the presidential election,” she said. (Read more from “Pelosi Claims Chinese Interference for Biden Isn’t Equivalent With Russia” HERE)

Pelosi: COVID Is ‘The Trump Virus’

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) referred to coronavirus as “the Trump virus” and stated that “If it’s important to wear a mask now, it would have been important to wear it in March,” and that if he had told people to socially distance “instead of having rallies and political whatever they were, then more people would have followed his lead.”

Pelosi said, “Well, I think with the president’s comments today, he recognized the mistakes that he has made, by now embracing mask-wearing, and the recognition this is not a hoax, it is a pandemic, that has gotten worse before it will get better. Because of his inaction, and, in fact, clearly, it is the Trump virus.” (Read more from “Pelosi: COVID Is ‘The Trump Virus’” HERE)

Pence Goes off on Nancy Pelosi for Her Reaction to Statue Destruction (VIDEO)

Vice President Mike Pence told Breitbart News exclusively in Pennsylvania that U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s comments earlier on Thursday dismissing vandals who destroyed a Christopher Columbus statue in Baltimore on July 4 were “unconscionable.”

Pence, who sat with Breitbart News for an exclusive interview on his and President Donald Trump’s campaign bus — Pence’s first campaign bus tour since before the coronavirus pandemic hit — expressed the outrage he felt when he saw Pelosi’s comments, just moments before.

“Tearing down monuments is not protests,” Pence said. “Burning churches is not free speech. To have the Speaker of the House tacitly affirm the rule of the mob is unconscionable. For Speaker Nancy Pelosi to say ‘they will do what they will do’ is a surrender to the mob. We’re not going to have it. The American people know the foundation of our prosperity is law and order and the rule of law. We’re going to continue to stand strong for the rule of law against the rule of the mob.”

Earlier on Thursday, asked during her press conference about people who tore down a Christopher Columbus statue in Baltimore, Pelosi brushed concerns aside.

Senator: Pelosi Claiming GOP Tried Getting Away With Floyd’s Murder Was ‘Most Outrageous, Sinful Comment’

Appearing Friday on Fox News Radio’s The Guy Benson Show, Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) unloaded on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for accusing Senate Republicans of attempting to “get away” with “the murder of George Floyd” with their police reform legislation, branding her claim “the most outrageous, sinful comment I’ve heard as a public official.”

Nancy Pelosi Silent on Own Father Who Oversaw Dedication of Confederate Statue

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who on Wednesday demanded the removal of Confederate statues occupying the U.S. Capitol, has remained silent on her father’s role in overseeing the dedication of the Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee Monument while serving as Baltimore’s mayor in 1948.

Pelosi this week formally requested the removal of Confederate statues occupying the U.S. Capitol, dismissing them as “monuments to men who advocated cruelty and barbarism to achieve such a plainly racist end.” Her demand comes as angry protesters across the nation take matters into their own hands, vandalizing — and in some cases, beheading — statues and monuments memorializing the Civil War era and beyond.

“As I have said before, the halls of Congress are the very heart of our democracy. The statues in the Capitol should embody our highest ideals as Americans, expressing who we are and who we aspire to be as a nation,” Pelosi said in her letter to Committee Chair Roy Blunt (R-MO) and Vice Chair Zoe Lofgren (D-CA).

“Monuments to men who advocated cruelty and barbarism to achieve such a plainly racist end are a grotesque affront to these ideals,” she continued. “Their statues pay homage to hate, not heritage. They must be removed.”

However, her father, Thomas D’Alesandro, Jr., oversaw the dedication of such a statue in Baltimore’s Wyman Park — the Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee Monument — as mayor of the city in 1948. At the time, the Speaker’s father said people could look to Jackson’s and Lee’s lives as inspiration and urged Americans to “emulate Jackson’s example and stand like a stone wall against aggression in any form that would seek to destroy the liberty of the world.” (Read more from “Nancy Pelosi Silent on Own Father Who Oversaw Dedication of Confederate Statue” HERE)

Republicans Decide to Take a Knee and Wash Pelosi’s Feet

Democrats and the media demand that Republicans kneel and wash Pelosi’s feet. The GOP response? “How low and how much water to use?”

