By Daily Wire. On Sunday, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky sparked outrage when he compared the Russian invasion of Ukraine to the Holocaust during a speech to the Israeli government.

“This Russian invasion of Ukraine is not just a military operation, as Moscow claims. This is a large-scale and treacherous war aimed at destroying our people. Destroying our children, our families. Our state. Our cities. Our communities. Our culture. And everything that makes Ukrainians Ukrainians. Everything that Russian troops are now destroying. Deliberately. In front of the whole world,” Zelensky said. “That is why I have the right to this parallel and to this comparison. Our history and your history. Our war for our survival and World War II.” . .

“I appreciate the President of Ukraine and support the Ukrainian people in heart and deed, but it is impossible to rewrite the terrible history of the Holocaust,” Israel’s Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel tweeted. “Genocide was also committed on Ukrainian soil. The war is terrible, but the comparison to the horrors of the Holocaust and the final solution is outrageous.”

“If Zelensky’s speech was given… in normal [non-war] times, we would have said it bordered on Holocaust denial… Every comparison between a regular war, as difficult as it may be, and the extermination of millions of Jews in gas chambers in the framework of the Final Solution, is a total distortion of history. The same is true for the claim that Ukrainians helped Jews in the Holocaust… The historic truth is that the Ukrainian people cannot be proud of its behavior in the Holocaust of the Jews,” Yuval Steinitz, a Likud MK, said. “None of that changes the fact that despite the outrageous use of the Holocaust, we must continue humanitarian aid to the citizens of Ukraine suffering from the war and pray for its end to come soon.”

“I don’t understand Ukrainian, but if the translation I heard is accurate, Zelensky asked us to treat the Ukrainians like they treated us 80 years ago. I’m sorry, but I think we will have to reject that request. We are, after all, a moral nation,” said Simcha Rothman, a Religious Zionist MK, on the subject of Zelensky’s reference to Ukrainians who saved Jews during the Holocaust. Invoking Holocaust in Speech to Israeli Lawmakers, Zelensky Calls to Prevent Russian ‘Final Solution’

By Breitbart. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed Israeli lawmakers via Zoom in a fiery speech on Sunday, and called on Israel to help prevent a Russian “final solution.”

Zelenskyy told lawmakers: “102 years after the Nazi party was established, on February 24, an order was given for a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.”

“They are using the terminology of the Nazi party. This is a tragedy. When they wanted to destroy Europe and have it surrender, they didn’t want to leave any of you remaining. And now us. They called it the final solution to the Jewish question,” Zelenskyy said while also criticizing Israel for not arming Ukraine.

“We can ask why we can’t receive weapons from you, why Israel has not imposed powerful sanctions on Russia or is not putting pressure on Russian business. Either way, the choice is yours to make, brothers and sisters, and you must then live with your answer, the people of Israel,” the Ukrainian President added. . .

Several Israeli lawmakers criticized Zelensky for drawing comparisons between the Holocaust and the Russian invasion.

Threat of Nuclear Destruction at 40% As Putin Could ‘Kill Thousands’ in Last-Ditch Attack

Harry Kazianis, an expert on U.S. foreign policy and national security issues, said that the current crisis has put the world in a “dangerous” situation. Speaking to Express.co.uk, he said: “For a living, I literally do war game scenarios. “And when we get to this point in a potential NATO/Russia clash, there’s about a 40 percent chance that it ends up being a war in a nuclear exchange.

“So that’s how dangerous this all really is.”

Mr Kazianis described the current crisis as being “worse than the Cuban missile crisis”, one of the most dangerous periods of the cold war, warning that if “NATO and Russia start shooting at each other”, war game scenarios always show it escalating into a nuclear war.

The expert, who is an analyst at the US thinktank Centre for National Interest, said: “This may actually be worse than the Cuban missile crisis, because of the amount of weaponry and egos and historical tension all packaged into one.

Zelensky Says Ukrainian Political Parties Linked to Russia to Be Banned

Eleven Ukrainian political parties have been suspended because of their links with Russia, according to the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

The country’s national security and defence council took the decision to ban the parties from any political activity. Most of the parties affected were small, but one of them, the Opposition Platform for Life, has 44 seats in the 450-seat Ukrainian parliament.

“The activities of those politicians aimed at division or collusion will not succeed, but will receive a harsh response,” Zelenskiy said, in a video address on Sunday.

“Therefore, the national security and defence council decided, given the full-scale war unleashed by Russia, and the political ties that a number of political structures have with this state, to suspend any activity of a number of political parties for the period of martial law,” the Ukrainian leader added.

