Fears of Mysterious Beast Spread in Ohio after Locals Record Eerie Howls, Enormous Footprints: ‘I know what I saw’

. . .Ohioans are battening down the hatches as locals fear a not-so-friendly neighborhood Sasquatch is making a comeback after a half-century of silence — with a new brood in tow.

Northeast Ohio, the gloomiest corner of the Buckeye State, has been ripe with Bigfoot sightings since March. Some residents suspect a whole family of Sasquatches is moving into the region after a particularly brutal winter, Fox 8 reported.

Many anonymous witnesses shared pictures of hulking footprints scattered primarily between Akron and Youngstown in Portage County. Most of the prints are an estimated 17 inches in length—which can only match a creature that is at least 7-feet tall or more.

Believers who were brave enough to take their findings to the media described a creature between 6 and 10 feet tall completely covered in dark fur, the outlet reported.

Mike Miller, the co-founder of the Ohio Nightstalkers Bigfoot Research Group, is leading the charge on the ground.

This isn’t his first rodeo as the emergent expert on all things Sasquatch in Ohio, which ranks fourth in the nation for purported Bigfoot sightings. The last Bigfoot flap, or mass reports of sightings in one area, was in 1978, the outlet reported. Small-Town Mayor Charged After Teen Girl Caught Him Sniffing Her Underwear

A small-town Ohio mayor is facing voyeurism charges after a suspicious teenage girl set up a secret camera and caught him sniffing her dirty underwear, according to police.

Wesley Dingus, the mayor of rural Butler, Ohio, was busted after the girl — a relative in his care — hid a camera in her bedroom last month and allegedly caught him touching himself while smelling her dirty underwear, according to Richland Source.

After police received the creepy footage, they visited the girl at her high school the following day, where she told them that she set up the camera over suspicions that the 48-year-old mayor was going into her bedroom, according to a police report from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

She left her home around 7 a.m. Jan. 13 and got a notification of motion detected in her room just 15 minutes later. When she checked the footage, she saw Dingus enter the room and allegedly smell her undergarments, according to police.

The next day, she received another alert at 7:17 a.m., and the video showed Dingus again going into her room, smelling her worn underwear and “touching his groin area over his clothes,” according to the report. Tearful 911 Call Reported Domestic Dispute at Home of Dentist, Wife, Months Before They Were Found Dead: Report

A woman called 911 to report what dispatchers described as a “domestic dispute” at the home of a beloved Ohio dentist and his wife months before the couple was found shot dead, according to a report.

Spencer Tepe, 37, and his wife, Monique, 39, were shot dead sometime between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Dec. 30 in the upstairs of their residence — as their two children and dog remained unharmed inside, cops said.

An unknown woman called 911 around 2:45 a.m. on April 15 at the same Weinland Park address where the Tepe family lived, according to dispatch audio obtained by Fox News Digital.

The woman hung up while calling authorities, prompting an operator to call her back to make sure she no longer needed help, the audio clip showed. . .

Tepe, who worked at the Athens Dental Depot, was found with multiple gunshot wounds, and Monique suffered at least one shot to the chest, according to police records.

The Tepes were found dead after coworkers grew concerned when Spencer didn’t show up for work on the morning of Dec. 30. (Read more from “Tearful 911 Call Reported Domestic Dispute at Home of Dentist, Wife, Months Before They Were Found Dead: Report” HERE)

Trump Admin Takes Bold Action to Help East Palestine Residents After Biden Neglect

Vice President JD Vance announced on Thursday that the Trump administration is launching a program aimed at studying the long-term health impacts of the chemical spill in East Palestine, Ohio.

In February 2023, a Norfolk Southern freight train derailed in East Palestine. The train was carrying hazardous materials when it derailed and crashed. The train cars burned for days, releasing toxins into the air and spilling across the community.

Shortly after, residents in the area reported different health concerns, presumably as a result of the train derailment.

“What happened then is that people got very worried…they’re very worried about what are the long-term impacts of these chemicals in the water, in the air. What effect does it have on their kids and grandkids after five years, 10 years, 15 years of exposure?” Vance said in a video posted to X.

