Establishment-Hack Nikki Haley Calls for Some Interesting Policies in 2024 Announcement

The newest contender in the 2024 presidential contest Nikki Haley — former U.N. ambassador and the 116th governor of South Carolina — kicked off her campaign on Wednesday morning with a speech in Charleston.

“It’s a great day in South Carolina!” Haley declared after taking the podium as “Eye of the Tiger” played. “We’re ready — ready to move past the stale ideas and faded names of the past and we are more than ready for a new generation to lead us into the future.” . . .

“In the America I see, every child gets a world class education because every parent gets to pick their child’s school,” Haley said in outlining some of her key priorities. “And no politician will be able to close those schools ever again.”

Haley continued saying her plans will mean “police know we have their backs and criminals know we have their number,” “having a real border and mandatory e-verify like we got done in South Carolina,” “voter ID will be the law of the land,” plus “term limits for Congress and mandatory mental competency tests for politicians over 75 years old.”

“I see a strong America because I see a proud America,” Haley continued of her plans. “Strong and proud, not weak and woke.” In this America Haley hopes to build and lead, the United States “will win the fight for the 21st century,” she explained. “The armed forces of the United States will be stronger and more capable than ever,” Haley continued before invoking Reagan’s peace-through-strength philosophy. “A strong military doesn’t start wars, a strong military prevents wars.” (Read more from “Nikki Haley Calls for Some Interesting Policies in 2024 Announcement” HERE)

Nikki Haley Announces 2024 Presidential Bid

Nikki Haley, a former governor of South Carolina and United Nations ambassador, announced Tuesday she was entering the 2024 presidential race, making her the first Republican to challenge her former boss and ex-President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination.

Haley, 51, dug into the difference in ages between 80-year-old President Joe Biden and her challenger Trump, who’s 76. While Biden hasn’t formally announced his candidacy, he’s expected to do so in the coming weeks.

“Republicans have lost the popular vote in seven out of the last eight presidential elections. That has to change,” Haley said in a video posted to her Twitter account. She called for a new generation of leaders, saying Biden’s record was “abysmal” and that the “Washington establishment has failed us over and over and over again.”

In announcing her run a day before she’s scheduled a formal campaign launch in Charleston, South Carolina, Haley called for fiscal responsibility and secured borders.

Nikki Haley to Hit Trump on Age Issue, Say Its Time for a New Generation of GOP Leaders

After Donald Trump called 2024 soon-to-be presidential rival Nikki Haley “overly ambitious,” she took to Twitter to revive a proposal she floated over a year ago that every person serving in public office be required to take a cognitive test.

Her message was clear: It’s time for the GOP to move beyond the creaky old leadership that’s left it struggling for victories over the last three national elections.

Ms. Haley, 51, wants to lead that shift to a new generation but first, she’ll have to topple her former boss, the 76-year-old Mr. Trump, whom she served as ambassador to the U.N. and who remains the fundamental force in Republican politics.

She first broached the idea of a cognitive test in 2021 and reminded voters of her call in the wake of Mr. Trump’s dismissive affront, posting on Twitter a link to her 2021 proposal.

“We seriously need to have a conversation that if you’re gonna have anyone above a certain age in a position of power — whether it’s the House, whether it’s the Senate, whether it’s vice president, whether it’s president — you should have some sort of cognitive test,” she said. “This shouldn’t be partisan. We should seriously be looking at the ages of the people that are running our country and understand if that’s what we want.” (Read more from “Nikki Haley to Hit Trump on Age Issue, Say Its Time for a New Generation of GOP Leaders” HERE)

Did Tucker Carlson Deal A Death Blow To Nikki Haley’s Presidential Hopes? (VIDEO)

Daily Caller co-founder and Fox News host Tucker Carlson may have dealt a death blow to former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley’s presidential hopes Friday in Iowa.

Tucker first made the statements about Haley during his keynote speech at the Family Leadership Summit in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday night.

“We spoke about some of the politicians who should not be running the country. We were pretty specific about it,” Tucker reiterated on his Monday night show, a clip of which was shared on Twitter.

