Trey Gowdy Reveals FBI Withheld ‘Potential Game-Changer’ Evidence in Russia Probe

Former Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), who chaired the House Intelligence Committee before retiring from Congress last year, revealed Sunday on Fox News that unreleased transcripts between former Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos and an FBI informant exist — and they have the “potential to be a game-changer.”

Now that Robert Mueller has concluded his investigation, Attorney General William Barr has indicated that he will investigate whether government officials “put their thumb on the scale” during the Russia investigation, particularly in its early stages.

Gowdy teased that perhaps there was wrongdoing because government officials withheld the transcripts, which he characterized as exculpatory evidence, when applying for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants against Trump campaign aide Carter Page. . .

“And some of us have been fortunate enough to know whether or not those transcripts exist, but they haven’t been made public,” he continued. “And I think one in particular is going — it has the potential to actually persuade people.”

“Very little on this Russia probe, I’m afraid, is going to persuade people who hate Trump or who love Trump,” Gowdy went on to say. “But there is some information in these transcripts that I think has the potential to be a game-changer if it’s ever made public.” (Read more from “Trey Gowdy Reveals FBI Withheld ‘Potential Game-Changer’ Evidence in Russia Probe” HERE)

Videos Show Hundreds of Illegal Aliens Blocking Entire Terminal at Airport in Hours-Long Stand-Off

In Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport on Sunday, between 300 and 500 self-identified illegal immigrants stormed a terminal and occupied it for about three hours, preventing access to flights, to demand they be given papers to remain in France.

Both the New York Post and blog Heavy.com reported that the protesting illegal immigrants said they would not leave or allow access to the terminal until they were allowed to speak with French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe. . .

It is impossible for any American witnessing the events not to think of issues surrounding immigration here in the United States, which could explain why there was so little coverage of the dramatic scenes in the American press. Just last summer, Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, in an interview with far-left Democracy Now! called for the occupation of American airports over Trump administration immigration policies.

Illegal Alien Convicted of Raping Dog to Death RELEASED by Sanctuary State

By Breitbart. An illegal alien convicted of raping a dog to death was released by the sanctuary state of Oregon after being sentenced to just 60 days in prison.

As Breitbart News reported, illegal alien Fidel Lopez, 52-years-old, was convicted last month and sentenced to 60 days in prison after raping his girlfriend’s small Lhasa Apso which led to the dog’s death. The judge in the case said he would have given the illegal alien more prison time but that 60 days is the maximum sentence allowed in Oregon.

Following his sentence, Lopez was immediately released because he had already served 60 days while waiting to stand trial. Despite his illegal alien status, Multnomah County, Oregon officials released Lopez back into the community.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency had requested that the illegal alien be turned over to them for deportation should he be released from prison. The sanctuary state officials ignored the ICE request and released the illegal alien into the public. Man Convicted of Raping His Fiancee’s Dog to Death

By NY Daily News. Federal immigration officials lashed out at authorities in Multnomah County, Oregon, and local sanctuary laws Thursday after a man residing in the U.S. illegally was set free upon serving 60 days for raping a dog to death. . .

But ICE says the county should have notified the agency at least 48 hours before Lopez was let go so they could apprehend him on immigration violations.

“On April 8, Lopez was convicted of sexual assault of an animal and aggravated animal abuse and sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for time served,” said Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokeswoman Tanya J. Roman in a statement. “The Multnomah County Jail did not honor the immigration detainer and released him without notice to ICE.” (Read more from “Man Convicted of Raping His Fiancee’s Dog to Death” HERE)

Here’s What Michael Cohen Told House Intelligence Committee Behind Closed Doors

By Townhall. The House Intelligence Committee on Monday released transcripts of Michael Cohen’s closed-door testimony that took place in February and March. The Committee voted 12-7 to make the transcripts public.

The first transcript, from Feb. 28, focuses on Cohen’s business dealings on behalf of Donald Trump. He talks about how Trump often had him renegotiate deals after they were set in stone. The general rule of thumb for negotiations was to pay 20 cents on the dollar. . .

The second transcript, from March 6, focuses on how Trump’s other attorney, Jay Sekulow, had reviewed and edited the written statement about the Moscow project. (Read more from “Here’s What Michael Cohen Told House Intelligence Committee Behind Closed Doors” HERE)

Cohen Claimed Trump’s Lawyer Shaped His False Statement to Congress

By AP. President Donald Trump’s former fixer, Michael Cohen, told Congress it was Mr. Trump’s personal attorney, Jay Sekulow, who suggested he tell lawmakers that the negotiations for Trump Tower Moscow ended in January 2016, even though they continued for months after that.

The House Intelligence Committee on Monday released two transcripts of closed-door interviews with Cohen from earlier this year, along with some exhibits from the testimony. Cohen, who is serving a three-year prison sentence, pleaded guilty last year and admitted that he misled Congress by saying he had abandoned the Trump Tower Moscow project months earlier than he actually did.

