Trump Abruptly Cancels Meeting With Putin

By Washington Times. President Trump on Thursday said he was canceling plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin because of escalating military tension in Crimea.

The announcement tweeted from Air Force One in route to the G20 summit in Argentina was an abrupt reversal of comments just 40 minutes earlier, when Mr. Trump said he would probably go through with the meeting.

“Based on the fact that the ships and sailors have not been returned to Ukraine from Russia, I have decided it would be best for all parties concerned to cancel my previously scheduled meeting in Argentina with President Vladimir Putin,” the president said in a series of tweets.

He added, “I look forward to a meaningful Summit again as soon as this situation is resolved!” . . .

Trump Cancels G-20 Meeting With Putin, Citing Ukraine Crisis; Decision Follows Michael Cohen Guilty Plea in Russia Probe

By CNBC. President Donald Trump on Thursday abruptly canceled his meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin at this weekend’s G-20 summit in Argentina.

Trump in two tweets blamed the cancellation of Saturday’s expected encounter with Putin on the failure of Russia to return three ships and their sailors seized from Ukraine last weekend in the Black Sea.

But the social-media scuttling of the sitdown came an hour after he personally told reporters that he would probably meet with Putin.

And it came just two hours after Trump’s ex-lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about the president’s involvement in an aborted real estate deal in Moscow.

Study Reveals That White Liberals ‘Patronize’ Minorities More Than Conservatives

White liberals present themselves as less competent when addressing minorities, while conservatives use the same vocabulary no matter what the race of their audience, according to a newly released study.

Yale and Princeton researchers found that white Democratic presidential candidates and self-identified liberals played down their competence when speaking to minorities, using fewer words that conveyed accomplishment and more words that expressed warmth.

On the other hand, there were no significant differences in how white conservatives, including Republican presidential candidates, spoke to white versus minority audiences.

“White liberals self-present less competence to minorities than to other Whites — that is, they patronize minorities stereotyped as lower status and less competent,” according to the study’s abstract.

Cydney Dupree, assistant professor of organizational behavior at the Yale School of Management, said she was surprised by the findings of the study, which sought to discover how “well-intentioned whites” interact with minorities. Ex-Trump Official: Mueller Hasn’t Indicted Anyone for Collusion After 18 Months

By Fox News Insider. Former Trump administration official Michael Anton said Thursday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has yet to indict anyone on charges related to collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign.

The former National Security Council spokesman said Michael Cohen’s new guilty plea is another example of Mueller pursuing a “process” crime rather than pursuing collusion-related offenses, which was the original goal of the investigation.

Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former lawyer, made a second plea agreement with federal prosecutors in New York, reportedly admitting to lying to Congress in 2017 about a Trump real estate deal in Russia. . .

Cohen previously pleaded guilty in New York to violating federal campaign finance laws by arranging hush-money payments to women in 2016 “at the direction” of then-candidate Trump.

Dershowitz Urges Trump Team to ‘Be Ready’: Mueller Won’t Release ‘Balanced, Fair Report’

By Fox News Insider. Alan Dershowitz said President Trump and his legal team have to be ready when Special Counsel Robert Mueller releases his findings in the Russia probe, because the American public should not be presented with a “one-sided report.”

Dershowitz, a Harvard Law professor emeritus, explained that Mueller — who’s investigating Russian election meddling and possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Moscow — is not going to produce a “neutral” report.

“He’s not going to be fair. He’s going to produce what he believes is going to be a devastating attack,” Dershowitz said. “They’re going to put together every bit of evidence and present a mosaic which points to the White House, the Oval Office, the president.”

He said that’s why he has suggested the president’s legal team demand that when Mueller’s report is released, they are able to simultaneously release their own report. . .

Manafort/Assange Drama Proves Media Will Buy Any Russia Conspiracy Story, No Matter Its Flaws

Many media figures have swallowed whole, without evidence, a conspiracy theory that Donald Trump became president by treasonously colluding with Russia to steal the 2016 election from its rightful owner, Hillary Clinton. The information operation that pushed this story turned out to have been secretly developed and funded by Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee, a fact uncovered only through the tenacious digging of Republicans on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence in the face of major opposition from the media and Democrats on the committee. . .

