Girls Leave Podium When Forced to Share With Trans Athlete at State Championship

A pair of girls’ track and field athletes did not stand on the medal podium alongside a transgender athlete for high jump at the Oregon state championship on Saturday night.

Footage obtained by Fox News Digital showed the two high school seniors, Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School and Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School, step down from their respective spots on the podium next to a trans athlete who represented Ida B. Wells High School.

Eckard, in fourth place, and Anderson, in third, each finished ahead of the trans athlete, who tied for fifth place. But the two females faced the opposite direction as the other competitors received their medals from officials.

The footage then showed an official confront the two young women, and gesture for them to move away. Eckard and Anderson were then seen walking away from the podium and standing off to the side. . .

The trans athlete previously competed in the boys’ category in 2023 and 2024, Fox News Digital previously reported. (Read more from “Girls Leave Podium When Forced to Share With Trans Athlete at State Championship” HERE)

Oregon Health Advisory Board Member Uses ‘They/Them/Turtle’ Pronouns

. . .A member of a state panel advising the director of Oregon’s Health Authority (OHA) made a wild first impression at a meeting by proclaiming, “I use they, them and turtle for my pronouns.”

JD Holt, who also goes by “JD Terrapin” on Facebook, made the declaration with a straight face while introducing themself at a virtual council meeting on Dec. 20.

“Hello everybody, it’s JD. I use they, them and turtle for my pronouns. I’m in the Springfield-Eugene area and I get to be part of the council,” Holt said enthusiastically.

Other members of the Consumer Advisory Council in the meeting were seen blinking and hiding any reaction to the bizarre animal-world identity.

Holt is one of roughly two dozen “consumers” on the OHA’s Consumer Advisory Council (OCAC), which is appointed by OHA Director Dr. Sejal Hathi, who was chosen by Democratic Gov. Tina Kotek. (Read more from “Oregon Health Advisory Board Member Uses ‘They/Them/Turtle’ Pronouns” HERE)

Watchdog To DOJ: Investigate Oregon For Destroying Voter Records

An election integrity legal group is asking President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice to investigate the Oregon secretary of state’s alleged mishandling of records from a leftist voter registration network.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation sued Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read, a Democrat, last month for allegedly destroying records from the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) indicating which voters have been wrongfully removed from the rolls, as The Federalist reported at the time. PILF sent a complaint to Leo Terrell — Trump’s senior counsel to the assistant attorney general for civil rights — on Thursday.

“Oregon officials do not retain monthly alerts from the Electronic Registration Information Center (‘ERIC’) relating to registrants who were previously and inaccurately flagged as deceased,” wrote Logan Churchwell, PILF’s research director, in the complaint that he shared with The Federalist.

ERIC is an elections database that supposedly helps member states clean their voter rolls, but it has close left-wing ties, as The Federalist has reported in the past. In Virginia, the group labeled dead voters “eligible but unregistered.”

ERIC issues “deceased retractions” reports to member states, listing voters the database wrongfully flagged as dead, according to a press release from PILF. The legal group has been requesting “deceased retractions” reports “throughout 2023 and 2024.” (Read more from “Watchdog To DOJ: Investigate Oregon For Destroying Voter Records” HERE)

Disturbing Find Uncovered in Search for Hikers Missing on a Hunt for ‘Bigfoot’

Two men from Portland died searching for Sasquatch during Christmas week, according to officials.

Around 1 a.m. on Christmas Day, Skamania County Communications Center received a report from a family member of two people who were searching for Sasquatch and were missing after they had planned to return home on Dec. 24, according to the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO).

A “flock camera,” also known as a license plate reader, located the men’s car off of Oklahoma Road, near Willard, Washington, SCSO said.

Over three days, search and rescue resources, including more than 60 volunteers, canines, drones and ground search teams and a U.S. Coast Guard air asset searched for the men.

