Biden Trashes Trump and Brags About Election Night Success
President Joe Biden took a victory lap about Democratic victories across the country on Tuesday and took some jabs at former President Donald Trump during a campaign fundraiser on Thursday.
Biden pointed out election wins in Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania to supporters in Chicago, per ABC News. He particularly claimed that Gov. Andy Beshear (D-KY) won reelection by running on programs championed by his administration.
“In Kentucky, a Democratic governor was reelected … running on programs that were all Biden initiatives to the White House,” Biden said.
The president also took several swipes at the front-runner in the Republican presidential primary, whom he bested in 2020. He said people are “winning elections” by running on his agenda.
“People are voting on it, and people are winning elections on it over and over and over,” Biden said. “The press and pundits keep being surprised. They can be surprised as much as they want, but since I came off the sidelines to go toe to toe with Donald Trump, we haven’t stopped winning.” (Read more from “Biden Trashes Trump and Brags About Election Night Success” HERE)
