By Independent Sentinel. As we reported yesterday and this morning, Antifa seized a police precinct and a six-eight block area in Seattle Capitol Hill. Black Lives Matter is also involved and took over the City Hall with Antifa. Thousands are moving in to the Antifa ‘cop free zone.’

The Mayor, Jenny Durkan, ordered the police to abandon the precinct. She sent porta potties in to these domestic terrorists. She is so weak. . .

On Tuesday “Free Capitol Hill” the Antifa “Autonomous Zone” released its list of demands from the Seattle and Washington State governments. . .

According to citizen reporter Andy Ngo, “They bar media from entering and screen people coming in. They are walking around fully armed. Talking about making their own currency and making their own flag.”

“The antifa #CapitalHillAutonomousZone in Seattle has a subreddit set up. They are posting about making homemade chemical weapons, maintaining supply lines, & how to use those armed with guns to push police back,” Ngo said.

Antifa Mob Planning to Take Over More Seattle Neighborhoods

By The Post Millennial. Following the surrender of the East Precinct of the Seattle Police Department to an Antifa mob and the occupation of Seattle City Hall, a source on the ground in Seattle says that other police precincts around the city are preparing to be the next targets.

Regarding the autonomous zone established by the Antifa-led mob, the source—whose anonymity we are protecting—says, “They bar media from entering and screen people coming in. They are walking around fully armed. Talking about making their own currency and making their own flag. SPD is talking about abandoning the west precinct now.

“West precinct has the 911 call centre. This is just like the Occupy movement. Soon we will have feces and drugs everywhere and people getting assaulted and raped in the encampments.

“They’ve been relocating everything quietly while the focus has been elsewhere. They know that it’s only a matter of time before these fools have to direct their issues back on the police. Since yesterday, I haven’t seen a single police office or vehicle downtown. Even when they took over city hall, there were no signs of PD at headquarters across the street.”

Mainstream Media Downplays ‘Insanity in Seattle’ as Critics Point out Bias, Hypocrisy

By Fox News. Seattle protesters have declared a six-block area abandoned by law enforcement as “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” but the mainstream media doesn’t seem to think the lawlessness is particularly newsworthy.

CNN only mentioned “Seattle” once on Wednesday when discussing general unrest in major cities, according to a search of transcripts, while MSNBC didn’t cover Seattle on-air at all during the same time period. Both networks finally addressed the situation early on Thursday but only to comment on President Trump tweeting about it. . .

“It has been days since this nonsense had started and the broadcast networks — ABC, CBS, and NBC — have kept it off the air,” Fondacaro wrote on Wednesday night. . .

DePauw University professor and media critic Jeffrey McCall feels the “chaos in Seattle is basically the next step in the movement to defund the police” and “generally dismantle” institutional structures and norms – but it doesn’t fit the media’s agenda.

“The traditional media loved covering those earlier protest stories because of their dramatic, sensational, and counter-cultural tone. But the escalation of the Seattle demonstrations into the actual closing of a portion of the city is a bridge too far for even a sympathetic media to cover with an approving nod,” McCall told Fox News.

WATCH: Police Officer Suspended After Speaking out Against ‘Tyrannical’ Lockdown Enforcement

A Port of Seattle police officer has been suspended by his department, after he posted a video message on social media speaking out against law enforcement officers in the U.S. who are enforcing what he called “tyrannical orders” imposed amid coronavirus lockdowns.

Officer Greg Anderson, a Special Forces veteran, posted a video on Instagram last week directed at his fellow officers across the nation, expressing his concerns.

“I’ve seen officers nationwide enforcing tyrannical orders against the people and I’m hoping it’s the minority of officers, but I’m not sure anymore,” Anderson said. “Because every time I turn on the television, every time I look to the internet, I’m seeing people arrested or cited for going to church, for traveling on the roadways, for going surfing, opening their businesses, going to park with their families, or doing nails out of their own house—using their own house as a business and having special agents go there and arrest them.” . . .

