Video Catches Metro PD Officer With Capitol Police: ‘We Go Undercover as Antifa in a Crowd’

A report from Just the News has obtained footage of an undercover officer from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) operating behind police lines on the U.S. Capitol grounds during the events of January 6. The unaltered footage, acquired directly from official sources, captures the officer, dressed in plainclothes with a grey jacket, providing water to fellow officers affected by tear gas deployed by Capitol Police against pro-Trump protestors.

In a significant revelation, the undercover officer can be heard on the video telling his colleague, while assisting, that they “go undercover as Antifa in a crowd.” The footage, recently turned over to Congress for investigation, raises questions about the officer’s role and whether he was referencing the events of January 6 or any prior experiences with Antifa protests, such as those during the Summer 2020 BLM riots.

While the video does not provide clarity on the context of the officer’s statement, it is anticipated to be a focal point in the House GOP probe into the broader police response on January 6. Congressional investigators reportedly believe that the officer in plainclothes belongs to the MPD’s Electronic Surveillance Unit (ESU), although the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department has not responded to requests for comment.

Elon Musk Sparks Controversy by Addressing ‘Pizzagate’ Conspiracy on X

Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk stirred controversy on X, formerly Twitter, by engaging with a user’s post connecting the founder of Media Matters with the “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory. Musk, with a massive following of 160 million, responded with a simple “Weird,” drawing attention to the ongoing lawsuit between X and Media Matters. The lawsuit was initiated after a Media Matters report identified major brands’ ads running alongside pro-Nazi content on X, potentially leading to an exodus of advertisers from the platform.

“Pizzagate” originated during the 2016 US presidential election and falsely alleged a pedophilia ring involving prominent Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, operating out of a Washington, DC pizza shop, specifically Comet Ping Pong.

Musk’s response on X adds a new layer to the ongoing clash between X and Media Matters. The controversy surrounding “Pizzagate” and Musk’s engagement prompted a statement from Media Matters president Angelo Carusone, who accused Musk of making “meritless legal threats” and promoting “bizarre conspiracy theories.”

Argentina’s New Libertarian President Won Because the Ballots Were Hand-Counted. Why Can’t America Do the Same?

It’s quite astonishing that the United States of America, one of the most powerful nations in the world, struggles to hold streamlined elections. We’ve gone from having election results on the same night or in the early hours to prolonged counts of sketchy ballots behind closed doors, with the winner remaining unknown for days on end. And these types of rinky-dink elections with long “third world” delays are being normalized, but it’s far from normal, and we all know it. This unacceptable stark contrast was glaringly obvious during the recent presidential election in Argentina, where they efficiently tallied 25 to 30 million paper ballots within hours. Meanwhile, certain blue districts in the United States, using machine ballots, take days to count a fraction of that number. How does one reconcile this?

The voting process in Argentina was streamlined and efficient.

Politico:

Voting stations opened at 8 a.m. (1100 GMT) and close 10 hours later. Voting is conducted with paper ballots, making the count unpredictable, but initial results were expected around three hours after polls close.

Milei went from blasting the country’s “political caste” on TV to winning a lawmaker seat two years ago. The economist’s screeds resonated widely with Argentines angered by their struggle to make ends meet, particularly young men.

“Money covers less and less each day. I’m a qualified individual, and my salary isn’t enough for anything,” Esteban Medina, a 26-year-old physical therapist from Ezeiza, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, told The Associated Press on the sidelines of a Milei rally earlier this week.

Former Democrat Mayor Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison for Child Pornography Charges

The former Democratic mayor of College Park, Maryland, Patrick Wojahn, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison following a guilty plea on over 100 counts related to the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The 47-year-old, once a regular White House guest and mentee of Pete Buttigieg, faced 56 child pornography possession and distribution charges when initially arrested in March, as reported by Breitbart News.

The case began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted the Prince George’s County Police Department about a social media account distributing suspected child pornography within the county. The investigation traced the account, with the screen name “skippy_md,” back to Wojahn. The former mayor allegedly used a virtual private network (VPN) to conceal his location while accessing the account.

Wojahn, who resigned from his mayoral position on March 2 amid the allegations, pleaded guilty in August to more than 100 counts related to child sexual abuse material possession and distribution. The plea deal, concluded by the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy’s office, includes a 30-year prison sentence for Wojahn.

The disgraced ex-mayor, serving his second term after winning the 2015 election, had previously spent eight years as a city councilman. A Wisconsin native and Georgetown University Law Center graduate, Wojahn’s legal advocacy and government relations background have added a shocking chapter to his once-prominent political career.