“After a grueling, three-day search over difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions, the 59-year-old male and 37-year-old-male, both from Portland, Oregon, who were reported missing/endangered were located, deceased, in a heavily wooded area of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook. Oregon DMV Busted Allowing People of ‘Unknown Citizenship’ to Register to Vote

The Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles has directed its employees to process the voter registration of those with “unknown citizenship” status, simply requiring that they claim eligibility, The Federalist has learned.

“If you don’t prove that you’re not a U.S. citizen, then you will be asked if you want to self-attest to being a citizen, and they will assist you with registering to vote,” Republican state Rep. Ed Diehl told The Federalist.

Early last month, Democrat Gov. Tina Kotek paused Oregon’s “motor voter” program as the state began a cursory investigation into how the system had registered more than 1,500 potential noncitizens to vote, as The Federalist previously reported.

In response to this discovery, Diehl met with state DMV leaders on Oct. 21. He said the DMV has reverted to only registering voters with a form that relies on attestation to prove citizenship.

“Instead of being optional — a side track basically for voter registration — it’s right now the only way,” Diehl said. (Read more from “Oregon DMV Busted Allowing People of ‘Unknown Citizenship’ to Register to Vote” HERE)

Gerrymandering Democrats Tighten Grasp On Conservative, Rural Oregon

In Central Oregon, horses and Trump flags are more common than electric cars and pride flags. But perhaps not for long.

At least geographically, most of Oregon is similar. A small slice of the state lies west of the Cascade Mountain Range, featuring the expected dreary weather and socialists of Portland. But most of the state lies east of the Cascades, where high desert and plains sprawl for miles, dotted by ranches and sagebrush.

Central Oregon, a historically conservative area, is where the beautiful scenery to the west meets the high desert and rugged independence to the east. But when state Democrats redrew congressional districts in 2021, they gerrymandered Congressional District Five to include part of leftist Portland and much of Central Oregon.

For the first time in recent history, much of Central Oregon will find itself represented by a Democrat. State Rep. Janelle Bynum unseated Republican U.S. Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer, who narrowly won the district in 2022.

Deschutes County, the most populous region of Central Oregon, had gone red in every presidential election since 1964. But in 2020, a shifting population led to Democrats outnumbering Republicans for the first time in the county — and it went blue in both 2020 and 2024. How TikTok Exposed Explosive ‘Pedophile’ Teachers Scandal at Oregon School — And How Administrators Knew About It for Years

Parents and students at an Oregon high school are in a furious uproar after two alleged pedophile teachers were arrested last week on charges they sexually abused on at least nine underage girls — and administrators reportedly knew about the sick allegations for years and did nothing.

One parent at a chaotic school board meeting accused administrators of helping to “groom” victims by failing to report the abuse — and allowing one teacher to stay in his classroom until the day he was arrested.

“You’ve all known about it, and I want to know why,” one outraged student demanded.

St. Helens High School choir teacher Eric Stearns, 46, and recently retired teacher Mark Collins, 64, were arrested Tuesday and accused of a nearly ten-year sex crime spree against teen students, according to authorities.

School officials had received complaints of possible abuse as early as 2019, but they allegedly ignored the red flags and failed to contact law enforcement — and then allowed Stearns to stay in the classroom even when police launched their recent investigation against him, KGW 8 reported. High School Principal Makes Disturbing Announcement to Students on Teacher’s Gender Transition

An Oregon high school principal sent a surprising message to parents about a teacher’s gender transition.

Scott Gragg, the principal of McNary High School in Keizer, recently shared a message from Diesel Technology teacher Tristan Thiel, who announced that she transitioned over the summer and asked the public to accept her new identity.

‘I’m confident that our McNary family will do an amazing job of supporting her in this journey,’ Gragg wrote in the notice to parents and students, obtained by the popular Libs of TikTok X account. . .

Gragg, a former NFL player, went on to share Thiel’s email [he] sent to [his] own students, in which [he] says [he] is ‘happy to announce that I have decided to transition my gender identity from male to female.’

