Biden Administration Contemplates Unilateral Recognition of Palestinian State, Breaking From Long-Standing Israel Policy

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is reportedly exploring the possibility of a unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state, signaling a significant departure from the longstanding U.S. policy and Israel’s stance. According to Axios, Blinken has instructed the State Department to review options for recognizing a Palestinian state after the recent conflict between Hamas and Israel.

While U.S. officials maintain that there has been no formal policy change, the mere consideration of such options indicates a shift in the Biden administration’s approach to recognizing Palestinian statehood. Historically, U.S. policy opposed unilateral recognition of Palestine as a state, emphasizing that statehood should only be achieved through direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

The revelation comes as Blinken is set to visit Israel for the fifth time since the outbreak of the conflict initiated by a Hamas terror attack on October 7. Despite expressing sympathy for the Israeli people, Blinken has been urging Israel to accept a Palestinian state, a stance that contradicts the Israeli government’s position.

Efforts to find a diplomatic resolution to the Gaza conflict have prompted a reconsideration of established U.S. paradigms. The Biden administration is reportedly tying the potential normalization of relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia to the establishment of a pathway for the creation of a Palestinian state. The administration had been working on a comprehensive deal with Saudi Arabia before the October 7 incident, which included a peace agreement between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Saudi officials have indicated that any potential normalization with Israel would hinge on the establishment of an “irrevocable” pathway toward a Palestinian state. Some within the Biden administration are now contemplating that recognition of a Palestinian state could be an initial step in the negotiation process to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, departing from the traditional approach of considering it as the final step.

Hamas Denies Rapes, Claims Abducted Israeli Women Were Treated Well

The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas once again denied that its members committed rape and sexual violence during the October 7 attacks, despite ample evidence from eyewitnesses and forensic evidence recently documented by the New York Times.

The Times of Israel reported Monday:

Hamas refutes the New York Times report on the weaponization of rape and sexual violence during the Gaza terror group’s brutal onslaught against Israel on October 7.

In a statement in Arabic and English, Hamas politburo member Basem Naim claims that the Western media and news agencies are “biased to what the Israeli propaganda says [in terms of] lies and slanders against the Palestinians and their resistance.”

Describing the October 7 savagery as “glorious,” Naim falsely claims that the New York Times report was based on accounts given indirectly by “women who said they heard other women repeating these allegations,” but there is “no conclusive evidence” that rapes took place.

As Breitbart News noted last week, the Times published an extensive report summarizing the growing evidence that Hamas raped, molested, mutilated and murdered Israeli women — and men — at several sites during the October 7 terror attack. Massive Anti-Israel Protests Erupt at World Trade Center

Manhattan witnessed a dramatic surge of anti-Israel protests on Thursday as thousands of demonstrators flooded the streets, amplifying their voices against the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The protesters, organized under the banner of “Flood NYC for Palestine,” strategically targeted several iconic locations in lower Manhattan, including City Hall, Zuccotti Park (known for the Occupy Wall Street movement), and the Bank of New York Mellon headquarters.

Among the fervent chants echoing through the city streets were calls for the destruction of Israel, with ralliers shouting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” The protest took a particularly poignant turn as one group organized a funeral procession, mourning children who lost their lives in Gaza.

Approximately 1,000 demonstrators participated in the march, which coincided with the escalation of Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza.

Nerdeen Kiswandi, the founder of event organizer Within Our Lifetime, delivered a passionate speech at Zuccotti Park, emphasizing the perceived role of the United States in supporting Israel. She contended that without U.S. backing, the Palestinian resistance would have overcome Israel long ago. The sentiment was echoed by Peru-born rapper Immortal Technique, who claimed that Israel takes orders from the United States.

The protesters marched towards the World Trade Center’s Oculus, where they surrounded the front doors, repeating their familiar chant: “Free, free Palestine.” The group also targeted the Bank of New York Mellon headquarters, accusing the institution of financing genocide due to its investments in defense contractor Elbit Systems.

Despite the intensity of the demonstrations, no arrests were reported, according to law enforcement sources.

Simultaneously, thousands of older Jewish pro-Palestinian protesters gathered in Times Square, clad in all-black attire. In a silent and solemn procession, they laid to rest 500 effigies of dead children, symbolizing the toll of the conflict on both Gaza and Israel.

