A Subtle Symptom in Your Fingernail Could be a Sign of Congestive Heart Failure, Cancer, Psoriasis — or an STI

Your nails might be trying to tell you something — and checking them could be the easiest way (hands down) to spot hidden health problems.

Meaning “little moon” in Latin, lunulae are the half-moon shapes at the base of your nails. It’s where new nail cells are made and pushed forward. They’re most prominent on your thumbs and are smaller and less visible as you move out to the pinkies.

Researchers analyzed studies going back to 1954, when the first research was published on a particular kind of unusual lunulae, to find exactly what the mini-moons can tell us about our health.

Lunulae are usually white, because the nail is thicker there, obscuring the blood vessels on the nail bed. That said, not everyone has them, and not having lunulae doesn’t indicate you’re unhealthy.

But when you have lunulae that turn red, it could spell danger. “Red lunulae may reflect both systemic disease activity or local pathology,” the authors wrote. (Read more from “A Subtle Symptom in Your Fingernail Could be a Sign of Congestive Heart Failure, Cancer, Psoriasis — or an STI” HERE)

‘Cornell 7’ Frat Bro Who Said He was ‘Sodomized’ Trashed US, is Son of Dubai-Based Islamic Studies Prof

Matthew Ingalls — the Cornell University Chi Phi fraternity brother who admitted he initiated the now infamous threesome that an unnamed female student claimed in a lawsuit turned into a gang rape — is a US hater who grew up in privilege and whose father teaches Islamic studies in Dubai, The Post has learned.

Ingalls, 21, whose full name is Umar Matthew Ingalls, attended Dubai International Academy, an elite private school that charges about $21,000 a year located in what has been dubbed the “Beverly Hills of Dubai.” The former frat bro grew up between the Middle East and the United States.

The school, in Dubai’s Emirates Hills neighborhood, hailed as the city’s “most exclusive and prestigious gated community” where homes start at $3 million, was listed as Ingalls’ alma mater on Cornell University’s rugby roster for 2023-2024, when he played on the team.

A resurfaced 2020 article said he was embarrassed by his American citizenship while attending the posh school, having to explain to people in the United Arab Emirates that “no, I’m not a Trump supporter.”

“Generally speaking, ‘American’ over here is synonymous with ‘Trump,’ which is synonymous with a whole bunch of other words that I won’t mention,” a high school online magazine quotes Ingalls as saying, describing him as half American. REPORT: Top Huckabee Aide Downplayed Murders Of American Citizens To Make Israel Look Better

A top aide to U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee allegedly suppressed a detailed embassy report into the killings of nine Americans in the West Bank, according to a report Thursday.

David Milstein, the stepson of Fox News host Mark Levin, frequently suppressed or manipulated reports from staffers at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem to downplay Israeli settler attacks in the West Bank and portray Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government in a positive light, The New York Times reported. He also allegedly intervened to suppress a “detailed” report by embassy staffers on the murders of nine U.S. citizens by Israeli settlers and security forces as members of Congress pushed for more information and accountability, according to The New York Times.

After a ninth American, 19-year-old Nasrallah Abu Siyam, was shot dead in the West Bank while trying to prevent settlers from stealing his livestock in February, 30 members of Congress sent a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio demanding updates on investigations into the string of killings. The embassy completed a report by March that found the Israeli investigations had gone nowhere, some cases were closed, and no one had been charged. However, Milstein allegedly pushed to send a letter back in response to Democratic Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen, rather than sending the more detailed report, according to the outlet.

The report also alleges that Milstein has had a chilling effect on embassy staffers, with some staffers expressing concern about his relationship with Levin, a fervent ally of Netanyahu; downplayed the expansion of West Bank settlements, even though President Donald Trump has previously expressed opposition to the Israeli annexation of the West Bank; and dismissed mass casualties amid the delivery of food and aid to Palestinians.

The Daily Caller reached out to the embassy, which referred the Caller to an X post from Huckabee.