Air Force Base Issues ‘Caution’ to Personnel Over Pro-Trump Rally

Leadership at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota sent a cautionary text message to service members, advising them to exercise caution near a downtown rally featuring a speaker from a pro-Trump organization. The message, shared on the “Air Force amen/nco/snco” Facebook page, specifically warned about the “Dakota Patriot Rally” at the state fairgrounds on Nov. 17, expressing concerns that rally-goers, particularly from the organization Turning Point Action, might be confrontational towards military members.

The text, obtained by Fox News, highlighted Turning Point Action’s ties to conservative values and former President Donald Trump. The organization, founded in 2019, gained attention for its stances on the 2020 presidential election and dangerous COVID-19 vaccines. Turning Point Action has become a significant player in conservative political circles, drawing thousands to its events, including prominent Republican figures.

The message explicitly mentioned Turning Point Action’s Chief Operating Officer, Tyler Bowyer, as a speaker at the Dakota Patriot Rally. Bowyer, described as a “conservative activist,” has a political background and is associated with Turning Point USA. Notably, the text cautioned that military members’ participation in events with groups like Turning Point Action could “jeopardize” their continued service in the U.S. military.

Minot Air Force Base and the Air Force have not responded to Fox News’s request for comment. Additionally, Fox News Digital reached out to the detective investigating the shooting, but as of publication, there has been no response.

Senator Challenges Legality of Secretive White House Phone Surveillance Program

A recently revealed surveillance program, known as Data Analytical Services (DAS), is under scrutiny as US Senator Ron Wyden questions its legality in a letter addressed to the Department of Justice (DOJ). According to information obtained by WIRED, the DAS program, formerly known as Hemisphere, has been operational for over a decade, allowing law enforcement agencies at federal, state, and local levels to analyze more than a trillion domestic phone records annually.

Operated in collaboration with telecom giant AT&T, the DAS program employs chain analysis, targeting not only individuals in direct contact with criminal suspects but also anyone connected to these individuals. AT&T, utilizing its extensive infrastructure across the United States, captures and analyzes call records for various law enforcement agencies, with the White House reportedly allocating over $6 million to support the program.

Senator Wyden, expressing “serious concerns about the legality” of DAS, highlights troubling information received from the DOJ, deemed “sensitive but unclassified.” This information, while posing no national security risk, is restricted from public disclosure. In a letter to US Attorney General Merrick Garland, Wyden emphasizes the potential outrage such revelations might generate among Americans and Congress members.

AT&T spokesperson Kim Hart Jonson declined to comment on the DAS program, stating the company’s obligation to comply with lawful subpoenas. Notably, there is no legal requirement for AT&T to retain decades’ worth of Americans’ call records for law enforcement purposes. Documents reveal AT&T’s participation in law enforcement conferences to train officials on utilizing the company’s voluntary assistance.

A review of law enforcement data, previously leaked by the transparency collective Distributed Denial of Secrets, exposes extensive monitoring practices. While DAS is nominally focused on drug trafficking, documents reveal requests for data unrelated to drugs, including unsolved cases. Examples include officers seeking a “Hemisphere analysis” to identify a suspect’s phone number by analyzing calls from close friends and requests to identify victims and material witnesses in unrelated cases.

Medical Malpractice Lawsuit Alleges Unapproved Gender-Altering Surgeries: Female Patient Claims Lack of Informed Consent

In a startling legal development, a 23-year-old woman, who underwent a hysterectomy and double mastectomy at UW Hospital for gender-altering procedures, has filed a lawsuit against the hospital and two surgeons. The plaintiff, residing in Chicago, had a self-diagnosis of gender dysphoria, which she claims was not verified by a doctor before the surgeries were performed. The lawsuit, filed in Dane County Circuit Court, alleges that Dr. Jay Lick and Dr. Katherine Gast operated without obtaining proper informed consent.

The patient, initially identifying as a lesbian, explored a nonbinary identity to address psychological distress from childhood trauma. However, post-surgery therapy revealed that the distress was not linked to physical features but to past trauma. Consequently, she decided to detransition, ceasing testosterone therapy. The lawsuit, filed confidentially, reveals the patient’s regret as a Jewish woman, mourning her inability to naturally conceive, a significant aspect of her cultural expectations.

UW Health, the hospital in question, has not commented on the case’s specifics or the informed consent procedures for gender-altering surgeries. This legal action unfolds against the backdrop of a nationwide debate on transgender healthcare. Several states have enacted laws restricting gender-altering procedures for minors, and Wisconsin’s Legislature recently passed a bill seeking to do the same.

Biden’s Pentagon Seeks $270 Million for Diversity Initiatives, Sparks Controversy

The Department of Defense (DOD) is set to allocate nearly $270 million in taxpayer funds from fiscal years 2022 to 2024 to advance its diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) agenda, reflecting a significant increase in spending on these initiatives. The DOD’s commitment to DEIA has grown from $68 million in fiscal year 2022 to $114.7 million in the initial request for fiscal year 2024, raising questions and concerns about the prioritization of such programs. Critics argue that the department’s focus on DEIA may divert attention from its primary mission and impact national security.

