This Dem State Senator Says She Focuses on ‘Real Issues’—Like Twerking

Democratic Rhode Island state senator Tiara Mack on Thursday posted a series of flyers saying she will “twerk for trans rights,” among other reasons.

Mack was responding to a video posted on Monday by influential Twitter account “Libs of TikTok” that shows the state senator “twerking”—dancing in a provocative manner that involves shaking her butt and thrusting her hips. Mack in response blasted “the media” for “trying not to cover the real issues.”

“Not on MY watch,” she wrote. “I #TwerkFor joy, abortion justice, body autonomy, trans rights, and intersex rights.” She then posted the flyers.

While Mack will likely win reelection in her heavily Democratic state Senate district, Democrats face a surprisingly tough race in one of the deep-blue state’s congressional districts. Republican Allan Fung is polling ahead of all potential Democratic nominees in Rhode Island’s Second Congressional District, a seat the GOP has not held for 30 years. Youth ‘Community Organizer’ Drag Queen Charged With Child Porn

Multiple times already, various judicial authorities have brought criminal charges against those drag queen personalities who frequently are given the run of public libraries, or even schools, to read stories of sexual deviance to children.

Now, a case has appeared that involves “one of Pennsylvania’s popular drag queens,” according to a report at The Gateway Pundit.

The report said the state attorney general’s office has accused a “community organizer,” Brice Williams, who performs under the stage name Anastasia Diamond, of downloading dozens of illegal photos and images.

Fox 43 in the state reports Williams apparently was a “community activist for LGBTQ+ youth in the Harrisburg area.”

State Moves to Restrict Transgender Surgeries for Minors

Alabama is moving to prohibit transgender medication and surgeries for minors just days after the landmark Supreme Court case overturning Roe v. Wade.

The state is among the first to cite Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization to argue for banning sex-change surgery for minors, according to the Associated Press. Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall’s office is asking for the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to lift an injunction to allow Alabama to enforce a state law making it a felony to give puberty blockers or hormones to minors, arguing transitioning for minors is not a constitutional right or “deeply rooted in our history or traditions.”

Early this spring, Alabama’s state legislature passed a bill criminalizing sex-changing procedures for minors in the state, which was then signed by Gov. Kay Ivey (R) before a federal judge issued a preliminary injunction blocking the measure.

Alabama could be at the forefront of other states pursuing a similar course of action. Last week, the Texas GOP adopted a platform that included support for banning transgender medication and surgery for minors, along with forbidding “Drag Queen Story Hour” events at Texas schools and libraries. An Indonesian woman filed a lawsuit against her former husband of ten months after learning he is actually a woman—despite engaging in intimacy several times, according to local media reports.

NA, 22, first met her ex-husband — who used the name Ahnaf Arrafif on a dating app — in Jambi City, the capital and largest city in the Indonesian province of Jambi. However, local media reports Arrafif’s real name is Erayani.

Erayani and NA developed an online relationship before dating in person. . .

Tribun News reported, NA’s parents gave Erayani permission to marry their daughter after several weeks of dating. However four months after tying the knot, the family became suspicious of the NA’s “husband” questioning why they never met Erayani’s family or why “he” never removed clothing—even when bathing. . .

At some point during the short marriage, NA confronted her ex-partner’s lumps on Erayani’s chest, which “he” claimed was a hormonal problem. The Tide Is Finally Turning Towards Fairness In Women’s Sports

. . .In recent years, girls and women in sports have come under attack as a result of an aggressive, well-funded campaign to allow boys and men who identify as girls and women to compete in female sports, in the name of transgender rights. University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas, a male who competed in men’s swimming then last year started swimming on the women’s team after identifying as female, has most notoriously dominated women’s swimming after the NAACP allowed Thomas to compete in women’s swimming.

Too often, athletes, parents, and sports organizations who disagree with males in women’s sports have cowered or stayed silent in the face of this controversy because shaming naysayers as “transphobic” is a tactic of activists on this issue, just as “racist” and “Islamophobic” are weaponized to silence people on issues of race and religion.

But that is now finally changing. Earlier this week, the International Swimming Federation (FINA) voted to approve a new policy restricting most transgender athletes from competing in elite women’s aquatic competitions. Then on Wednesday, the International Rugby League ruled that transgender athletes cannot compete in women’s sports,

A mother in Australia, Katherine Deves, expressed relief, writing on Twitter: “I am relieved and delighted my daughter’s sport is now safe and fair at [the] elite level.”