During the interviews, legislators repeatedly pressed Cohen for details on his false statement to Congress and tried to nail down whether he was directly told by Mr. Trump’s legal team to mislead the committee, but the transcripts provide no slam-dunk evidence. More Transgender ‘Males’ Reportedly Viewing Pregnancy as ‘Possible’

By The Blaze. Trystan Reese is a transgender man who gave birth to a son in 2017 and who’s counseled hundreds of transgender men around the world who’ve also given birth, NBC News reported. . .

“You can be a man and have a baby,” Reese — director of family formation for the Family Equality Council, a national nonprofit that advocates for LGBTQ families — told NBC News. “And they are starting to see that that is possible, and that hasn’t always been the case.”

The network added that Reese “believes it’s a good thing that more trans men and nonbinary people are beginning to see that pregnancy is a possibility for them, whether they want to experience it or view it simply as a means to an end.”

Jay Thomas is married to Jamie Brewster, NBC News said, and the 33-year-olds are both transgender.

In 2016, Thomas — who had been on testosterone for more than two years — wanted to get pregnant, the network said.

Trans Dads Tell Doctors: ‘You Can Be a Man and Have a Baby’

By NBC News. There is no data on how many transgender men and nonbinary people give birth in the United States each year, because medical systems track them as female, but experts believe the numbers are likely higher than many would expect. The number of people who identify as transgender is growing: A 2016 study from the Williams Institute found that 1.4 million adults in the U.S identify as transgender, which was double the estimate based on data from a decade earlier.

In Australia, where government agencies began tracking both sex and gender in official records in 2013, 54 transgender men gave birth in 2014, according to statistics from the country’s universal health care system. And a Dutch study published in the journal Human Reproduction in 2011 found that a majority of trans men reported wanting families.

But doctors, nurses and medical office staff are still adjusting to the idea that those who are pregnant may not identify as women. (Read more from “Trans Dads Tell Doctors: ‘You Can Be a Man and Have a Baby'” HERE)

Georgia Governor Fires Back and Mocks Celebrities Who Have Threatened to Boycott the State

By The Blaze. Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp on Saturday mocked the plethora of celebrities threatening to boycott the state over its new, restrictive abortion law.

Celebrities like Alyssa Milano and Alec Baldwin have spoken out against the law, and signed letters of protest to demand that the state abandon the heartbeat bill. . .

During remarks at the Georgia Republican Convention, Kemp acknowledged the controversy the new law caused for many leftists and liberals.

“I understand that some folks don’t like this new law,” he said. “I’m fine with that. We’re elected to do what’s right — and standing up for precious life is always the right thing to do.”

Kemp went on to specifically pinpoint celebrities in his defense of the new law. Pointing out that the Republican Party is the “party of freedom and opportunity,” Kemp said that he will continue doing what’s right even if naysayers push back. Kemp Mocks ‘C-List Celebrities’ Threatening Boycott over Pro-Life Law

By AJC. “I understand that some folks don’t like this new law. I’m fine with that,” he said. “We’re elected to do what’s right – and standing up for precious life is always the right thing to do.”

Kemp added: “We are the party of freedom and opportunity. We value and protect innocent life — even though that makes C-list celebrities squawk.” . . .

He also hearkened back to his controversial TV spots featuring him pointing a shotgun toward his daughter’s suitor, and another showing him threatening to “round up illegals” in his pickup truck if Congress didn’t take action. . .

Kemp said his administration will ensure “our guns are not up for grabs here” and said he would press Congress to provide aid for farmers devastated by the October hurricane “even if I have to get in my pickup truck and drive to D.C. and get it myself – and yes, I just said that.” (Read more from “Kemp Mocks ‘C-List Celebrities’ Threatening Boycott over Pro-Life Law” HERE)

President Trump Lashes out at Fox News

By The Blaze. President Donald Trump railed against Fox News during his rally Monday for holding a town hall event with one of his presidential opponents, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

“What is going on with Fox? What is going on there?” he said at the Pennsylvania rally.

Fox News held a town hall event with Buttigieg, who is in third place among the more than two dozen candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination.

“They’re putting more Democrats on than you have Republicans,” Trump lamented.

“I did want to watch, you always have to watch the competition, if you want to call it,” Trump continued. “And he was knocking the hell out of Fox and Fox has put him there. Someone’s going to have to explain the whole Fox deal to me.” (Read more from “President Trump Lashes out at Fox News” HERE)

Trump hits Fox News after Buttigieg town hall: ‘What is going on with Fox?’

By The Hill. President Trump took a swipe at Fox News during his campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Monday night, questioning the network for hosting a town hall with Democratic presidential candidates such as South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg. . .