The problem conservatives have had with their misfit political party for decades is that the Republicans merely serve as the rear end of the Democrats. They immediately follow wherever the Democrats go and promote whatever issue they are propagating.

One man has been killed by police in what certainly appears to be a murderous act. Justice has been swifter than we’ve ever seen against any citizen, cop or otherwise, accused of murder. There is zero evidence that race had anything to do with the motivation of those cops, two of whom were not white and one of whom says he did work with Somali refugees.

Dozens have been killed and wounded by the rioters. They are blocking traffic and destroying businesses and sections of cities, and crime is spiking across the nation. Which problem is more systemic and demanding of a legislative fix – George Floyd’s death or the response to Floyd’s death and the months’ worth of jailbreak policies that have fueled the rioting through release of career criminals?

One would expect Republicans to push an agenda addressing the spike in crime and the takeover of our streets with as much passion as Democrats are pushing legislation to try to relitigate the Civil War and make an entire generation guilty for one act of police brutality. At the core, this is why Trump was elected – to stop the vicious cycle of GOP kneeling and genuflecting to the Left.

In comes Jared Kushner, who is dispatched to meet with Sen. Tim Scott, an ardent proponent of jailbreak policies, to create federalized standards on policing. The “Republican alternative” to Pelosi’s anti-policing bill, if you will. While fake-fighting the straw man and impossible idea of defunding the police, Republicans are essentially agreeing to most everything leading up to that, when we need to be tougher, not weaker, on crime.

McConnell said yesterday, following a Senate GOP lunch, “Absolutely, I think it’s important to have a response.” “None of us have had the experience of being an African American in this country and dealing with this discrimination,” McConnell said. “The best way for the Senate Republicans to go forward on this is to listen to one of our own. He’s had these experiences; he’s had them since he’s been in the United States Senate.”

“I’ve asked Sen. Tim Scott to lead a group that is working on a proposal to allow us to respond to the obvious racial discrimination that we’ve seen on full display on our television screens over the last two weeks — and what is the appropriate response by the federal government,” McConnell (R-Ky.) said.

So now Republicans believe in the blood libel too?

Where is the GOP narrative on inner cities becoming war zones, with dead black citizens every day thanks to the lack of deterrent and a hands-off approach by police?

Where is the GOP agenda to reopen our roads from the violent takeovers of the BLM movement still taking place across our cities and even on interstate highways?

Where is the GOP agenda to deal with the black businesses that have been destroyed by the lockdown and now by the rioting, along with the long-term effects on minority communities?

Where is the GOP agenda to deal with the already-existing trend reversing over 20 years of gains against violent crime?

Why does the mob rule? Why do violence and crime pay? Does the silent and silenced majority of this country need to follow suit to have our needs addressed?

Republicans are now to the left of where Democrats were just a few years ago. They are now championing the narrative of the NYT’s 1619 Project to suddenly suggest that this generation of Americans is responsible for sins of the past that have long since been rectified. A premise that was conceived this year as a fringe alt-left idea has now gone mainstream in the Republican Party.

What is the GOP exit strategy? They are now using a single homicide by a police officer (amid exponentially more killings of cops and other citizens by career criminals) as a pretext to remake America, infringe upon the freedom of speech and freedom of movement, create a cancel and book-burning culture, and demand we all sacrifice our security. If Republicans think they can kneel their way out of this, they should just move to a Wuhan wet market. There is no end to a blood libel like this. The more they feed the rapacious beast, the more they will validate and legitimize this injustice.

But alas, this is the purpose of the GOP – to validate the narrative of the Left with a “conservative version” of their destruction of the day. Watch for them to do the same thing with immigration the minute the Supreme Court, in all likelihood, says DACA was unlawful. They refuse to address the needs of Americans with legislation reducing immigration during such a period of high unemployment, deporting criminal aliens, and getting rid of sanctuary cities. Yet the minute that decision comes out, they will interrupt even their kneeling to the race hustlers and pro-criminal lobby to pass an amnesty bill even before a “hamstring the police” bill.

