Sen. Ron Wyden’s (D-OR) son took to Twitter on Sunday to take aim at his father’s proposed tax policies.

“Why does he hate us / the American dream so much?!?!?!?!” Florida-based hedge fund manager Adam Wyden wrote in a Twitter missive directed at the senator. “Reality is: most legislators have never built anything… so I guess it’s easier to mindlessly and haphazardly try and tear stuff down. Thankfully, I think I can compound faster than my dad and his cronies can confiscate it.”

He was responding to a message the senior Wyden directed at SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk. The Oregon senator has proposed taxing billionaires of unrealized capital gains — meaning Musk would be forced to annually sell off certain assets, such as stocks, in order to cover taxes imposed on the rising value of his holdings.

42 Fully Vaccinated Indiana Residents Have Died Of COVID-19 Over 1 Week; Matthew McConaughey Says He Wants to ‘Find Out More Information’ Before Mandating Vaccines for His Children

By International Business Times. More than 40 fully vaccinated residents have died of COVID-19 in Indiana over the past week as breakthrough infections continue to rise, according to state data.

Indiana health officials recorded 42 cases of breakthrough COVID-19 deaths among the fully vaccinated between Oct. 29 and Nov. 4. The state has now reported 623 deaths among the fully vaccinated, which represents 0.018% of its inoculated population.

At least 89% of the breakthrough deaths involved fully vaccinated individuals aged 65 and older, with an average age of 78, according to the state’s COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard.

During the same period, the state also recorded 2,994 new confirmed COVID-19 cases among the fully vaccinated. The state has reported a total of 59,228 breakthrough infections since the beginning of the pandemic, representing 1.753% of its fully vaccinated population.

Breakthrough COVID-19 hospitalizations also increased over the past week. Between Oct. 29 and Nov. 4, health officials recorded 84 new admissions. There are currently 1,268 inoculated residents admitted with the novel coronavirus statewide. The figures represent 0.038% of the state’s fully vaccinated population. Matthew McConaughey Says He Wants to ‘Find Out More Information’ Before Mandating Vaccines for His Children

Speaking at The New York Times’ DealBook summit, the 52-year-old actor expressed hesitancy to require his children to get the vaccine.

Now Bill Gates Predicts America May Face a Civilization-Ending Small Pox Pandemic Unless We Spend Tens of Billions

Bill Gates has warned governments to prepare for smallpox terror attacks and future pandemics by investing billions into research and development. . .

He said that countries like the US and the UK must spend “tens of billions” to fund the research adding that while it may be expensive, it could lead to the eradication of the flu and common cold.

“I’m hoping in five years, I can write a book called, ‘We are ready for the next pandemic’, but it’ll take tens of billions in R&D – the US and the UK will be part of that”, he said.

“It’ll take probably about a billion a year for a pandemic Task Force at the WHO level, which is doing the surveillance and actually doing what I call ‘germ games’ where you practise.”

The Microsoft founder suggested that the ‘germ games’ could prepare nations for bio-terrorism such as smallpox attacks on airports. Mr Gates warned that bioterrorism caused epidemics could be worse than naturally occurring ones. Inflation Surges To Highest Level In 30 Years

The Consumer Price Index increased 0.9% in October, bringing the key inflation indicator’s year-over-year increase to 6.2% as supply shortages continue and demand grows, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced Wednesday.

The year-over-year inflation figure is an increase from September’s 5.3% level, marking the highest level in 30 years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report. Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal projected the CPI would increase to just 5.9% in October. . .

“I do think we’re moving into a new phase where inflation is broader and where things are going to get a little more intense,” Laura Rosner-Warburton, senior economist at MacroPolicy Perspectives, told the WSJ. “Part of that reflects that [supply-chain] bottlenecks are not resolved going into the holiday season, when a lot of purchases get made, and that the economy is doing really well, so you have strong demand.” (Read more from “Inflation Surges To Highest Level In 30 Years” HERE)

School Board Member Publicized Parents’ Social Security Numbers, Divorce Proceedings, Financial Records In Effort To Track Outspoken Parents

Parents with children enrolled in the Scottsdale Unified School District were appalled when they uncovered that one of the district’s school board members had editing access to a Google Drive that included personal pictures and information on a slew of outspoken parents, including their social security numbers, a divorce proceeding, and financial records.

Mother Kim Stafford uncovered a Google Drive link when school board President Jann-Michael Greenberg sent her an email accusing her of “anti-Semitic” comments against billionaire George Soros. Greenburg sent Stafford a screenshot of his desktop, which included a since-deleted Google Drive URL reviewed by the Daily Caller. The drive was available to anyone who had the link.

Stafford shared the link with her friends, including mother Amanda Wray who told the Daily Caller she was “disgusted” when she saw that the drive included pictures of her 8 and 10-year-old daughters.

Parents have since dubbed the Google Drive an “online dossier.” The folders housed within the dossier are labeled “SUSD Wackos,” “Press Conference Psychos,” and “Anti Mask Lunatics,” among others. Included under “Press Conference Psychos” was a video that shows parents calmly holding signs that read “CRT is Racist” and “SUSD We Demand Transparency.”

