Republicans Demand Answers From Biden About Coronavirus Origins

Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee have written letters to President Biden and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines demanding information on the origin of COVID-19, claiming they found evidence to support the theory that the virus originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab.

The letter accuses the intelligence community of failing to provide timely updates on its investigation and not being “forthcoming” about “what processes it undertook to make seemingly authoritative statements early in the pandemic about the origins of the virus — conclusions that are now in question.

“This casts doubt on the validity of early judgments as well as the analytic integrity of COVID-19-related intelligence reporting,” the letter addressed to Haines states.

“Republican Members are aware of allegations that the IC suppressed dissenting views related to the origins of the pandemic and that the community relied upon ‘outside’ experts with concerning yet undisclosed entanglements,” the letter, signed by Ranking Member Devin Nunes, R-Calif., asserts.

The letter demands that the intelligence community turn over all of its information on COVID-19’s origins, specifically requesting any reporting on a possible “collaboration” between the Wuhan lab and the Chinese military. It asked for any evidence intelligence agencies had to prove coronavirus broke out naturally and originated in animals. Sheriff’s Captain Allegedly Fired for Supporting Constitutional Carry

Alabama state Rep. Shane Stringer (R-Citronelle) was a Mobile County Sheriff’s Office captain until his support for constitutional carry allegedly led Sheriff Sam Cochran to relieve him of his law enforcement position.

AL.com reported that Cochran’s spokeswoman, Lori Myles, said, “Sheriff Sam Cochran made the decisions Wednesday, May 12, because of different political views held by his administration.”

Myles indicated “Stringer’s sponsorship of legislation supportive of constitutional carry ran afoul of the Sheriff’s views on the issue,” the outlet noted.

WALA pointed out that Stringer claims Cochran told him his termination was tied to constitutional carry legislation he is currently sponsoring.

Woman Shocked By ‘Woke,’ ‘Cancel Culture’ Books In Baby Section At Barnes & Noble

A South Florida woman was so shocked recently by “woke” and “cancel culture” books being sold in the baby section of Barnes & Noble, she recorded the titles and posted them on Facebook.

“OH MY LORD. Parents please wake up and see what is happening!” says Renee Times, a Republican precinct committeewoman in Palm Beach County.

“I took a trip to #barnesandnoble to buy a children’s gift check out some of these titles and how our children are being indoctrinated into this #woke Cancel Culture we are witnessing right before our eyes.”

Earlier this month, Pastor Artur Pawlowski, the pastor in Canada was arrested on a busy highway and dragged off by a SWAT team along with his brother. The pastor had been targeted for months because he dared to open up his church and not turn anyone away. A judge granted a warrant for police to arrest him doing “anything necessary.” Now, the pastor and his brother are out on bail.

The pastor spoke with Newsmax highlighting how the Calgary Police have been incessantly targeting him, though he doesn’t seem ready to relent any time soon. While speaking with Rob Schmitt, he likened what he has gone through to the plight of Hong Kong protesters.

“I just woke up in Hong Kong a few days ago. I mean, I thought I emigrated to our beloved Canada, but I am in Hong Kong, full force,” he said.

As the U.S. climbs out of a once-in-a-century pandemic, rising prices have led to increasing worry that rapid inflation could be just over the horizon. . .

Peter Schiff, the chief economist and global strategist of Euro Pacific Capital, warned in an interview with the DCNF that the “very substantial” decline Americans could witness in their standard of living is a result of heightened federal spending throughout the pandemic.

“People are going to be paying higher insurance, they’re going to be paying higher property taxes, local tax, utility rates are going to go way up,” Schiff said. “The 100% cause of inflation is the government … It’s when the government spends money that it doesn’t collect in taxes and then the Federal Reserve monetizes the resulting deficits by printing money.” . . .

“Trillions of dollars in the United States, over a trillion dollars in the E.U. … That’s what’s behind the inflation we’re seeing right now,” Olsen added. “When the developed world is basically throwing money at something and people, it’s more than people can absorb, and they bid up prices.”

Olsen discussed that since the pandemic largely prevented Americans from spending money on services or taking vacations, they wound up saving money instead, contributing to last year’s decline in prices. A Bureau of Economic Analysis report from April showed that personal income rose 21.1% and spending jumped 4.2% in March as a result of the accelerating rebound from the pandemic, adding more money to the economy aside from the stimulus. Chilling Changes Are Coming Out Of The Biden Administration’s HHS Redefining Sex

It should come as no surprise that the Biden administration would bring about radical changes. Earlier this week, the Department of Health & Human Services issued new policy, “HHS Announces Prohibition on Sex Discrimination Includes Discrimination on the Basis of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.”

