Loudoun County Schools Covered up Rape, Prosecuted a Concerned Father To Protect Transgender Agenda

The Daily Wire has published an intense investigative piece that exposes a deep rot in Virginia’s public school system — one that should force parents all over the country to question whether public school officials, both elected and unelected, care about their students at all.

The story highlights the arrest of a Virginia father who tried to protest pro-transgender policies the Loudoun County School Board was trying to implement at a June 22 meeting. Scott Smith was trying to tell the board that this ninth-grade daughter had been raped in the girl’s restroom by a boy wearing a skirt. Another woman at the meeting, a leftist community activist, told Smith she didn’t believe his daughter. He fired back, a police officer stepped in and grabbed Smith’s arm, Smith yanked it away, and then he was arrested.

More alarming than Smith’s arrest and subsequent prosecution, however, were the county’s attempts to hide what had happened to his daughter.

At that same school board meeting, the county’s superintendent claimed concerns about transgender policies were unreasonable because the school system had no record of a sexual assault ever taking place in a school bathroom.

This might be true, since school officials persistently tried to downplay the assault of Smith’s daughter. They tried to avoid getting law enforcement involved, telling Smith they would handle it “in-house,” apparently in order to prevent controversy over their transgender policy. They also downplayed the assault when communicating with other parents, describing the incident as “something out of the ordinary.” And finally, they transferred the assailant to a different school, where he went on to sexually assault another student just a few months later. This Public School Plans To Eliminate the “F” Grade, Here’s the Ridiculous Reason Why

Sunrise Park Middle School in White Bear lake, Minnesota, is the latest school to change its grading system in the name of combating “systemic racism.”

In a YouTube video, the middle school announced that it would eliminate the “F” grade.

“Our whole intent is to ensure that grades focus on the process of learning,” Principal Christina Pierre said in the video, according to Fox News. “Therefore, grades will not include behaviors, attitude, tardiness to class, whether the assignment was turned in late or on time. There’s other ways that we can communicate those things to parents.”

Associate Principal Norman Bell added that students would be encouraged to retake tests and quizzes, and revise papers and projects within 10 days of grade getting posted.

Leftist School Boards Association Begs Biden To Use Domestic Terrorism Laws to Target Concerned Parents

By The Federalist. The leftist National School Boards Association is begging President Joe Biden to use domestic terrorism laws to target parents who oppose anti-science mask mandates for children and the infiltration of racist curriculum in schools.

In a letter sent on Wednesday, NSBA asked the Biden administration and federal law enforcement to “deal with the growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation occurring across the nation.”

“Now, we ask that the federal government investigate, intercept, and prevent the current threats and acts of violence against our public school officials through existing statutes, executive authority, interagency and intergovernmental task forces, and other extraordinary measures to ensure the safety of our children and educators, to protect interstate commerce, and to preserve public school infrastructure and campuses,” the letter states.

NSBA said local and state law enforcement agencies are already working to “prevent further disruptions to educational services and school district operations,” but that “these threats and acts of violence have become more prevalent” and require assistance from federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and the Secret Service. NYC Public School Teachers Make Emergency Supreme Court Application to Block Mayor Bill de Blasio’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

By Daily Mail. New York City public school teachers have asked the Supreme Court for an emergency order to block Mayor Bill de Blasio’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate from going into effect Friday.

The group of four teachers sent a petition to Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor arguing that the mandate not only places an ‘unconstitutional burden’ on the city’s 148,000 school workers, but also ‘threatens the education of thousands of children.’

The petition argues that their rights are being violated because they do not have the option to undergo regular COVID-19 testing instead of getting the shot. Other essential workers – including NYPD cops – have been given that testing option instead.

Teachers across all public schools in the Big Apple have up until 5pm Friday to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or risk losing their jobs.