The latest questionably sourced information in support of this dramatic tale that opponents of Trump cling to in order to delegitimize the results of the 2016 election is that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort secretly met with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in 2013, 2015 and, ominously, in spring of 2016, just as the Trump campaign was heating up. Assange is holed up in London at the Ecuadorian embassy there and published the hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and Clinton aide John Podesta.

Even on first read the story seemed difficult to believe. It was based on anonymous sources so non-descript that they could be any of literally millions of people. A document from Ecuador’s Senain intelligence agency allegedly claimed a “Manaford” had visited Assange along with “Russians.” The story mentioned the discredited dossier that journalists wrote about and intelligence agencies used to secure wiretaps on Trump associates despite the failure to verify its claims. . .

It’s been seven and a half months, for instance, since McClatchy’s Peter Stone and Greg Gordon claimed, without evidence, that the special counsel had the goods showing that Trump attorney Michael Cohen had gone to Prague to collude with Russia in the run-up to the 2016 election. This was a key fact in the dossier and Cohen claimed it was a bald-faced lie. Even after he agreed to cooperate with the feds, he claimed it was a lie. In the seven and a half months since McClatchy ran that “bombshell” story that nearly everyone fell for, literally no one has been able to corroborate the story. . .

Weekly Standard editor at large Bill Kristol tweeted, “What campaign chair hasn’t held secret talks with Julian Assange in the Ecuadoran embassy in London?” He later deleted the tweet without explanation. Boy, 9, in Hasidic Jewish Clothing Beaten by Strangers

A 9-year-old boy dressed in Hasidic Jewish clothing was beaten in an apparently unprovoked attack in Brooklyn on Sunday night, and police are now investigating the assault as a hate crime.

NYPD said the boy was walking home in Williamsburg when a man – described as a black teenager – approached him and repeatedly punched him in the face. . .

The suspect was described as a male, between the ages of 14 to 18. He was approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with a black patch on the sleeve. . .

In October, a teenager was arrested for viciously attacking a Jewish man in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Crown Heights less than an hour after he was released from police custody for an unrelated shoplifting incident.

Days earlier, a New York City cab driver was caught on video beating a Jewish man in the middle of an intersection. The victim, Lipa Schwartz, reportedly told local officials the alleged attacker yelled the words “Allah” and “Israel” while pummeling him. Trump Issues a Huge Threat to Democrats Who Try to Investigate Him

By The Blaze. President Donald Trump issued a threat to Democrats in an interview Wednesday over the possibility that they will use the subpoena power of the House of Representatives after seizing power in the new year. . .

“If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me,” he told the New York Post.

“I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard they’d never been hit like that,” he explained.

The president explained to the Post that the documents would expose a conspiracy between the Hillary Clinton campaign, the FBI, and the Department of Justice to frame him.

The possibility that Democrats will investigate the president is not purely theoretical. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) made it clear that she would use her new powers as chairwoman of the House Committee on Financial Services to head several probes into Trump’s business relations and practices. Trump Threatens to Declassify ‘Devastating’ Docs About Democrats

By NY Post. In a wide-ranging, exclusive interview with The Post, President Trump said Wednesday that if House Democrats launched probes into his administration — which he called “presidential harassment” — they’d pay a heavy price.

“If they go down the presidential harassment track, if they want go and harass the president and the administration, I think that would be the best thing that would happen to me. I’m a counter-puncher and I will hit them so hard they’d never been hit like that,” he said during a 36-minute Oval Office sitdown.

The commander-in-chief said he could declassify FISA warrant applications and other documents from Robert Mueller’s probe — and predicted the disclosure would expose the FBI, the Justice Department and the Clinton campaign as being in cahoots to set him up. . .

Cosmic Airburst May Have Wiped out Part of the Middle East 3,700 Years Ago

Some 3,700 years ago, a meteor or comet exploded over the Middle East, wiping out human life across a swath of land called Middle Ghor, north of the Dead Sea, say archaeologists who have found evidence of the cosmic airburst.

The airburst “in an instant, devastated approximately 500 km2 [about 200 square miles] immediately north of the Dead Sea, not only wiping out 100 percent of the [cities] and towns, but also stripping agricultural soils from once-fertile fields and covering the eastern Middle Ghor with a super-heated brine of Dead Sea anhydride salts pushed over the landscape by the event’s frontal shock waves,” the researchers wrote in the abstract for a paper that was presented at the American Schools of Oriental Research annual meeting held in Denver Nov. 14 to 17. Anhydride salts are a mix of salt and sulfates.