“As much as I tried as a United States senator to work with the Biden administration, they refused to do anything to actually study the effects of these long-term exposures on the people of East Palestine,” Vance added.

Woman Freezes to Death While Letting Dog Outside

An Ohio woman reportedly froze to death overnight in her yard while letting her dog outside this week.

Deputies with the Huron County Sheriff’s Office found 43-year-old Eugenia Michele Wadman dead in her yard after responding to a 911 call just before 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, according to a report by WKYC.

The emergency call reported an unresponsive person at an address on Hanville Corners Road in Willard, Ohio — located in Huron County — approximately 60 miles southwest of Cleveland.

Authorities said Wadman apparently fell on snow and ice in her yard while she took her dog outside during the night “wearing only light pajamas.”

The 43-year-old woman “appeared to have fallen and sustained injuries consistent with struggling and crawling on the snow- and ice-covered yard,” the sheriff’s office said. (Read more from “Woman Freezes to Death While Letting Dog Outside” HERE)

Court: Safeguards Barring Foreign Money in Ohio Ballot Campaigns Can Take Effect for 2024 Election

An Ohio law prohibiting the use and acceptance of foreign money in state ballot initiative campaigns can take effect for the 2024 election, a federal appellate court ruled Tuesday.

Writing on behalf of the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, Judge Amul Thapar granted an emergency request by Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose and Attorney General David Yost to place a stay on an August district court injunction that prevented the law from being enacted. The district judge overseeing the case argued the statute’s definition of “foreign nationals” is “likely unconstitutional,” adding these individuals “have political speech rights” covered by the First Amendment.

The appellate court issued a temporary stay on that injunction last month while it considered the merits of the case.

“Because our initial review suggests that the district court’s First Amendment analysis was flawed, we now grant Ohio’s motion for a stay of the district court’s order,” Thapar wrote.

Thapar was joined in his majority opinion by Judge David McKeague. The dissent was authored by Judge Stephanie Davis. (Read more from “Court: Safeguards Barring Foreign Money in Ohio Ballot Campaigns Can Take Effect for 2024 Election” HERE)

Shoplifting and Vehicle Thefts Soared as Haitian Migrants Poured Into Ohio Town, Police Data Shows

Reports of shoplifting and vehicle theft increased considerably in Springfield, Ohio, following the arrival of thousands of Haitian refugees, according to data obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation through a records request.

The town, which had a population of 58,622 in 2020, has taken in between 12,000 and 20,000 Haitian refugees over the past three years, marking a population increase of between 20.4% and 34.1%. From 2021 to 2023, Springfield also saw a 51.5% jump in motor vehicle theft reports and a 112.8% spike in reports of shoplifting, data provided by the Springfield Police Division shows.

Springfield residents previously told the DCNF that the influx of Haitians has resulted in an uptick in car accidents, increased housing prices and strained public services. Bryan Heck, Springfield’s city manager, sent a letter to Democratic Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown, Republican Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance and Republican South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott in July requesting federal assistance to deal with the pressure migrants had placed on the housing supply.

Inhabitants of the town also told the DCNF that they had observed Haitians engaging in sex acts and other vices in public. The DCNF was unable to verify claims made by the town’s residents about Haitians engaging in public debauchery. Influx of Wild-Driving Haitian Migrants Turning Streets of Springfield, Ohio Into Combat Zone: ‘Eight to 10 Accidents a Day Here’

Forget about the ducks and geese allegedly disappearing from public parks. In this beleaguered city, residents say the biggest problem, by far, is that wild-driving Haitian migrants — unfamiliar with US road laws — are turning the streets into combat zones.

And the result can be deadly. The family of Springfield grandma Kathy Heaton experienced this firsthand on Dec. 1 — a day after her 71st birthday — when a Haitian migrant ran her down while she was collecting her garbage cans.

And the driver got off scot-free. . .

Kathy was struck so violently that both her socks were left behind on the pavement as her body was thrown across the street. Debris littered the roadway, and clumps of hair were found in the car’s cracked windshield, according to the police report.

But three days later, prosecutors decided that the driver of the car that hit her – 38-year-old Robenson Louis – wouldn’t face charges, even though Mandy said he was driving with expired license plates.
