Pro-Abortion Judge Suppresses Undercover Videos Of Industry’s Operators

An abortion-linked federal judge – he reportedly helped fund a Planned Parenthood business at a “resource” center where he was on the board – has ruled that certain videos taken by undercover journalists investigating the baby-body-parts-for-sale schemes in the nation’s abortion industry never can be revealed. . .

The Federalist previously noted Judge William Orrick, who had been nominated to the post after serving as a major donor to and bundler for Obama’s campaign, issued the order.

“Both Orrick and his wife are longtime donors to San Francisco’s Good Samaritan Family Resource Center (GSFRC), where Orrick was a board member and helped fund and open a Planned Parenthood clinic on its site. That clinic sold fetal tissue to StemExpress, a for-profit wholesaler exposed by CMP’s videos and reporting,” The Federalist reported.

Orrick’s order comes in the National Abortion Federation case against David Daleiden and others at the Center for Medical Progress. Orrick had issued the same order a year ago against Daleiden in a case brought by Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest player in the abortion industry.

Courthouse News reported the decision followed a $2 million civil verdict in favor of Planned Parenthood against Daleiden, fellow activist Sandra Merritt, his anti-abortion group the Center for Medical Progress and others. High-Profile Conservative Group Endorses Lisa Murkowski

Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski received an endorsement from a high-profile conservative group, shortly after a fellow Republican announced a primary challenge for her 2022 reelection. Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), a group aligned with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), threw its support behind Murkowski on Friday morning and called the incumbent a “champion for conservative values in Washington.”

“Alaska needs the kind of experienced representation that Lisa Murkowski provides in the United States Senate. Whether fighting for Alaskan interests like expanding energy production and protecting fisheries, or advancing conservative priorities by confirming judges and cutting taxes, her strong leadership is vitally important to Alaska’s future,” SLF President Steven Law said in a release. “Many politicians put themselves first, but Lisa Murkowski always puts Alaska first.”

Florida Sues The CDC, Biden Administration

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Thursday the state is “fighting back” against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, filing a lawsuit to allow cruise ships to start sailing again.

“We don’t believe the federal government has the right to mothball a major industry for over a year based on very little evidence and very little data,” Gov. DeSantis said. “I think we have a good chance for success.”

In addition to the CDC, the lawsuit is also against the Biden administration and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, state Attorney General Ashley Moody said at a press conference.

Gottlieb recalled that Biden has been a virulent promoter of gun control throughout his decades in Washington. He featured gun control as a major part of his presidential campaign last year, and published reports say he has met with representatives from gun prohibition advocacy groups since taking office. Whoops: President Biden Repeatedly Refers To The ATF As The ‘AFT’

By Daily Caller. President Joe Biden repeatedly referred to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) as “the AFT” on Thursday.

“Today, I’m proud to nominate David Chipman to serve as the director of the AFT,” Biden said during an announcement on new gun control measures at the White House. “David knows the AFT well, he served there for 25 years and Vice President Harris and I believe he’s the right person at this moment for this important agency.”

Biden said Thursday he is enacting a series of executive actions in order to decrease gun violence across the country. The orders include a revamping of the policy over self-assembled firearms, or what are known as ghost guns.

Biden Falsely Claims That At A Gun Show ‘You Can Buy Whatever You Want — No Background Check’

By Daily Caller. President Joe Biden falsely suggested that Americans who purchase firearms at gun shows don’t need to first pass a background check prior to the transaction.

Biden said Biden said background checks aren’t required for firearm purchases at gun shows during his remarks at the White House Thursday. However, federal law already mandates firearm dealers to initiate a background check on prospective buyers at stores, gun shows or anywhere a transaction may occur, according to the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action.

“Most people don’t know that you walk into a store and buy a gun, you have a background check,” Biden said during the ceremony Thursday, in which he announced a slew of executive actions on gun violence. “But, you go to a gun show, you can buy whatever you want — no background check.”

The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act of 1993 established the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, which is maintained by the FBI and is able to determine a person’s criminal history. The legislation requires licensed firearm sellers to conduct a background check through the system before every sale. Study Reveals What Biden’s Tax Hike Will Do To American Jobs In The First Two Years

President Biden’s tax hike plan would cost the American economy one million lost jobs in the first two years, according to a study from the National Association of Manufacturers.

The study, released Thursday, details the long and short-term damage to the economy inflicted by Biden’s tax hikes and repeals of Trump’s pro-manufacturing policies. . .

The study, authored by Rice University economists John W. Diamond and George R. Zodrow, calculated the effects of increasing the corporate tax rate to 28%, increasing the top marginal tax rate, repealing the 20% pass-through deduction, eliminating certain expensing provisions, and taxing capital gains as ordinary income for individuals earning $1 million or more.

