Sarah Palin on Fertility and the Syrian Civil War

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin criticized the Obama administration’s decision to supply weapons to the rebels in the civil war in Syria today, arguing that the U.S. should “Let Allah sort it out” until there is a stronger leader in the White House.

“Militarily, where is our commander in chief? We’re talking now more new interventions. I say until we know what we’re doing, until we have a commander in chief who knows what he’s doing, well, let these radical Islamic countries who aren’t even respecting basic human rights, where both sides are slaughtering each other as they scream over an arbitrary red line, ‘Allah Akbar,’ I say until we have someone who knows what they’re doing, I say let Allah sort it out,” Palin said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference…

Palin, speaking at the conclusion of the three-day Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference, also took a swipe at another speaker at the conservative forum, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who argued Friday that one of the reasons to support the Senate’s immigration reform plan is because “Immigrants are more fertile.”

“I think it’s kind of dangerous territory, territory to want to debate this whole one race’s fertility rate over another, and I say this from someone who’s kind of fertile herself,” Palin said. “I don’t think that’s where we want to go in deciding how will we incentivize the hardworking responsible families who want to live in the light, follow the law, become Americans, versus those whose very first act on our soil is to break the law? There are different ways that we can debate this.”

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is rejoining Fox News as a contributor, network Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes told the Wall Street Journal.

In January, it was reported that the network was choosing not to renew her contract.

“I’ve had several conversations with Governor Palin in the past few weeks about her rejoining Fox News as a contributor,” Mr. Ailes said Thursday. “I have great confidence in her and am pleased that she will once again add her commentary to our programming.”

Bill Maher Mocks Trig and Sarah Palin Responds, “I Hope One Flattens Your Lily White Wimpy A#*”

By Breitbart News. Conservative Ron Futrell knew to expect plenty of left-of-center jibes when he settled into his seat to see Bill Maher at The Pearl Theater in Las Vegas June 8.

Futrell didn’t think he’d hear the HBO personality mock former Gov. Sarah Palin’s special needs child or hear the crowd laugh right along.

Futrell, a former Las Vegas sports broadcaster and Breitbart News contributor, says on his blog that Maher used the term “retarded” to describe young Trig Palin during the comedy performance… Read more from this story HERE.

Sarah Palin: “America, We are So Screwed”

By Sarah Palin, Facebook.

We’re in for a helluva’ ride, America. Obama just named Susan Rice as his National Security Adviser and nominated Samantha Power to replace Rice as our U.N. ambassador. Samantha Power is married to Cass Sunstein, the very, very strange Obama pick for an early “czar” position who wowed us with his numerous bizarre claims including the wacko belief that animals should have the right to sue in court, that hunting should be banned as genocide, and that pet ownership is akin to “slavery.” But Mrs. Cass Sunstein’s character judgment in choosing her life partner is the least of America’s worries. Information about Obama’s new picks will be revealed in coming days. Pay attention to who they are; what they stand for; and what their records, associations, and statements reveal about them and their intentions. Especially consider Obama’s chosen ones as evidence of his skewed thinking as he “fundamentally transforms” our great nation.

Sarah Palin Blasts Sebelius for Denying Girl’s Lifesaving Lung Transplant

By Steven Ertelt. Former governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin is blasting HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius for becoming a one-woman death panel. Sebelius is denying a young girl a lifesaving lung transplant — forcing the girl’s family to look to the courts for help.

Paling blasted Sebelius on Twitter and Facebook. In her Facebook post, Palin said recalled how much criticism she received for decrying “death panels” in Obamacare:

The government will bend the rules left and right to harass targeted taxpayers, conservative patriots, selected journalists, etc., but it will strictly exercise inconsistent and subjective rules to deny a child a shot at life. And they called us liars when we spoke of “death panels” – faceless bureaucrats coming between you and your doctor to make life and death decisions about a loved one’s survival. It doesn’t sound so far fetched anymore, does it? Read more from this story HERE.

Sarah Palin Says ‘No’ to Mark Burnett for TV Talk Show

Photo Credit: NewsmaxFormer Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been offered a major syndicated TV talk show by reality show producer Mark Burnett but turned down the deal, Newsmax has learned.

