CNN and MSNBC Claim DACA-Recipients Are ‘Children’

CNN and MSNBC are repeating the false claim that DACA recipients are “children” or “kids,” while actually most are adults.

While DACA recipients were illegally brought to the United States by their parents when they were children, the minimum age to apply for the program is 15 years old. In fact, the majority of the applicants were over the age of 20 based on 2014 data from the US government. Some have estimated that the average age of dreamers is 25 or 26 years old–hardly children.

But those watching CNN and MSNBC might be under the impression that the DACA debate centers on young kids.

Crowd Throws Tomatoes at Merkel During Rally

German Chancellor Angela Merkel was hit with a tomato Tuesday during a rally in the southern college town of Heidelberg, news agency Deutsche Presse Agentur reports.

Police said two tomatoes were thrown during different times of Merkel’s speech. One tomato hit the chancellor’s left hip. A representative for Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) was also hit. DPA reports that Merkel kept the same outfit on for a television appearance hours later.

Some 3,000 people showed up to the rally. The crowd was primarily made up of Merkel supporters and CDU, but some attendees chanted “hypocrite” and “liar” throughout her speech.

“If we made a mistake, then it wasn’t in taking in people, but rather that we didn’t pay attention to the fact that people in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Syria didn’t have enough to eat, weren’t getting an education and put themselves into the hands of people smugglers,” Merkel said in defense of her decision to open doors to migrants in 2015. ‘Ecosexual’ Professor Wants You to Have Sex With Earth

. . .You can sensually roll in the mud, make passionate love to a hulking tree or even pursue a long-term romantic relationship with the ocean.

It’s all part of an eco-sex trend exploding on Google searches in the last year, thanks in part to art professor Elizabeth Stephens, who teaches at the University of California at Santa Cruz. The movement involves a combination of art, sex and environmentalism.

Stephens, who is also chairwoman of the art department at the California state-funded university, has been filmed in documentaries, or eco-sex flicks, doing “the nasty” with nature.

And, somehow, doing the deed with Earth is supposed to save the environment from human destruction.

This “tree-hugging” professor isn’t merely hugging trees. In the 2013 film “Goodbye Gauley Mountain: An Ecosexual Love Story,” she and her female partner massage river rocks, lick trees, frolic naked in a stream and slather mud on one another. Stephens is now working on “Water Makes Us Wet: An Ecosexual Adventure.” According to The College Fix, “Water Makes Us Wet” is set to debut in Germany this week. Governor in U.S. Virgin Islands Orders Gun Grab

A hurricane is on the way, and preparations always include boarding up windows, stocking up on food, water and batteries, and sometimes fleeing inland.

A governor in one U.S. territory, however, has another plan: Grab all the guns.

According to the Daily Caller, the governor of the Virgin Islands, a U.S. territory, has signed an order to that effect.

The order explains that Gov. Kenneth E. Mapp authorized the territory’s adjutant general “to mobilize such units of the National Guard as are necessary to maintain or restore public order, and to guarantee the safety of life and property,” as Hurricane Irma approaches from the Atlantic.

The adjutant general, he said, “is authorized and directed to seize arms, ammunition, explosives, incendiary material and any other property that may be required by the military forces for the performance of this emergency mission, in accordance with the Rules of Force promulgated by the Virgin Islands National Guard and approved by the Virgin Islands Department of Justice.” (Read more from “Governor in U.S. Virgin Islands Orders Gun Grab” HERE)

Sessions Announces End of Special Protections for Illegal Aliens

Attorney General Jeff Sessions Tuesday announced that the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival policy, which gave temporary amnesty to thousands of illegal immigrants brought into the U.S. as children, will come to an end under the Trump administration.

“I’m here today to announce that the program known as DACA that was effectuated under the Obama administration is being rescinded,” Sessions announced at the Justice Department.

President Obama created DACA by executive order in 2012 after Congress refused to pass legislation on immigration reform. In public remarks made in 2011, Obama himself indicated it was not within his constitutional power as president to unilaterally create laws that would shield illegals from deportation and grant them work permits. But one year later he did exactly that . . .

Session blasted Obama for abusing executive power to grant amnesty to thousands of illegals.

“The policy was implemented unilaterally to great controversy and legal concern after Congress rejected legislative proposals to extend similar benefits on numerous occasions to this same group of illegal aliens,” the attorney general said. “In other words, the executive branch through DACA deliberately sought to achieve what the legislative branch specifically refused to authorize on multiple occasions. Such an open ended circumvention of our immigration laws was an unconstitutional exercise of authority by the executive branch.” (Read more from “Sessions Announces End of Special Protections for Illegal Aliens” HERE)

North Korea Says Nuclear Tests Are ‘Gift Packages for the US’ and Warns More Will Follow

North Korea said nuclear tests are “gift packages” to the United States and that more will follow.

