Florida and Alaska Join Keystone XL Pipeline Lawsuit Against Biden

Two more state attorneys general are joining the ongoing lawsuit initially filed by 21 other states against the Biden White House for its cancelation of the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen made the announcement on behalf of Florida and Alaska on Thursday, noting, “The Constitution is clear that presidents do not have the power to regulate foreign and interstate commerce or to unilaterally undo an act of Congress.” The complaint filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas now includes Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody and Alaska Attorney General Treg Taylor.

Within hours of assuming the presidency, Joe Biden revoked the permit for the pipeline. In January 2017, President Donald Trump reauthorized its construction after President Barack Obama rejected the proposal in 2015. RNC Threatens To Pull Out of 2024 Debates Unless ‘Significant Reforms’ Made

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel says she may advise 2024 presidential candidates not to take part in future debates unless “significant reforms” are made.

In a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates, dated Tuesday and reviewed by The Post, McDaniel laid out the GOP’s grievances with how forums during the 2020 race were conducted.

“The CPD’s repeated missteps and the partisan actions of its board members make clear that the organization no longer provides the fair and impartial forum for presidential debates which the law requires and the American people deserve,” the RNC chairwoman began by noting.

“Unless the CPD adopts significant reforms to ensure that it better fulfills this important, nonpartisan function, the RNC will have no choice but to advise its future nominees against participating in CPD-hosted debates.”

Pompeo: Probe Into COVID Origins Has Been ‘Suppressed’ (VIDEO)

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Thursday he faced pushback into probing the origins of the Wuhan coronavirus from both within his agency and from the National Institutes of Health.

“[NIH] folks were trying to suppress what we were doing at the State Department as well,” he told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle,” adding that this was in addition to the pushback he normally received at the State Department from those who were against him and former President Trump.

NIH Director Dr. Francis Collins, however, recently said that he did not dismiss the possibility of a lab leak.

Landlords Ask Supreme Court To Strike Down COVID Eviction Moratorium

A group of Alabama landlords is asking the Supreme Court to strike down a nationwide eviction moratorium put in place during the coronavirus pandemic.

The request, filed late Thursday evening, came after a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., declined to end the policy, which was instituted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention last year. The group, led by the Alabama Association of Realtors, said CDC officials had overstepped their authority by halting evictions.

The group asked Chief Justice John Roberts, who handles requests from the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, to grant an emergency order allowing evictions to resume. . .

The CDC’s moratorium is set to expire in June. Its expiration date has already been extended several times. Rioters in Minneapolis were seen looting and setting a dumpster ablaze Thursday night after agents with the U.S. Marshals Service fatally shot a suspect.

At around 2:10 p.m., law enforcement tried to apprehend a suspect who was wanted for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. The individual was shot dead after he allegedly refused to obey commands and drew a handgun.

Protesters gathered in the area hours after the encounter and were observed putting up barricades and lighting a dumpster on fire at around 10 p.m.

Other footage showed rioters smashing the windows of a T-Mobile store and ransacking the inside.

Former President Donald Trump pointed to the trove of emails belonging to Dr. Anthony Fauci to demand the scientist answer “questions,” including what he knew about “gain of function” research at the Chinese lab — and insisted that China pay $10 trillion to the United States for the possible virus leak.

“There are a lot of questions that must be answered by Dr. Fauci. The funding of Wuhan by the U.S. was foolishly started by the Obama Administration in 2014 but ended under the Trump Administration. When I heard about it, I said ‘no way.’ What did Dr. Fauci know about ‘gain of function’ research, and when did he know it?,” Trump said in a statement that was sent out via email Thursday.

In a second email moments later, he added, “Now everyone, even the so-called ‘enemy,’ are beginning to say that President Trump was right about the China Virus coming from the Wuhan Lab. The correspondence between Dr. Fauci and China speaks too loudly for anyone to ignore. China should pay Ten Trillion Dollars to America, and the World, for the death and destruction they have caused!” . . .

