Bad Bunny Slammed for Controversial Super Bowl Halftime Show Decision That ‘Encourages’ Division

Bad Bunny closed his Super Bowl LX halftime show with a message of purported unity, “together we are America” — but keen-eyed critics quickly slammed the song-and-dance act as a divisive and “degenerate” performance.

And the Puerto Rican star made no effort in his Spanish-only performance to include the 78% of American households that speak only English.

Bad Bunny previously taunted that anyone annoyed with his selection as halftime performer had “four months to learn Spanish.”

“Expanding to the Latino audience is one thing. Doing a show EXCLUSIVELY for the Latino audience? They’re gonna hear about this one,” “Sopranos” and E Street Band legend Steven Van Zandt groused via X.

“I’m sorry, no subtitles was a bad decision and an insult to the audience. Subtitles would have been ‘countering division,’ having none encourages it.” (Read more from “Bad Bunny Slammed for Controversial Super Bowl Halftime Show Decision That ‘Encourages’ Division” HERE)

White House Adviser Says ICE Agents will Attend the Super Bowl: ‘We Will Deport You’

Corey Lewandowski, an adviser at the Department of Homeland Security, said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will be present at the Super Bowl after the NFL selected staunchly Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, an outspoken critic of ICE, to lead the halftime show.

As Breitbart News reported, Bad Bunny has expressed staunchly anti-ICE views and even previously pledged not to perform in the United States in protest of the Trump administration.

“Honest, I can’t risk the safety of my fans like that. Mainland America just doesn’t feel necessary to me anymore,” Bad Bunny said prior to the NFL tapping him for the halftime show. “I’ve already performed there many times. Fans in the U.S. have had plenty of chances to see me perform live.”

The singer also told i-D Magazine last month that he feared ICE raids at his U.S. concerts.

“But there was the issue of — like, fucking ICE could be outside [my concerts]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about,” he said.

WATCH: Rowdy Eagles Fans Clash With Police, Destroy Property as Super Bowl Chaos Descends on Philly

Thousands of Eagles fans spilled out of bars and onto the streets of Philadelphia Sunday night after watching their team defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX.

The city had opted not to grease the light poles even though a fan died two weeks ago after falling from a light pole after the NFC Championship Game. Despite that tragedy, Eagles fans showed no hesitation in climbing to the top of light poles, cars, construction vehicles, garbage trucks, small buildings, and almost anything else they could find.

Some fans clashed with and taunted police as officers attempted to keep the crowd confined to certain areas and under control.

Faith on Display at the Super Bowl, Players ‘Just Giving Glory to God’

The traditional Super Bowl opening night kicked off on Monday, and CBN Sports was there to talk to some of the players from the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. . .

Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes said, “It’s important to me every single day. It’s not about football, it’s just giving glory to God for being able to walk around and live my life, to have a beautiful family, to be able to have the impact on others and I’m going to use that stage and that platform win or lose to give glory back to Him, to hopefully bring others closer to Him and that they can have the same love for life that I have because of that.”

Chiefs Wide Receiver Justin Watson said, “It’s humbling. Kind of each day and especially each game I just say ‘God use me for your glory’ and that doesn’t mean winning football games always but just to be in a position and this platform and knowing it’s by His grace and His providence is just, is just know that He’s treating me much better than anything I deserve.”

Eagles Tight End Dallas Goedert said, “I believe. I’m a Christian, and it’s so, it’s so important to have a solid foundation and that, my mom instilled that in me. And you know all credit goes out to Him. And you know I’m just so blessed that He’s been giving me this opportunity you know to show the skills that He gave me on such a big platform.” (Read more from “Faith on Display at the Super Bowl, Players ‘Just Giving Glory to God'” HERE)

Jesus Takes Center Stage at Super Bowl LIX

Super Bowl LIX is shaping up to be a continuation of an emerging trend: football players becoming outspoken advocates for their Christian faith.

Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles players spoke about the importance of their belief in Jesus and the Gospel during a series of interviews with Sports Spectrum this week.

When asked by Sports Spectrum’s Annabelle Hasselbeck who Jesus is to him, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes replied, “Jesus is my Lord and Savior. It’s someone that I look up to every single day to decide what I want to do with my life and how I want to live my life. And so, Jesus is everything to me at the end of the day.”

Mahomes’ counterpart, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, has long professed his faith in Jesus.

“I’ve always wanted to root myself in that and keep Him in the center of my life in everything I do,” Hurts told Sports Spectrum’s Matt Forte. “Through the highs and the lows, He’s greater than all of them.”

Super Bowl Champ Turns Left-Wing Talking Point on Its Head, Points Out What Really Matters: We Need Strong Fathers

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker recalled the deadly shooting at the team’s Super Bowl parade in a recent interview.

Disc jockey Lisa Lopez-Galvan was killed and nearly two dozen others were wounded in last month’s shooting. Three men are facing federal gun charges in the incident.

The Super Bowl champion was asked in an interview on EWTN News’ “In Depth” about gun violence and how to curb it in the wake of the shooting.

“I had to do a lot of thinking about what took place at the parade. I know that gun violence was a big discussion, but at the end of the day this is degenerative violence, and it should not be occurring,” Butker said. “I think we need strong fathers in the home. We need men that are leading, that are setting good examples, that are teaching the young men in our society that violence is not the way to handle our disputes.

“It’s very unfortunate what happened. Unfortunately, many, many children were injured. A beautiful young lady was killed over someone getting offended and turning to violence to handle that dispute. It’s so sad. I don’t think guns are the issue. I think we need fathers in the home that are being great examples for our youth.” (Read more from “Super Bowl Champ Turns Left-Wing Talking Point on Its Head, Points Out What Really Matters: We Need Strong Fathers” HERE)

Female Rapper Sparks Controversy at Super Bowl With Satanic Jewelry and Symbols

Rapper Ice Spice found herself at the center of a social media storm after attending Sunday’s Super Bowl alongside her friend Taylor Swift. While supporting Taylor’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, the 24-year-old artist’s outfit and disturbing actions during the game drew attention and criticism from fans.

Ice Spice’s ensemble for the Las Vegas event featured an all-black outfit, with a top from the brand Balenciaga. The brand ignited controversy in 2022 for sick campaigns featuring children holding bondage-wrapped teddy bears. However, it was her choice of accessories that stirred controversy, particularly the upside-down cross necklace she wore, which caught the eye of viewers.

@matcrackz WHY IS ICE SPICE SATANIC NOW ? 😭 #reaction #superbowl #icespice #taylorswift ♬ Spooky, quiet, scary atmosphere piano songs – Skittlegirl Sound

During the game, fans observed Ice Spice making horn symbols with her hands in a satanic gesture. Social media, notably X (formerly Twitter), became a platform for fans to express their disapproval of Ice Spice’s outfit and actions.

Critics voiced their concerns, with one commentator stating, “Nothing to see here, just Taylor Swift’s guest Ice Spice throwing up demonic signs while wearing an upside-down cross making sure the world sees it on the big screen.”

Others questioned the symbolism, with a social media user pointing out the Balenciaga logo on her shirt and another expressing discomfort with the overall display.

Another lip reader told the Daily Mail that Kelce screamed, “Keep me in. You f–ker! I’m calm now!”
