Companies Pledge Boycott of Georgia Over ‘Heartbeat’ Abortion Law

Three film industry companies thus far say they will no longer shoot in Georgia unless the state’s new “Heartbeat” abortion law is repealed.

David Simon’s Blown Deadline Productions, Killer Films CEO Christine Vachon, and Mark Duplass have vowed to boycott the state, noted Hollywood Reporter.

The three production companies, however, appear to be in the minority when Georgia is considered the “number one filming location in the world,” as Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office’s deputy commissioner reported. . .

The report continued on what occurred after Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed the bill into law Tuesday:

[O]n Tuesday afternoon, there was near silence on social media from those who signed actress Alyssa Milano’s March 28 letter threatening that boycott. On Instagram and Twitter, pro-female voices in Hollywood were more likely posting about last night’s Met Gala or Jessica Chastain’s criticism of the portrayal of rape in “Game of Thrones,” than Georgia’s abortion rights.

Alleged Colorado Juvenile Transgender Shooter Identified

By Breitbart. The alleged juvenile shooter at STEM School Highlands Ranch Tuesday has been identified as Maya McKinney, a girl who is reported to be “transitioning” from female to male, said the Denver Post.

McKinney, 16, who uses the name “Alec,” is being charged under her legal name of Maya Elizabeth.

According to the report, McKinney and the other shooting suspect, Devon Erickson, 18, appeared at Douglas County Courthouse Wednesday. McKinney sat next to her mother, who reportedly remained at the table in the courtroom alone, crying, after her daughter was removed. . .

McKinney’s attorney offered some clarity to his client’s gender identity during the court hearing after Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock identified the Juvenile suspect as a boy immediately after the shooting and then as a girl during an early Wednesday morning news conference.

Suspected STEM School Shooters Appeared in Court While Classroom Heroes Were Lauded by Family and Friends

By The Denver Post. John Castillo stared through teary eyes across a Douglas County courtroom Wednesday at the teens suspected of killing his son when gunfire erupted inside of STEM School Highlands Ranch the day before.

For more than two hours Wednesday, Castillo sat through the initial court hearings for the teens arrested in connection to the shooting. Investigators suspect that the two teens brought handguns into the school of 1,800 students and opened fire inside — killing Castillo’s son, Kendrick, and injuring eight others.

The shooting has once again plummeted the U.S. into discussions about gun violence, access to firearms and school safety. Politicians gave condolences and expressed outrage. Parents wrote online of the fear they felt sending their kids to school. STEM School students still struggled to understand how their calm campus became the most recent example of violent tragedy. Two vigils were held Wednesday night.

One of the shooting suspects, Devon Erickson, sat hunched in his chair throughout his hearing where he was advised of the charges he is being held on. As the proceeding continued, the skinny 18-year-old with shaggy black and pink hair curled farther into himself — his bangs nearly touching the defense table by the end.

Accused Transgender Shooter Demands Court Call Her a “He”

Lawyers for the second suspect in the Colorado school shooting, Maya McKinney, who is listed in court records as a female, asked the court to use the pronoun “he.”

The 16-year-old McKinney is transgender and was transitioning from female to male at the time of Tuesday’s shooting at the STEM School Highlands Ranch in Highlands Ranch, Colo., that left one student dead and eight others wounded. Merriam-Webster Adds Three New Transgender Terms to Dictionary

By The Blaze. Merriam-Webster announced recently that it added hundreds of words to its dictionary, including three transgender terms.

Gender nonconforming, top surgery, and bottom surgery were among the 640 words that made it into the April update.

The more than 190-year-old company said that the revision “mirrors the culture’s need to make sense of the world with words.”

“It all begins, in each case, with evidence of words in use. Each word follows its own path at its own pace before its use is widespread enough to be included in a dictionary,” the company explained on its website. There are always new things to be named and new uses for existing words to be explained. A release of new words is also a map of the workings of a dictionary—you get to see what we’ve been up to—and of how words from different contexts come to reside in the same place. . .

[Some of the newly added words:]

Gender nonconforming: exhibiting behavioral, cultural, or psychological traits that do not correspond with the traits typically associated with one’s sex.

Top surgery: a type of gender confirmation surgery in which a person’s breasts are removed or augmented to match their gender identity.