The Opposition Platform for Life, Ukraine’s biggest opposition party, is led by Viktor Medvedchuk, a pro-Moscow oligarch with close ties to the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. Zelensky Warns of ‘Third World War’ if Russian Peace Talks Fail

Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky warned that the world would be plunged into a third world war if peace talks with Russia fail, noting that even if there is about about a “one percent chance” of stopping the war, then the two countries should take it.

On Sunday, Fox News flagged that Zelensky told CNN, “I think that we have to use any format, any chance in order to have a possibility of negotiating, possibility of talking to Putin. But if these attempts fail, that would mean that this is a third World War.”

“I am ready for negotiations with him. I was ready over the last two years, and I think that without negotiations, we cannot end this war,” Zelensky said during the interview which aired on Sunday.

“There are compromises for which we cannot be ready as an independent state. Any compromises related to our territorial integrity and our sovereignty and the Ukrainian people have spoken about it — they have not greeted Russian soldiers with a bunch of flowers, they have greeted them with bravery, they have greeted them with weapons in their hands,” he added. Is China About to Send Military Aid to Putin?; Xi Jinping Calls for Cooperation, Biden Warns of Consequences in Two-Hour Call

By Townhall. . .[A]ccording to European Union officials, China is looking to deepen its ties to Russia and further link the two nations against the United States and other NATO countries:

“EU leaders are in possession of ‘very reliable evidence’ that China is considering military assistance to Russia, a senior EU official told POLITICO, threatening potential trade measures if weapons’ deliveries go ahead.” . . .

This news of China’s apparent intention to provide military assistance to Russia, much in the same way the United States has been providing — and just approved an additional $800 million — in aid to Ukraine came at the same time President Biden was conducting a nearly two-hour meeting with President Xi Jinping.

Prior to the bilateral call between Biden and Jinping, Secretary of State Blinken admitted on Thursday that the Biden administration was “concerned that [China is] considering directly assisting Russia with military equipment to use in Ukraine.” As the EU officials claim, China is indeed taking Putin’s request seriously. Xi Jinping Calls for Cooperation, Biden Warns of Consequences in Two-Hour Call

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his US counterpart Joe Biden spoke on Friday for about two hours in a virtual meeting called to address the conflict in Ukraine, with Xi appealing for negotiations to bring the crisis to a halt and Biden stressing that consequences await Beijing for any support it provides to Moscow.

“The Ukraine crisis is something we don’t want to see,” Xi said, according to a government readout. “Events once again show that state-to-state relations cannot go to the stage of confrontation, conflict and confrontation are not in the interests of anyone.”

“As permanent members of the UN Security Council and the world’s two largest economies, we must not only lead the development of China-US relations on the right track, but also shoulder our due international responsibilities and make efforts for world peace and tranquillity,” the readout said.

Calling the exchange “constructive”, Beijing said the two sides agreed “to follow up in a timely manner, take practical actions, strive for the return of China-US relations to the track of stable development, and make their own efforts to properly resolve the Ukraine crisis”.

The U.S. Is Mindlessly Marching Toward War With Russia

The day after Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky addressed Congress, the American press was understandably filled with paeans to his courage and leadership, his clarity of purpose and firm resolve in the face of mortal danger. As Bari Weiss noted in a thoughtful response to the speech, Zelensky knows what he’s fighting for, and he stands as an inspiring counterexample of things we hope for in our own political leaders, but do not have.

But there is something else behind this celebration of Zelensky. His speech, after all, was a rather straightforward request for the United States and our North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies to intervene on behalf of Ukraine. “In the darkest time for our country, for the whole of Europe, I call on you to do more,” he said, invoking Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and Martin Luther King, Jr. . .

Instead, we’re seeing just the opposite: the emergence of a bipartisan, establishment consensus in Washington that the United States and NATO must ratchet up military aid to Ukraine, right now, without even trying to articulate an overarching strategy, what the off-ramps might be, or what an end-state to the conflict might look like. . .

Democratic House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., went a bit further on Thursday. During a rules committee hearing he blurted out, “We’re at war,” while talking about the need for a unified U.S. response to the conflict. Then, perhaps realizing his slip, quickly clarified that we’re not physically on the battlefield with the Ukrainians, “But we ought to do everything we possibly can to make sure they can meet this enemy and defeat this enemy.”

