The driver who struck a policeman at a Manhattan crime scene told authorities it was intentional, adding, “F–k these cops, it’s a lesson to him,’’ sources said Friday — with the mow-down caught on shocking video.

Sahara Dula — a 24-year-old Brooklynite whose lawyer said mentors kids to stay off drugs — was driving her black Lexus the wrong way on the Upper East Side while high on marijuana Wednesday when she barreled into the NYPD officer, officials and sources said.

“I told the cop I wanted to go straight, and he wouldn’t move, so I hit him. I did it on purpose,’’ Dula later told investigators, according to court papers.

“F–k these cops! He wouldn’t move!’’ she screamed a few minutes after the incident, the documents claim —with a source saying Dula added, “F–k these cops, it’s a lesson to him, and hopefully he doesn’t want to be a cop anymore.”

Footage posted on X late Thursday shows Dula, a college criminal justice graduate and former doorman, driving her vehicle the wrong way on Park Avenue near East 71st Street around 4:30 p.m.

Pro-Palestinian Protests Attempt to Derail Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

On Wednesday, hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed the streets surrounding Rockefeller Center, clashing with NYPD officers and attempting to derail the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony in support of Gaza. The incident unfolded along Sixth Avenue, where ralliers, waving Palestinian flags and carrying signs calling for the “end to genocide,” gathered alongside tourists waiting for the iconic ceremony.

The protesters, chanting “river to the sea,” a slogan often criticized as antisemitic, aimed to disrupt the festivities in line with their plans announced earlier in the week. The demonstration coincided with the UN-recognized International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, adding a political dimension to the holiday tradition.

Despite NYPD’s efforts to maintain control, the situation escalated as protesters confronted officers, referring to them as “f–king Nazis.” Attempts were made to knock down barricades, and additional police units were called in as law enforcement sources reported attacks on officers. Some protesters were taken into custody, though specific charges remain unclear.

The crowd, unable to reach the NYC Christmas tree, redirected their protest around the News Corp building, housing The Post and Fox News, which had been targeted by pro-Palestinian protesters on previous occasions. One protester climbed on a pillar, and another displayed a sign bearing a swastika, comparing the Israel Defense Forces to German Nazis.

Tourists, eager to witness the annual tradition, expressed frustration at the disruption. Some condemned the protest as embarrassing, while others commended the NYPD for maintaining control despite verbal abuse.

The NYPD had anticipated potential disruptions, implementing a high-security presence for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Despite the chaos, the 91st annual ceremony proceeded without significant issues. The unusually rowdy protest dissipated after an hour, transitioning into a march through Manhattan towards Times Square, where protesters shouted, “Shut it down.”

NYC Bracing for Unrest After Trump Calls for Protests Over Possible Arrest, Indictment

The NYPD and US Secret Service are huddling to prep for Donald Trump’s possible indictment in Manhattan after the former president said he expected to be arrested this week and told supporters to protest, sources told The Post.

The FBI, state court officers and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office have also been kept in the loop on security discussions, with the Big Apple bracing for the worst after Trump, 76, urged his followers to “take our nation back” in light of his looming indictment, police sources said.

“We will use all of our available resources,” one NYPD source said Sunday, noting that the department’s Strategic Response Group — which responds to civil unrest and major events — “has a role in this agency and when needed they will be called in.”

Former NYPD Commissioner Says Democrats May Try to Orchestrate Trump’s ‘Assassination’ After FBI Raid; Trump Disqualified From Holding Office?

By Mediaite. Former NYPD commissioner Bernard Kerik said Monday he is worried Democrats might try to assassinate former President Donald Trump. . .

The Department of Justice has not commented publicly on the raid, but Kerik claimed on Newsmax TV he is afraid for Trump’s life.

Kerik joined The Balance with host Eric Bolling, where he said he feels Trump is in grave danger – not only from politically-motivated prosecution – but from the threat of death. He said:

If you remember back in 2016, right before he got elected, I was in Washington D.C. I was at a couple of different social events, and I hear people talking, they said the Democrats want this guy so bad that they wouldn’t put assassination behind it. And I’m gonna tell you something. they’ve tried impeachment, they’ve tried another impeachment, they’ve tried one investigation after another.

This is about one thing: this is about stopping him from running in 2024. And I’m gonna tell you something, I’m not into conspiracies, I’m not into anti-government rhetoric. This is the first time in my lifetime that I would say I am deathly afraid for Donald Trump. I would not put assassination behind these people.