One of country’s sought after speakers on the political circuit, Burnett believed he could turn Palin into the next Oprah, offering to produce a daytime TV talk show hosted by the conservative icon herself.

But so far, Palin has said no — though the deal is not completely dead, say insiders.

The sticking points have been over location and money, people familiar with the deal say. Burnett has insisted that Palin do the show from either New York or Los Angeles, which would require her to move for a significant portion of the year from her residence in Alaska where she lives with husband Todd.

Palin has a distaste for cultural elites in the Big Apple and LA, one person familiar with the discussions said.

Palin on IRS Corruption: I’m Sure Obama is Grateful

Photo Credit: © Copyright Shealah Craighead/ FacebookLet the Light Shine

Today we learned that our government targeted and harassed conservative Americans who simply wanted to be involved in the national discussion. Is it any wonder why Americans are so distrustful of D.C.? I’m sure President Obama is grateful for all the help the IRS gave his reelection campaign, but, still, you have to wonder how the bureaucrats who tried to pull this off can sleep at night.

So many Americans knew this was happening, but many felt defenseless and even helpless against a government that seems to roll along without accountability or sense of obligation to the people it’s supposed to serve. These Americans were mocked for being concerned about this, but now we see light shining on the truth, finally.

This IRS revelation is another step in the unraveling of the Obama administration’s self-proclaimed “hope and change.” Between the Benghazi cover-up and the IRS targeting Obama’s political opponents, we see the corruption at the heart of big government.

Americans should remember that this same corrupt IRS will be in charge of enforcing Obamacare. And this same inept and corrupt government will supposedly secure our now unsecured borders in advance of immigration reform and will implement a completely ethical and non-political IPAB panel to make life and death health care decisions for you and your family. Forgive me for not trusting these big government promises any more than I trust the White House’s latest Benghazi spin or the IRS’ fairness.

Despite all of this, I still believe that this “fundamental transformation of America” is temporary. This attempted transformation into a disheartened, weakened, unrecognizable nation is so far below anything Americans deserve. It becomes permanent only if we throw up our hands and surrender to the corruption and cover-ups.

We must demand more light shine on all that’s transpiring in D.C.’s self-absorbed bubble. On the IRS scandal, we must have accountability and a full investigation. On Benghazi, Speaker Boehner must create a Select Committee with full investigative and subpoena authority to get to the bottom of the cover-up. Keep the faith, friends.

Politico, Washington Post Carry Fabricated Stories About Palin in Wake of Thatcher's Death

Mainstream media publications immediately exploited the passing of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on Monday to again advance their political agendas by falsely smearing former Alaska Gov. and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

In a rush to write whatever they could to tarnish both, outlets like Politico and the Washington Post resorted to “reporting” on a fictitious story and an imaginary trip that have already been debunked years ago.

The Post, a publication known for its liberal agenda, immediately “re-upped” the debunked story about Thatcher having snubbed Palin when Chris Cillizza, the editor of “The Fix,” allowed his underling to publish parts of the disproven 2011 report.

Politico ironically included the story in its article about Thatcher as well, even though the publication debunked the story two years ago.

In 2011, a left-wing and anti-Thatcher British newspaper, the Guardian, tried to smear Palin by writing a fictitious story, with an anonymous quote, about how Thatcher supposedly snubbed Palin for a meeting that had never even been scheduled, as both camps immediately confirmed. The British newspaper also claimed a Thatcher adviser called Palin “nuts.”

Deja Roo: Establishment Republicans Contravene Rules, Subvert GOP Elections . . . Again!

As though the Establishment’s political lynching of Chair-Elect Russ Millette wasn’t enough, the verdict is now in on round two of the proceedings from the Kangaroo Court assembled by the State Executive Committee. After hearing the latest verdict, it is abundantly clear that party “leadership” is sending an unequivocal message to grassroots conservatives: your vote doesn’t matter.

It might be dismissed as an anomaly, an exigent circumstance, or perhaps an isolated lapse in judgment if we hadn’t seen this flick before. But the bad reruns just keep coming, ad nauseam.

After the State Convention in April, I sat down for lunch with ARP Rules Chair Frank McQueary to talk party politics and see if we could patch things up. When asked what could be done to bring the party together, his answer was “nothing.” Period.