We are simultaneously suffering from the tyranny of the soft lockdown and the anarchy of the rioting – both rooted in false premises and disproportionate “systemic” responses to specific events. If the Republicans can’t provide a bold contrast and a different path on either of these issues, what exactly is the purpose of their existence? Pelosi: Republicans Are Afraid of Vote by Mail; Lawsuit Claims Michigan Risks Fraud, as County Has More Registered Voters Than People Who Can Vote

By Breitbart. Wednesday on CNN’s “Newsroom,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) accused the Republican Party of being “afraid of the vote.” Thus, she argued Republicans were attempting to limit voting by mail.

Host Brooke Baldwin asked, “Do you any concern how things will go in November just from what they experienced in Georgia late last night.”

Pelosi said, “I agree with the distinguished mayor had to say, and she has firsthand experience in the voter suppression that exists, and it takes many forms including not being ready for an election that you know what your responsibilities are. Let me say that in the HEROES Act which we hope will be passed which supports our first responders and our health care workers, our heroes in all of this, our teachers and the rest, against the fight against the coronavirus, and helps state and localities do their job — also having their considerable resources for voting by mail. This is not only a democracy issue of helping people vote at home, therefore, making it easier for them, it is a health issue in the time of the coronavirus. To see what happened in Georgia, where in certain neighborhoods that are more affluent and more white, it took you 20 minutes to vote. But it took hours in other neighborhoods. One could be suspicious that could be by design. So, again, in the bill, we have $3.6 billion—” . . .

She added, “But I will tell you if you saw the Republican playbook on voter suppression, you would see that there is a plan here that says we’re afraid of the vote, we’re going to do everything we can to limit it. Limit it in terms of geography, locations, and in terms of timing as to how late or in advance polls are open and limit it in terms of mechanics of the election when it comes to voting by mail. But you know what, we don’t agonize, we organize. We’re going to be ready for all of this — because that is what we owe our Constitution, and that is what we owe our democracy. That is what we owe our children and all of the American people.” (Read more from “Pelosi: Republicans Are Afraid of Vote by Mail” HERE)

Lawsuit Claims Michigan Risks Fraud, as County Has More Registered Voters Than People Who Can Vote

By Fox News. A voter filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Bureau of Elections Director Jonathan Brater and other officials, claiming that in at least 16 counties voter rolls have not been properly maintained and that this leaves them vulnerable to fraud in November’s election.

Tony Daunt, a Republican active in his state and county parties, alleges that the Michigan voter registration rates in these counties are “suspiciously high” because their voting records have not been cleaned out to remove ineligible voters, including those who have died, moved, or been convicted of felonies. . .

The lawsuit cited data compiled by the Honest Elections Project, which includes information from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2014-18 American Community Survey and the latest count of registered voters from Benson’s office.

In one county, the number of registered voters actually exceeded the number of people of voting age.

“Comparing the registered voter count to the 2014-18 American Community Survey reveals that Leelanau County has a registration rate of 102%,” the complaint says. In 15 other counties mentioned in the lawsuit, that percentage is above 90 percent. WATCH: McConnell UNLOADS on Dems Criticizing Senate ‘Obamagate’ Inquiry; Next Coronavirus Package Not Too Far Off; Dems Trying to ‘Incentivize Unemployment’ in Latest Relief Bill

By Breitbart. Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) responded to criticism from his House of Representatives counterpart Speaker Nancy Pelosi regarding the House Homeland Security Committee’s use of subpoena power in the lead-up to the 2017 investigation of alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. . .

“I’d say to the speaker, after the impeachment, you — you’re not in a position to be lecturing us about what the appropriate use of Senate time is,” he said. “The House of Representatives is arguing before the Supreme Court that they’re still looking at yet another impeachment. They’re arguing that before the Supreme Court this week. Look, this is the legitimate oversight responsibility of the Senate.” (Read more from “WATCH: McConnell Unloads on Dems Criticizing Senate ‘Obamagate’ Inquiry” HERE)

Next U.S. Coronavirus Rescue Package Not Too Far Off, McConnell Says

By Yahoo News. U.S. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said on Thursday another stimulus package to deal with the impact of the coronavirus was “not too far off.”