Biden’s Pentagon has consistently advocated for the integration of DEIA principles across all DOD efforts, emphasizing their impact on both the department’s workforce and its mission. The Strategic Management Plan for fiscal years 2022 to 2026 underscores the goal to institutionalize the advancement of DEIA and the value of diversity within the department.

The allocated funds in fiscal year 2022 were designated for the Department of the Air Force, specifically aimed at enhancing training programs, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. This included unconscious bias diversity training and increased aviation scholarships for underrepresented universities’ Reserve Officers’ Training Corps cadets. In 2023, $86.5 million was channeled into dedicated diversity and inclusion activities, supporting various programs to further DEIA values and objectives.

However, the specifics of the proposed $114.7 million for fiscal year 2024 remain unclear, with more information expected in the upcoming “DEIA 2023 – 2027 Strategic Plan.” Critics argue that the vague nature of funding requests raises concerns about transparency and accountability regarding the actual implementation of DEIA activities within the DOD.

The controversy surrounding the DOD’s approach to DEIA extends beyond funding, as visible manifestations of Critical Race Theory (CRT) and the diversity agenda draw criticism. The leaked diversity, equity, and inclusion document from the National Security Agency (NSA), part of the DOD, highlights the promotion of CRT and transgender ideology within the agency.

Republican Representative Mike Waltz expressed concern over the perceived shift in the military’s focus, emphasizing the potential impact on the military’s effectiveness and how it is perceived by adversaries. The creation of the Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and appointments like General (Ret.) Lester Lyles as its chair indicate the DOD’s commitment to improving racial/ethnic diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity within the military.

The controversy surrounding the DOD’s adoption of woke ideology, including CRT, extends to educational institutions like West Point, where cadets are reportedly taught CRT concepts. Additionally, high-profile figures within the DOD, such as General Mark Milley and Bishop Garrison, have defended CRT and led efforts to counter extremism within the military.

‘Preying on Their Innocence’: Male Nanny Sentenced to Over 700 Years in Prison for Sexually Abusing 16 Boys

A male nanny based in California was sentenced to over 700 years in prison after being found guilty of sexually assaulting 16 boys in his care, and exposing another child to pornography, authorities said in a press release.

Matthew Antonio Zakrzewski, 34, was convicted of 34 felonies on Nov. 17, and was sentenced to 705 years to life in prison, plus two years and eight months for molesting 16 young boys between the ages of two and 12 years old, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office press release. Zakrzewski, additionally showed a 17th boy “child pornography with the intent to also sexually assault him.” He also filmed many of the sexual assaults, the DA’s Office said.

“This is a case of shattered innocence and precious childhoods that were robbed from 17 little boys. These children will never know the people they were truly intended to be – because their childhoods were suddenly and inexplicably interrupted not by a wolf at the door, but by a predator masquerading as godsend,” Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer stated.

“These innocent little boys must bear a lifetime of trauma, and their parents will bear a lifetime of pain knowing that they put their precious children in the arms of an animal because they believed who he said he was. But that was a lie. He had no interest in protecting these children; his only interest was in preying on their innocence and filming the assaults for his sick sexual gratification,” Spitzer added.

Zakrzewski was arrested in May 2019 by the Laguna Beach Police Department and was originally charged with three felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14, one felony count of oral copulation of a child under 10, and one felony count of possession of child pornography, according the DA’s press release. High School Nixes ‘USA Day’ to ‘Avoid Politics’

A Massachusetts high school has sparked controversy by canceling its annual “USA Day” as part of spirit week festivities, in efforts to “avoid politics.” Wellesley High School principal Jamie Chisum explained in a letter to the school community that the decision was made to avoid a topic that had become politically charged, replacing “USA Day” with “Fitness Friday.”

The cancellation, which reportedly was not open for debate, drew attention when Student Unification Program member Olivia Spagnuolo shared insights into the decision. Spagnuolo’s group, responsible for suggesting daily themes, highlighted that the patriotic theme had been vetoed in previous years. The school’s spirit week traditionally builds excitement leading up to the annual Thanksgiving football game, featuring various daily themes such as “Throwback Thursday” and “Wild West Wednesday.”

The principal’s letter acknowledged the unintended impact of the decision, stating, “We acknowledge that the impact for some people has been just the opposite of our intention and that we have inadvertently politicized this activity. I am definitely sorry for any negative effect this has had on kids and families.” Local parents and community members expressed disappointment, with one parent deeming the decision “absurd”