These lawmakers take the view that we can dance along a line of belligerence without actually becoming belligerents in the war, as if we alone get to decide where that line is and when we have or have not crossed it. They, along with their cheerleaders in the corporate press, offer no substantive arguments about why we won’t get drawn into the war. They simply declare that we have to do more, that we can’t be afraid of Moscow, without even attempting to persuade a skeptical American public that the risk inherent to doing more — getting into a shooting war with Russia — is worth it. Liberal News Host Accuses Republicans of Pushing Biden ‘to Do Things That Would Trigger World War III’

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough accused Republicans on Friday of pushing President Joe Biden to make a decision that could “trigger World War III.”

“There are some Republican senators out there that are trying to turn this into a political hit job against Joe Biden and are pushing him to do things that would trigger World War III,” Scarborough said. “It’s so reckless. They’re pushing him, not only to do things that could trigger World War III, that they would never do if they were sitting in the White House. They’re also pushing him to do things that would get the United States so far ahead of our allies that there would be a split between the United States and NATO.”

He argued that Biden has “paced this very well,” saying his patience led to “generational changes” including Germany building a stronger military and having Sweden and Finland consider joining NATO.

“I know this is going to be shocking to you, because it doesn’t fit into your stupid little populist playbook, Joe Biden’s experience,” he continued. “He’s been there, he’s done that. Pentagon: Russian Forces ‘Remain Largely Stalled Across the Country’

Russian forces have not made appreciable progress recently as their invasion enters its fourth week.

A senior U.S. defense official told reporters Friday that they had “largely stalled across the country,” specifically adding that the Pentagon has not seen Russian forces “make significant advances” on Kyiv from the north and northwest or from the east, where they remain 18 miles away.

The cities of Mariupol, which has faced repeated attacks on civilian infrastructure, and Chernihiv have been isolated by Russian forces while they remain on the outside of Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.

Russian forces have launched more than 1,080 missiles since the start of their invasion. The airspace above Ukraine remains contested as well.

South Africa’s President Blames NATO for Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine: ‘War Could Have Been Avoided’

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Thursday blamed NATO for provoking Russia into invading its neighbor Ukraine.

Speaking in parliament Thursday, Ramaphosa said the war, now entering its 4th week, could have been avoided if NATO hadn’t expanded eastward.

“The war could have been avoided if NATO had heeded warnings from amongst its own leaders and officials over the years that its eastward expansion would lead to greater, not less, instability in the region,” Ramaphosa said.

He was careful to clarify that South Africa “cannot condone the use of force and violation of international law.”

Ukraine: Money-Laundering Hub of the New World Order

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine about three weeks ago, our corporate media has been cheering on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainians while demonizing Russia and Putin as another Hitler. What the media fail to cover and identify is the New World Order, or NWO, Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum and the role each played in provoking Russia in a much broader conflict between the New World Order and the nationalists.

Zelensky won the presidency in 2019 after being heavily bankrolled by a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch by the name of Igor Kolomoiskly. Since his election, Zelensky has cleverly attempted to play the middle ground in a war between two superpowers.

In 2014, Ukraine’s democratically elected president, Victor Yanukovych, was toppled by our CIA in favor of a puppet who would serve the New World Order’s purpose for using the nation as a money-laundering hub.

Ukraine was hardly a democracy prior to the invasion. Opposition journalists are routinely jailed there. There is no freedom of the press in Ukraine. It is not by coincidence (and contrary to the paid for hire fact checkers) that the sons of Democrats in leadership positions (Biden, Pelosi, Kerry) either sat on the boards of energy companies in Ukraine or were doing business in Ukraine. When a new Ukrainian prosecutor, Kostiantyn Kulyk, opened an investigation into the business dealings of Burisma where Hunter Biden (with no energy experience) sat on the board, Joe Biden, as vice president, threatened to withhold financial aid to Ukraine and triumphantly bragged about it on camera. Imagine that! The very quid pro quo Democrats used to falsely charge President Trump is precisely what Biden is guilty of in Ukraine.

It is widely believed the now, which appears to control the European Union, NATO, the Crown and the U.N., was instrumental in toppling the regimes of Saddam Hussein in Iraq, Gadhafi in Libya, the shipment of ammunition to ISIS in Syria in an effort to topple the regime of Syrian President Bashar Al Assad and the installment of Joe Biden here in the United States. Putin, who at one time attempted to work with the World Economic Forum, believed he was next in line. He suspected the NWO was using Ukraine as a proxy to create a color revolution in Russia while America was funding bioweapon labs with pathogens in Ukraine.