“Based upon the archaeological evidence, it took at least 600 years to recover sufficiently from the soil destruction and contamination before civilization could again become established in the eastern Middle Ghor,” they wrote. Among the places destroyed was Tall el-Hammam, an ancient city that covered 89 acres (36 hectares) of land. . .

Among the evidence that the scientists uncovered for the airburst are 3,700-year-old pieces of pottery from Tall el-Hammam that have an unusual appearance. The surface of the pottery had been vitrified (turned to glass). The temperature was also so high that pieces of zircon within the pottery turned into gas — something that requires a temperature of more than 7,230 degrees Fahrenheit (4,000 degrees Celsius), said Phillip Silvia, a field archaeologist and supervisor with the Tall el-Hammam Excavation Project. However, the heat, while powerful, did not last long enough to burn through entire pottery pieces, leaving parts of the pottery beneath the surface relatively unscathed. Celine Dion’s Clothes for Kids ‘Definitely Satanic’

As swiftly as the advertising campaign for Celine Dion’s new “gender neutral” children’s clothing line launched, judgment –– which sees intrinsic evil being inflicted upon these innocent babes – has crashed upon the ill-advised effort.

The commercial, intended to be humorous, is dark. Dion, in what appears to be an act of sorcery, blows a handful of black dust in a hospital nursery filled with babies dressed in pastel pink or blue. Suddenly, black crosses hang in the air over the children as they find themselves clothed in drab black and white onesies covered in stars and messages in big letters declaring “NEW ORDER.” Images of skulls encircle the infants’ heads.

“I’m convinced that the way this gender thing has spread is demonic,” Msgr. John Esseff told the National Catholic Register. “It’s false. I don’t even know how many genders there’s supposed to be now, but there are only two that God made.”

“The devil is going after children by confusing gender,” he continued. “When a child is born, what is the first things we say about that child? It’s a boy, or it’s a girl. That is the most natural thing in the world to say. But to say that there is no difference is satanic.”

CNN Commentator Calls for Elimination of Israel

Far-left CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill appeared to defend using violence to resist Israel and appeared to call for the elimination of Israel on Wednesday while speaking to the United Nations.

Hill made the remarks while speaking during the U.N.’s International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, as first reported by Arutz Sheva.

“Contrary to western mythology, black resistance to American apartheid did not come purely through Gandhi and non-violence,” Hill said. “Rather, slave revolts, self-defense, and tactics otherwise divergent from Dr. King or Mahatma Gandhi were equally important to preserving safety and attaining freedom.”

“If we are in true solidarity, we must allow the Palestinian people the same range of opportunity and political possibility. We must recognize the right of an occupied people to defend themselves,” Hill continued. “We must prioritize peace, but we must not romanticize or fetishize it. We must advocate and promote non-violence at every opportunity, but cannot endorse narrow politics of respectability that shames Palestinians for resisting, for refusing to do nothing in the face of state violence and ethnic cleansing.”

Watch: Caravan Migrants Reveal How Miserable They Are

Members of the “migrant caravan” currently camped out in Tijuana, Mexico, just across the border from San Diego, California, told MSNBC late Tuesday that they were told making entrance into the United States would be much easier and that they’re ready to make the long journey back home.

The MSNBC reporter on scene claims that after speaking with migrants biding their time in shelters near the border, that many of the would-be asylum seekers were told that crossing the border would be a relatively painless process, and that most of them would be eligible for available work programs designed to help them integrate into American culture and society.

That didn’t turn out to be the case; it appears many of the members of the “migrant caravan” were sold a bill of goods, and are just coming to realize that crossing the border will be much more difficult than they imagined, particularly in light of the weekend’s violence.

The problem has become so pronounced — and demand to return to Honduras has gotten so high — that the government of Mexico is setting up tents in migrant camps along the border, helping those who might want to return to obtain safe passage back to Honduras and Guatemala, where the caravan originated.

The Mexican government is also keeping offers of temporary amnesty and temporary work visas open for those who are disillusioned with the caravan’s goals but feel they cannot return to war- and drug-ravaged Central America.
