Universities Across The Country Still Grant Hundreds Of DEI Scholarships

Institutions of higher education across the country are still offering hundreds of scholarships tied to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) ideology, despite the fact that the federal government has made it clear that race and gender preferences will no longer be tolerated.

A new report from Defending Education (DE), reviewed by The Federalist, shows numerous scholarships aimed at giving “queer identifying” students or those who “identify as POC [People of Color]” special treatment because of their race or incoherent claim about sexual identity.

“It’s hard to believe that so many colleges and universities decided that being on the right side of history meant discriminating based on race and sex when awarding scholarships to students,” Erika Sanzi, DE director of outreach, told The Federalist. “It’s even harder to believe that their lawyers let them do it since it is such an egregious violation of federal law.”

The report serves both as an archive of past DEI-related scholarships and those currently available, and it identifies 596 scholarships from 123 colleges or universities across 48 states.

As the Trump administration has been trying to get schools to stop their programs that are violative of civil rights, some institutions have attempted to hide, rebrand, or clandestinely continue their operation, while others have brazenly maintained theirs in the open to challenge the crackdown. Judge Rules Death Penalty to Remain as Possible Punishment Amid Bryan Kohberger Autism Diagnosis

A judge ruled on Thursday that prosecutors could seek the death penalty against Bryan Kohberger if he is found guilty of the 2022 slaying of four University of Idaho students.

Republican Proposal Could Help Families Receive Thousands of Dollars

Some Republican lawmakers are seeking an increase in the child tax credit while scrapping other controversial tax benefits.

The “Family First Act,” sponsored by Sen. Jim Banks, R-Ind., and Rep. Blake Moore, R-Utah, would raise the credit to $4,200 for children under 6 years old and $3,000 for older children. Families can claim the credit for up to six children and would be “fully refundable.”

Notably, the legislation would add a $2,800 credit for pregnant women starting at 20 weeks. The credit amounts are expected to rise with inflation over time.

However, the bill would also scrap the “head of household” filing status and end the “additional exemption for dependents” and the State and Local Income Tax Deduction, which is often used by those in high-tax states.

Filers can deduct up to $10,000 from state and local taxes based on the 2017 federal law. Some Republican and Democratic lawmakers in high-tax states support the SALT deduction, whereas other lawmakers oppose it. Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg had an awkward slip of the tongue. It was that or he tried to be fast and loose with Andrew Schulz and company when discussing his family, claiming that adopting black kids comes at a discount. He quickly clarified before saying there was no deposit. The former mayor and 2020 presidential candidate, along with his husband, have adopted fraternal twins, which is how this topic came up, along with a lecture about race in America.

I’m adopted, and I have two white parents—this ‘how do I raise my kids that are racially different than me’ bulls**t never came up. And when you focus on that, which is what all Democrats do because they’re race-obsessed, you end up being cringy, getting offended about everything, and flat-out saying some pretty offensive stuff, like ‘them black kiddos come at a discount because America—bad, or something.’

According to Fox’s exclusive report, the FBI has uncovered a plot that includes Venezuelan officials helping gang members sneak into the US—and not just to commit random crimes, but to carry out Maduro’s sinister agenda. According to the report, these gangbangers are being used like pawns in a proxy war and were sent here to intimidate and possibly kill critics of the regime right here on US soil.

And what did the Biden regime do about it while they were in power? Nothing. Or maybe worse than nothing. They opened the floodgates at the southern border and rolled out the red carpet for these violent thugs. No vetting, no questions—just a welcome mat and a pat on the back as these gangbangers illegally flooded in.

Whether they were complicit or just blindly obsessed with social justice, the result is the same: Biden and the Dems helped Maduro destabilize the United States—and now President Trump is left to clean up the mess.

Here’s the Perfect Solution for Sending Joe Biden’s Hordes of Illegal Voters Back Home

Democrats accuse President Donald Trump of being no better than Augusto Pinochet, the Chilean dictator, who in the 1970s is believed to have “disappeared” hundreds of his political opponents. Like Pinochet, they contend, Trump “disappeared” — or, more accurately, kicked out of the country and sent home — the aliens who came illegally to the United States under Joe Biden’s Cloward and Piven open borders free-for-all. Trump has even told them to self-deport.

Telling people to go home is the 2025 version of “disappearing” people, according to Democrats.

Democrats and their go-to judges now resist Trump by demanding that illegal aliens receive special legal hearings before he can kick them out of the country. If he fails to do their political bidding, they threaten to impeach him again if they capture the House in 2026.

Happily, there’s a middle path both sides can agree on. Since Democrats said not a peep about the unvetted hordes of humanity streaming over our Southern border for four years, said nothing about the stacks of passports from unfriendly countries left on Mexican soil, allowed unchecked fake “families” to traffic children into sex slavery, and then gave these hordes court dates years into the future that would be attended by no one, then an obvious and acceptable compromise is before us.

