Last week, Senator Rand Paul mauled America’s lawn gnome, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases caudillo Dr. Anthony Fauci in a hearing on the Wuhan virus.

Paul warned Fauci that eventually, he would be held personally accountable for his role in funding the so-called “gain of function” research carried out in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a facility run by the Chinese military subject to US or international oversight. . .

In response, Fauci ran, tail tucked to his fangirl network, MSNBC, where he boldly proclaimed that Paul had slandered him. This is the whole clip; the key part is in the tweet below.

The number of flip-flops is many. He’s been wrong about almost everything about COVID. He’s been caught engaging in political theater after he was vaccinated. Remember when he still wore a mask? Yeah, he admitted it wasn’t necessary post-vaccination. In his emails, he admits the store-bought masks don’t curb the spread of COVID but peddled mask mania regardless. And he might have committed a felony for lying before Congress. There’s something more to these grants that were given to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Rand Paul and Anthony Fauci Clash on NIH Funding In Wuhan: ‘It Is a Crime To Lie to Congress’

By Breitbart. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) grilled Dr. Anthony Fauci during a hearing on the Chinese coronavirus Tuesday over his prior claim that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has never funded gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Paul’s presentation triggered President Biden’s chief medical adviser, who refused to retract his May 11 statement and instead snapped at the Kentucky senator, brazenly telling Paul, “you do not know what you are talking about.”

“Dr. Fauci, as you are aware it is a crime to lie to Congress,” Paul began during the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions hearing Tuesday, reminding Fauci of his previous remarks to the committee on May 11th, during which the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) director stated that the NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain of function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“And yet, gain-of-function research was done entirely in the Wuhan Institute … and was funded by the NIH,” Paul said, citing Wuhan Virology paper entitled, “Discovery of a Rich Gene Pool of Bat SARS-Related Coronaviruses.”

Rand Paul Seeks ‘Criminal’ Investigation of Dr. Fauci

By Newsweek. Rand Paul has said he will push for a criminal probe into Dr. Anthony Fauci, following his heated exchange with the infectious diseases chief at a Senate hearing on Tuesday.

The Kentucky senator claims that the infectious diseases chief lied before Congress about funding for a Chinese lab that some have linked to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Paul agues that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded so-called “gain of function” research—a process involves enhancing a virus in a lab to study its potential impact in the real world—at a lab in Wuhan.

A New Bill to End Airplane Mask Mandates Is Here

Last week Republican Senator Rand Paul vowed to introduce legislation ending the federal government mandate requiring masks be worn on airplanes.

Today, Paul officially introduced the legislation on Capitol Hill.

“The federal government forcing the American people to continue to wear masks despite the fact that we’ve already reached herd immunity is ridiculous and needs to end immediately,” Paul released in a statement. “I am introducing the Travel Mask Mandate Repeal Act of 2021 to put a stop to this nanny state mandate of requiring masks on public transportation. In a free county people will evaluate their personal risk factors and are smart enough to ultimately make medical decisions like wearing a mask themselves.”

U.S. Senator: ‘Throw Away Your Masks And Burn Your Vaccine Passport’

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, a practicing physician, is urging Americans to throw away their face masks and burn vaccine passports.

“The left has gone completely COVID crazy,” the Kentucky Republican says in a new fundraising pitch.

“They want government-enforced shutdowns, mask mandates, school closures, forced vaccines, and now they’re talking about a COVID vaccine passport. It’s absolutely unconstitutional – not to mention, it’s absurd.”

The ophthalmologist wrote:

I urge everyone to get the vaccine if you need or want it. And then I urge everyone in America to throw away their masks, demand their schools be open, and burn your vaccine passport if they try to give it to you.

Senator to Transgender HHS Pick: Do You Support Amputating Kids’ Private Parts?

At a confirmation hearing Thursday, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., confronted President Biden’s nominee for assistant secretary of Health and Human Services on the government’s support for “sex-change” treatment and surgery.

The exchange was particularly significant because the nominee is Dr. Rachel Levine, who would become the first transgender U.S. official if confirmed. . .

“Dr. Levine, do you believe that minors are capable of making such a life-changing decision as changing one’s sex?” Paul asked. . .

Paul pressed further, asking, “Do you support the government intervening to override a parent’s consent to give a child puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and/or amputation surgery of breasts or genitalia?”

GOP Senator Floats Impeaching Chuck Schumer

Sen. Rand Paul said if Democrats seek to impeach former President Donald Trump for his rhetoric before the Capitol riot, then they should consider impeaching colleagues such as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer “for inciting violence” in the past.

“I think if we are going to criminalize speech and somehow impeach everybody who says, oh, go fight to hear your voices heard, really we ought to impeach Chuck Schumer then,” the Kentucky Republican told Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace. “He went to the Supreme Court, stood in front of the Supreme Court and said specifically, hey [Justice Neil] Gorsuch, hey [Justice Brett] Kavanaugh, you’ve unleashed a whirlwind, and you’re going to pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you continue with these awful decisions.”