“I did want to watch, you always have to watch the competition, if you want to call it,” Trump continued referring to Buttigieg’s town hall Sunday evening. “And he was knocking the hell out of Fox and Fox has put him there. Someone’s going to have to explain the whole Fox deal to me.”

The criticism comes as a surprise from Trump, who frequently hits so-called “fake news” networks but mostly praises Fox News. In 2017, Trump praised “Fox & Friends” for being named “most influential” because he watches the show, and has appeared for over a dozen interviews on the network since becoming president. WATCH: Americans Gladly Offer The Most Insane, Disgusting Arguments For Abortion

By The Blaze. “Slightly Offens*ve” host Elijah Schaffer headed to the Hollywood Walk of Fame to ask fellow Californians what they think about Georgia’s new abortion bill, which bans all abortions once a fetal heartbeat can be detected, and Alabama’s new law that effectively bans all abortions. . .

“I don’t want a baby. I’m already struggling to lose weight,” said one of the women.

“I don’t think a baby is a baby. It’s a parasite,” added the other. . .

The conversation took an bizarre and unexpected turn when the woman suddenly announced, “I think if I saw a baby on the street in a trash can, I’d probably pick it up.”

The two women then compared abortion to euthanizing animals for “population control.”

Ultrasound photo brings wrath of abortion-supporters

By Life Site News. Abortion activists tried to cover the image of an unborn baby smiling in the womb Tuesday during a rally in the Rhode Island statehouse over a controversial proposed bill to expand abortion in state law.

Hundreds of pro-life advocates and abortion-supporters convened at the state’s capitol Tuesday as the Senate Judiciary Committee was set to vote on the legislation. The bill, which pro-life residents termed as extreme and going far beyond Roe v. Wade, failed to pass the committee.

The image that the abortion activists wanted covered was a smiling baby captured in a 4-D ultrasound, on a roughly 4’x 4’ sign that also included the text “Save me.”

During the demonstration, pro-abortion activists tried to cover the image of the smiling unborn child, primarily with Planned Parenthood-produced promotional signs that stated, “Protect safe, legal abortion.” . . .

While several states, such as Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Georgia, and Ohio, have passed strong pro-life laws to protect the unborn from abortion, and others like Louisiana and Missouri are close to joining them, a number have followed New York’s lead from January of this year, moving to codify unrestricted abortion on demand until birth in their state laws should Roe v. Wade be overturned. Rhode Island is among these latter states with its “Reproductive Healthcare Act.” (Read more from “Ultrasound photo brings wrath of abortion-supporters” HERE)

It Turns out That Keeping Waves of Illegal Aliens out of Our Communities Is a Bipartisan Goal

In retrospect, Donald Trump locked up the Republican presidential nomination the day he announced his candidacy. In words that will forever be etched in the minds of voters who were captivated by his boldness, Trump came down the escalator at Trump Tower on June 16, 2015, and announced, “The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems.” He spoke directly to the unspoken concern of millions of Americans when he declared, “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. … They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

Fast-forward four years later, and I think any border agent would tell you they would love to go back to the level of border problems they were dealing with in 2015 before the mass migration from Central America, and now, 50 other countries. During the month that Trump delivered the famous speech, there were 38,611 apprehensions at the border, and only a fraction of them were released. Now, over 100,000 are being apprehended every month. ICE has released 168,000 just since December 21, and another 33,000 were released directly by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) from March 19 to early May without ever having been processed in an ICE holding facility. The criminal elements are more empowered than ever to bring in gangs, criminals, and drugs. Indeed, America is a bigger dumping ground than ever before.

After vigorous protest from local officials, the DHS announced that it has no plans to dump illegal immigrants apprehended at the Texas-Mexico border into Broward and Palm Beach Counties, Florida. On Saturday, acting CBP Commissioner John P. Sanders announced that “contrary to inaccurate reports in the press, CBP has no plans to transport people in our custody to northern or coastal border facilities, which include Border Patrol stations in Florida.” Instead, what CBP has been doing is “transporting hundreds of families by bus and aircraft from the U.S. Border Patrol’s severely overcrowded processing facilities to less-crowded stations along the Southwest border.”

By declaring reports of sending illegal immigrants to Florida as “inaccurate,” the acting CBP commissioner is seemingly stating that there never were such plans, not just that they changed their mind. It sure doesn’t seem that way from the fact that the Palm Beach County sheriff claims he was told by a local Miami Border Patrol official this was going to happen. In a recorded statement, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said, “It appears that Border Patrol has backed off its initial plans to transport 1,000 illegal immigrants to South Florida.” (Emphasis added.) He thanked county residents for protesting the move “to stop what appeared to be a crisis for our community.”