Trump Says Zelensky Is the Stumbling Block to Peace in Ukraine, Will Meet With Putin Soon

Volodymyr Zelensky surprised the U.S. President by being the more difficult of the two principals to negotiate with in the Ukraine War talks, Donald Trump said, expressing hope for talks for the sake of the “humanity” of those being killed.

U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his hope there is still a deal to be achieved to bring peace to the Ukraine War in Oval Office remarks that follow days of comments from key players that clearly suggest talks are on the brink of collapse. While Russia and Ukraine daily accuse each other of undermining the process, and overnight Russia has launched a major assault on Kyiv with at least eight dead in the air-raid, President Trump named Ukraine’s Zelensky for dragging his heels on peace.

On Tuesday, President Zelensky dismissed a compromise peace where Russia would be able to keep Crimea in return for handing back several Ukrainian provinces and ending the fighting, stating he was sticking to his maximalist absolute victory policy. Zelensky said, as reported: “There is nothing to talk about – it is our land, the land of the Ukrainian people”.

President Trump had already responded to these words in a social media post, reminding the Ukrainian that “Crimea was lost years ago” during the Obama era and that his remarks were “very harmful to the peace negotiations”. Following up in the Oval Office on Wednesday evening as he spoke with reporters while signing executive orders, the U.S. President remarked: “I will say I think that Russia is ready, and a lot of people said Russia wanted to go for the whole thing, I think we have a deal with Russia.

“We have to get a deal with Zelensky. I thought it might be easier to get a deal with Zelensky but so far it has been harder, but that’s OK, it’s alright. U.S. Senator Wonders if 9/11 Was an Inside Job, Calls for Congressional Hearings

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., said this week that he wants to hold congressional hearings on a debunked conspiracy theory about the Sept. 11 attacks, saying that there are “an awful lot of questions” about the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history.

“There’s an awful lot of questions,” Johnson, the chair of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, said Monday in an interview on the conservative activist Benny Johnson’s podcast.

“What actually happened on 9/11? What do we know? What is being covered up?” Johnson said of the 2001 attacks. “My guess is there’s an awful lot being covered up in terms of what the American government knows about 9/11.”

Asked if he planned on holding hearings, Johnson said, “I think so.”

Yale Revokes Student Organization Designation of Anti-Israel Group After ‘Disturbing Anti-Semitic Conduct’ at Protest

Yale College announced on Wednesday that an anti-Israel student group would lose their rights as a registered student organization over “disturbing anti-Semitic” actions at a protest Tuesday evening.

The Yalies4Palestine group had met with college officials and had been warned about violating their conduct rules, but the protest led to officials taking action.

The protest at Beinecke Plaza lasted only about four hours, beginning at 8 p.m., and the Yalies4Palestine denied having any part of it, but a press release from the college cited social media posts taking credit for the demonstration.

“Repost! Share! Join the students!” read one post with video of students erecting tents, while another read, “HAPPENING NOW YALE STUDENTS RELAUNCH ENCAMPMENTS.” Another video showed protesters not allowing Jewish students to access college buildings.

Without official student group registration, the group won’t be able to reserve spaces at Yale, participate in the student activities bazaar, or request Yale funding. Despite Trump Orders, Juvenile Prisons Still Have To House ‘Trans’ Men With Young Girls

President Donald Trump has made it a priority to keep men out of women’s sports, bathrooms, and other sex-specific spaces. But thanks to little-known Obama-era regulations, states could be required to house boys in all-girl youth prisons.

Currently, states are barred from imprisoning juvenile inmates on the basis of sex. That means a 17-year-old boy who claims to be “transgender” could be locked up alongside an 11-year-old girl. States that don’t comply with these mandates risk losing crucial federal funding, making even deep-red states comply with the guidance.

Advocates tell The Daily Wire that Trump’s executive orders protecting women’s spaces may not automatically negate these rules. Unless amended, the federal code will continue to force youth prisons to consider housing transgender-identifying males alongside girls, raising serious concerns about their safety.

Amie Ichikawa, a woman who spent nearly five years in a California prison and now advocates to keep males out of female prisons, told The Daily Wire it was “disturbing” that juvenile facilities are blocked from making housing decisions on the basis of sex. She believes it’s even more dangerous than mixing genders in adult prisons.

“Kids in juvenile are extremely vulnerable, and to add mixed sex housing into it, that’s creating a totally unnecessary hurdle to have to jump over,” she said. “It’s setting them up for failure, and it’s just robbing them of any kind of normalcy or ability to focus on healing.” (Read more from “Despite Trump Orders, Juvenile Prisons Still Have To House ‘Trans’ Men With Young Girls” HERE)
