State Poised to Ban Christians, Muslims, and Jews From Teaching in Public Schools

from teaching in public schools by requiring that every state-certified teacher “fosters an environment that ensures student identities such as … gender identity … are … affirmed.” Once the new requirements clear a final procedural hurdle, they will be immediately challenged in state and possibly federal court, a civil liberties lawyer told The Federalist on Tuesday.

“We have lots of parents who are upset by this sort of thing in schools already,” said Doug Seaton, president of Minnesota’s Upper Midwest Law Center, in an interview. “They’re going to be even more upset with how their teachers are going to be licensed. Their teachers are going to have to be faced with hiding their beliefs or getting denied [for a state teaching license].”

Seaton said it was accurate to describe the nearly finalized regulations as communicating: “Christians, Muslims, and Jews need not apply for Minnesota teaching jobs.” That is unconstitutional, he said, so UMLC plans to sue once the changes go into effect.

The state agency that composed the changes disputed they would effectively ban religious Americans from teaching in Minnesota schools through a spokeswoman on Wednesday. The spokeswoman did not respond to a follow-up asking how Christians, Jews, and Muslims could adhere to their faith while complying with the licensing requirements that all new teachers publicly reject their faiths’ declaration that God has created only two sexes, male and female. Report: Cancer Death Rate Dropped 33% Since 1991, While Some Cancers Have Risen

A new report revealed that the cancer death rate in the United States has gone down 33% since 1991, even as some concerns remain over rises in other cancers.

The report, published in the CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians on Thursday, said that even though the pandemic happened, and was different from other top mortality causes, the death rate from cancer kept going down from 2019 to 2020. This assisted in a comprehensive drop of 33% since 1991, and around 3.8 million deaths avoided by estimation.

However, not all cancer rates went down. The prostate cancer rate went up 3% per year from 2014 to 2019 after it had been going down for twenty years. Breast and uterine corpus cancers also went up. Early discovery can help with all of these cancers, the report stated.

AG Garland Announces Special Counsel to Probe Biden’s Classified Document Scandal

In an awkward turn of events, President Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Thursday afternoon that the Biden DOJ was appointing a special counsel to investigate President Biden and his apparent mishandling of classified government documents that were found in Biden’s Delaware garage and a University of Pennsylvania office he used in D.C.

Garland announced that Robert Hur — a veteran of the Justice Department and the former U.S. Attorney in the District of Maryland under Trump who handled high-profile national security matters — would conduct an investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents following his service as vice president in the Obama administration to determine whether any illegal activity took place.

The appointment of a special counsel follows an initial investigation of the mishandled documents by a U.S. attorney in Illinois, and an FBI assessment to discern if classified information was mishandled by Biden in accordance with federal law, the result of which led Garland to appoint Hur as special counsel to carry out a full investigation of President Biden’s actions. Biden Had Second Batch of Classified Docs at Another Location: Report; Liberal Media Dismisses Biden Classified Documents Discovery

By NBC News. Aides to President Joe Biden have discovered at least one additional batch of classified documents in a location separate from the Washington office he used after leaving the Obama administration, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Since November, after the discovery of documents with classified markings in his former office, Biden aides have been searching for any additional classified materials that might be in other locations he used, said the source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to provide details about the ongoing inquiry.

The White House did not return a request for comment. The Justice Department had no comment.

The latest discovery comes just days after the first set of sensitive files were found at a D.C. office for his think tank and as the Biden administration dodged questions on whether they were tracking down any other records. . .

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was hounded by reporters during her Thursday briefing shortly before the article was published – and insisted that Biden takes classified documents and their retention ‘seriously’.

On Wednesday, Jean-Pierre was asked by reporters whether Biden had looked into whether he might have possibly taken other documents to any other office he has or his homes in Wilmington and Rehoboth, Delaware.

She refused to provide an answer. ‘I’m just not going to speak to this. I’m going to let the process continue. It’s an ongoing process. And so, I’m just not going to, to speak to this from here. These same personalities immediately tore into Donald Trump after it was revealed that he took classified materials from the White House to his residence at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. . .

‘We all know that Trump is a liar and a thief. We know that. So, it’s not that big a jump to say that he obstructed, and he lied,’ The View co-host Joy Behar said during Tuesday’s show.

She urged people, however, not to jump to those same conclusions with Biden, a Democrat.

‘We don’t think Biden is a liar and a thief, so we give him the benefit of the doubt,’ she said. Disturbed Doctor Who Euthanized 400 People Brags She Helped Kill Man Deemed Unfit for Assisted Suicide

A doctor who has reportedly euthanized more than 400 people proudly claims she helped end the life of a man originally considered unfit for assisted suicide.

Ellen Wiebe, who works with Dying With Dignity Canada, reportedly bragged at a seminar for physicians involved in assisted suicide about how she treated a patient who was ineligible for the macabre service. The unnamed man had previously been rejected by a Medical Assistance In Dying (MAID) assessor because he did not have a serious illness or “the capacity to make informed decisions about his own personal health” However, the man eventually found Wiebe, who reportedly cleared him and euthanized him in Vancouver.