“I’ll never forget it as long as I live,” Tucker told the audience in Iowa, before quoting Haley’s statements after George Floyd’s death and the subsequent riots that overtook many American cities in 2020. “And then she said, ‘in order for healing to occur, what happens next must be personal and painful for everyone.’” (Read more from “Did Tucker Carlson Deal a Death Blow to Nikki Haley’s Presidential Hopes?” HERE)

‘Hillary Clinton Levels of Cringe’: Nikki Haley Refers to Next President as ‘Her’

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley hinted at launching a presidential campaign on Monday, referring to the next president as “her” during a speech at the Christians United for Israel summit held just outside Washington D.C.

While speaking about President Joe Biden potentially entering a revamped Iran nuclear deal, Haley told the crowd, “and if this president signs any sort of deal, I’ll make you a promise. The next President will shred it – on her first day in office.”

Although Haley did not officially launch a presidential bid, her use of the female pronoun prompted speculation from many political pundits that she was referring to herself as the next president.

Former Trump White House aide Steven Cheung said Haley’s comments were “Hillary Clinton levels of cringe.”

Nikki Haley Makes an Announcement About Her Presidential Prospects

Former United Nations (UN) Ambassador Nikki Haley made an announcement about her potential presidential run, during an appearance in South Carolina on Monday. The former Trump administration official and former Governor of South Carolina said that she would not launch a presidential campaign if the former president himself were to run for the White House again. Haley said that she would throw her support behind Trump if he ultimately decides to launch a third bid for the presidency.

“I would not run if President Trump ran, and I would talk to him about it,” Haley told reporters. “That’s something that we will have a conversation about, at some point.”

Establishment-Hack Nikki Haley Turns on Trump, as Predicted

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley issued stunning remarks breaking with former President Trump, telling Politico in an interview published Friday that she believes he “let us down.”

“We need to acknowledge he let us down,” Haley, who served in her ambassador role under Trump, said. “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.” . . .

“When I tell you I’m angry, it’s an understatement,” Haley said. “I am so disappointed in the fact that [despite] the loyalty and friendship he had with Mike Pence, that he would do that to him. Like, I’m disgusted by it.”

Haley said that the president “believes he is following” his oath of office by challenging the election results, adding, “There’s nothing that you’re ever going to do that’s going to make him feel like he legitimately lost the election.” (Read more from “Establishment-Hack Nikki Haley Turns on Trump, as Predicted” HERE)

Trump’s Top Pick to Replace Nikki Haley

State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert is currently at the top of President Donald Trump’s list of potential nominees to replace outgoing U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, a source familiar with his thinking tells The Daily Caller.

Nauert has served as spokeswoman for the State Department since April 2017 and assumed the official position of under-secretary for public diplomacy after the departure of former secretary Mike Pompeo. She previously served as a journalist for Fox News and has caught the president’s attention with her public appearances.

Nauert was also seen as a top contender to replace White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders if she were to leave. The source cautioned TheDC that Trump’s mind was not fully made up yet and that he still could pick another choice, although he has said he wants to choose a woman for the position. Nauert’s leading candidacy was also reported by CNN. (Read more from “Trump’s Top Pick to Replace Nikki Haley” HERE)

Nikki Haley Resigns as UN Ambassador

Nikki Haley has resigned as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Her replacement will have big shoes to fill. Haley fundamentally transformed the U.N. ambassador post while simultaneously securing major geopolitical victories for the United States. She was a widely renowned official in the Trump administration, achieving almost unanimous recognition from conservatives and moderates alike.

In an announcement in the Oval Office Tuesday morning, President Trump confirmed that Ambassador Haley has resigned her post and will be leaving at the end of the year.

During her tenure as U.N. ambassador, Haley oversaw several major U.S. policy shifts. Having developed a reputation for her aggressive, vocal, and passionate defense of the U.S. and its allies, Haley delivered several major victories for U.S. interests.

Ambassador Haley was never afraid to call out China for its hostile behavior. She slammed Russia for empowering the Syrian dictatorship with chemical weapons. She called attention to North Korea’s nuclear ambitions. And Haley took the Iranian regime to task for its worldwide funding and assistance of terrorist groups.

