WH Responds to Illegal Alien Invasion by Blaming Trump

The Biden administration has responded to the viral video showing a large group of illegal immigrants charging Texas National Guard troops at the U.S. southern border on Thursday, telling The Daily Caller that former President Donald Trump is to blame for the “chaos.”

Video captured by The New York Post showed dozens of migrants overrunning National Guard troops who were stationed at the border in El Paso, Texas. The Post reported that around 600 migrants were illegally trying to enter the U.S. when the group of what appeared to be all men broke through razor wire and began shoving the soldiers. . .

“When the former President told Congressional Republicans to block the bipartisan border security agreement – he said to blame him for it. Well he got his wish, and the result was chaos after Governor Abbott’s Operational Lone Star and razorwire were overrun yesterday,” the statement added. “While we cannot comment on individual cases, anyone who does not have a legal basis to remain in the United States is promptly removed.”

Last month, House Republicans rejected a bill pushed by President Joe Biden and approved by the Senate that aimed to address certain border security issues. The Republicans’ rejection of the legislation came after Trump said “Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat” would vote for the bill. Liz Cheney, January 6 Committee Suppressed Exonerating Evidence of Trump’s Push for National Guard

Former Rep. Liz Cheney’s January 6 Committee suppressed evidence that President Donald Trump pushed for 10,000 National Guard troops to protect the nation’s capital, a previously hidden transcript obtained by The Federalist shows.

Cheney and her committee falsely claimed they had “no evidence” to support Trump officials’ claims the White House had communicated its desire for 10,000 National Guard troops. In fact, an early transcribed interview conducted by the committee included precisely that evidence from a key source. The interview, which Cheney attended and personally participated in, was suppressed from public release until now.

Deputy Chief of Staff Anthony Ornato’s first transcribed interview with the committee was conducted on January 28, 2022. In it, he told Cheney and her investigators that he overheard White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows push Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser to request as many National Guard troops as she needed to protect the city.

He also testified President Trump had suggested 10,000 would be needed to keep the peace at the public rallies and protests scheduled for January 6, 2021. Ornato also described White House frustration with Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller’s slow deployment of assistance on the afternoon of January 6, 2021.

Not only did the committee not accurately characterize the interview, they suppressed the transcript from public review. On top of that, committee allies began publishing critical stories and even conspiracy theories about Ornato ahead of follow-up interviews with him. Ornato was a career Secret Service official who had been detailed to the security position in the White House. New York to Deploy National Guard to Subway

The state of New York is sending the National Guard, State Police, and MTA cops into New York City subways, so commuters “feel safe” amid a leadership failure by the mayor that has devastated the city.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) announced Wednesday that she would deploy state law enforcement to the Big Apple subway network, as well as “teams of mental health workers,” to “help commuters and visitors to the city feel safe,” according to the New York Times.

The Times reports:

Additional law enforcement officers would add to an already large presence in the subways, where Mayor Eric Adams ordered an additional 1,000 officers in February following a 45 percent spike in major crimes in January compared with the same time last year.

Grand larcenies — thefts without the use of force — were a main driver of the January spike in crime, according to the police. Grand larcenies are defined by the police as major crimes, along with homicides, assaults and robberies.

Hochul is sending 1,000 members of State Police, National Guard, and MTA cops, ostensibly to conduct “bag checks.” It is unclear how that plan will be executed on the service that sees upward of three million riders per day. (Read more from “New York to Deploy National Guard to Subway” HERE)

Pentagon Leak Suspect Searched for One Particular Term in Classified Network

The suspect facing charges of leaking U.S. military intelligence documents searched classified intelligence reporting for the word “leak” after the story broke.

Jack Teixeira, the 21-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guardsman accused of leaking documents the Department of Defense says contain “sensitive and highly-classified material,” was charged Friday with unauthorized retention and transmission of national defense information and willful retention of classified documents.

According to an FBI affidavit, Teixeira used his government computer to search for the word “leak” not long after news about the disclosures first broke.

“According to a second U.S. Government Agency, which can monitor certain searches conducted on its classified networks, on April 6, 2023, TEIXEIRA used his government computer to search classified intelligence reporting for the word ‘leak,'” the affidavit reads. “The first public reporting regarding the Government Information appeared on or around April 6, 2023.”

