Russell Brand Vehemently Denies Sexual Assault Allegations in Viral Video Statement

Actor and podcast host Russell Brand on Saturday posted a video online denying allegations of sexual assault, which were reported hours later by The Sunday Times, and accusing the outlet of engaging in a “coordinated attack” to defame him.

The Sunday Times report said four women, whose names have not been disclosed, have accused Brand of sexual misconduct from 2006 to 2013, which was the height of Brand’s mainstream fame. One woman claims Brand raped her, while another alleged victim, who is now 31, says Brand sexually assaulted her when she was 16 years old (the age of consent in the UK).

“Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute,” Brand said on video platform Rumble.

“These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies. And as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous,” he continued. “Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual.” . . .

“There are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct, apparently, in what seems to me to be a coordinated attack,” Brand countered. “I feel like I’m being attacked, and obviously they are working very closely together.” (Read more from “Russell Brand Vehemently Denies Sexual Assault Allegations in Viral Video Statement” HERE)

Trump Vows to Review Cases of Biden’s ‘Political Prisoners’ Who Were Targeted for Their Pro-Life Beliefs (VIDEO)

President Joe Biden’s hate of conservatives is stronger than ever, causing former President Trump to promise Republicans he will fight tooth and nail for them.

Over the weekend, Trump announced that if elected in 2024, he will create a special task force specifically designed to review cases of Biden’s “political prisoners.”

During the Family Research Council’s “Pray, Vote, Stand Summit” in Washington, D.C., Trump vowed to get innocent Americans out of jail for standing up for their beliefs while criminals run rampant.

“I am announcing that the moment I win the election, I will appoint a special task force to rapidly review the cases of every political prisoner who has been unjustly persecuted by the Biden administration,” Trump said.

Milley Says He Never Received ‘Illegal’ Order From Trump After 2020 Election

Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said he did not receive any “illegal” orders after the 2020 election.

Martha Raddatz, anchor of ABC’s “This Week,” noted that reports “abounded” saying that Milley worried former President Donald Trump might try to use the military to stay in power.

“Were you concerned at any time that you might receive an illegal order after Election Day?” she asked the general in an interview that aired on Sunday.

“I never did receive an illegal order,” Milley responded. Pressed again if he was at least concerned about it, the top military official added, “No, you know, I argued the case at various times for alternative courses of action. Never received an illegal order.” (Read more from “Milley Says He Never Received ‘Illegal’ Order From Trump After 2020 Election” HERE)

Trump: ‘It Was My Decision’ to Buy Into Idea That 2020 Election Was Rigged — ‘Didn’t Respect’ Aides Who Told Him He Lost

Donald Trump on Sunday said it was “my decision” to believe that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” — saying he didn’t respect the aides and lawyers who’d told him he’d lost.

The former president, 77, was asked by NBC’s Kristen Welker on “Meet the Press” why he opted to ignore his “most senior lawyers” and campaign staffers about the election results.

“Because I didn’t respect them,” Trump replied.

Welker later asked the Republican frontrunner in the presidential primary whether he was “calling the shots … ultimately?”

“As to whether or not I believed it was rigged? Oh, sure,” Trump answered. “It was my decision. But I listened to some people.” (Read more from “Trump: ‘It Was My Decision’ to Buy Into Idea That 2020 Election Was Rigged — ‘Didn’t Respect’ Aides Who Told Him He Lost” HERE)

The Taliban Has Detained an American, and 18 Others, for Promoting ‘Christianity’

An American has been captured and taken hostage by the Taliban after the group raided the offices of a Swiss nonprofit group based in Afghanistan for allegedly promoting Christianity.

On Friday, the International Assistance Mission (IAM) confirmed that the Taliban had detained the American worker and 18 others after the radical group stormed its offices in Ghor, just 400 miles outside of Kabul.

Since the Taliban seized control of the country two years ago, NGOs have become a more significant threat. The group introduced harsh measures, banning Afghan women from education after the sixth grade and from public life and work— including working for NGOs.

Three members, including the American, were taken in the first raid, and the 15 others were taken ten days later. However, they are being held in an unknown location in Kabul— the site of President Joe Biden’s 2021 botched Afghanistan withdrawal. My Pediatrician Discharged My Kids Because I Objected to Gender Ideology

I didn’t know that asking for an exam room free from sexualization and gender ideology would cause my pediatrician to discharge my kids from her care.

My now-former pediatrician installed on the wall of every exam room a “Safe Zone” rainbow triangle sticker with the words “sexual orientation,” “gender expression,” and “gender identity.” Meticulously placed in front of the exam table and at a child’s eye level, it was the first thing my daughter noticed on the otherwise blank walls. She asked me to read the words and tell her what they meant. She was five years old and just learning to read.

I told the doctor this was inappropriate sexual content on the wall and there will be no talk of this sticker with my daughter, but when my daughter asked about the sticker again, the doctor told her, “it’s about being inclusive.” This confused my daughter even more.