When the school day starts the following Monday – October 4 – all teachers and staff arriving for work across the city’s public schools must have received at least their first dose of the vaccine. Leftist School Required 4th Graders To Complete ‘Equity Survey’, Told To Hide Project From Parents (VIDEO)

A fourth grade student in the Sartell-St. Stephen school district in Minnesota informed the school board students were required to complete an “equity survey,” and told not to “repeat any of the questions to our parents.”

“My teacher said that I could not skip any questions even when I didn’t understand them,” Haylee Yasgar, who attended Riverview Intermediate School, said at a recent school board meeting, reported Alphanews Minnesota.

“One question asked us what gender we identify with,” Haylee added. “I was very confused along with a lot of other classmates.”

Haylee said students were also told they were not permitted to “repeat any of the questions to our parents.”

With Children Fully Indoctrinated, Schools Have a New Target

It’s no longer a surprise to hear about public schools using their access to impressionable children to push divisive ideas about politics and race. But now it has escalated to a new level: using their taxpayer-funded budgets to shape the views of adults who live nearby.

For example, in Pennsylvania, Seria Chatters, Director of Equity and Inclusivity for the State College Area School District, wrote to parents to have them “learn more about race and racism… through the Parent and Community Book Club!” The book club would not be for cultivating a love of literature; rather, the choices were “White Fragility” by Robin DiAngelo, “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates, “EveryDay AntiRacism,” edited by Mica Pollack, and “Race Talk and the Conspiracy of Silence” by Derald Wing Sue.

Even more surprising, it is often the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), a group that seemingly represents parents’ interests, that has instead taken to gathering adults so they can be influenced by the growing mass of school race or “equity” departments.

In Pinellas County, Florida, diversity honchos are subjecting parents of elementary school students to optional anti-racist training. The recurring event “Let’s Talk About Race: An educational series for North Shore families, friends, and teachers,” is “a training series hosted by the North Shore Elementary PTA about race and racism [and] how it affects almost every aspect of American life,” according to materials obtained by The Daily Wire. Your Kids Would Be Better off Feral Than Going to Schools That Make Them Anti-American Racists

To obtain or keep teaching licenses, Illinois now requires all K-12 teachers to indoctrinate their students in critical race theory, destructive lies about sex and gender, and other leftist mind poison. The rules clearly communicate that in Illinois public schools are no longer places to learn, but places children will be lied to, manipulated, and warehoused as wards of a corrupt and malevolent state. And this kind of schooling is spreading nationwide.

Every decent parent, family, and church should refuse to allow this kind of instruction to be inflicted upon the children in their care, and assume personal responsibility for securing their genuine education outside such anti-public schools. Those who do not are abdicating their sacred duty to teach their children to love and know the truth. . .

No joke: Illinois’s state school board and legislature also deleted requirements that teachers prove they have learned any traditional curricular content or subject-matter knowledge. Social agitation uber alles.

“What’s more,” notes Stanley Kurtz, “the Illinois experience is about to go national.” A coalition of leftists is working together to make rules like Illinois’s operate in every state under the guise of “civics,” as Kurtz documents in depth. They intend to co-opt and subvert the grassroots recognition in America that education institutions use public resources to teach the next generation to hate the country that gives them more than every other country in the world does. . .

State-sponsored instruction that makes your child a dogmatic, racist relativist is not worth any benefit you feel schools give in return. Not a single one. Being Mowgli raised by wolves and bears would be better for your child than this. Thankfully, unlike the therians or human pups your children could meet under instruction like this, you realize you are not a wolf or bear, so you can do a lot better than raising Mowgli. School Board Removes 44 Names From Schools: Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson

Schools in San Francisco, California, will be stripped of names honoring famous American leaders deemed unworthy because of a connection to slavery or other unsavory ties, including Presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson.

John Muir, Francis Scott Key, and Catholic Priest Junipero Serra are also on the list.

In all, 44 school will be renamed, even as critics of the decision cite the committee tasked with picking the schools did not receive enough input from historians and a lack knowledge about the current school names.