Bottom surgery: a type of gender confirmation surgery in which a person’s genitalia are altered to match their gender identity.

Transgender Weightlifter Smashes Multiple Women’s World Records in Single Day – Olympic Winners Speak Out

Powerlifter Mary Gregory — a biological male competing as a transgender female — announced Saturday on Instagram setting four women’s world records in one day at a Raw Powerlifting Federation event: Masters world squat, open world bench press, masters world deadlift, and masters world total.

However, a pair of Olympic medalists — who happen to be biological females — decried Gregory’s world record-setting efforts.

First up was former swimmer Sharron Davies who won a silver medal for Great Britain in the 1980 Summer Olympics. Davies — who’s been outspoken against transgender females competing against biological females — tweeted that Gregory has a “male body with male physiology” and that a “woman with female biology cannot compete. It’s a pointless unfair playing field.”

Comedian Bulldozes Through the Talking Points of the Transgender Agenda in Stunning Video

By The Blaze. Comedian Joe Rogan dismantled arguments defending many of the policies advocated by transgender activists in an interview with fellow comedian Adam Conover.

Conover, who is known for his show “Adam Ruins Everything,” defends many transgender positions, while Rogan politely but forcefully pointed out the internal inconsistencies.

“There’s no reason to give kids hormones,” argued Rogan. “And there’s no reason to decide before a person’s frontal lobe is completely fully developed, which doesn’t even take place until they’re 25. . .

“It’s a simple question,” Rogan responded. “If you say that the child thinks it’s a girl, so you’re gonna give the child hormones, if the child thinks it’s a girl, let it be a girl. Why are you adding hormones?

“If you’re shooting hormones into a child,” he explained, “and you’re affecting the child’s development, and you’re saying that’s not a choice, that’s nonsense, of course it’s a choice. Charlize Theron: I Knew My Child Was Transgender at Age 3

By Christian Headlines. Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron says in a new interview that she knew her oldest child was transgender at age three – because the child said so.

The 43-year-old actress is known for her roles in The Fate of the Furious, The Huntsman: Winter’s War and Kubo and the Two Strings, and won an Oscar for the 2003 film Monster.

Theron adopted a biological boy, Jackson, in 2012. But soon, she says, the child made known that he didn’t want to be identified that way.

“Yes, I thought she was a boy, too,” Theron told the Daily Mail newspaper. “Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said: ‘I am not a boy!’ So there you go! U.S. Bill Introduced to Ban Drag Shows From Involving, Sexualizing Children

Lawmakers in Ohio are taking a stand against the sexualization of children by introducing new legislation that would ban drag shows and other sexually-suggestive or explicit performances from using minors.

Introduced by Republican state Rep. Tim Schaffer, House Bill 180 amends Ohio’s child endangerment statute to include involving minors in any material or performance that “suggests a minor is participating or engaging in sexual activity, masturbation, or bestiality.” Adults violating the law could face fines starting at $1,000 and six months in prison.

“Given our heightened focus on human trafficking and the role money plays in trafficking children, I knew I had to take action to make sure this activity does not occur again. We can do better to protect innocent children and we must do better,” Schaffer declared in a statement.

Cleveland.com reported that HB180 is motivated in part by a drag event last December at JD Hendersons, a Lancaster-area bar where 9-year-old drag performer Jacob Measley, a.k.a. “Miss Mae Hem” danced in a suggestive costume while accepting dollar bills from an audience (ostensibly for a charitable event).

On January 30, Lancaster Republican Mayor David Scheffler issued a statement downplaying the incident by stressing that the “minor was fully clothed and was not touched by anyone in the audience,” that his parents were in attendance, that police found “no violations of city ordinances or state laws” and received “no new complaints of this activity” at the bar, and that the bar owners supposedly “did not approve” the activity and promptly banned the drag troupe upon learning about it. Teen Girls Stage School Walkout to Protest Boys in Their Bathroom

The backlash against the relentless assault on nearly every civilizational institution by transgender activists seems to be slowly increasing as ordinary men and women realize the implications of the transgender agenda and the abolition of gender. Muslim parents in the UK pulled hundreds of children out of school, forcing a shutdown of recently-implemented LGBT programming. And as I reported back in February, students are pushing back, signing petitions demanding the return of their gender-segregated bathrooms and even suing their high schools in order to retrieve their right to privacy.