Port of Seattle Police Chief Rod Covey confirmed Anderson’s paid suspension in a statement on the department’s website, writing, “Greg has always had the ability to express his opinions on what is going on in the country like all other Americans. However, he is not allowed to do so while on duty, wearing our uniform, wearing our badge and while driving our patrol car.”

WATCH: Numerous Injured, One Dead in Seattle Shooting

A gunman opened fire in Downtown Seattle around 5 p.m. PST Wednesday evening near Third Avenue and Pine Street. According to Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best, one person died and seven others were injured. The gunman is still on the loose.

MyNorthwest has the latest on the victims being treated at Harborview Medical Center

One victim died at the scene, said to be a woman between age of 40 and 50. Among those injured included a 9-year-old boy, who is in serious condition. The other shooting victims were: a 55-year-old woman in critical condition; a 35-year-old man in stable condition; a 21-year-old man in stable condition; and a 34-year-old man in stable condition. All seven injured victims are being treated at Harborview Medical Center

At Least 750 Seattle-Area Students Will Not Be Permitted to Attend School Because of Vaccinations

At least 750 Seattle students without up-to-date vaccination records could be excluded from being able to attend school, according to the local school district.

In a Tuesday news release, a spokesperson for Seattle Public Schools said that parents should not send their children to schools, beginning Wednesday, if they did not comply with turning in updated vaccination records or exemptions, if applicable.

The statement said: “If students without updated immunization records arrive at school, they will be placed in a designated room or space and the child’s family will be contacted to come pick them up. Once immunization compliance is achieved, students may return to school.”

In December, the district announced Wednesday as the deadline for parents to provide such documentation. As of December, at least 2,200 district students had incomplete vaccination records. The number had been reduced to 980 by Tuesday afternoon.

On Tuesday, the district shared a reminder on its Twitter page, writing, “We want all students safe, healthy, and learning. Make sure your student’s immunization records are up to date by Jan. 8. Per state law, students without updated records will be excluded from school. Once in compliance, students may return to school.”

Seattle Homelessness Conference Featured Transgender Stripper (VIDEO)

A conference on solving homelessness in Seattle featured a transgender stripper.

Video from the Dec. 9 event surfaced Saturday on Twitter, showing the stripper, who goes by the name Beyoncé Black St. James, twerking on and kissing attendees.

“Last week, Seattle and King County leaders hired transgender stripper Beyoncé Black St. James to perform at their annual conference on solving homelessness,” City Journal editor Christopher Rufo, a former Seattle City Council candidate, wrote in a tweet Saturday. “Here’s how they’re using taxpayer money,” he added, alongside video from the performance. . .

The annual event was organized by All Home, the coordinating agency for homelessness in King County, which includes the city of Seattle, where the event took place, The Seattle Times reported. The agency’s director, Kira Zylstra, has been put on paid leave pending an investigation, according to the paper, which noted Zylstra earns roughly $123,000 a year. Violent Robbery Reported at Burger Joint Was Actually a Racially Motivated Hoax to Avoid Deportation

Law enforcement officials say that a violent assault and robbery reported at a SeaTac burger restaurant was actually a hoax with a racial component perpetrated in order to obtain immigration visas for the participants.

A customer walked into the Bob’s Burgers and Teriyaki restaurant to find employees and customers tied up. They said that they had been robbed by two masked men who also sexually assaulted two females.

When police interviewed the witnesses, they began to notice discrepancies in their stories. . .

“Make no mistake, false reporting is a crime,” police said. “Falsely reporting a violent crime puts officers and the public at risk and, in this case, it undermines the true intent of the U-Visa program – to protect real victims, mostly women, of violent crime and human trafficking.”

The participants are accused of staging the hoax in order to help them avoid deportation and apply to the U-Visa program, which is intended to give legal status to immigrants who aid police investigating crimes.

Sign of the Times: Seattle Adults Pay Money to Pretend to Be Children for a Day

From the progressive city of Seattle comes an invitation for grown adults to regress back into childhood for a day at the park. On Saturday, August 3, Center Stage Event Marketing invites grown-ups to ditch their kids, forget their phones, and attend “Adult Recess” for a seven hour event where folks are welcome to act like they are a kid again. . .

