Melania Teaches Omarosa a Little Humility for Lashing out at Her Husband

. . .Those who have previewed Manigault-Newman’s “Unhinged” have said that one of the major plot throughlines is that the former “Apprentice” contestant had a close relationship with the first lady — something that ostensibly allowed her to opine about the state of the Trump marriage.

“Whenever Donald and Melania weren’t on speaking terms — which was very often — he would call Ivana and ask for her advice,“ a passage from “Unhinged” reads, according to the Washington Examiner. “What could upset the current wife more than the husband calling up the first wife for advice?” . . .

Aside from the “self-serving pot-calling-the-kettle-black” factor here, the whole story appears unlikely — especially since Melania Trump’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, says Melania “rarely, if ever, interacted” with Omarosa.

“It’s disappointing to (Melania) that (Manigault-Newman) is lashing out and retaliating in such a self-serving way, especially after all the opportunities given to her by the President,” Grisham told the Examiner in an email. If that kind of mother-lecturing-a-recalcitrant-13-year-old tone doesn’t bring a smile to your face, my guess is that you have a knit pink hat with cat ears somewhere in your wardrobe. . .

“In my opinion, Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce him,” Manigault-Newman wrote, according to the Examiner, saying that the first lady was afraid that Trump could “invalidate” her citizenship. Which, huh? Did Manigault-Newman actually read the relevant portions of immigration law before she wrote this? Did anyone on her team try to check it out? Why Leftism Can Never Truly Support the Concept of Free Speech

Commentators keep on pointing out examples of the Left’s antagonism toward free speech as if this were inconsistent with its first principles. It’s not. Leftism cannot be for free speech. Why? Because of what political philosopher Eric Voegelin recognized as the Gnostic character of its first principles.

Speech depends on the one-to-one correspondence between external realities and communicable concepts. Speech is reality’s witness and herald. What happens when you deny the fabric of external reality, as Gnosticism does? Or when, as leftism believes, objective reality is the projection of psychic and systemic forces by retrograde powers? . . .

Philosophically, Gnosticism sees speech as the tool by which demiurgic powers establish their corrupt systems, institutions, and social arrangements. We might think we’re just reflecting the binary reality of the sexes when we use the pronouns “he” or “she.” In reality, we’re stooges of that oppressive demiurge entrenching his tyranny, the sex binary.

All speech suffers the same judgment. It’s all about entrenching the existing power structures evolved over time through the distillation of human experience embodied in tradition. A white male cannot speak beyond the prison cell of his whiteness, maleness, and property ownership. Letters are fetters. His every word projects a cosmic architecture favorable to his own power quest. Language can only be his linguistic rape of those without power. All this, of course, he knows nothing about, because he’s un-woke.

Gnostics were the first to reduce all perceived reality to a network of power relationships. Archon is Greek for “power.” One is born under the influence of these power systems — his family system, his local culture and nation state, his religion, the various economic and social systems of his society — and from birth his mind marinates in the language propping up these systems. This Cake Baker Won at the Supreme Court. Now the State Is Trying to Get Revenge

Masterpiece Cakeshop’s Jack Phillips, who won a Supreme Court case in June, is once again being harangued by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission for refusing to bake a cake with a pro-LGBTQ message. Alliance Defending Freedom filed a federal lawsuit late Tuesday night against the commission on his behalf, over the state’s second attempt to compel him to bake a cake with a message that violates his religious beliefs.

Two months ago, the Supreme Court ruled that Phillips ought not to have been forced to bake a cake with a pro-LGBT message for a same-sex couple’s wedding, because the court found that the commission was overtly hostile to the baker’s religious beliefs.

Now, the commission is once again going after Phillips, this time to compel him to bake a cake celebrating a “gender transition.”

On June 26, 2017 — the same day the Supreme Court announced it would take up the cake baking case — an attorney, who is identified in the court filings as Autumn Scardina, asked Phillips to bake a cake that is blue on the outside and pink on the inside to celebrate his decision to live as if he were a woman. When Phillips declined, Scardina filed a complaint with the commission that July, alleging that he was unlawfully discriminated against.

Just weeks after Philip’s victory at the Supreme Court, the commission issued a probable cause determination, stating that there was enough evidence to back up Scardina’s claim that Phillips had broken the law by declining the order for the custom cake. Stripped of His Security Clearance John Brennan Doubles Down on the Resistance

On Wednesday President Trump officially pulled the security clearance still held by former CIA director John Brennan. Brennan responded to the move on Twitter within hours of the announcement.