“In one instance, the committee didn’t know whether Roosevelt Middle School was named after Theodore or Franklin Delano,” the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

And despite concerns that the city has more important issues to address, including the coronavirus pandemic, rampant drug overdoses, and an ongoing homelessness epidemic, the city’s school board believes it can handle multiple issues, including erasing history from the halls of education. Teacher Union Leader Says ‘White Supremacy’ Fuels Reopening Efforts

The leader of a teachers union in Washington state is facing criticism after he said that reopening efforts are fueled by “white supremacy” and concerns over lockdown suicides were “white privilege.”

Scott Wilson, the president of the Pasco Association of Educators, made the comments during a Jan. 12 school board meeting, according to the Tri-City Herald.

“We must not ignore the culture of white supremacy and white privilege. We have seen it in the ‘free to breathe,’ reopen everything, rodeos and rallies that received county commissioner support. The same county commissioner directs our health,” Wilson said.

“No one wants remote learning, but it is the right thing to do. We know the equity concerns, virus transmission is high, heading higher, with so many ignoring and avoiding measures to stop the spread, remote learning is the right decision,” he added. . .

“They complain their students are suicidal without school or sports,” said Wilson. “As a father daily surviving the suicide of my son, I find these statements ignorant and another expression of white privilege. The Left’s Anti-Science School Closures Are Killing More Students Than the Virus

Almost a year after COVID-19 reached the United States and government-mandated lockdowns began shutting down nearly every aspect of American life, many schools across the nation have yet to reopen for in-person learning.

While the science and data, previously ignored by the virtue-signaling left, suggests that educational leaders should seriously consider ending virtual schooling for the sake of students’ mental health and academic advancement, many school districts remain closed, offering only online classes or virtual learning options to millions of children and teens.

Even as the COVID-19 vaccine becomes more readily available to members of the community, including teachers, authoritative voices in the education world have expressed hesitancy and even cast doubt on the decision to abolish remote learning. . .

Despite parents’ growing opposition, as recorded by Pew Research, to the difficulty and dangers that come with remote learning and concerns about their children’s mental health and educational growth, the schools that have returned to hybrid learning or only offered a small selection of students the option to be in the classroom are receiving strong pushback from teachers unions that claim the return is unsafe and will result in the deaths of staff and students. . .

Despite the clear complications of virtual learning for students, teachers, and parents, especially those who work outside the home, school districts are extending their remote learning period, some beyond the date that they first began teaching over Zoom in March 2020. These educational institutions that receive federal tax dollars to operate are denying children the educations that they not only want but have been declared necessary by health officials, including Anthony Fauci.

If Biden’s Projected Education Secretary Nominee Signed off on This Garbage, He’s No Moderate

. . .Chrissy Clark at the Washington Free Beacon delved deeper and aptly noted that given what Biden’s projected education secretary pick mandated while running Connecticut’s schools; it makes him no moderate in any, way, shape, or form. I mean just look at who he worked with in creating this minority-studies course he mandated for the state. Ladies and Gentleman, this is Miguel Cardona, the commissioner of education for the state of Connecticut (via Free Beacon):

Joe Biden’s likely pick for education secretary helped create a mandated, statewide minority-studies course that “analyze[s] how race, power, and privilege influence group access to citizenship, civil rights, and economic power.”

Miguel Cardona, the current Connecticut commissioner of education, played a key role in creating the curriculum for Connecticut’s required course in African-American, Black, Puerto Rican, and Latino studies. The curriculum supposedly helps students “consider the scope of African American/Black and Puerto Rican/Latino contributions to U.S. history, society, economy, and culture” and is rooted in “critical race theory,” which claims that America is intrinsically racist. As the state’s commissioner of education, Cardona oversees all educational programming.

On Dec. 2, the Connecticut State Board of Education unanimously approved the curriculum for the mandatory course, which students will be required to take beginning in the fall of 2022. The curriculum is only mandatory for high school students, though other K-8 school systems are also changing their curricula along similar lines.