Lindsay Clancy-Style Horror Stories Pile Up As Moms Turn On Their Own Children

Numerous stories involving mothers accused of attacking or killing their own children have emerged in the weeks surrounding the Lindsay Clancy trial.

Clancy’s trial made waves, prompting public support for the mother who strangled her three children — ages five, three, and eight months old — using exercise bands. Clancy’s defense argued the killings resulted from her postpartum psychosis, drawing the attention of many women across the country.

While many found the compassion for Clancy shocking, an even more disturbing string of cases involving mothers accused of attacking or killing their children has emerged.

In the days leading up to the verdict in Clancy’s trial, an Illinois woman named Corie Walsh was accused of killing her two-year-old son after law enforcement discovered him hanging in the basement of their home. . .

Tragically, Walsh’s case was not an isolated incident.

A Texas woman is currently facing charges of attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed her husband and her two young children. Holly Leeann Flores was detained after her husband called 911, saying his wife had stabbed him in the head. The couple’s three-year-old daughter and 10-month-old son were also discovered with stab wounds to their chests.

Flores’ husband reportedly told investigators she had been suffering from postpartum depression.

A South Carolina woman, Taylor Gosnell, was similarly charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing her six-year-old and three-year-old children. Law enforcement responded to a welfare check at Gosnell’s home where they found the children with more than 50 stab wounds combined. Anthropic to Users: Be Nice to Claude AI — New Policy Bars ‘Abusive or Cruel Behavior’ to Tech

Anthropic on Thursday updated its usage policy to bar people from “abusive or cruel behavior” behavior toward its Claude AI – even though it’s not, ya know, actually alive.

The strange update came as debate continues to rage about regulating AI, and as oddball corners of Silicon Valley insist the tech has a soul.

“We’ve added a prohibition on sustained and needless abusive or cruel behavior toward our models,” Anthropic says on a webpage about the updated policy.

“The policy update is meant to apply only in extreme cases, where users repeatedly act cruelly toward our models, with no discernible purpose. It does not apply to common versions of user frustration, pushback, dark creative themes, or model testing and research,” the company adds.

Other changes to the user policy include new guidelines against using Claude for election interference, surveillance without the consent of the surveilled, and building weapons. (Read more from “Anthropic to Users: Be Nice to Claude AI — New Policy Bars ‘Abusive or Cruel Behavior’ to Tech” HERE)

Fruits and Vegetables 50% Less Nutritious Than in the 1960s: ‘Hollowing out our Food’

. . .Fruits and vegetables are only half as nutritious as they were 60 years ago, a new study revealed.

US produce harvested today is lacking in crucial nutrients, including vitamin C, calcium and iron due to drastically declining soil quality, researchers at the UK-based Deep Science Ventures found.

Consumers need to eat twice the number of many fruits and veggies just to get the same level of minerals — like copper, magnesium or potassium — as in the 1960s. Bread, cereals, apples, peas and carrots also lost between 20-50% of several key nutrients.

“For sixty years we’ve measured food security in calories … and on those measures we’ve done remarkably well,” wrote Will Summers, one of the authors of the damning report.

“But we’ve been quietly hollowing out what’s inside our food.”

Since the Green Revolution of the 1960s, agricultural systems were able to successfully increase the global food supply and cereal yields. (Read more from “Fruits and Vegetables 50% Less Nutritious Than in the 1960s: ‘Hollowing out our Food’” HERE)

Why Foul-Mouthed Boy, 6, Who Shot Va. Teacher and Yelled ‘F–k You Bitch,’ Didn’t Face Charges

The 6-year-old Virginia boy who shot his teacher in the chest before launching into a vicious, caught-on-camera tirade against another educator – yelling “f–k you, bitch” — did not face any criminal charges related to the twisted attack.

Instead, the boy — only identified by officials as J.T. — was ordered to spend 227 days undergoing inpatient psychiatric confinement for shooting his teacher, Abby Zwerner, in front of 16 students in their first grade class on Jan. 6, 2023, according to court records.

Harrowing police bodycam footage released this week shows the baby-faced gunman swearing a blue streak and threatening cops just moments after he opened fire inside the classroom in Newport News, a small city about 70 miles southwest of Richmond.