Haley led the fight to end U.S. membership in and funding for the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), a U.N. body with a membership roster of authoritarian nations and Islamic supremacist regimes.

She succeeded in cutting off funding for UNRWA, the U.N. Palestinian refugee body, which has promoted the destruction of Israel and helped to perpetuate Arab-Israeli hostilities.

A staunch defender of the Jewish state, Haley was also a major proponent of moving the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Israel’s capital city.

Haley acted as a fiercely independent branch of the Trump administration, which sometimes raised red flags in Washington. In September, she wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post condemning her anonymous colleague’s high-profile New York Times piece earlier that week bashing the president. In her Washington Post op-ed, Haley claimed that when she challenges the president, she does it “directly.” This reportedly caused some resentment in the White House, but it’s unclear whether it was the reason for her departure.

Nikki Haley will go down as arguably the most prolific and effective U.S. ambassador to the United Nations ever. She achieved a unique combination of victories. She was perhaps best known for rhetorically taking American adversaries to the woodshed, but Haley also secured major diplomatic and policy victories behind the scenes. Her unapologetic defense of America and its allies was coupled with her ability to effect real, lasting change at the U.N. Nikki Haley Just Revealed What Happened After UN Members Laughed at Trump

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said the news media completely missed or misrepresented what happened when members of the U.N. General Assembly laughed at one point during President Donald Trump’s address to the body Tuesday.

Shortly into his remarks, Trump said, “In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country.”

Laughter could be heard in the audience, prompting the president to say, “Didn’t expect that reaction, but that’s OK,” which drew laughter and applause from the U.N. crowd.

Ainsley Earhardt, host of Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” asked Haley about the moment during Wednesday’s show.

“I know you were in the room when the laugh happened,” Earhardt said. “Sometimes the media can portray it as one thing and it’s not that at all. What was it like and why that reaction?”

“The media’s got this so wrong,” Haley responded. “I deal with these leaders every single day. I know exactly how they think.”

The ambassador explained the world leaders at the U.N. do not love America, but they respect the U.S. since Trump has become president.

“When he said that, they love how honest he is,” Haley said. “It’s not diplomatic and they find it funny. I mean, when he goes and he is very truthful, they kind of were taken back by it. …

“All day yesterday, they were falling over themselves to get a picture with him, to talk about how great his speech was, how strong it was. Whether he said good things about them or not, they love that he’s honest with them, and they’ve never seen anything like it, and so there’s a respect there.”

The ambassador further observed, “I saw that the media was trying to make it something disrespectful. That’s not what it was — they love to be with him.”

During his address, Trump listed accomplishments of his administration, including a booming economy, with the highest stock market in U.S. history and the lowest jobless claims numbers in 50 years, and the rebuilding of the nation’s defenses.

“In other words, the United States is stronger, safer and a richer country than it was when I assumed office less than two years ago,” the president said. “We are standing up for America and for the American people, and we are also standing up for the world.”

Trump went on to argue for the importance of national sovereignty over global governing structures.

“That is why America will always choose independence and cooperation over global governance, control and domination,” he said.

The president cited multiple instances in which the U.S. is working with other nations with the intent to make the world a safer, more prosperous place.

These include efforts to denuclearize the Korean peninsula and normalize relations between North and South, as well as working with Middle East nations to end the civil wars in Yemen and Syria.

The commander in chief also outlined initiatives his administration has taken to address the threats posed by Iran to the stability of the region and the world.

“The United States has launched a campaign of economic pressure to deny the regime the funds it needs to advance its bloody agenda,” he said. “Last month, we began reimposing hard-hitting nuclear sanctions that had been lifted under the Iran deal. … And we’re working with countries that import Iranian crude oil to cut their purchases substantially.

“We cannot allow the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism to possess the planet’s most dangerous weapons. We cannot allow a regime that chants ‘Death to America’ and that threatens Israel with annihilation to possess the means to deliver a nuclear warhead to any city on Earth. Just can’t do it.” (For more from the author of “Nikki Haley Just Revealed What Happened After UN Members Laughed at Trump” please click HERE)