The policy literally redefines “sex” and flies in the face of biology in doing so. The policy announced that “the Office for Civil Rights will interpret and enforce Section 1557 and Title IX’s prohibitions on discrimination based on sex to include: (1) discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation; and (2) discrimination on the basis of gender identity.” . . .

Townhall spoke to APP’s Jon Schweppe, who is the the director of policy and government affairs. A main concern to do with the policy is that it could affect the conscience protections of medical providers, specifically those who don’t approve of minors who want to go through the transition of changing genders.

“Any doctor who conscientiously objects to gender ideology for either religious or scientific reasons — or even both in many cases — will be forced to fight in court for their right to follow their professional judgment and do best by their patients,” he said.

He also confirmed fears to do with Levine, who is the first openly transgender person confirmed by the Senate, and seems perfectly fine with minors undergoing the genital mutilation and sterilization that comes with sex changes. Israel Nears Full Blown War With Hamas; Dems Divide Over Israel on Full Display; U.S. Evacuates Military Personnel From Israel

By Fox News. Escalating violence between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas has cast a spotlight on deepening Democratic divisions over the Jewish state.

The party split played out in full view on social media this week after Hamas launched indiscriminate rocket attacks at Israel, which responded with airstrikes on Hamas targets in Gaza, reportedly killing some civilians. Israel is also dealing with domestic unrest from Arab rioters.

International observers are concerned about the possibility of “full-scale war.” . . .

President Biden and the Democratic old guard have voiced support for Israel’s right to defend itself from Hamas’ rocket attacks.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken noted Thursday that there are “fundamental differences between a terrorist organization, Hamas, that is indiscriminately raining down rockets — in fact, targeting civilians — and Israel’s response defending itself, that is targeting the terrorists.” Biden similarly said that Israel “has a right to defend itself.”

U.S. Evacuates 120 Military Personnel From Israel As Violence Continues: Report

By Fox News. The Pentagon’s chief spokesman said Thursday that the U.S. evacuated 120 Defense Department personnel from Israel who were in the country for a routine planning conference to discuss future military exercises between U.S. and Israeli troops, a report said.

“This particular planning conference was already scheduled to wrap up this week, but we did accelerate the departures of these individuals in full coordination with our Israeli counterparts,” John Kirby, the spokesman, said, according to Stars and Stripes.

Expert Claims He Found Why Some COVID-19 Vaccines Trigger Clot Issues

Scientists world-wide are racing to understand why Covid-19 vaccines from AstraZeneca PLC and Johnson & Johnson are causing rare but potentially deadly blood clots.

Determining the connection would help patients, doctors and health agencies better assess any risks posed by the vaccines and safely calibrate their use. In recent weeks, the U.S., the Canadian province of Ontario and several European countries including Norway and Denmark either paused or completely halted rollouts involving these vaccines.

“Understanding the cause is of highest importance for the next-generation vaccines, because [the novel] coronavirus will stay with us and vaccination will likely become seasonal,” said Eric van Gorp, a professor at Erasmus University in the Netherlands who heads a group of scientists studying the condition.

In Germany, one researcher thinks he has found what is triggering the clots. Andreas Greinacher, a blood expert, and his team at the University of Greifswald believe so-called viral vector vaccines—which use modified harmless cold viruses, known as adenoviruses, to convey genetic material into vaccine recipients to fight the coronavirus—could cause an autoimmune response that leads to blood clots. According to Prof. Greinacher, that reaction could be tied to stray proteins and a preservative he has found in the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Prof. Greinacher and his team has just begun examining Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine but has identified more than 1,000 proteins in AstraZeneca’s vaccine derived from human cells, as well as a preservative known as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, or EDTA. Their hypothesis is that EDTA, which is common to drugs and other products, helps those proteins stray into the bloodstream, where they bind to a blood component called platelet factor 4, or PF4, forming complexes that activate the production of antibodies. High School Threatens Students With Truancy And Fines For Protesting Mask Rules

Dozens of students in Wisconsin’s Tomahawk School District are looking at truancy citations after walking out of classes last week in a protest against the school system’s stringent mask policy. Tomahawk Police Chief Al Elvins tells Empower Wisconsin the students will be cited, at the district’s request, and will each face a $98.60 fine.

The demonstrations began on May 3, with several students who demanded the district end its mandatory mask policy on school property. On May 5, approximately 50 students walked out after they were dissatisfied with what sources say was a fruitless meeting with the administration.

Ryan Hawley’s high school son walked out the first day of the protests, which was billed as a “No Mask Monday.” The small group of students was met by the school resource officer who told them to put their masks on and go back to class. All but two complied. . .

More students joined the demonstration on May 4, with a half dozen or so being sent home, Hawley and other parents said, adding that Tomahawk administrators have been unyielding on the mask policy and have refused to listen to opponents. . .