Transgender Veterans Still Waiting On VA’s Promise of Surgery Options

One year after Veterans Affairs officials announced they would take steps to provide gender confirmation surgeries for transgender veterans, no procedures have been completed and none are likely to be scheduled for months to come.

Department officials said they are still going through the rulemaking process, with no stated schedule for its end. VA does not currently provide any gender confirmation surgery options for veterans.

The long timeline following the high-profile announcement of the news last summer — during Pride month — has left some veterans advocates frustrated and worried that the promise may not even be fulfilled.

“The clock is ticking,” said Lindsay Church, executive director of Minority Veterans of America.

“I understand the reasons behind the delay and the desire to make sure it is implemented fully, so it can’t just be overturned by a later administration. Global Sports Authority Incentivizes Child Sex Changes

The international governing body for competitive swimming, FINA, is facing criticism for a new policy that could incentivize children to pursue sex changes.

FINA’s new gender inclusion policy, enacted Sunday, requires transgender competitors who wish to compete in women’s events to have transitioned by age 12. 71.5% of FINA members voted in favor of the new policy, which will also apply to collegiate competitions sanctioned by the NCAA.

Voices on both sides of the transgender athlete debate criticized the new policy. LGBT rights advocates said the policy was effectively a ban on [transgenders] from competing in women’s events. Proponents claimed the policy was long past due, because biological men who transitioned to being female after beginning puberty have a competitive advantage over biological women also competing.

The Science on Brain Development Rebukes Those Pushing Gender Transition on Kids

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is currently considering publishing regulations that will push for potentially irreversible medical and surgical interventions for people with gender dysphoria in the name of health care. In April, HHS Assistant Secretary Rachel L. Levine stated “gender affirming care is medical care” and included children and adolescents in that equation.

Levine also reaffirmed a principle articulated by Hippocrates that physicians should do no harm. Can a physician provide interventions like potentially sterilizing hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents without doing harm? Research on adolescent brain development and decision-making indicates these two concepts are contradictory.

Our society is encouraging adolescents to make crucial decisions with lifelong consequences as research continues to document the immaturity of the adolescent brain. It does not utilize the strategizing and planning center, the prefrontal cortex, in the same manner as adults.

The American College of Pediatricians, of which I am a board member, just published a new position statement entitled “The Teenage Brain: Under Construction” with research showing that adolescents’ brains are not developed enough to make sound decisions, and this should inform potential medical and surgical interventions on minors with gender dysphoria because of their lifelong consequences.

Neuroscientists studying decision-making have found adolescents are much more likely to rely upon emotions and peer pressure and less likely to consider future consequences. Researchers now talk about two systems for decision-making in the brain: a socioemotional system and a cognitive-control system. Transgender Health Org Pushing Children to Transition ‘Even Younger’

Despite the harmful consequences of early sex reassignment treatments, a transgender health association is now lowering its recommended ages for children to begin permanently altering their bodies.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health previously had guidelines recommending transgender children begin hormone treatments at age 16 at the earliest. Now they’re lowering it to age 14.

Many of the effects of hormone replacement treatments are entirely permanent. A UCSF study says:

Biden Announces Expansion of Access to Sex Changes for Children

President Joe Biden will sign a “historic” executive order Wednesday ordering the Department of Health and Human Services to expand efforts to increase the ability of Americans (including children) who identify as transgender to obtain sex-change surgeries.

“President Biden believes that no one should face discrimination because of who they are or whom they love. Since President Biden took office, he has championed the rights of LGBTQI+ Americans and people around the world, accelerating the march towards full equality,” the Biden administration said in a fact sheet issued June 15.

The executive order will address the slew of Republican legislation banning transgender surgeries for minors and biological males from girls’ spaces — legislation dubbed by the Biden administration as “legislative attacks against LGBTQI+ children and families.”

It will also “crack down” on conversion therapy, which the Biden administration describes as “a discredited and dangerous practice that seeks to suppress or change the sexual orientation or gender identity of LGBTQI+ people,” ordering HHS to “explore guidance to clarify that federally-funded programs cannot offer so-called ‘conversion therapy.’”

“Over 300 anti-LGBTQI+ laws have been introduced in state legislatures over the past year, and many of them specifically target transgender children and their parents by banning access to medical care and support at school,” the Biden administration fact sheet said. “President Biden is addressing these harmful, hateful, and discriminatory attacks head-on – not only by speaking up for America’s families, but taking action to stand up to the bullies targeting LGBTQI+ people.” (Read more from “Biden Announces Expansion of Access to Sex Changes for Children” HERE)
