Prosecutor Charges Allegedly Violent Protesters With Terrorism

Oklahoma City prosecutors are charging three violent protesters, who allegedly participated in demonstrations triggered by the killing of George Floyd, with terrorism.

Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater announced Friday that he has charged 21-year-old Isael Antonio Ortiz, 26-year-old Eric Christopher Ruffin, and 18-year-old Malachai Davis with terrorism, the Oklahoman reported.

During protests on May 30, Ortiz allegedly burned an Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office van and attempted to burn a nearby bail bonds office. Ruffin allegedly encouraged the “wanton destruction” of the van, while Davis is accused of damaging the bail bonds office.

“This is not Seattle,” Prater said Friday, according to the Oklahoman. “We’re not putting up with this lawlessness here.” (Read more from “Prosecutor Charges Allegedly Violent Protesters With Terrorism” HERE)

Almost Half of U.S. Coronavirus Deaths Are Linked to Nursing Homes; The Good News About COVID-19 the Corporate Media Keeps Hidden

By New York Times. At least 54,000 residents and workers have died from the coronavirus at nursing homes and other long-term care facilities for older adults in the United States, according to a New York Times database. As of June 26, the virus has infected more than 282,000 people at some 12,000 facilities.

Nursing home populations are at a high risk of being infected by — and dying from — the coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, is known to be particularly lethal to adults in their 60s and older who have underlying health conditions. And it can spread more easily through congregate facilities, where many people live in a confined environment and workers move from room to room.

While 11 percent of the country’s cases have occurred in long-term care facilities, deaths related to Covid-19 in these facilities account for more than 43 percent of the country’s pandemic fatalities. (Read more from “Almost Half of U.S. Coronavirus Deaths Are Linked to Nursing Homes” HERE)

The Good News About COVID-19 the Corporate Media Keeps Hidden

By PJ Media. As the pandemic panic porn continues because identified cases are rising, Dr. Fauci is back on television, and the media is once again demanding a national response. However, there is news they don’t share with you that could help reduce the already unwarranted levels of fear. Obviously, that doesn’t fit their partisan agenda. . .

A doctor from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center said in a press conference Wednesday that people who are testing positive do not appear to be getting as sick as they did earlier in the pandemic. Dr. Donald Yealy also noted this trend was being seen in the wake of massive protests. . .

Dr. Yealy also noted that the positive case rate was about one in 400, which has remained steady for weeks. He also noted improved treatment protocols and some success with Remdisivir and other medications. Effective treatment is in addition to some success protecting the elderly and a much younger patient load testing positive. . .

Cases with mild or no symptoms are still the population health researchers are trying to get their arms around. However, recent congressional testimony regarding peer-reviewed research on antibody testing caused the CDC to increase the number of infections to 23 million Americans. It estimated that 8.7 million had likely been infected by March using data for flu-like illnesses. For every one person confirmed, serology for antibodies indicated ten had had it. Establishing this infection rate is a game-changing finding. (Read more from “The Good News About COVID-19 the Corporate Media Keeps Hidden” HERE)

Father of Teen Murdered by Illegal Alien Says BLM Ignored His Case: ‘I’m Black, Where’s Our Help?’

The father of a black teen murdered by an illegal immigrant in 2008 told “Fox & Friends” on Sunday that because his son’s case was not a matter of police brutality, he received no support from the Black Lives Matter Movement and was forced to mourn on the “sidelines” by African-American leaders.

“It seems like Black Lives Matter only focuses on black people who were murdered by the police,” Jamiel Shaw said. “You know, my son was murdered in 2008, and I reached out to anybody that would listen, especially black people, because I thought for sure I would have a lot of support in the black community.

“But, because of the illegal aliens and the way they get all the support in California, no one would jump on board because they didn’t want to have to, you know, justify the illegal-alien part. So, they just let me go by myself.”

Jamiel Shaw Jr., 17, was shot in March 2008 by illegal alien and gang member Pedro Espinoza, who mistook the high school football player as a member of a rival gang. A jury later convicted Espinoza and sentenced him to death.

“All black people should matter,” Shaw said, alleging a double-standard among the movement at the forefront of the national protests over George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis police custody last month. Trump: Intel Doesn’t Back up NYT Bombshell on Russian Bounties to Kill U.S. Troops

President Trump late Sunday said U.S. intelligence could not confirm an explosive story that Russian military officials offered bounties to militants linked to the Taliban to kill U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

The New York Times, citing unnamed officials, reported Friday that it is believed that some “Islamist militants” or “criminal elements” collected payouts. The report pointed out that 20 Americans were killed there in 2019. It was not clear if any of those deaths were the result of a bounty. . .

TASS, the state news agency, reported that the Russian Foreign Ministry called the reports “information fakes.” A Taliban spokesman also denied any truth to the report.

Thomas Joscelyn, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a think tank, told the Wall Street Journal that “Moscow’s willingness to embrace the Taliban openly and publically dates back several years” and he would not be surprised if there is truth to the report.

“The truly shocking revelation that if the Times report is true, and I emphasize that again, is that President Trump, the commander in chief of American troops serving in a dangerous theater of war, has known about this for months, according to the Times, and done worse than nothing,” Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, said during a virtual town hall. 2 Teenage Boys Murdered After Asking Man How Tall He Was

Two teenage boys were shot to death after asking the suspect how tall he was when they were buying candy from a store.

The incident occurred at approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday June 20 after three teenage boys went to a store in South Chicago to buy some candy and ended up having a brief encounter with 19-year-old Laroy Battle inside the establishment.

