Ex-Clinton Adviser Predicts Dems Will ‘Dump’ Biden in Favor of Hillary in 2024

Democrats plan to “dump” President Biden and call on Hillary Clinton to run for a third time in 2024 out of fear that a more radical left-wing candidate could end up on the ticket, veteran political consultant Dick Morris said in a new interview.

The longtime Bill Clinton adviser made the prediction on John Catsimatidis’ WABC radio show “Cats Roundtable” Sunday morning amid renewed speculation that 79-year-old Biden will not seek a second term.

Dems “are planning to dump Biden,” said the self-proclaimed “secret adviser” to former President Donald Trump, adding that Clinton would be the party’s nominee if no other centrist candidate emerged.

“Once Biden pulls out, the polling will show that the Democrats are leaning toward some crazy radical like Gavin Newson, Bernie Sanders. Maybe even AOC herself,” Morris opined.

“That’s going to drive the Democratic Party leaders to go to Hillary and say, ‘Hey look. Please run again. We need you to save us from the crazy left,” he continued. “Otherwise we’ll have Sanders as our candidate. We’ll lose Congress by a ton. While the US Dollar Tramples the Euro, Pound and Yen, Russia’s Ruble Skyrockets Against the Greenback

While the U.S. dollar has soared in value against a basket of worldwide fiat currencies, Russia’s ruble climbed 4.5% against the greenback this week. During the first week of September, Russia told the press China would pay for natural gas with rubles and yuan. Moreover, Switzerland’s imports of Russian gold reached a high not seen since April 2020. . .

This week the U.S. Dollar Currency Index (DXY) skyrocketed to new heights leaving a great number of fiat currencies worldwide badly bruised. For instance, two days ago, the European Union’s euro tapped a 20-year low against the U.S. dollar dropping to $0.973 on Friday.

Presently, the euro is even lower at $0.9690, and it is down 2.82% against the greenback during the past 30 days. 30-day statistics indicate the yen is down 4.72%, the sterling pound shed 8.17%, and the Canadian dollar lost 4.78%. The Chinese yuan breached a 7:1 exchange rate against the U.S. dollar for the first time in two years.

However, Russia’s native fiat currency the ruble has been more resilient this year, and it started to see gains a month after the start of the Ukraine-Russia war. Toward the end of June, Russia’s ruble tapped a seven-year high against the U.S. dollar, and at the time economists said “don’t ignore the [ruble’s] exchange rate.”

This Friday, while America’s native fiat currency climbed to new heights against various currencies worldwide, the ruble climbed 4.5% against the USD. The ruble managed to do this while the DXY breached a 20-year high following the Federal Reserve’s recent rate hike. The rising ruble follows Russian president Vladimir Putin explaining earlier this week that he vows to use “all means available” to win the war with Ukraine. The Case for Impeachment Gets Stronger

Over six months ago, I made the case here at American Greatness for impeaching Joe Biden. The case has only grown stronger in the interim. Not only has more information come to light about Biden’s illegal conduct, but he also has pushed a number of new policies that are constitutionally suspect at best and deserve intensive congressional scrutiny—assuming the Republicans don’t blow the midterms in November.

I argued that the impeachment effort should be about educating moderate voters, independent voters, and even working-class Democrats about the stunning number of unconstitutional actions undertaken by the Biden Administration. It doesn’t matter if the GOP doesn’t have the two-thirds vote necessary in the Senate to convict and remove Biden from office. That’s not the point. After all, a successful impeachment and removal would put Kamala Harris in the Oval Office, and she may be even worse.

Some pundits claim that impeaching Biden would hurt the GOP politically. That’s nuts. The Democrats impeached Trump twice and used those hearings to convince many former Trump voters to abandon him in 2020. Along with all the “2000 Mules”-type cheating, it worked.

Similarly, the GOP should drag out the impeachment hearings for a year while they feature an array of credible witnesses to testify how this man has declared war on the American middle class and brought our country to the brink of economic collapse. Try as they might, such political theater would be difficult for the media to ignore.

Biden’s impeachable actions include his refusal to enforce immigration laws; the debacle in Afghanistan; the nuclear deal with Iran; the Hunter Biden scandal; using the COVID epidemic to illegally accumulate power; weaponizing the FBI and Department of Justice against Americans; violating the rights of January 6 protestors; and working with Big Tech to censor the First Amendment rights of Americans. Liz Cheney Says She Will Leave GOP if Trump Wins 2024 Nomination

Republican representative Liz Cheney (Wyo.) vowed to leave the GOP if former president Trump secures the party’s 2024 nomination and said she would start supporting Democrats to help prevent MAGA candidates from getting elected.

“I’m going to make sure Donald Trump, I’m going to do everything I can to make sure he is not the nominee. And if he is the nominee, I won’t be a Republican,” Cheney said at The Texas Tribune festival Saturday.