The Seattle Times reports that portions of the event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House, but that the main purpose of the day is “to create an event that dropped attendees straight into their elementary-school playground — with the addition of beer. ”

Likewise, “The event will go beyond the physical activities surrounding recess. There will be ’80s and ’90s music, and food trucks with childhood favorites — peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, mac and cheese, and ice cream.” . . .

Far be it for me to judge how any grown adult spends his or her time. This is America and they can do whatever they want. But it is little concerning as a society that there are full-on camps for adults to pretend to be like children. Isn’t there a responsibility for adults to not act like children, let alone pay to pretend to be one, so that the next generation can have role models? Furthermore, isn’t this idea purely self-centered? Rather than take children, your own or other kids, to go and enjoy the wonders of life — grownups are paying to play make-believe that they can simply shirk adulthood? Wouldn’t it be better to experience “nostalgia” to teach boys and girls the games that you played growing up? Again, people can spend their money how they want to, but it sure seems like this is a defining mark of an unserious country filled with unserious people. Yoga Instructor Teaches Classes to Undo Whiteness

By Breitbart. A Seattle yoga instructor is teaching a class that is aimed at “Undoing Whiteness,” by showing white yoga students how white supremacy is present in their “body, mind and heart.”

The class is taught by Laura Humpf, a yoga teacher of 15 years who claims that the class known as “Undoing Whiteness,” will teach students how to “unpack the harmful ways white supremacy is embedded” in the culture.

“I do stand behind white people needing to talk to other white people on how to undo whiteness,” Humpf told the Seattle Times. “Can I keep refining it and doing it differently and better? Yeah, and I will forever and ever. But I believe in this space as one tool.” . . .

“I was seeing white people show up in yoga spaces in racist ways,” Humpf explained. Particularly irksome to Humpf, was witnessing white yoga instructors make racially insensitive jokes.

Seattle Yoga Teacher’s ‘Undoing Whiteness’ Class

By The Seattle Times. . .This spring, Humpf publicized an “Undoing Whiteness” yoga class at Rainier Beach Yoga, geared toward white people wishing to “unpack the harmful ways white supremacy is embedded” in their “body, mind and heart.” Along with providing a contemplative space, the class would dissect the “pathology of whiteness” — an obliviousness to the batch of privileges society grants white skin — and how it operates in daily life. . .

After posting the “Undoing Whiteness” class on neighborhood Facebook groups, some responded that Humpf had “lost her mind.” Others interpreted the class as “a bunch of white people” getting together to discuss their “white shame” without consulting people of color, and one equated it with embarking on a pub crawl to tackle alcoholism. Seattle Residents Complained About a ‘Confederate Flag.’ It Was Actually the Flag of Norway.

Over the weekend the Seattle Times jumped at a news tip: there was a Confederate flag flying beneath the American flag in the city’s Greenwood neighborhood, and residents were very concerned.

Only, it turns out, it wasn’t the Confederate flag at all. It was the state flag of Norway, and a group of friendly Norwegians were just trying to show their patriotism and support for their Olympic Team when their very concerned neighbors contacted local media.

“Hi. Suddenly there is a Confederate flag flying in front of a house in my Greenwood neighborhood. It is at the north-east corner of 92nd and Palatine, just a block west of 92nd and Greenwood Ave N.,” the tipster wrote, according to the Times. “I would love to know what this ‘means’ … but of course don’t want to knock on their door. Maybe others in the area are flying the flag? Maybe it’s a story? Thank you.”

Eager to get the scoop, reporters for the Seattle Times hopped into a car and hightailed it to view the offending flag for themselves. Only, it turned out, they weren’t in for quite the controversial sighting they’d anticipated.

Seattle’s ‘Gay’ Mayor Resigns After 5th Child-Rape Allegation

For five months, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray rejected calls for his resignation amid allegations he sexually abused teens decades before entering politics.

But Murray couldn’t withstand a devastating new allegation from within his own family.

He announced his resignation Tuesday, hours after news emerged that a younger cousin was publicly accusing Murray of molesting him in New York in the 1970s.