“It’s the most rewarding work we’ve ever done,” Wiebe said during a 2020 MAID event in a video that has since made waves online, The New Atlantic reported. Meanwhile, Stefanie Green, an obstetrician and colleague of Wiebe, also admitted that she’d helped 300 people die in the controversial program. She reportedly used the term “deliveries” to describe both helping women give birth and helping people end their lives.

According to records, only 486 people died from California’s assisted suicide program in 2021, but 10,064 died from MAID. The program has reportedly become so popular that there are both anti-suicide and pro-suicide hotlines in Canada for people who want to kill themselves. MAID has come under further scrutiny for claims that people are now seeking assisted suicide because of poverty and homelessness or mental anguish – rather than terminally ill people seeking a painless death. Such cases were reportedly highlighted in a 2021 presentation by Althea Gibb-Carsley, a recently retired care coordinator and social worker for Vancouver Coastal Health’s assisted suicide program, MAID. She described a 55-year-old patient named Mary who suffered from chronic pain and was unable to relieve the pain because of her low income. “She does not want to die, but she’s suffering terribly and she’s been maxing out her credit cards. She has no other options,” the presentation said.

Gibb-Carsley also cited a similar situation with 68-year-old Nancy, a former doctor who ran out of savings, and with 57-year-old Greg, a writer who suffers from trauma and lacks funds for housing. Another case highlighted was that of a 38-year-old trans woman named Lucy who suffered from chronic pain and felt trapped in her studio apartment where there was “no air or light and creepy men all around.” It is unclear, however, whether any of the above cases were ever approved for assisted suicide. Joe Manchin Bucks AOC, Says He Won’t Give Up His Gas Stove

Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) drew a line in the sand on Tuesday, breaking with some in his party and saying that he was not prepared to give up the gas stove that he and his family cooked on — and he didn’t expect other Americans to give theirs up easily either.

Manchin was responding to reports that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission was considering a ban on gas stoves — mainly due to health concerns — and suggested that moving ahead with such a ban would be a terrible idea.

“This is a recipe for disaster. The federal government has no business telling American families how to cook their dinner. I can tell you the last thing that would ever leave my house is the gas stove that we cook on,” Manchin tweeted.

It Looks Like There’s More Fallout for Adam Schiff Following Last Week’s Twitter Files Reveal

Last Tuesday, not just one, but two, batches of the Twitter Files were released. In the second one, “Twitter and the FBI ‘Belly Button,'” which has to do with a COVID cover-up, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is referenced further down in the thread based on claims that he asked Twitter to suspend Paul Sperry, of RealClearInvestigations and the New York Post. Though the social media platform initially refused, it did ultimately suspend Sperry.

More has continued to come out in the days since, as Sperry, who is back on Twitter, has spoken out about what was revealed. . .

The Fox News article, by Kristine Parks, explains how Sperry spoke to Brian Kilmeade about Schiff and the first impeachment trial against then-President Donald Trump. When it comes to that lawsuit, Sperry says “we are exploring legal options, including defamation.”

“So, Schiff didn’t like the fact I outed his anonymous whistleblower as a partisan Democrat — he’s a holdover from the Obama White House working in the Trump White House. Here’s What Secretary Austin Said When He Officially Rescinded the DoD’s Vaccine Mandate

The Department of Defense officially rescinded its COVID-19 vaccine mandate for service members on Tuesday as announced in a memo from Secretary Lloyd Austin.

Saying he is “deeply proud of the Department’s work to combat the coronavirus disease,” Secretary Austin claimed his leadership on COVID response “improved the health of our Service members and the readiness of the Force.” How’s that for some selective memory?

Austin remained in support of the vaccine mandate even as it was legislated away in the most recent NDAA. And, as then-GOP Leader (now Speaker) McCarthy noted at the time, the Army and Navy “missed their 2022 recruitment goals by thousands of service members” while “the Defense Department discharged 3,300 Marines, 1,800 soldiers, 1,800 sailors, and 900 airmen simply based on their personal decision to not take the COVID vaccine.”

That doesn’t sound like an improvement to the “readiness of the force” as Austin claimed in his memo that rescinded an August 2021 memo mandating members of the Armed Forces be vaccinated against COVID-19 as well as the November 2021 memo pertaining to the vaccination of National Guard and Reserve personnel.

9-Year-Old Makes Incredible Christmas Discovery on Beach

A nine-year-old girl found a massive megalodon shark tooth on a beach in Maryland, on Christmas Day.

Molly Sampson visited Calvert Beach in Maryland with her family on Dec. 25, informing her mother that she was “looking for a meg,” according to the BBC. Megalodons grew to a length of around 50 feet and have been [supposedly] extinct for some 2.6 million years, Science Daily reported.

Sampson reportedly waded out into the freezing cold waters until she was knee-deep and found exactly what she was looking for.

Air Force Football Player Dies at Age 21 After ‘Medical Emergency’

Air Force Academy football player Hunter Brown, 21, died after suffering a medical emergency on campus.

The academy announced Brown was leaving his dorm and heading to class when he collapsed Monday. First responders were unsuccessful in their life-saving attempts.

“Hunter was a standout offensive lineman on the Falcon football team and was well-respected in his squadron,” said Lt. Gen. Richard Clark, U.S. Air Force Academy superintendent. “The entire U.S. Air Force Academy mourns his loss, and our hearts and condolences are with his family, his squadron, and all who were touched by this incredible young man.”