“I think there is a high likelihood we will do another rescue package,” McConnell told Fox News Channel in an interview.

“But we need to be able to measure the impact of what we’ve already done, what we did right, what we did wrong … We’re not quite ready to intelligently lay down the next step, but it’s not too far off.” (Read more from “Next U.S. Coronavirus Rescue Package Not Too Far Off, McConnell Says” HERE)

McConnell: Dems Trying to ‘Incentivize’ Unemployment in Latest Coronavirus Relief Bill

By Breitbart. Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) rejected congressional Democrats’ calls for passage of the HEROES Act, the latest measure promoted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Well, we know these are desperate times as a result of the pandemic,” he said. “The CARES Act, which we passed a few — a month or so ago, on a bipartisan basis, only about half of that money has gone out yet. I think there’s a high likelihood we will do another rescue package. But we need to be able to measure the impact of what we have already done, what we did right, what we did wrong, correct that. And we’re not quite ready to intelligently lay down the next step, but it’s not too far off. Let me tell you what it won’t be. It won’t be a $3 trillion left-wing wish list that passed the House that they almost — couldn’t get all the Democrats to vote for, that Senator Schumer is in favor of. That’s not going to pass the Senate. It’s not going to become law.” . . .

“The problem was, by paying people more not to work than to work, it’s making it difficult to get people back to work,” he explained. “You can understand that. We do need to continue unemployment insurance. It’s extremely important at a time like this. But to pay people more not to work than to work doesn’t encourage resuming your job. And that will end in July. And we think that, in order to create jobs, we need to incentivize people to go back to work, not encourage them to stay home.” (Read more from “McConnell: Dems Trying to ‘Incentivize’ Unemployment in Latest Coronavirus Relief Bill” HERE)

Nancy Pelosi Fat Shames President Trump; Trump’s Physician Explains Hydroxychloroquine Decision

By Breitbart. . .Host Anderson Cooper asked, “Madam Speaker, what is your reaction to the president saying he is now taking hydroxychloroquine? Are you concerned?”

Pelosi said, “As far as the president is concerned, he’s our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group — morbidly obese they say.” (Read more from “Nancy Pelosi Fat Shames President Trump” HERE)

Trump’s Physician Explains Hydroxychloroquine Decision

By Axios. President Trump’s physician said in a statement Monday it was decided hydroxychloroquine could be beneficial to him after a White House staffer tested positive for the coronavirus.

. . .Trump said earlier Monday that he’s been taking the antimalarial drug and a zinc supplement for “about a week and a half” as a preventative measure against the coronavirus. The FDA issued a warning last month that the drug should only be taken in hospitals because of the risk of heart complications as its effectiveness against COVID-19 is unproven.

“After numerous discussions he and I had regarding the evidence for and against the use of hydroxychloroquine, we concluded the potential benefit from treatment outweighed the relative risks,” physician Sean Connely said. Trump Says He’s Taking Hydroxychloroquine to Prevent COVID-19

By NBC News. President Donald Trump said Monday that he has been taking hydroxychloroquine, an unproven treatment for COVID-19 that he has vigorously promoted.

“A lot of good things have come out about the hydroxy. A lot of good things have come out. You’d be surprised at how many people are taking it, especially the front-line workers — before you catch it,” Trump said at the White House. “I happen to be taking it. I happen to be taking it. … I’m taking it — hydroxychloroquine — right now.”

Trump said that he doesn’t believe he was exposed to the virus but that he decided to take the drug after having consulted with the White House physician. He also claimed that essential workers, including doctors and nurses, were taking the drug to prevent contracting the disease caused by the coronavirus. . .

A White House official familiar with the president’s decision told NBC News that Trump started taking the drug after his valet tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month. The president said at the time that he had “very little contact” with the valet, but the White House official said Trump discussed taking hydroxychloroquine with his doctor and weighed the risks before deciding to take it.