In recent days, Brennan has issued regular defenses of former White House staff Omarosa, who secretly recorded Chief of Staff John Kelly in the Situation Room.

The Washington Post Crosses a Very Dangerous Line

At what point do outlets like The Washington Post, The New York Times and CNN cross the line from being far-left sites who irrationally despise President Donald Trump to potentially inciting indiscriminate violence with truly despicable and dangerous words? . . .

In an outrageous screed going after Trump titled “The Path to Autocracy is all too familiar,” the liberal propaganda sheet for the “Resistance,” attached a photo of “Hitler youth” gleefully burning books. . .

Fully understanding that multi-billionaire Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos may himself be biased against Trump and may not grasp – or choose to ignore — the escalating danger of such potentially violence-inciting pieces, there are still some well-respected “adults in the room” at the paper who most certainly do understand that threat.

Where are their voices? Why are they silent? Who has the courage and decency at that paper to say that these reprehensible connections of the President of the United States to Hitler, the Holocaust, and genocide must stop?

Not only are they obscenely insulting to the millions of Jews and others put to death by Hitler and his collection of Nazi psychopaths, but they are purposeful lies seeking to facilitate a desired political outcome for reasons of ideology. Watch: Sacha Cohen Dupes Another Pro-Gun Advocate…But This Time It’s Much Worse

Last month, Borat actor Sacha Baron Cohen released the first video of his new Showtime series Who Is America? The video featured Virginia Citizens Defense League President Philip Van Cleave who used stuffed animals to tell kids how to fire guns at the bad guys. In fact, Cohen and Van Cleave had an entire “how to” video for these preschool-aged children.

The second promo video of the series was released a few days ago. Cohen’s character, Israeli terror expert Erran Morad, had a discussion with Youth Shooters of America President about promoting the shooting sports, particularly among kids. . .

To make matters even worse, Cohen tricked Roberts into putting a sex toy in his mouth as a means of surviving a terrorist beheading. The idea is that the victim bites the attacker’s genitalia while yelling orders. Eventually the attacker will drop their weapon and the victim will no longer be in danger. . .

It’s absolutely mind boggling that Roberts willingly went along with what “Erran Morad” suggested. Why would anyone in their right mind partake in this exercise? Most normal people would not meet someone and then participate in an exercise that involves putting a sex toy in their mouth.

This is only the second video in a string of them that we’re going to see and guess what? So far, Cohen’s desire to make gun owners look like idiots is working like a charm. Gun rights activists are falling right into Cohen’s traps.

The Women’s Center, One of Only Two Abortion Clinics in Nashville, Closing Its Doors

The Women’s Center, which has operated in the city since 1990, stopped taking new patients over the weekend and is now referring women to clinics in Knoxville and Bristol, said clinic attorney Thomas Jessee.

The center is closing because the owners have agreed to sell the building and the details of the sale are being finalized, Jessee said. The Women’s Center intends to reopen and is now searching for a new location, he said. . .

The closure of the Women’s Center is a significant blow for women’s access to abortion in Tennessee. The center is at least the third clinic to close in recent years, leaving only seven others throughout the state. In Nashville, a national hub for the health care industry, Planned Parenthood is now the only abortion option. . .

In addition to being one of the few options for women in Tennessee, The Women’s Center also has a record of fighting in court to preserve women’s abortion options. In 2002, the Nashville center successfully challenged a law requiring abortion clinics to be licensed as ambulatory surgery centers, which would likely have increased abortion prices. The state reintroduced this law again in 2012, but later abandoned enforcement after it became clear the requirement was unconstitutional.

The Women’s Center also sued the state to challenge a new law requiring a 48-hour waiting period for all abortions. That lawsuit continues today, but will likely continue even if The Women’s Center shuts down because other clinics, including Planned Parenthood, later joined as plaintiffs. Hillary Clinton Tweets to 11-Year-Old Pledge Kneeler: ‘Keep up the Good Work’

On Wednesday, Hillary Clinton praised a young student who was disciplined for kneeling during the Pledge of Allegiance.

Clinton commented on a NowThis report on Mariana Taylor, an 11-year-old sixth-grade student from Maryland who refused to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance in class. Clinton said Taylor had “courage” for kneeling during the Pledge and told her to “keep up the good work.”