Mr. McQueary then went on to give me a history of grievances stretching back to my childhood. He told of the villainous Christian fundamentalists from the “Moral Majority” of the 1980’s, the troublesome “Christian Coalition” of the 1990’s, and so on. It all left me scratching my head, wondering what all that had to do with me or my conservative friends in 2012.

Apparently they had committed the same almighty calumny that the Palinistas, Millerites, and Paulers had. They had the unmitigated gall to go out, organize, and win an election. Clearly unacceptable!

Notwithstanding the protests of my Establishment friends, this whole sordid affair had nothing to do with Russ Millette or Debbie Brown. Just like the last episode had nothing to do with Joe Miller. Or the one before with Sarah Palin . . . or the Christian Coalition of the 90’s . . . or the Moral Majority of the 80’s . . .

It had everything to do with ruling class entitlement, corruption, and a group of despotic power mongers who leverage political power for personal aggrandizement, and shake down State and Federal Treasuries for the enrichment of their friends and family. Can we say crony capitalist?

They are the folks who for a generation propped up Ted Stevens, the Murkowskis, and Don Young while they colluded with lawyers, lobbyists, corporatists, and other corrupt politicians in Washington to create a network that would bring the gravy train to Alaska and keep it flowing. Our delegation and their “partners in crime” are known inside the beltway as “the Alaska Mafia.” No joke.

Sadly, the ARP’s role in enabling big government and crony capitalism has made it a willing accomplice in the bankrupting of America. The struggle you see going on now is for the heart and soul of the Republican Party in the Last Frontier. Nothing more. Nothing less.

The Establishment is arguing again that the results of the Convention were somehow illegitimate, and don’t represent the Alaska Republican Party. Where have we heard that before?

Seems I recall hearing a lot of moaning from the Establishment that Sarah Palin wasn’t “one of us.” Ironically, she was too bipartisan.

And given my central role in Joe Miller’s campaign, I know the narrative well that was being peddled in the days following Joe’s stunning primary victory in the 2010 US Senate race.

Yep. Same story. The primary election didn’t reflect Alaska because it represented only a fraction of the electorate (it’s called the party system), everybody who wanted to vote for Lisa couldn’t (read Democrats) because of the closed Republican primary, and of course Joe Miller had somehow won illegitimately because he “mischaracterized” Murkowski’s record.

I know I’m a little late with the Truth Squad, but the fact is that Joe Miller defeated Lisa Murkowski in the largest turnout for a Republican Primary in the history of Alaska, garnering more than 10,000 more votes than Murkowski received in her 2004 primary victory which she won by more than 20 points.

Then-Representative Lisa Murkowski had voted for the closed primary system while serving in the Alaska Legislature. And the Senator went on to embrace almost every one of Joe’s supposed “mischaracterizations” of her record in the general election, vindicating his statements as truth. Ironically, she won her write-in bid with the help of more than 36,000 Democrats. That would be more votes than the write-in senator received from Republicans.

Murkowski also claimed that she re-entered the race due to an outpouring of public support that grew over time to create a popular mandate. But according to an interview conducted with The Daily Beast on primary election night, knowing things were not looking good for her, she was already entertaining the idea of a third-party run before the primary results were even tallied.

Joe Miller was subsequently villified and treated as a pariah by Establishment Republicans who supported Murkowski’s relentless multi-million-dollar fear-and-smear campaign, proving that all it takes to destroy the character of a good man is a few million dollars and a lot of malice.

The same canards were trotted out after Russ Millette won the chairmanship with 54% of the vote from elected delegates representing all forty political districts of the state. Was it a small number of the 137,000 Republicans in the State of Alaska? Yes, it’s called representative government. But it was a decisive victory from what was reportedly the largest Republican Convention ever assembled in the Alaska.

Not only are the architects of “Republican” mayhem living a lie through their post-convention coup, they are engaging in hypocrisy of the lowest kind. For over the molehill of specious charges leveled at both the Chair and Vice-Chair duly elected by the delegates of the 2012 Republican State Convention, looms a mountain of evidence to prove beyond doubt that many of the folks on the SEC have in fact broken party rules for which there has been no discipline imposed.

I offer two indisputable examples that are a matter of public record: United States Senator Lisa Murkowski, and long-time party boss Randy Ruedrich.