After a tense disagreement (in another room) about the politics of the sticker, my doctor agreed that it was reasonable to place younger children in exam rooms without the sticker. But she never placed my children in another room or returned my follow-up calls. Instead, a doctor called me and “invited” me to leave the medical practice. It is illegal to discharge a patient without thirty days’ notice in Rhode Island.

When I demanded he explain the sexually inappropriate content in the exam rooms of pediatricians who claim to teach children about consent and inappropriate sexual contact with adults, he became belligerent. He yelled at me over the phone, “Come on, Nicole! You can be a better parent! Your child deserves an explanation about sex!” I had never met nor talked to this doctor before this phone call. WATCH: McCarthy Praised for Grilling Reporter Until She Admitted There Is Evidence Biden Is in the Wrong

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) was met with a round of applause after he grilled a reporter to the point she had no choice but to admit the GOP has evidence President Joe Biden was involved in his son’s shady business dealings.

The Republican pushed back on the Associated Press report Farnoush Amiri after she claimed McCarthy’s impeachment effort against the president has no evidence to back it.

“You know, an impeachment inquiry is not an impeachment,” McCarthy responded, adding, “What an impeachment inquiry is to do is to get answers to questions. Are you concerned about all the stuff that was recently learned?”

McCarthy then listed several instances that could be characterized as possible evidence of wrongdoing by Biden.

Former Clerk Ordered to Pay $100,000 for Denying Gay Partners a Marriage License

Kim Davis, the former county clerk in Kentucky who gained national attention eight years ago when she refused to grant marriage licenses to gay partners, has now been ordered by a federal jury to pay one gay couple a total of $100,000.

Back in 2015, five justices on the U.S. Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage in all 50 states via the notorious Obergefell v. Hodges case. Shortly thereafter, Davis, then the clerk of Rowan County in eastern Kentucky, became a media lightning rod when she refused to sign marriage licenses for gay couples, citing her religious belief that marriage is between one man and one woman.

After hearing about Davis’ intransigence, same-sex partners David Ermold and David Moore arrived at her office “with news cameras in tow,” the New York Post reported, demanding a marriage license. She denied a marriage license to Ermold and Moore as well as to same-sex partners James Yates and Will Smith.

That same year, District Judge David Bunning ruled that Davis was in contempt of court and sent her to jail. She was released five days later after members of her staff authorized the same-sex marriage licenses without Davis’ signature.

Those two gay couples eventually sued Davis, who lost her re-election campaign for county clerk in 2018, and Judge Bunning ultimately ruled last year that, in denying a man a license to wed another man legally, Davis had violated the men’s constitutional rights. ‘Not Allowed to Comment?’: Trump Responds to Jack Smith’s Gag Order Request

Former President Donald Trump slammed special counsel Jack Smith Friday for trying to secure a gag order in a post on Truth Social.

Smith requested a “narrowly-tailored” order, claiming that Trump’s comments on social media and elsewhere about the case “are intended to undermine public confidence in an institution — the judicial system — and to undermine confidence in and intimidate individuals –the Court, the jury pool, witnesses, and prosecutors,” according to ABC News. Trump pleaded not guilty to all charges during his Aug. 3 arraignment after Smith secured a four-count indictment of Trump relating to his efforts to contest the results of the 2020 election.

“Biden Prosecutor, Deranged Jack Smith, has asked the Court to limit 45th President, and leading Republican Nominee (by more than 50 points, & beating Dems!) DONALD J. TRUMP’S, PUBLIC STATEMENTS,” Trump posted on Truth Social. (Read more from “‘Not Allowed to Comment?’: Trump Responds to Jack Smith’s Gag Order Request” HERE)

Panic Button? More Brutal Polling for Democrats

Democrats can feel the heartburn rising in their throats. It’s beginning to dawn on them that Joe Biden could well lose next year’s election, even if he’s pitted against his preferred opponent in Donald Trump. Faced with the prospects of (a) an unpopular incumbent who seems intent to run again, (b) a closing window with just a few months to go until the nominating process begins, and (c) no clear alternative with any sort of national campaign infrastructure, they may have no choice but to shove all of their eggs into the Biden basket and hope for the best. Yes, Trump would arrive in a general election weighed down by tons of exploitable baggage, so they’re hoping that would be enough to clinch another win. But it may not. It’s not hard to see why the lefty chattering class and media are growing increasingly anxious — and it’s not just because Trump has edged out in front of Biden in the Real Clear Politics average. Some of the specific findings in a handful of recent polls are just brutal for Biden and his party. For example:

Only 34% of Americans said they approve of Biden’s handling of the economy, compared with 59% who disapprove, according to the poll…Seventy-six percent of independents and even 34% of Democrats said the economy is getting worse. Eighty-four percent of Americans say their cost of living is rising, and food and groceries is the top concern. The results come as Biden has touted “Bidenomics” to frame his economic vision ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

. . .

Overall prices are up 17 percent, and are still rising. Most people — quite rightly — believe Biden’s policies have made conditions worse. The White House wasn’t getting any credit for the rising prices going up more slowly (but still in the wrong direction), even though they tried to gin up enthusiasm for that talking point. They will likely shoulder significant blame in the public’s view when the rise in prices comes in hotter than expected.