Pro-Palestinian Protest Disrupts Christmas in San Francisco: ‘No Xmas as Usual’

A group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators tried to disrupt Christmas weekend shopping in San Francisco’s Union Square on Saturday in the latest attack on the Christian holiday, seen by radical leftists as an example of bourgeois complacency.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported:

Hundreds of protesters gathered among holiday crowds in San Francisco’s central shopping district Saturday to call for an end to hostilities between Hamas and Israel, as well as for charges to be dropped against demonstrators who shut down the Bay Bridge last month.

Chanting “free Palestine” and “cease-fire now” while holding yellow protest signs that read “No Xmas as usual in a genocide” and “DA Jenkins drop all charges on the Bay Bridge 78,” the protesters — many of them representing the Party for Socialism and Liberation — stood outside the former Westfield mall on Market Street as holiday shopping was underway with Christmas just two days away.

By 1:30 p.m., protesters had blocked traffic on Market Street between Powell and Ellis streets. About 30 minutes later protesters marched down Market Street and confronted police, leading to the arrest of one demonstrator. It was not immediately clear why the protester was arrested. Later, protesters marched to Union Square and surrounded the Christmas tree and ice skating rink.

The “Bay Bridge 78” refers to the 78 people who were arrested for blocking the San Francisco Bay Bridge last month during an anti-Israel protest. As Breitbart News later noted, that protest temporarily blocked a number of ambulances from delivering organs to waiting transplant patients.

Israel Now Faces at Least 5 Enemies on 5 Fronts

The State of Israel is fighting the Palestinian Hamas terror organization in Gaza, but that is just one front in an ongoing war against terror groups and their sponsors. In fact, Israel currently faces at least five enemies on five fronts. They are:

1. Hamas – Gaza and the West Bank. Israel has invaded Gaza and is determined to destroy Hamas’s capabilities there. But Hamas also has terror cells in the West Bank, and they have carried out several attacks in the weeks since the war started.

2. Hezbollah – Lebanon. The Iranian-backed terror group Hezbollah has been launching sporadic attacks on Israel’s northern region since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7. Israel has kept its response restrained, but faces the prospect of a broader war.

3. Syria. Syria has been formally in a state of war with Israel for decades. Russia and Iran have turned Syria into a puppet after intervening for Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian civil war, and there have been attacks on Israel from across the Syrian border.

4. Houthis – Yemen. Iran backs the Houthi rebels — whom President Joe Biden delisted as a terror group in 2021 — and they have been firing missiles and launching drones against Israel, as well as seizing ships and threatening Red Sea shipping lanes.

Pro-Palestinian Protests Attempt to Derail Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

On Wednesday, hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed the streets surrounding Rockefeller Center, clashing with NYPD officers and attempting to derail the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony in support of Gaza. The incident unfolded along Sixth Avenue, where ralliers, waving Palestinian flags and carrying signs calling for the “end to genocide,” gathered alongside tourists waiting for the iconic ceremony.

The protesters, chanting “river to the sea,” a slogan often criticized as antisemitic, aimed to disrupt the festivities in line with their plans announced earlier in the week. The demonstration coincided with the UN-recognized International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, adding a political dimension to the holiday tradition.

Despite NYPD’s efforts to maintain control, the situation escalated as protesters confronted officers, referring to them as “f–king Nazis.” Attempts were made to knock down barricades, and additional police units were called in as law enforcement sources reported attacks on officers. Some protesters were taken into custody, though specific charges remain unclear.

The crowd, unable to reach the NYC Christmas tree, redirected their protest around the News Corp building, housing The Post and Fox News, which had been targeted by pro-Palestinian protesters on previous occasions. One protester climbed on a pillar, and another displayed a sign bearing a swastika, comparing the Israel Defense Forces to German Nazis.

Tourists, eager to witness the annual tradition, expressed frustration at the disruption. Some condemned the protest as embarrassing, while others commended the NYPD for maintaining control despite verbal abuse.

The NYPD had anticipated potential disruptions, implementing a high-security presence for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Despite the chaos, the 91st annual ceremony proceeded without significant issues. The unusually rowdy protest dissipated after an hour, transitioning into a march through Manhattan towards Times Square, where protesters shouted, “Shut it down.”

Meet the Senior CIA Official Caught Posting Pro-Palestinian Content on Social Media

The top CIA official who changed her social media cover photo to a pro-Palestinian image two weeks after the Hamas terrorist organization carried out attacks on Israel is Associate Deputy Director for Analysis Amy McFadden, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

The original Oct. 21 photo of a man waving a Palestinian flag — often used in articles critical of Israel — is no longer publicly visible on the official’s social media, as the official, the associate deputy director for analysis at the CIA, changed the image after the Financial Times reached out Monday, the outlet reported. The DCNF identified the official as Amy McFadden, who has served in the CIA Directorate of Analysis front office since 2020, according to her LinkedIn profile.