As we all witnessed in 2010, Lisa Murkowski, a sitting member of the State Central Committee, waged a multi-million-dollar smear campaign on the public airwaves against the party nominee. It was mean-spirited. It was malicious. And it was a clear violation of party rules.

What was the Party’s official response? To congratulate the perpetrator, and openly attack the Republican nominee. And that is where Ruedrich comes in.

As though it wasn’t enough to publicly embrace the villainous Murkowski, and seek to publicly humiliate the Republican nominee, Ruedrich joined the Murkowski intervention in post-election legal proceedings by signing a sworn affidavit submitted to the Court, all before the election was certified. This too was clearly a violation of party rules for which the State Central Committee could have removed Ruedrich from office.

So what did the Central Committee do about these clear rules violations? Absolutely nothing.

In fact, after the duly elected delegates of the 2012 State Convention passed a resolution out of committee censuring Murkowski for her destructive behavior, Ruedrich broke the rules again to shut down the convention prematurely, averting a floor vote on the censure. The Chairman subsequently thwarted the reconvene of the convention required under the rules, even taking to the press to tell folks not to attend so as to avoid a quorum.

But it didn’t end there. When the State Central Committee finally got around to acting on the censure resolution, they refused to even vote, instead opting to table it. So not only were they unwilling to exercise discipline by removing the bad actors, they were not even willing to denounce what they had done.

But then again, why would this behavior be surprising coming from the likes of folks who I personally witnessed throw tantrums at the State Convention. One vowed to “burn down the Central Committee.” Another personally told me he couldn’t wait until his term was up as a state-wide officer so he could attack the party openly. Both of these members voted to remove the duly elected leaders of our party.

The subversive behavior of ARP “Leadership” deserves censure from every Alaskan of good will. It is dishonest. It is hypocritical. It is an affront to good faith and fair dealing.

Sorry folks, the verdict of the State Executive Committee’s Kangaroo Court just won’t pass the red face test. And while the corrupt Republican Establishment continues to wage war on the citizens they expect to vote for them, Mark Begich laughs. Let’s hope he’s not laughing all the way back to Washington for a second term.

Limbaugh, Palin and Beck All Outraged Over MSNBC Ad Promoting Government Ownership of Children

After hearing MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry’s “Lean Forward” advertisement promoting the concept that the “kids belong to their communities,” not their parents, Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and Glenn Beck all engaged, slamming this communistic approach:

Talk-show host Rush Limbaugh declared, “The nuclear family has always been under attack by communists, by leftists. The nuclear family – just like religion – must be destroyed, and in its place, ‘the community,’ the collective.

“So, while this is outrageous in its self-contained form, it isn’t anything new. I guess one of the things that is the most frustrating to me is that liberalism and socialism and Marxism and this kind of stuff have been out there on display for people to see and recognize and accept as true for decades.”

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin tweeted: “‘Apparently MSNBC doesn’t think your children belong to you. Unflippingbelievable.”

Meanwhile, Glenn Beck pointed out that the MSNBC network promo is not just some gaffe by a host or panelist.

“This is something that people thought about,” he said. “This is something that everybody worked on. This is something that everybody got together and filmed.”

Palin Reloads For 2014 Elections With SarahPac Video

In a sign of how active Sarah Palin intends to be in influencing the 2014 elections, SarahPAC, Sarah Palin’s Political Action Committee, released a video on Wednesday meant to ignite independents, conservatives, and Tea Partiers for the 2014 midterm elections. These voters propelled Republican candidates in the historic 2010 midterm elections that saw Republicans take back the House of Representatives on the backs of Tea Party voters.

Titled “Loaded for Bear,” the video shows footage and headlines from mainstream media outlets like Politico referring to Palin as a “kingmaker” and conservative outlets like Fox News acknowledging how successfully Palin has used her star-power to help elect conservative candidates to office.

The video also features Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) praising Palin for her fearlessness and being instrumental in electing senators such as Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Pat Toomey, Jeff Flake, Deb Fischer, Cruz and governors like Nikki Haley of South Carolina.

In 2012, former South Carolina Senator and current president of the Heritage Foundation Jim DeMint said Palin’s endorsement “has more influence in primaries than any other endorsement right now.”

“Sarah Palin picks winners,” Cruz says in the video.