“After seeing the emails, our Country is fortunate I didn’t do what Dr. Fauci wanted me to do. For instance, I closed our Borders to China very early despite his not wanting them closed. WH Now Backing ‘Incredible’ Dr. Anthony Fauci; Refuses Comment on Explosive Emails

By Breitbart. The White House declined to discuss newly revealed emails from Dr. Anthony Fauci on Thursday, defending the public health official who President Joe Biden elevated to a prominent position.

“The president and the administration feel that Dr. Fauci has played an incredible role in getting the pandemic under control, being a voice to the public throughout the course of the pandemic,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said during the daily press briefing.

She declined to speak about some of the more controversial emails, arguing they were from the previous administration.

“It’s obviously not advantageous for me to re-litigate the substance of emails from 17 months ago,” Psaki said.

Fauci faces a number of questions about his early understanding on the effectiveness of masks, the origin and character of the coronavirus, and his guidelines for closing churches that have spread rapidly on social media. Fauci Defends China, Claims It’s ‘Far Out’ COVID Was Created in a Lab

Dr. Anthony Fauci rushed to China’s defense in two separate interviews — claiming the theory that COVID-19 leaked from a Wuhan laboratory is “far out” and that Americans should refrain from “pointing fingers” at the Chinese Communist Party, despite earlier claims he was keeping an “open mind” about the virus’ origin.

Fauci repeated his claim that he was keeping “an open mind” that the virus may have been man-made, before throwing cold water on the possibility later in the same CNN interview.

“The idea, I think, is quite far-fetched that the Chinese deliberately engineered something so that they could kill themselves, as well as other people. I think that’s a bit far out,” he said.

Questions about what Fauci knew and when regarding the lab leak theory have swirled this week since thousands of pages of his emails were posted online by BuzzFeed News, which obtained them through the Freedom of Information Act. They include how he was warned that COVID may have been engineered.

Witnesses: Surge in Illegal Aliens From Muslim Terror-Linked Nations

President Joe Biden’s open border policies are attracting a historic surge of potentially dangerous illegal immigrants, many from non-Central-American Muslim nations, according to new eyewitness reports.

“It’s up 300%, 400%. Be prepared. They’re coming,” according to a new report from border expert Todd Bensman, who has been charting the historic traffic of illegal immigrants since Biden took office.

His report highlighted a ‘record 10,000 so-called ‘extracontinental’ migrants” — or those not from Latin America.

While journalists have been focused on the crossings of Latin Americans at the U.S.-Mexico line, Bensman’s latest report for the Center for Immigration Studies comes from a well-known passage area in Panama where suspected terrorists and others unable to legally get into the United States travel through. He quoted a House lawmaker and two journalists who charted the trafficking surge.

“The numbers are the highest ever this month. They have dramatically, dramatically, dramatically increased,” journalist Michael Yon told him from Panama.

After emails surfaced this week showing Dr. Anthony Fauci was told Wuhan coronavirus could have been engineered in a Chinese laboratory, Republicans on the House Oversight Committee are calling on him to testify about the origins of the pandemic.

“On May 24, 2021, we wrote to you requesting you to join House Republican efforts to hold the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) accountable for its role in unleashing the COVID-19 pandemic. You have ignored that request,” Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis Ranking Member Steve Scalise and Oversight Committee Ranking Member James Comer wrote in a letter Tuesday to Chairman James Clyburn and Chairwoman Caroline Maloney. “Recent reporting makes this request even more urgent. Just yesterday, thousands of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s emails were released via the Freedom of Information Act. His emails debunk many Democrats’ claims from the past year that he and other Administration scientists were “muzzled” by the Trump Administration. More importantly, the emails contain new evidence regarding the origins of COVID-19, including the possibility it leaked from a U.S. taxpayer funded laboratory.”

U.S. Border Patrol agents have rescued a group of migrants seen on video nearly drowning while trying to cross the Rio Grande River into Texas.

The incident unfolded Wednesday in Roma, west of McAllen, and was captured on video by Fox News’ Sara Carter.

“I’m drowning!” one of the migrants could be heard yelling as body parts are seen emerging and then disappearing from the surface of the water.

Agents rushed down the river bank and came to the aid of the migrants.

Elsewhere in Texas, Houston Police say they arrested two suspects in what appears to be a human smuggling case.