Either way, it appears that DHS officials recognize the toxicity of releasing illegal aliens into the interior of the country. The problem is that they are admitting to releasing them and moving them around near the southwest border itself. That is not much better. What happens after they are moved around? They are released. And as most border officials will tell you, most of them are not staying near the border but are going to major cities in the interior of the country, most often the East Coast. So while there is much debate over what CBP does initially with the migrants, what is not in dispute is that between CBP and ICE, they have released over 200,000 impoverished illegal aliens who went into our communities.

What is important from the protests of Palm Beach and Broward, two Democrat counties, is that everyone seems to agree that the protection of Americans should come first. They laid down a clear marker that it is unacceptable for Americans to bear the fiscal cost and be on the hook for any health concerns or crime. As Governor Ron DeSantis said, “It will tax our resources, the schools, the health care, law enforcement, state agencies.” Even Democrats were furious. Sheriff Bradshaw, a registered Democrat, called it “a public safety problem,” and questioned, “What kind of health conditions do they have?” Other local Democrats decried the public safety concerns and straining of public resources.

So! If we all now believe that it is unacceptable to dump illegal immigrants into Florida, then why is it acceptable to dump them into Texas and New Mexico outside controlled tent cities right at the border? And why it is acceptable to release them after dumping them in border states and have them smuggled, often by criminal networks in the country, to the East Coast? Is it only a firehose that is a problem, but not a sprinkler system of migrants?

Also, DHS officials now admit that they are indeed using aircraft to fly illegal aliens around, although they say they will only do so to other parts of the border in order to conserve space. But again, once they are putting illegal immigrants on planes, why should the American people be on the hook for their eventual release into the interior instead of flying them back to Central America or at least to one of our islands with military bases? The trip from McAllen, Texas, to San Diego is actually 200 miles longer than a trip back to Guatemala City. Flying them from McAllen, Texas, to San Diego is not going to deter them from coming so long as they know they will be released into our country. If they were flown and held outside the country or returned to their own countries, then that would solve the numbers problem with detention facilities.

What this dust-up over the dumping of migrants in Florida has demonstrated is that now is the best time for the president to begin shifting the debate away from the needs and desires of the illegal immigrants to the needs and desires of the American people and the sovereign states, not to mention the government’s obligation to the American people and the sovereign states. We now see how bipartisan this issue truly is, once the effects are actually apparent, imminent, and brought home to our communities. According to a new Harvard/Harris poll, when asked whether people with questionable asylum claims should “be let into the United States for years until their case comes up or should they immediately be turned back to Mexico for staging,” 66 percent said that they should be turned back to Mexico. And just 13 percent of the same pool of respondents ascertained the number of migrants coming to our border. If more people realized how bad it is, the number of people opposing catch-and-release would likely be higher.

While DHS has been turning migrants back to Mexico in small numbers, the president has thus far declined to issue a complete shutoff of all asylum requests at our border and refuse entry to anyone, an executive power that was just affirmed in the Supreme Court. The American people have been forced to shoulder the burden of millions of illegal migrants from Mexico for years. The American people are clearly tired of it. Obama Judge Upholds Dem Subpoena for Trump Financial Records

By Politico. A federal judge on Monday upheld a congressional subpoena seeking President Donald Trump’s financial records from an accounting firm, arguing that Congress is well within its rights to investigate potential illegal behavior by a president — even without launching a formal impeachment inquiry.

U.S. District Court Judge Amit Mehta’s ruling delivers a striking blow to the president’s efforts to resist Democratic investigations, and is certain to give Democrats further legal basis to investigate Trump, his finances, and his presidential campaign.

In addition to upholding the House Oversight and Reform Committee’s subpoena to accounting firm Mazars USA for eight years of Trump’s financial records, Mehta took the extra step of denying the president’s request for a stay pending appeal. Trump Lashes out After Report Bank Found Suspicious Transactions

By Politico. President Donald Trump lashed out at The New York Times on Monday, disputing the paper’s reporting on his relationship with Deutsche Bank and launching into a broader criticism of the news media.

The president appeared to be responding to a Times report that anti-money laundering experts at the German bank noticed suspicious activity in accounts belonging to Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, in 2016 and 2017. According to the Times, bank executives blocked employees from reporting the suspect transactions to the U.S. Treasury, and one former employee says she was fired for raising concerns about the bank’s scrutiny of certain clients. . .

“The Failing New York Times (it will pass away when I leave office in 6 years), and others of the Fake News Media, keep writing phony stories about how I didn’t use many banks because they didn’t want to do business with me,” Trump wrote, kicking off a flurry of posts. “WRONG! It is because I didn’t need money. Very old fashioned, but true. When you don’t need or want money, you don’t need or want banks. Banks have always been available to me, they want to make money.” (Read more from “Trump Lashes out After Report Bank Found Suspicious Transactions” HERE)