In Arizona gubernatorial race, Cheney said she would intervene and speak out against GOP nominee Kari Lake, a former TV news anchor turned populist politician who has alleged widespread fraud in the 2020 election. She has made re-litigating that election the cornerstone of her campaign.

“I’m going to do everything I can to make sure Kari Lake is not elected,” Cheney said. She affirmed that she would campaign for Democrats to ensure this outcome.

Jen Psaki Makes Dire Midterm Prediction for Democrats

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki made a confession unfavorable to the Democrats on Sunday, saying they fully know “they will lose” if the 2022 midterm elections are a referendum on President Joe Biden.

Psaki made her prediction during an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press as she shared her opinions on the strengths and weaknesses of the Democrats going into the November elections. In her view, Democrats are vulnerable on the issues of crime and the economy, while they hold the high ground on “extremism.”

“Look, I think that Democrats, if the election is about who is the most extreme, as we saw, you know, Kevin McCarthy touch on there with Marjorie Taylor Greene, I’ll say her name, sitting over his left side, then they’re going to win. If it is a referendum on the president, they will lose, and they know that,” Psaki said. She was referring to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA).

Progress in Cancer Treatment Has Saved 3.5 Million Lives Since 1991, Experts Say

According to new research, the last decade has seen “unprecedented progress” in the treatment of cancer, and more people than ever are surviving the disease, reports CBS News.

Annual statistics reported by the American Cancer Society (ACS) found that the U.S. cancer death rate has declined by 32% from 1991 to 2019 – a decrease that the ACS says saved 3.5 million lives.

“The U.S. cancer death rate is steadily declining, and more people than ever before are living longer and fuller lives after a cancer diagnosis,” states this year’s American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Cancer Progress Report. “In fact, the number of children and adults living with a history of cancer exceeded a record 18 million in January 2022.”

Research into cancer-fighting has led to a number of recent innovations. Between August 1, 2021, and July 31, 2022, the Food and Drug Administration approved “eight new anticancer therapeutics, 10 already approved therapeutics for use for new cancer types, and two new diagnostic imaging agents,” according to CBS News. Court Allows Arizona’s Near-Total Abortion Ban to Go Into Effect

Arizona’s Pima County Superior Court lifted an injunction Friday that had prevented enforcement of a state ban on abortion unless necessary to save a mother’s life, allowing the law to go into effect.

The court declared the state measure, now called Arizona Criminal Code § 13-3603, unconstitutional within weeks of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision. After Roe v. Wade’s June reversal, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich motioned the Pima County Superior Court to remove the decades-old injunction against enforcing the statute. . .

Arizona already passed a law restricting abortion after 15 weeks gestation earlier this year. The measure said it did not affect § 13-3603’s validity.

The court rejected plaintiff Planned Parenthood Arizona’s request for a modified injunction allowing licensed doctors to be exempt from § 13-3603. The organization said Friday the ruling was “sending Arizonans back 150 years” and its lawyers were mulling next steps. Elon Musk Announces He’s Activating Starlink Internet in Iran Amid Protests

Elon Musk announced he is activating Starlink satellite internet service in Iran after the nation cut off communications during recent protests.

Musk made the news public on Friday following a policy change by the Treasury Department earlier the same day, allowing companies to provide online services to Iran after the government’s crackdown. . .

Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo also noted that the new move by the U.S. government would increase options for internet communications for the Iranian people.

“As courageous Iranians take to the streets to protest the death of Mahsa Amini, the United States is redoubling its support for the free flow of information to the Iranian people,” Adeyemo said in a statement to Reuters. Putin Shows His Cards: Ukraine’s Zelensky Says Nuclear War ‘Could Be a Reality’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Sunday nuclear war “could be a reality” as Russia ramps up increasingly ominous saber-rattling threats.

“He wants to scare the whole world,” Zelensky said of Russian President Vladimir Putin during an interview on CBS’ “Face The Nation.”

“Look, maybe yesterday it was bluff. Now, it could be a reality,” he said of a possible nuclear strike seven months into the war — accusing the Kremlin of “nuclear blackmail.”

“He targeted and occupied our nuclear power plant and the city of Enerhodar. This nuclear station has six blocks. And… he continues his blackmail related to us exporting electricity to Europe.” . . .

Poll: More Than Half of Democrats Don’t Want Biden as 2024 Nominee

More than half of Democrats responding to a new survey have revealed they would prefer a candidate other than President Joe Biden as their candidate in 2024.

The ABC News/Washington Post poll found that 56% of Democrats wanted a different candidate, with just 35% preferring Biden in the next presidential election.

“Looking two years off, just 35 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents favor Biden for the 2024 nomination; 56 percent want the party to pick someone else. Republicans and GOP-leaning independents, for their part, split 47-46 percent on whether Donald Trump should be their 2024 nominee – a 20-point drop for Trump compared with his 2020 nomination,” a news release regarding the poll stated. “The unpopularity of both figures may encourage third-party hopefuls, though they rarely do well.”