The dossier takes specific aim at the concerned parent group “Community Advocacy Network” (CAN). Administrators and founders of CAN’s active Facebook page have folders dedicated to screenshots of their Facebook comments, pictures of them with their husbands, and in some cases financial records. Months After Migrant Surge, DHS Rewards Haiti With Eligibility for Guest Worker Visa Programs

The Department of Homeland Security said in a Federal Register notice on Wednesday that it is making Haiti eligible once again for two guest worker visa programs, despite being removed under the Trump administration over cases of fraud and the significant number of overstays.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas “has determined, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, that Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Cyprus, the Dominican Republic (currently only eligible for H-2A), Haiti, Mauritius, and Saint Lucia should be designated as eligible countries to participate in the H-2A and H-2B non-immigrant visa programs because the participation of these countries is in the U.S. interest consistent with the regulations governing these programs,” the notice states.

The Department claimed adding Haiti back to these two programs “serves U.S. interest and is consistent with the whole-of-government efforts to address the root causes of irregular migration and create lawful pathways for a safe, orderly, and legal migration.”

So, we have this clip of Fauci fearmongering about AIDS where his imperial majesty said that you could catch AIDS just by “casual contact.” So, AIDS spreads like the flu? Yeah, talk about being dead wrong. He was wrong about the Wuhan grants. He was wrong about masks. And he did an ace job destroying the credibility of the vaccines by acting as if they don’t work. Lawmakers Demand U.S. Punish Country for Criminalizing Christianity as a ‘Hate Crime’ (VIDEO)

Six Republican U.S. representatives Wednesday issued a letter demanding that the United States take action against Finland for criminalizing Christianity through its hate crimes laws.

Prosecutors in Finland are pressing charges against a Protestant bishop and a member of the national Parliament for publicly stating what the Bible teaches about sex and marriage.

Bishop Juhana Pohjola and Parliament member Paivi Rasanen face fines and up to two years in prison under “hate crimes” laws that effectively criminalize speech and set the government up as the arbiter of what religious beliefs are legal in Finland. One of the charges against Rasanen is the alleged crime of posting a Bible verse on Twitter.

“Free people should not have to violate and recant their deepest convictions to remain part of a free society,” the U.S. lawmakers write in response to this situation. “True religious liberty both protects an individual’s right both to hold beliefs that are unpopular with the prevailing cultural winds of the world, but also their right to live out authentically and profess the truths they hold dear without fear of government interference. Those rights are fundamental and unalienable to the whole human race, and it is critical to the flourishing of both the human soul and civil society.”

Rasanen and Pohjola have each been interrogated for hours by Finnish officials for stating beliefs that Christians have held for thousands of years. They will stand trial in January.

At 28 Percent Approval, Say Goodbye to Kamala Harris Being Plan B to an Aging Biden

She was supposed to be the one-term president’s successor. The vice president who would take the torch from a by-then-80-something Joe Biden and carry on the administration’s agenda while becoming the first woman and the first woman of color to capture the White House as the nation’s 47th president.

But as things stand now, one has to wonder how Kamala Harris even remains on the ticket in 2024, regardless of who the nominee might be. A USA Today-Suffolk University poll finds that just 28 percent of voters — less than 3 in 10 — approve of the job Harris is doing. For context, that’s 10 points below her boss (38 percent approve, 59 percent disapprove). For more context, Harris was at 46 percent approval and 40 percent disapproval upon entering office, per USA Today-Suffolk. . .

It’s been 153 days since her last sit-down interview with a major broadcast news entity, in the form of NBC’s Lester Holt. You may recall that was the beginning of the end of the administration’s confidence in her abilities to handle even the most basic of questions. . .

The vice president has yet to do a solo press conference. Out of sight, out of mind. And when judging Harris solely on the primary task she was given by the president, 23 percent approve of the administration’s handling of the U.S. border, or less than one-quarter. Key Rittenhouse Witness Claims He Was Asked to Change His Statement by Prosecution; Prosecution Rests in Trial After Witness Admits He Pointed Gun at Him

By Daily Caller. A key witness for the prosecution in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial testified Tuesday that he was asked to change his statement by the prosecution team.

Nathan DeBruin was taking photographs of the events the night that Rittenhouse killed two protestors and injured another, according to WISN.

Prosecutor Thomas Binger asked DeBruin to identify a person in a picture, according to DeBruin’s testimony.

When DeBruin didn’t know who the person was, Binger allegedly identified the person as Joshua Zaminsky. . .

Prosecution Rests in Rittenhouse Trial After Witness Admits He Pointed Gun at Him

By Washington Examiner. Prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial rested their case Tuesday following a week of testimony that at times appeared to hurt them more than help.

Much of the explosive testimony came on Monday when Gaige Grosskreutz , the only person to survive being shot by Rittenhouse, lent support to the defense’s central claim that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense on Aug. 25, 2020. That night, Rittenhouse shot and wounded Grosskreutz in the arm minutes after fatally shooting Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26.

Grosskreutz, a trained EMT who traveled to Kenosha on his own behalf to render medical aid to protesters, testified Monday as the state’s star witness.

However, his testimony underscored the uphill battle prosecutors have faced trying to prove Rittenhouse was a trigger-happy tourist who purposely inserted himself into the chaos unfolding in Kenosha.

Hundreds of protesters showed up to the small Wisconsin manufacturing town after footage went viral of white police officer Rusten Sheskey shooting Jacob Blake Jr ., a black man, seven times in the back.