Trump Disqualified From Holding Office? Clinton-Linked Lawyer Points to US Code After FBI Raid

By Washington Examiner. With news of the FBI raiding Mar-a-Lago, buzz quickly bubbled up Monday evening about whether former President Donald Trump could be disqualified from holding office again.

The FBI search of the Florida resort was related to Trump’s handling of presidential records, including classified documents, after leaving office, sources told CNN. The search warrant was connected to the National Archives, a senior government official told NBC News.

Such reporting had Marc Elias, the top lawyer for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign who has drawn scrutiny for his role in pushing Trump-Russia collusion claims, pointing to U.S. Code Title 18, Section 2071. “The media is missing the really, really big reason why the raid today is a potential blockbuster in American politics,” Elias said in a tweet.

The first subsection says: “Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.” (Read more from “Trump Disqualified From Holding Office? As first responders, family, friends, and New Yorkers gathered at St. Patrick’s Cathedral to say goodbye to fallen NYPD Officer Jason Rivera on Friday, his young widow delivered a heart-wrenching and powerful tribute to her 22-year-old husband who was shot and killed — along with his partner Wilbert Mora — in the line of duty last week.

“I would say good morning to you all, but in fact it’s the worst morning ever,” Dominique Luzuriaga began. “All of this seems so unreal, like I’m having one of those nightmares you never thought you’d have,” she remarked.

“Jason is so happy right now that all of you are here, through pain and sorrow, this is exactly how he would have wanted to be remembered: like a true hero — or like I used to call him, ‘Big P.O. Rivera.'” his widow told the packed cathedral and overflow crowd standing outside in the snow.

“You have the whole nation on gridlock,” Luzuriaga said of her late husband. “And although you won’t be here anymore, I want you to live through me,” she said. “The system continues to fail us. We are not safe anymore, not even the members of the service. I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new DA,” Rivera’s widow said of new Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. “I hope he’s watching you speak through me right now,” she said to thunderous applause as those gathered to remember Rivera stood in solidarity against District Attorney Bragg’s new policies.

“I’m sure all of our blue family is tired too. But I promise — we promise — that your death won’t be in vain. I love you to the end of time,” Rivera’s widow said. “We’ll take the watch from here.”

State Trooper Banished by Cuomo Amid Dating Daughter Set to Be Promoted

State trooper Dane Pfeiffer — the love interest of one of disgraced ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s daughters who was a member of his security detail before the disapproving dad banished him to the Canadian border — is being promoted to sergeant and sent to New York City, The Post has learned.

Pfeiffer’s elevation in the ranks of the New York State Police will take effect on Thanksgiving Day as the jobless former chief executive continues facing the fallout for a myriad of documented misdeeds.

“Effective 11/25, Dane Pfeiffer will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and transferred to Troop NYC. This was the result of a competitive exam,” a state police source familiar with the process told The Post on Wednesday. . .

In October 2020, The Post exclusively reported Cuomo requested that Pfeiffer, 36, be transferred from his security detail after he found out about his romance with Cara Kennedy Cuomo, his then-25-year-old daughter. NYC Mayoral Candidate Wants to Defund NYPD — While Her Home Is Protected by Private Security Patrol

Democratic mayoral candidate Maya Wiley wants to cut $1 billion from the NYPD’s budget — at the same time her home is being protected by a private security patrol in her Brooklyn neighborhood.

Wiley — who on Sunday clashed with rival Eric Adams over her plan to defund the police if elected — claimed in December that she thought the private security was “ridiculous and we shouldn’t have it.”

But she said her life partner, Harlan Mandel, began paying the annual fees without her knowledge to the Prospect Park South Charitable Trust to fund a guard who drives around the area.

An outraged NYPD source called Wiley’s stance regarding the police budget “asinine” and accused her of “pandering for votes.”

NYPD Commander Commits Suicide Inside Department Vehicle

An NYPD precinct commander fatally shot himself in the head inside a department vehicle near Kissena Park on Monday, police sources told The Post.

The deputy inspector, who was not immediately identified, had earlier made a call to family members that led them to believe he was suicidal, sources said.

Cops tried to locate his phone, but he had already pulled the trigger by the time they got to the vehicle on Underhill Avenue near the Brooklyn-Queens Greenway, the sources said.