“The victims were walking into the store, they saw Battle, he was standing in line while at the store and the victims commented that Battle, he was quite tall, and they asked him how tall he was and hoped to be that tall someday,” said Deputy Chief of Detectives Brendan Deenihan “Unfortunately, we will never even see the full growth of these poor children.”

The three teenage boys then left the store and proceeded to walk home together when police say that Battle approached them and began shooting.

Jasean Francis, 17, was shot in the back, chest and left hand. Charles Riley, 16, was shot in the back and left leg. The third teen, who was not identified, managed to escape the gunfire. Both of the boys who were shot were taken to University of Chicago Hospital and later died from the injuries they suffered during the shooting. De Blasio Is Making NYC Unlivable

. . .The New York that survived 9/11 and bounced back stronger than ever is now being brought to its knees. The coronavirus, the economic shutdowns and the frequent street protests, mixed with pillaging and vandalism, are no ordinary hurdles, but they are surmountable — with courageous leadership.

Tragically, that’s exactly what New York doesn’t have. The crises pile up like dead leaves, but leadership is nowhere to be found.

Without it, the city is fast becoming unlivable. The slow exodus of recent years has quickened in recent months, with natives, long-timers and recent arrivals clogging the exits. They’re going to the suburbs, to Florida — anywhere but here.

Always before, the departed were replaced by new seekers. It is impossible to believe that swap will continue.

The problems are many, but the linchpin is Mayor Bill de Blasio, whose performance grows worse by the day. There is nothing endearing about his act, only a long list of examples of how little he cares. (Read more from “De Blasio Is Making NYC Unlivable” HERE)

Nearly 300 NYPD Officers File for Retirement

Close to 300 New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers have filed for retirement over the last month amid riots against the police and as violent crime keeps surging.

According to figures released to the New York Post, about 272 NYPD uniformed officers have filed for retirement since riots over the death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd began in late May. At the same time last year, about 183 officers had filed for retirement, indicating a nearly 50 percent spike in retirements this year.

One officer, who wanted to wait to retire until he hit 30 years with the NYPD, told the Post “It’s an all-out war on cops and we have no support.” More than 300 officers were injured in the recent riots.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has vowed to cut funding to the NYPD and Commissioner Dermot Shea has announced the disbanding of the city’s 600-officer undercover anti-crime unit that was responsible for keeping shootings and violent crime down. President Trump’s Job Disapproval Hits All-Time High

President Donald Trump’s disapproval rating has reached an all-time high in the wake of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic and civil unrest sparked by the death of George Floyd, according to a newly-released poll.

The latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll shows 58 percent of respondents disapprove of his job performance, while 40 percent approve. When it comes to registered voters, 57 percent stated that they disapprove of the president’s performance, while 41 percent said they support it.

The poll, conducted between June 22-24, comprised of 1,640 respondents, including 1,515 registered voters. The margin of error for respondents is 3.3 percentage points and the margin of error for registered voters is 3.5 percentage points.

The NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll comes as surveys show President Trump’s Democrat presidential opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, leads him in key battleground states such as Michigan and Wisconsin, though by a more narrow margin than failed Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016. Survey: Most U.S. Liberals Want to Rewrite Constitution

Seventy percent of self-identified “liberals” want to rewrite the U.S. Constitution “to a new American constitution that better reflects our diversity as a people,” according to survey results published in Quillette this week. Seventy-nine percent of self-identified “very liberal” respondents agreed with this suggestion.

Seventy-six and 81 percent of “liberal” and “very liberal” respondents supported the idea to “Rebalance the art shown in museums across the country until an analysis of content shows that it reflects the demography of the population and perspective of Native people and citizens of color.” Seventy-one and 80 percent of these groups, respectively, supported this idea: “Move, after public consultation, to a new American anthem that better reflects our diversity as a people.”

These were the cultural upheavals that received the highest support among the survey’s 16 suggested options, but liberals in the survey also supported many others. The survey was run by Eric Kaufmann, a professor of politics at Birkbeck College in the University of London, and administered to 870 Americans recruited from the Amazon Mechanical Turk and Prolific Academic platforms that researchers frequently use for such surveys.

“In order to find out how willing liberal Americans are to jettison the country’s cultural identity, I decided, on May 7th, to ask what I thought were outlandish questions…” he wrote. “The answers I received amazed me. I then repeated the exercise on June 15th, after the George Floyd killing and subsequent protests to see whether things had gotten even crazier. It turns out they have.” (Read more from “Survey: Most U.S. Liberals Want to Rewrite Constitution” HERE)

Coronavirus Spike Leads to Tighter Restrictions

Governors have reinstated some restrictions on businesses as new daily coronavirus cases skyrocket.

(Editor’s note: and that’s despite the fact that the CDC just admitted the Wuhan Flu death rate is ten times lower than it originally thought)

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced Friday that bars will be shut down and restaurant capacity will be capped at lower occupancy as a spike in coronavirus cases across the state has fueled a rising number of hospitalizations and driven the coronavirus positivity rate above 10%. . .

Meanwhile, COVID-19 cases continued to increase in Florida. Health officials reported 8,942 new infections Friday, eclipsing a previous single-day record of 5,511 reached on Wednesday.

Florida announced Friday that bars must be closed immediately. Florida’s Secretary of the Department of Business & Professional Regulation Halsey Beshears issued the decision just three weeks after reopening.

While Arizona’s new daily case counts are growing by the thousands, Gov. Doug Ducey has not pulled back on plans to reopen the state. From Thursday to Friday, new cases jumped about 3,400, increasing the total number of cases in the state to at least 66,400. Deaths also increased from Thursday by 45, making the total number of deaths exceed 1,500. (Read more from “Coronavirus Spike Leads to Tighter Restrictions” HERE)