Han Tae Song, the ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the UN in Geneva, made the comment during a UN-sponsored Conference on Disarmament today.

The warning comes two days after his country detonated its sixth and largest nuclear test.

“The recent self-defence measures by my country, DPRK, are a gift package addressed to none other than the US,” Han told the Geneva forum.

“The US will receive more gift packages from my country as long as its relies on reckless provocations and futile attempts to put pressure on the DPRK.” (Read more from “North Korea Says Nuclear Tests Are ‘Gift Packages for the US’ and Warns More Will Follow” HERE)

Intelligence Committees Heavily Rely on Former Spies

Lawmakers assigned to oversee the sprawling U.S. intelligence apparatus rely strongly on a staff that in recent years has included scores of onetime spooks, analysts and lawyers who previously worked at the spy agencies under scrutiny.

According to a comprehensive analysis by McClatchy, at least one-third, and perhaps far more, of the professional staff members who carry out the work of the House and Senate intelligence committees are themselves veterans of the agencies that the two panels oversee.

That reliance raises questions about how effectively the two oversight committees carry out supervision of a swelling intelligence empire that now employs some 107,000 people with a combined budget projected to reach $78.4 billion next year.

Some national security experts see little problem as long as the spy agencies thwart any repeat of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks – and so far, the agencies have succeeded. Their triumphs are secret, and largely unheralded. (Read more from “Intelligence Committees Heavily Rely on Former Spies” HERE)

President Donald Trump Sets Internet on Fire, Retweets Hilarious Slam on Hillary Clinton

On Saturday evening, President Donald Trump set the Internet ablaze by endorsing a hilarious tweet trolling Hillary Clinton and the title of her new book, What Happened.

After spending most of the day helping survivors of Hurricane Harvey on September 2, Trump took a few minutes off Saturday night to fire up Twitter, as he so often does.

The president retweeted a message from a Trump fan account called Team_Trump45. It was a meme image featuring the cover of Clinton’s campaign autopsy book, What Happened. Next to the image of Clinton’s book cover was a similar but fake book cover with a large photo of a smiling Donald Trump under the words, “I Happened.”

Along with the president, the Tweet reached over 44,000 likes, more than 15,000 re-tweets, and 4,500 comments by press time.

The president’s endorsement of the hilarious jab at the former Democrat party banner carrier comes just ahead of Hillary’s book tour, which is drawing criticism before it even starts. (Read more from “President Donald Trump Sets Internet on Fire, Retweets Hilarious Slam on Hillary Clinton” HERE)

Charlie Hebdo Mocks Harvey Victims With Nazi-Themed Cover

Charlie Hebdo, the French magazine attacked by terrorists in 2015, decided to target victims of Tropical Storm Harvey with a recent cover.

The publication, which has long mocked religion, featured the headline “God Exists! He Drowned All the Neo-Nazis of Texas” with an illustration of drowning people reaching above flood waters to do the Nazi salute next to sinking Swastika flags.

In 2011 and 2015, Charlie Hebdo was targeted by terrorists because the magazine mocked the religion of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. When terrorists mowed down 12 people in its office in the 2015 attack, journalists and media figures worldwide rallied around the magazine based on the principle of free speech, supporting the publication with #IAmCharlie and #JeSuisCharlie.

“We didn’t defend them because they were right or they were good; we defended them because they had a right,” Glenn Beck said on Thursday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.” (Read more from “Charlie Hebdo Mocks Harvey Victims With Nazi-Themed Cover” HERE)

Michelle Obama Dresses up as Beyoncé From ‘Formation’ — the Song Believed to Be Anti-Police

To celebrate pop star Beyoncé’s 36th birthday, former first lady Michelle Obama dressed up in what the singer donned in her “Formation” video — a Beyoncé song notoriously perceived as anti-police . . .

Obama wasn’t the only participant in the dress-up shoot: friends and colleagues of Beyoncé also donned the same outfit.

Some of those in the shoot included Beyoncé’s 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, former Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and tennis star Serena Williams.

Many conservative pundits believed Beyoncé’s 2016 award-winning song and video for “Formation” to be controversial, as the underlying theme is black pride.

The pop star performed the song during the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show, where many of her backup dancers donned what appeared to be Black Panther-like costumes, and gave several nods to the Black Lives Matter movement and Malcolm X.
