British Ambassador to U.S. Resigns After Trump’s Wrath

The British ambassador to the United States resigned Wednesday after leaked memos showed he called the Trump administration “inept.”

“Since the leak of official documents from this Embassy there has been a great deal of speculation surrounding my position and the duration of my remaining term as ambassador,” Kim Darroch said in a letter released by the Foreign Office. “I want to put an end to that speculation. The current situation is making it impossible for me to carry out my role as I would like.”

He continued: “Although my posting is not due to end until the end of this year, I believe in the current circumstances the responsible course is to allow the appointment of a new ambassador.” . .

“I have been very critical about the way the U.K. and Prime Minister Theresa May handled Brexit. What a mess she and her representatives have created. I told her how it should be done, but she decided to go another way. I do not know the Ambassador, but he is not liked or well thought of within the U.S. We will no longer deal with him,” he tweeted. “The good news for the wonderful United Kingdom is that they will soon have a new Prime Minister. While I thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent State Visit last month, it was the Queen who I was most impressed with!”

Queen’s Pedophile Driver Dies Before Facing Justice

A chauffeur to the queen who admitted sexually abusing two young boys, and carried out one of the attacks at Buckingham Palace, has died before he could be charged with the crimes, despite reportedly admitting his guilt to British police.

The Sun reports that Alwyn Stockdale molested a boy of 10 at his royal household quarters in Buckingham Palace and also sexually assaulted a second boy, aged 14, at a relative’s home in the 1970s.

Stockdale, 81, admitted the attacks, which took place in the 1970s, but he died in hospital last week before he could be prosecuted, The Sun said.

The paper reports that it took 19 months for Metropolitan Police officers to trace Stockdale after a man in his fifties claimed he assaulted him when he was 10 and Stockdale was a trusted staff member in close contact with the queen and living at Buckingham Palace Mews. He later lived in a cottage on the Windsor estate, a reward often given by the royals to particularly well-liked servants. . .

A source told The Sun: “The victims are understandably upset that Stockdale will not face justice. They’ve lived with what he did all their adult lives. There are questions over why it took so long for police to identify and get round to questioning Stockdale. Police Dept. Mocked for Asking Citizens to Report Crimes Like ‘Offensive or Insulting Comments’

Not only do police in the U.K. remove screwdrivers and scissors during a “weapons sweep,” they also ask their fellow citizens to report on “hate crimes,” like “offensive or insulting comments.”

In a tweet that genuinely has to be seen to be believed, the South Yorkshire police in Britain implored their followers to report “insulting comments” whether in word or in written form, as part of an anti-hate campaign.

“In addition to reporting hate crime, please report non-crime hate incidents, which can include things like offensive or insulting comments, online, in person or in writing,” the blue check marked tweet “reads. “Hate will not be tolerated in South Yorkshire. Report it and put a stop to it #HateHurtsSY”

Girl, Four, Died Hours After Doctors Sent Her Home – but Would Have Lived With Antibiotics

A four-year-old girl who died from a meningococcal infection would have lived if she been given antibiotics in hospital hours before her death, an inquest heard.

Little Gracie Foster went into Chesterfield Royal Hospital, in Derbyshire, for a routine tonsil removal operation three years ago. . .

Giving evidence yesterday, he [Dr Ubhi] said the checks came after being told Gracie had been diagnosed with tonsillitis and discharged from hospital following the cancellation of her operation.

Dr Ubhi said that had it been a full referral then he would have checked Gracie’s full medical history and carried out further examinations and observations and she would have been kept in hospital. . .

Bombshell Interview: Trump Unleashes on British Leader – and It’s Really Bad

By The Blaze. President Trump criticized British Prime Minister Theresa May’s handling of Brexit negotiations — and says a US trade deal with the UK may be now be off the table. . .

Trump noted that recent cabinet resignations in May’s administration stemmed from opposition to her plan, which is seen by critics as keeping the government too closely aligned with the EU — after Brits voted to operate their own independent economy starting eight months from now.

Speaking about the prime minister’s strategy, President Trump said, “I would have done it much differently. I actually told Theresa May how to do it, but she didn’t listen to me.”

He added, “If they do a deal like that, we would be dealing with the European Union instead of dealing with the UK, so it will probably kill the deal,” and, “if they do that, then their trade deal with the US will probably not be made.”

Government Fires Doctor for Refusing to Identify Transgender Patients by Their Chosen Pronouns

The National Health Service in the United Kingdom fired a Christian doctor who refused to identify transgender patients by their chosen pronouns.

David Mackereth, who worked for the NHS for 26 years, told the Telegraph that the British government denied him his rights to freedom of speech based on his faith.

Mackereth had been training to become a health and disability assessor for the Department for Work and Pensions when the instructor stated that all clients and patients interviewed and reported on must be addressed by their preferred gender.