In February, Taylor was inspired by the NFL protests instigated by Colin Kaepernick and decided to echo those national anthem protests. The Washington Post reported that after Mariana had written a paper about Kaepernick for her English class at Catonsville Middle School, she began kneeling for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Taylor claims that she was reprimanded by her teacher in response, and the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland became involved in her case, arguing for her right to protest the Pledge. The school denied punishing Taylor in a statement.

The Recruitment Problem the Military Doesn’t Want to Talk About

. . .In April, Trump followed up on his pledge by signing a defense bill that not only ended the spending caps, but called for an increase in the military’s size in 2018 by adding 20,000 new personnel—including 7,500 more soldiers, 4,000 more sailors, 1,000 new Marines, and 4,100 more airmen.

Senior military officers, and particularly Army Chief of Staff Mark Milley, celebrated the increase. Since becoming his service’s senior officer, Milley has argued that to meet its obligations, the Army will need 540,000 soldiers in its ranks by 2022, an increase of some 70,000 soldiers over four years. “It is not some arbitrary number,” Milley told a gathering of Army veterans back in August. “We have done the analysis. We need to be bigger, and we need to be stronger and more capable.”

Milley’s goal meant that the Army not only needed to find 17,500 new soldiers every year, it needed to find replacements for those who retire or leave the service every year—about 20 percent of the force. So it is that the Army set its 2018 recruiting goal at 80,000 soldiers. Initially, at least, Milley’s target seemed modest, reachable. It wasn’t.

In April, the Army revised that number—downwards. Instead of recruiting 80,000, it announced that it would recruit 76,500 new soldiers. But even that number might be too high, as the Army notes that it’s recruited only 28,000 in the first six months of the year. The problem, it seems, isn’t that young people don’t want to join the Army—or any of the services—it’s that they can’t. And therein lies a paradox: for while the U.S. military represents the best in America (as its most senior officers claim), it doesn’t actually represent America. For that to be true, two thirds of our military would have to consist of obese, under-educated former drug users and convicted criminals.

Here’s the arithmetic: one in three potential recruits are disqualified from service because they’re overweight, one in four cannot meet minimal educational standards (a high school diploma or GED equivalent), and one in 10 have a criminal history. In plain terms, about 71 percent of 18-to-24-year-olds (the military’s target pool of potential recruits) are disqualified from the minute they enter a recruiting station: that’s 24 million out of 34 million Americans. The good news is that while the military takes pride in attracting those who are fit, educated, law abiding, and drug-free, they’re having difficulty finding them—manifestly because fewer of them actually exist. Feminists Lose Their Minds After Top ‘Fortnite’ Gamer Says He Won’t Stream With Women

Feminists critics of the video game industry — and gaming, in general — have lost their minds over the news that one of the world’s top gamers, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, won’t stream alongside women out of fear that any seemingly flirtatious exchange, or perceived sexist insult, could land him in hot water and ruin his lucrative career.

Ninja, as he is known, plays Fortnite, an online ‘battle royale” game that pits players from all over the world against each other in a massive fight to the death, and Ninja earns well into the seven figures playing Fortnite — mostly from selling ads on his Twitch streaming channel, making endorsements and personal appearances, and playing in tournaments.

But the gaming world is fraught with social justice warriors (mostly women who identify as “feminists”) looking to skewer male gamers, whom they consider sexist, misogynistic, and unfairly aggressive, Ninja included. . .

The problem is, of course, that feminists don’t like to be criticized, even by implication — and they certainly believe that Ninja is criticizing them by implication. In response, they unleashed a volley of insults, calling Ninja a sexist, and claiming that “there’s something poetic about Ninja thinking ‘wow women in gaming have to deal with a deeply toxic culture of men attacking them and speculating about their lives. I wouldn’t want that in my life sooo I won’t work with women phew problem solved’ then tweeting that without irony.”

Feminist “nerd culture” rag, the Mary Sue even went so far as to call Ninja, “Mike Pence,” comparing him to the Vice President who will not dine alone with any female, suggesting that Ninja owes female gamers access to his audience, and implying that he’s oppressing any woman who doesn’t get to game with him by “effectively denying all female streamers, no matter how talented, access to his 10,000,000 followers.” (Read more from “Feminists Lose Their Minds After Top ‘Fortnite’ Gamer Says He Won’t Stream With Women” HERE)