Last week, the debate erupted again in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Two groups of students staged a walkout at Abraham Lincoln High School over bathroom privacy, with the protest being sparked by a girl who stated that her privacy was violated by a biological male who “recently began to identify as a girl” using the female bathroom. She was joined by about twenty other high school girls who left the school at 10:30 AM and began “chanting for privacy in restrooms, saying they don’t want boys transitioning into being girls to be in the restroom with them.” . . .

The 20 girls demanding privacy were confronted by nearly 40 students of mixed gender chanting in favor of state law, which requires schools to allow students to use whichever bathroom they feel most comfortable with, irrespective of the feelings of female students. Many of the girls made their feelings crystal clear.

“We felt very uncomfortable with a male who’s not doing anything to be transgender going into female restrooms,” said Elana Owens. “I believe if you have the male parts you go to the males’ bathroom and if you have the female parts you go to a ladies room and that’s just the way I was raised,” added Brandi Scherlund, almost in tears. Those supporting the so-called right of biological males to use the female bathroom stated that the law is on their side. HIDDEN CAM VIDEO: ‘Pregnant’ Transgender Visits Planned Parenthood!

It’s relatively simple. Planned Parenthood is the self-proclaimed #1 provider of women’s healthcare in the country! They also have released official guidelines to their employees as “inclusivity” in regards to transgender patients… Which flies in the face of biology, and even, yes… actual health services performed.

So we sent in “Stephanie” a “pregnant” transgender to see just how far they’d take it… as well as how far we’ve fallen. Prepare for a bumpy and disturbing ride.

House Democrats Introduce Bill Forcing Schools to Allow Boys on Girls Sports Teams

A large number of Democrat politicians in Congress want to take away the power of local schools to make their own rules, regarding gender and sports. House Democrats overwhelmingly voted for a bill on Wednesday, that would force all schools to allow boys who claim to be transgender, to compete against natural-born female competitors.

All but one of the 235 members of the Democrat caucus along with two left-wing Republicans are co-sponsoring a bill they are calling the “Equality Act.” The bill would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to force schools to allow transgenders to play on school sports teams that correspond to their “chosen” gender. . .

Transgender “girls” competing against natural-born girls is an especially thorny issue that has riled schools across the country.

In Texas, for instance, Mack Beggs, a student from Euless, Texas, claims to be transitioning from female to male using doses of testosterone but has been allowed to compete against girls in school wrestling. Perhaps unsurprisingly, and to much criticism, Beggs has easily defeated every female competitor met on the mats.

In another case, a student born a male assuming the identity of a girl has beaten all female contestants in Track & Field competitions in Alaska. And in another incident, a student born male but claiming to be female has consistently beaten all female contestants in track events in a Connecticut high school district. Clinicians Quit Transgender Clinic Over Concerns About Controversial Treatments on Kids as Young as 3

By The Blaze. Five former clinicians who worked at the National Health Service’s transgender therapy clinics in England have quit their jobs over ethical concerns and harms caused by controversial treatments prescribed to children as young as 3 years old.

The former staffers told the Times that they believed the Gender Identity Development Service had haphazardly diagnosed children with gender dysphoria and that they felt pressured into prescribing harmful hormone therapy to block the onset of puberty. . .

Each of the unidentified former employees said they were members of a team of clinicians who would determine whether or not to prescribe irreversible and harmful treatments for children.

They also alleged that many of the children diagnosed with gender dysphoria at the clinic were more likely gay kids who were victims of homophobic bullying. . .

At 16, the clinic prescribed a mix of sex hormones to help them develop the physical characteristics that match their preferred gender identity, the former employees told the Times. Calls to End Transgender ‘Experiment on Children’

By The Times. The only NHS gender clinic for children is risking a “live experiment” by sending hundreds for life-changing medical intervention without sufficient evidence of its long-term effects, experts have warned.

The Times has spoken to five clinicians who resigned from the service because of concerns over the treatment of vulnerable children who come to the clinic presenting as transgender.

They believe that some gay children struggling with their sexuality are being wrongly diagnosed as “transgender” by the Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) clinic.

All five former staff were responsible for deciding which trans-identifying youngsters should be given hormone blockers to halt their sexual development.