“I said that I had a problem with this. I believe that gender is defined by biology and genetics. And that as a Christian the Bible teaches us that God made humans male or female. I could have kept my mouth shut. But it was the right time to raise it,” Mackereth told the Telegraph. “The tutor took me aside and said he had passed my comments up the chain to the DWP.” . . .

“I’m not attacking the transgender movement. But, I’m defending my right to freedom of speech, and freedom of belief,” Mackareth said. “I don’t believe I should be compelled to use a specific pronoun. I am not setting out to upset anyone. Despite Near-Total Knife Ban, UK Mom and Baby Stabbed in Broad Daylight

In the latest in a series of horrifying crimes involving knife attacks in the United Kingdom, a Pakistani national is accused of stabbing his estranged wife and their 11-month-old son.

Authorities say Rehan Khan, 25, attacked Salma Khan and their infant son with a knife Monday at the home near London where Salma Khan and their four children were living.

The 11-month-old baby remains in a critical condition. The mother, 32, is hospitalized but expected to recover.

A friend of Salma Khan claimed Rehan Khan faced being deported from the U.K. over a previous alleged attack.

The victim’s friend claimed Khan’s application for a UK visa application was rejected five days ago, in part because of Salma Khan’s accusations of domestic abuse.

“She reported he used to be a beater and harasser in the past and the court rejected (his application),” the friend told the Daily Mail.

Salma Khan is reportedly a British national who is originally from Belgium.

The friend claims she saw the suspect leaving the crime scene.

“I saw him run away, he ran so fast. I just saw blood. He carried on to the motorway,” the witness said. “He didn’t injure the other kids. He tried to kill her and kill her son, of course [her other sons] said ‘don’t kill my mummy.’

“(Salma) didn’t even have time to raise a panic alarm. she didn’t give that chance to be rescued.”

Although Britain has strict gun control laws, knives have become the weapon of choice. Britain’s Office of National Statistics showed that in September 2017, knife crime had risen 21 percent over the past year.

Skyrocketing crime rates are documented by data, Breitbart reported. The London Assembly Police and Crime Committee reported the city’s murder rate has increased 44 percent through March.

Other crimes also rose. London data showed a roughly 33 percent increase in violent robbery and burglary, a 30 percent increase in youth killings, and an 18 percent increase in rapes. Shootings rose 23 percent, the report said.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has said the rise in crime is due to spending cuts by Britain’s government.

In response to the rise in crime, British officials have sought to impose knife control and ban the delivery of some kinds of knives to private addresses, the Independent has reported. First They Came for the Guns, Then the Knives, Now They’re Coming For…

By The Daily Caller. The U.K. will become the first country to ban plastic straws in hopes of saving the environment from plastic waste.

U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May announced Wednesday to criminalize the use of all plastic waste by 2042. The ban includes stirrers and cotton swabs, two of the major causes of environmental disaster, according to May.

“Plastic waste is one of the greatest environmental challenges facing the world, which is why protecting the marine environment is central to our agenda at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting,” May said in the statement announcing the ban.

England has already foisted excessive fees on plastic bags in the name of protecting the climate. London, for its part, is also taking part in the campaign to ban items deemed too dangerous for use.

The UK Plans to Ban Plastic Straws as Early as Next Year

By Buzzfeed News. UK Prime Minister Theresa May announced plans on Wednesday to ban plastic straws as early as next year, which would make Britain the first nation to do so.

The plastic straw ban, which would also include stirrers and cotton swabs, is part of an effort to eliminate all plastic waste by 2042, which the prime minister announced in January. England has already banned microbeads and put fees on plastic bags, which has substantially reduced their use.

Now May hopes to encourage Commonwealth nations — 53 countries that are mostly former British colonies — at a meeting in London next week to join in on the plastic straw ban.

“Plastic waste is one of the greatest environmental challenges facing the world, which is why protecting the marine environment is central to our agenda at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting,” May said in the announcement.

British Police Responding to ‘Major Incident’ Involving Explosion

On Sunday, police in the U.K. responded to a reported explosion in Leicester that local police deemed was a “major incident.”

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue said six fire engines were dispatched to the incident which is currently being treated as a search-and-rescue mission as a hazmat team is also on scene, the Associated Press reported.

Developer Must Build Gay Bar in New Development, or It Won’t Get Building Permit

A U.K. City Council has ordered a private company that it cannot build luxury flats and offices on a site it recently purchased that included a closed gay-bar unless it agrees to include a new gay bar as part of the development plan.

Tower Hamlets Council ordered earlier this month that developers Regal Homes must build a gay bar that will “remain a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender-focused venue for a minimum of 12 years,” regardless of its ability to stay economically afloat.

The bar will only be deemed ‘complete’ once it passes an inspection from the mayor’s office who will make sure it is sufficiently “gay.” Standards for determining “gayness” were not disclosed.

“I am delighted that as a council we are leading the way in using innovative ways to protect spaces such as the Joiners Arms site,” said Tower Hamlets Mayor John Biggs.