“This inflammatory wording, this violent rhetoric of Chuck Schumer was so bad that the chief justice, who rarely says anything publicly, immediately said this kind of language is dangerous as a mob tried to invade the Supreme Court,” he continued. “So if people want to hold President Trump accountable for language, there has to be a consistent standard, and to my mind, it’s a partisan farce because they’re not doing anything to Chuck Schumer, not doing anything to Rep. Omar, not doing anything to Maxine Waters. It’s just not fair. It’s just partisan politics under a different name.”

In early March 2020, Schumer identified Kavanaugh and Gorsuch by name in front of a crowd of supporters and cautioned them that they had “released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.” The New York Democrat, who later walked back his comments, drew bipartisan condemnation and a rebuke from Chief Justice John Roberts, which is seldom seen from the court. Minus Trump-Hating Murkowski and a Few Other RINOs, GOP Stands With Rand Paul Against Impeachment Trial

Forty-five senators voted on Tuesday with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), raising constitutional concerns over the second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump.

Forty-five senators voted with Paul’s motion to raise the question of whether it is constitutional to impeach Trump after he left office. This means that likely five Republicans voted with Democrats on the question of whether it is constitutional to impeach a former president.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) voted with Paul on the motion that the impeachment trial is unconstitutional.

Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Mitt Romney (R-UT), Ben Sasse (R-NE), and Pat Toomey (R-PA) voted with Democrats, believing that the impeachment is constitutional.

This vote likely serves as a proxy vote on the final vote of whether to convict Trump on the question if he incited an insurrection during the January 6 riots.

WATCH: Sen. Rand Paul Shreds George Stephanopoulos for Being a Liberal Hack

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) on Sunday spared with ABC News host George Stephanopoulos over the results of the 2020 presidential election. According to Paul, so-called “journalists” like Stephanopoulos repeatedly interject themselves into the voter fraud narrative, saying there is no evidence fraud existed.

“A threshold question for you, this election was not stolen, do you accept that fact?” the host asked.

“Well, what I would say that the debate over whether or not there was fraud should occur. We never had any presentation in court. Most of the cases were thrown out for lack of standing, a procedural way of not hearing it. A law was changed in secretary of state, not the state legislatures,” the senator explained. “There’s still a chance that those actually work their way up to the Supreme Court” . . .

“I have to stop you there. No election is perfect, but there were 86 challenges filed by President Trump and his allies in court, all were dismissed. Every state certified the results after counts and recounts. The Department of Justice, led by William Barr, said there’s no widespread fraud. Can’t you just say the words this election was not stolen?” [Stephanopoulos] asked.

Paul reminded the host of one important fact: a large portion of America feels like something nefarious took place during the election.

GOP Senator: Presidential Election Was Stolen

In a Senate hearing Wednesday that erupted into a heated exchange between the chairman and the ranking member, Republican Sen. Rand Paul charged the 2020 election was “stolen,” arguing courts never addressed the evidence.

“The courts haven’t decided the facts. They never looked at the facts,” the Kentucky senator said.

“The fraud happened. The election in many ways was stolen and the only way it will be fixed is by in the future reinforcing the laws,” he said.

Paul’s remarks came after former independent counsel Ken Starr affirmed that some 60 court cases brought by the Trump campaign and its allies were rejected primarily for procedural reasons as opposed to their merits.

“I think it’s important that we look at this and understand what courts are saying and not saying,” Paul said. “The courts have not said there wasn’t fraud. The courts simply didn’t rule on or hear [about] the fraud.” (Read more from “GOP Senator: Presidential Election Was Stolen” HERE)

Senator Vows to Fight More COVID Lockdowns, Continued Mask-Wearing

Sen. Rand Paul said Sunday he would do everything in his power to fight back against another possible lockdown under a projected Biden administration, as some of his coronavirus advisers have said may be necessary.

“I’m going to do everything I can to try to prevent Biden from locking us up and locking us down and forcing us to wear masks forever. We can’t go on like this forever,” he told WABC’s “The CATS Roundtable with John Catsimatidis.”

“Today, Biden’s talking more about a lockdown,” Paul added. “This is absolutely why he’s going to be a terrible president if we get him. He’s going to ruin the country. Lockdowns don’t work. And in fact, all of the evidence on mandatory masks show that they don’t work either.” . . .

Paul pointed out places that have implemented mandatory mask rules saw an increase in the infection rate.

“There’s about 10 different countries or venues, maybe 20, that instituted mandatory masks, and every one of them to a T, the infection rate or the COVID rate went up after the mask mandate,” he continued. “Now, this is just showing that … all these mitigation strategies — washing our hands, staying six feet apart — they really don’t work, frankly. And the virus, as the Wall Street Journal put it, is insidious. It does what it’s going to do.