“Both y’all want a f–king piece of me, bitch?!” J.T. yells at officers, while a Richneck Elementary School reading specialist, Amy Kovac, is seen restraining him in a bear hug and repeatedly pleading with him to “stop.”

“F–k you, bitch,” the tiny perp responds, according to the video, which also shows cops discovering a 9 mm Taurus handgun nearby on the ground.

“I stole that from my mom,” J.T. says, gesturing to the firearm, which he admittedly stole from his mother’s purse earlier that morning. (Read more from “Why Foul-Mouthed Boy, 6, Who Shot Va. Teacher and Yelled ‘F–k You Bitch,’ Didn’t Face Charges” HERE)

RFK Jr. Launches Research Investigation Into Vaccine Injuries

Following a trip to the National Institutes of Health headquarters on Monday, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced a new federal initiative to investigate vaccine injuries.

Kennedy met with several vaccine-injured patients at the Bethesda, Maryland NIH headquarters to hear their testimonies and address the Department’s intent to prioritize the study of vaccine injuries, including a new research program at the NIH Clinical Center and a new billing code to reimburse doctors for filing reports of serious vaccine side effects, the New York Times reported Wednesday.

“We must listen to patients and families who report vaccine injuries — not dismiss or gaslight them,” the HHS secretary said in a Thursday press release. “President [Donald] Trump and I are building a health system that takes them seriously, follows the evidence, and uses what we learn to make vaccines safer. This is how we earn back trust in our public health institutions.”

The department announced in the release that it would be engaging in an agency-wide action plan to strengthen vaccine injury research, reporting and patient care.

Not only is HHS opening a new vaccine research clinic in the NIH but is implementing electronic health records, improving the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and proposed policies to reimburse physicians for reporting suspected vaccine-related injuries to the through Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Americans Will Be Able To Watch Fort Hood Killer Face Firing Squad on Livestream, Hegseth Says

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth promised Thursday to make the execution of convicted Fort Hood mass shooter Nidal Hasan public, marking America’s first public execution in 90 years.

The Pentagon confirmed later that day that the execution would be livestramed, according to AP.

Hasan is scheduled to face a military firing squad Dec. 3 at Fort Hood, Texas, at 1 p.m. Central Time.

Hegseth promised that the execution would be made public during an interview with conservative commentator Jack Posobiec aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, CNN reported.

“He’s gonna get a firing squad of soldiers,” Hegseth said during a Thursday interview with conservative commentator Jack Posobiec aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. “As it should be. We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it. That it’s public. Because people need to understand that there’s serious consequences for these types of things.” (Read more from “Americans Will Be Able To Watch Fort Hood Killer Face Firing Squad on Livestream, Hegseth Says” HERE)

‘Won’t Show Up Anywhere’: Kimberly Guilfoyle Reportedly Asked Trump Donor For Shady $100K Wire Transfer

President Donald Trump’s ambassador to Greece allegedly leaned on a MAGA donor to quietly send $100,000 to her American Express account just days before her Senate confirmation hearing, insisting the money move in a way that would leave no trail.

Kimberly Guilfoyle made the request to Eric Deters, a former Kentucky congressional candidate, over the encrypted app Signal on July 3, 2025, according to messages reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. Her confirmation hearing for the Athens post was set for July 9.

“It won’t show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express,” she wrote, per the Journal. She followed with a bill-payment PDF and a plea, the outlet reported: “Honey please I need you to get this done for me today.”

Deters never sent the cash, telling Guilfoyle it would end his marriage, according to the Journal. The two had been trading messages for months, the outlet reported, with Deters offering as much as $1 million if Guilfoyle could win him the attention of the new administration on personal tax and legal matters. She agreed to press officials at the Justice Department and the IRS on his behalf and worked to book him an interview with Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson, the Journal reported.

Carlson told the Journal he had never heard of Deters. “A million dollars for a podcast appearance? Isn’t she the ambassador to Greece? This is completely nuts,” he said.