‘This letter is meant to inform students, their parents and guardians that I have decided to return to school identifying as my authentic self, the woman (she, her, miss) I truly am,’ Thiel wrote in the letter shared on social media. Oregon Sees 13th County Vote to Secede, Join Idaho as ‘Greater Idaho’ Gains Steam

Another rural county has voted to break off from blue-state Oregon and join its red-state neighbor by reconfiguring the state border, the latest victory for the grassroots movement called Greater Idaho.

Crook County voters approved by 53-47% the Greater Idaho resolution asking if they want to enter into negotiations to relocate the border, according to unofficial results from Tuesday’s election.

The vote made Crook the thirteenth county to approve the measure, a proposal rooted in frustration with the Democrat-controlled Legislature dominated by Portland and coastal lawmakers with little knowledge or appreciation of the priorities of eastern residents.

Mike McCaw, Greater Idaho executive director, said the “voters of eastern Oregon have spoken loudly and clearly about their desire to see border talks move forward.”

“With this latest result in Crook County, there’s no excuse left for the Legislature and governor to continue to ignore the people’s wishes,” he said. “We call on the governor, speaker of the House, and Senate president to sit down with us and discuss next steps toward changing governance for eastern Oregonians, as well as for the Legislature to begin holding hearings on what a potential border change will look like.”

Report: Dad Accused of Drugging Daughter’s Friends During Sleepover

In a disturbing incident that unfolded during a sleepover last August, a father in northwestern Oregon is facing serious allegations of spiking the smoothies of his daughter’s 12-year-old friends with sedatives. Authorities from the Lake Oswego Police Department (LOPD) revealed the shocking details in a recent press release, shedding light on the disturbing events that transpired at Michael Meyden’s home.

On August 26, 2023, three 12-year-old girls, guests at Meyden’s residence, were rushed to a children’s hospital after exhibiting symptoms of exposure to an “unknown prescription drug.” Following an extensive investigation, LOPD detectives concluded that Michael Meyden, a 57-year-old man, was allegedly responsible for contaminating the girls’ bloodstreams with drugs.

Meyden voluntarily presented himself at the Clackamas County Jail and now faces serious charges, including three counts each of “Causing Another to Ingest a Controlled Substance,” “Application of a Schedule-4 Controlled Substance to Another,” and “Delivery of a Controlled Substance to a Minor,” according to the LOPD.

Detective Nicole Palmeri, who spearheaded the investigation, identified the drug used by Meyden as benzodiazepine, a class of depressants known for producing sedation and hypnosis. The Drug Enforcement Administration notes that benzodiazepines are legally obtainable only by prescription.

The court affidavit, as reported by The Oregonian, provides chilling details of the alleged incident. The girls suspected that their mango drinks, served by Meyden, had been tampered with when they noticed “tiny white chunks throughout and sprinkled on top.” Despite one girl expressing reluctance to drink the smoothie, Meyden allegedly insisted and even provided another one.

According to the affidavit, Meyden directed the girls to get ready for bed and reportedly checked on them multiple times in the basement, waving in one girl’s face and manipulating another’s arm and body. Sensing something was amiss, one of the girls pretended to drink the smoothie, later texting her mother about feeling unsafe and urgently needing to be picked up.

The text read: “Mom please pick me up and say I had a family emergency. I don’t feel safe. I might not respond but please come get me (crying emoji), Please. Please pick up. Please. PLEASE!!” A family friend retrieved the girl, and her parents subsequently reached out to the other parents, leading to Meyden’s confrontation with concerned parents at his house.

One of the girls exhibited concerning symptoms approximately 12 hours after the alleged drugging, including heavy eyelids, slow speech, and a feeling of wooziness and clumsiness. She described falling into a “thick, deep sleep” and repeatedly asked her parents about the events that unfolded after leaving Meyden’s house.

The shocking incident has left the community in disbelief, prompting a thorough investigation and raising concerns about the safety of children during seemingly innocent sleepovers.