They found that the U.S. would lose one million jobs in the first two years, GDP would be $117 billion lower by 2023, and ordinary capital, or investments in equipment and structures, would be $80 billion less in 2023. First Southern State Legalizes Marijuana

Virginia legalized recreational marijuana late Wednesday night, making the state the first southern state to do so. . .

Both chambers of the state’s General Assembly passed the legislation back in February. Northam pressed the General Assembly to accelerate the schedule by three years so that individuals could begin having possession in July, according to Fox 5.

The General Assembly made the changes desired by Northam. The senate voted 20-20, with Democratic Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax breaking the tie and approving the changes, according to Fox 8.

Another Governor Says ‘No’ To Vaccine Passports

There will be no vaccine verification system in Massachusetts, Gov. Charlie Baker said, even as other states mull so-called “vaccine passports” to expedite reopening.

“I think having a conversation about creating a barrier before people have even had an opportunity to be eligible to be vaccinated — let’s focus on getting people vaccinated,” Baker said Wednesday, replying only “no” to reporters’ questions about a state vaccine passport system.

The Republican governor’s stance came the day after two lawmakers sent a letter urging Baker and Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito to develop a “robust framework” for vaccine verification as other states move forward with plans.

“Vaccine passes will allow us to live with the virus without having to impose costly lockdowns. People will feel more comfortable getting on airplanes or going to sports arenas if they know others there have been vaccinated … we can re-open our economy more fully without compromising public health,” Sen. Barry Finegold, D-Andover, and Rep. Linda Dean Campbell, D-Methuen, wrote in the Tuesday letter. “We need to confront this issue now. Biden’s Border Crisis Is The Largest Influx Of Illegal Aliens In Over 20 Years

U.S. Customs and Border Protection took more than 172,000 illegal aliens into custody in March, making it the busiest month for the agency in more than 20 years.

While nearly 53,000 of these migrants were members of family units, a record-breaking 18,890 were unaccompanied teens and children, many of whom were packed into overcrowded shelters plagued by COVID-19 spread and “dangerous” conditions for longer than the 72-hour limit permitted by federal law. Despite the Biden administration’s claims that many of those crossing the southern border are coming to the United States to seek shelter and help over gang violence and hurricane-stricken countries, the largest number of border crossings during the last month were committed by more than 99,000 single adults, many of whom are not asylum-seekers.

While the Biden administration has repeatedly denied that there’s a border crisis and blamed the abrupt migration influx on normal seasonal surges, the high numbers of illegal border crossings since the president assumed office has grown exponentially. Increases even between February and March data forced the CBP to stretch its chart to accommodate the largest numbers it has seen in at least two decades. There was an attack at the Capitol last week by a devotee of Louis Farrakhan, the 87-year-old in charge of the Nation of Islam. Noah Green bought a knife and rammed his car into the barriers on Good Friday, injuring one Capitol Police officer and killing another, Billy Evans, who leaves behind two young children. . .

“Suspect in attack at U.S. Capitol described as average jock whose mental health appeared to quickly unravel,” a Friday night USA Today headline read. . .

For those as unfamiliar with the tenets of the Nation of Islam as its leaders would like, it preaches some things like self-empowerment and self-sufficiency, but it does all this toward black supremacy, virulent racism, shocking antisemitism, and conspiracy theories that would be hysterical if so many angry, vulnerable young men didn’t believe them.

Its creation story tells of white people being made by an ancient mad scientist over centuries in his laboratory to torment the noble black race. It all begins well over 6,000 years ago, when Islam (which, they might be surprised to learn, is only a 1,400-year-old religion) controlled Africa and Asia, which were just one massive continent back then. The American Indians were bad Muslims so the black Muslims sent them to North America, but they’re generally still cool with the Nation. And the white devils, who are subhuman and have no souls, by the way, were kicked out to live in caves in Europe where our love of bestiality birthed apes and, somehow, donkeys I guess.

YouTube Pulls Video Of Florida Governor, Medical Experts For Saying Children Don’t Need Masks

YouTube pulled a video of a discussion between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and four medical experts, including one former White House adviser, because the experts questioned the efficacy of masks for children.

YouTube pulled the video on Wednesday and replaced it with a message saying, “this video has been removed for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines,” as well as a link to the platform’s guidelines. The video and transcript of the deleted post may be viewed in their entirety at the American Institute for Economic Research.

Last month, DeSantis held a roundtable discussion with Harvard University professor Dr. Martin Kulldorff, Oxford University epidemiologist Dr. Sunetra Gupta, Stanford University physician and epidemiologist Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, and Stanford professor Dr. Scott Atlas. DeSantis moderated a discussion evaluating the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