Military’s Vaccine Mandate Turning Off Potential New Applicants Amid Recruitment Struggles: Former Army Recruiter

Army National Guard soldiers are reportedly leaving at a faster rate than they are enlisting for service. According to officials, over 7,500 have retired or left the Guard this past fiscal year. Maj. Gen. Rich Baldwin, chief of staff of the Army National Guard, told The Associated Press that current challenges to staffing are the worst he’s seen in the two decades.

Regarding the military’s recruiting woes, Corporal Rolando Martin, a national guardsman who has served in the Army for over 17 years, said while that many have focused on active-duty personnel, the National Guard is also suffering. He currently serves with the Florida National Guard, and emphasized that his views do not reflect the views of the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Department of the Army.

“Even though Governor DeSantis is in charge, [the Florida National Guard] is financed by the federal government, so they still have to follow everything the active duty does,” Martin told The Epoch Times. And as a result, he said, he has no doubt that recruiting and retention shortfalls will continue to occur not only within active-duty service, but in the Army Reserves and National Guard as well.

In June, Martin was informed that he would be discharged from the Army for having not taken the COVID-19 vaccine. Like thousands of others to date, his request for religious exemption did not get approved. D.C. Mayor Begs for National Guard Help With Illegal Alien ‘Crisis’

Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has formally renewed her bid to get National Guard help for the “critical” flood of border-crossers being shipped in by fed-up officials in Arizona and Texas.

Bowser wrote to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Thursday, almost a week after the Pentagon denied her initial plea for help with the mass arrivals, which are now also streaming into the Big Apple.

She again begged for support “to help prevent a prolonged humanitarian crisis in our nation’s capital resulting from the daily arrival of migrants in need of assistance.”

“We need help from our federal partners as we seek to stabilize and manage our operating environment in this critical moment,” she wrote.

The Texas National Guardsman Who Presumably Drowned Has Been Identified

The National Guardsman who jumped into the Rio Grande on Friday to save two illegal immigrants and then went missing, has been identified. Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin first published the photos from the soldier’s family Sunday afternoon.

Evans removed his gear before jumping in to save the illegal immigrants, who turned out to be part of a Mexican drug cartel and trafficking operation.

National Guard Soldier Feared Dead Trying to Save Illegal Aliens

A Texas National Guard soldier was feared dead Friday after attempting to rescue illegal migrants from a river along the border of Mexico.

“A Texas Army National Guard Soldier assigned to Operation Lone Star has gone missing along the river during a mission related incident, Friday April 22, 2022 in Eagle Pass, Texas. The Soldier has not been found,” a statement from the department read.

“We are aware of reports of a fatality, although those reports are inaccurate. The Texas Military Department, Texas DPS and Border Patrol are working rapidly to find the Soldier. More details will be released as they become available.”

Sources have told Fox News that a body of a migrant was recovered and that officials are treating the search for the soldier as a drowning — using dive teams in the river. Fox reported that his radio and body armor removed before he went into the water were found nearby.

California Army National Guard Commander on Ukraine: We Must Stand Ready

The California Army National Guard commander on Sunday sent a memorandum to soldiers serving in the California Army National Guard — which is partnered with Ukrainian forces under the State Partnership Program — asking them to “stand ready.”

The subject of the memorandum, obtained by Breitbart News, and issued by Army Maj. Gen. Laura L. Yeager, was “Letter to the Field — Ukraine.”

National Guard Faces off With Pentagon Over Vaccine Mandate

The Oklahoma National Guard is facing off against the Biden Pentagon over its vaccine mandate for service members.

The Oklahoma Adjutant General, Brig. Gen. Tommy Mancino, issued a memo last week at the request of Gov. Kevin Stitt that said the state would take “no negative administrative or legal action” against Guard members who decline to take the vaccine, despite a mandatory order to do so by the Pentagon.

National Guard members fall under Title 32 state authorities and take orders from the state governor unless they are activated under Title 10 federal authorities and take orders from the president or his designated authority.

Mancino said that Oklahoma National Guard members would have to follow the governor’s lawful orders while on Title 32 activation.

“Failing to follow the Governor’s lawful orders while on Title 32 would be both illegal, unethical, and against our sworn oaths,” he said in a recent interview with Stars & Stripes. (Read more from “National Guard Faces off With Pentagon Over Vaccine Mandate” HERE)