McFadden worked in the CIA’s Counterterrorism center, was deputy in the Office of North African, Arabian Peninsula, and Regional Analysis and later was director of the President’s Daily Brief, according to her biography.

“The officer is a career analyst with extensive background in all aspects of the Middle East and this post [of the Palestinian flag] was not intended to express a position on the conflict,” a person familiar with the situation told the FT. The person added that the official also posted Facebook posts opposing antisemitism.

The official previously oversaw the assembly of the President’s Daily Briefing and is jointly responsible for managing all analysis distributed within the CIA, the FT reported. (Read more from “Meet the Senior CIA Official Caught Posting Pro-Palestinian Content on Social Media” HERE)

Professor Barred from Campus Due to Misleading Video: Anti-Israel Activists Misrepresent Statements on Hamas (VIDEO)

University of Southern California (USC) economics professor John Strauss, who is Jewish, has been barred from campus because of a doctored video circulated by anti-Israel activists who claim he said all Palestinians should be killed.

In fact, as the full video (clumsily included here by an anti-Israel activist) shows, Strauss was referring specifically to the Hamas terrorist organization. Video 1: ” … should be killed, and I hope they are.”

Video 2: ” You people are ignorant. Really ignorant. Hamas are murderers. That’s all they are. Every one of them should be killed, and I hope they are.”

Anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian, and Muslim activists only cited the former video in pushing for USC to take against Strauss.

The Los Angeles Times reported Sunday:

As [Strauss’s] remarks raced across the internet, his condemnation of Hamas was often excised, leaving only his “hope” for “all” to be killed. Captions and comments online framed his demand for “every one” to be killed in myriad, at times deceptive, ways. One Instagram post shared to millions of users claimed falsely that Strauss told the students, “[I] hope you get killed….”

Israeli Intelligence Minister Proposes Controversial Plan to Resettle Gazans Worldwide

Israeli Intelligence Minister Gila Gamliel has penned an op-ed in the Jerusalem Post advocating for a global refugee resettlement initiative aimed at relocating approximately 2 million Gazans outside of Israel. In her article, Gamliel asserts that Gaza, with its population that includes Hamas supporters, is a breeding ground for extremism, and a new approach is necessary to ensure the safety of Israeli communities.

The proposed scheme envisions moving Gazans to various countries around the world, with the expectation that once they are gone, Israeli communities can return to their homes and live securely. Gamliel frames this as a “win-win” solution, benefiting both Israelis and Gazans who would potentially live in wealthier countries.

However, Charlie Kirk raises concerns about the implications for the international community, especially cities like Paris, London, or Detroit, which would be expected to host individuals with diverse political affiliations, including those sympathetic to Hamas. His tweet criticizes Gamliel for attempting to shift the burden of dealing with Hamas sympathizers onto other nations, characterizing it as an attempt to make these individuals “our problem instead.”

Charlie Kirk expresses skepticism about the proclaimed benefits of the plan, emphasizing that it may strain the support for Israel among Western conservatives if such ideas persist. His remarks sparked controversy and discussions about the feasibility, ethics, and potential consequences of such a large-scale resettlement initiative.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Rejects Biden’s Gaza Proposal (VIDEO)

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu repeated his opposition Saturday night to a proposal by U.S. President Joe Biden to restore control of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority (PA) once Hamas is removed from power and destroyed.

On Saturday, Biden published an op-ed in the Washington Post in which he supported Israel, though once again joining the Israeli cause to the Ukrainian one, putting Hamas and Russia in the same category as enemies of the United States.

Biden also reiterated his support for a “two-state solution” as the only answer to the conflict, and added: “As we strive for peace, Gaza and the West Bank should be reunited under a single governance structure, ultimately under a revitalized Palestinian Authority, as we all work toward a two-state solution.” . . .

“In Gaza, after the destruction of Hamas, and for a long time thereafter, there will not be a regime that encourages terror, that teaches terror, that funds terror — that also indoctrinates about the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews — this will not be,” Netanyahu vowed at a press conference on Saturday night.

He was alluding to the PA’s record of encouraging terror, including the practice of “pay-to-slay,” in which the PA provides stipends to terrorists in Israeli prisons, and pensions to the families of terrorists killed by Israel.
