Conway Blasts Kushner Over 2020 ‘Debacle,’ Predicts Trump ‘Unstoppable’ in 2024

Former Trump White House adviser Kellyanne Conway has said that Donald Trump should keep his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, far away from the campaign trail if Trump makes another presidential run in 2024 — and accused Kushner of profiting “handsomely” from his four years in the West Wing.

Conway, who helmed the 45th president’s successful 2016 White House run, mocked reports that Kushner has said he is through with politics, calling that statement a “convenient way of saying, ‘Don’t hold me responsible for all the authority I gave myself.’”

“It’s become incredibly convenient for Jared to not be given responsibility for that 2020 debacle of a campaign, to not take responsibility for, frankly, not being there for his father-in-law now the way that he insisted on being there for five straight years until things didn’t really work out,” Conway said in an interview with the Washington Times published Wednesday.

Conway, who also trashed Kushner in her recent memoir “Here’s the Deal,” added: “There’s nobody who’s profited more handsomely from Donald Trump’s presidency than Jared Kushner,” referring to reports that the Saudi government invested $2 billion in the private equity firm Kushner started after leaving government service. Gunman Previously Told Cops He Was a Depressed Drug User

Confessed Highland Park shooter Robert Crimo III admitted to cops three years ago that he was a depressed teenage drug user when quizzed about threatening to “kill everyone” in his family, newly released documents show.

A Highland Park police report details why the then-18-year-old alleged shooter was flagged as a “clear and present danger” in 2019 — just a few months before his dad helped him start amassing the arsenal he allegedly used to kill seven and injure dozens at his local Fourth of July parade.

It notes that officers were called to his Highland Park home at 10 a.m. Sept. 5 for a well-being check after a relative said “Robert stated he was going to kill everyone.“

That relative — whose identity was redacted — “was afraid to go home due to the nature of the threat” and the fact that there was “a collection of knives in his bedroom,” the report released Wednesday notes.

Police quizzed the then-18-year-old Crimo in front of his mother, Denise Pesina, and he “admitted to being depressed … and having a history of drug use,” the redacted report said. Democrat Strategists Sound Alarm Over Joe Biden’s Setbacks; POLITICO Joins in on Covering Democrats’ Frustration With Biden

By Breitbart. Some Democrat strategists have expressed concern over President Joe Biden’s handling of hot-button issues such as inflation and abortion amid increasingly bleak polling numbers facing the president.

“There’s the administrative part of the job and the political part of the job, and it seems like this president is leaning more in the administrative role at a time when his coalition is thirsty for political clarity and leadership,” Democrat strategist Joel Payne said in an interview with The Hill published Wednesday. “The president and his team have to be vigilant about providing that and balance the need to do both.”

Another Democrat strategist, whose identity was not relieved by The Hill, sharply criticized Biden and White House officials, suggesting they need to do a lot more to solve a mounting number of issues plaguing the country.

“It’s infuriating,” the top strategist reportedly stated. “Our house is on fire and it seems like they’re doing nothing to put the fire out. They’re just watching it with the rest of us.”

As Playbook laid out:

The gist of their complaints: Biden (and Democrats) need a vibe shift — fast. They want the president to reflect their anger and angst. They want him to project strength and that he has a plan for meaningful action. They want him to pick fights at the right time with the right opponents, messaging on themes that get reinforced time and again.

And they feel all of this is missing from the White House right now.

Professor Blasts ‘Woke Takeover of Higher Education,’ Reveals Why He Finally Quit

University of California Los Angeles anthropology professor Joseph Manson revealed that he is leaving academia due to the “Woke takeover of higher education.”

A blog post from Manson, who decided to retire at the age of 62, details the ways in which “militant” faculty members are upending the university, even causing a decline in academic standards. He characterized UCLA’s anthropology department as “unusually peaceful” and “intellectually inclusive” until the late 2000s, when “militant faculty recruited even more extremely militant graduate students to work with them.”

Manson detailed the “public torment and humiliation” of colleague Professor Jeffrey Brantingham, who created predictive software that could aid law enforcement in preventing urban crime. A resolution passed by the school’s Anthropology Graduate Students Association condemned the work as furthering the “criminalization of Blackness in the United States,” as well as reinforcing “the racial capitalist and imperialist projects” dominant across the world. As a result, Brantingham became the target of activism from colleagues and students for years.

“This document contains no trace of scholarly argument, but instead resembles a religious proclamation of anathema,” Manson observed. “As you won’t be surprised to hear, Jeff is not a racist, but a standard-issue liberal Democrat.”

Manson said that several colleagues admitted to him that Brantingham was treated unfairly, though they refrained from saying so publicly due to “fear of the Woke faction.” Among other clues to the pervasive fear, Manson noted that all faculty members except for himself voted to drop the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) — an admissions test used by many American graduate schools — despite its usefulness in determining students’ qualifications, due to the possibility of being “regarded as racists.” (Read more from “Professor Blasts ‘Woke Takeover of Higher Education,’ Reveals Why He Finally Quit” HERE)

Leaked Phone Call Reveals Fiery Exchange Between Putin, Macron Days Before Ukraine War

Just four days before Moscow’s forces attacked Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron had a furious argument over the phone, with the Russian strongman claiming that Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky was lying to the French president, according to a bombshell leak.

Details of the confidential exchange between the two world leaders on Feb. 20 were revealed in a new documentary about Macron’s handling of the ongoing conflict, titled “A President, Europe and War,” which premiered last week on channel France 2.

As Russia was in the process of massing its forces in preparation for the full-scale invasion in late February, Macron called his Russian counterpart to offer his views on the escalating situation and discuss “useful actions” to defuse it.

Putin quickly turned the conversation to “our dear colleague Mr. Zelensky,” accusing the Ukrainian president of “lying” to Macron about his intention to implement the Minsk Accords, which had sought to end the war in the Donbas region.

WATCH: Police Open Fire on Farmers Protesting Job-Destroying Climate Rules

Dutch police opened fire on tractor-riding farmers who were protesting a government climate proposal late Tuesday in the north of the Netherlands.

For weeks now, Dutch farmers have organized a nationwide protest against plans to cut nitrogen oxide emissions from farm animal manure and the use of ammonia in fertilizer in half by 2030. Government officials say the plan is necessary to reduce “harmful” pollutants, but the farmers are complaining that the government’s standards would destroy their livelihoods.

As part of their demonstrations against the government, farmers have used tractors to block highways and cut off supermarket distribution centers, Reuters reported.

On Tuesday, police said they fired warning shots and arrested several people after some of the protesters drove their tractors toward officers at a highway entry lane in Friesland, according to German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle.

Highland Park Gunman Had an Affinity for Numbers 4 and 7: Authorities

The accused Highland Park gunman was bizarrely obsessed with the numbers 4 and 7, which are the date of his massacre when transposed, police said Wednesday.

Robert E. “Bobby” Crimo III, 21, had the numbers painted on his silver Acura and even tattooed on his face, showing he clearly “had an affinity” for the figures, Lake County County Major Crime Task Force spokesman Christopher Covelli told reporters.

The suspect — whose alleged rampage at a Fourth of July parade in the Chicago suburb Monday left seven innocent people dead and dozens more injured — also reportedly used the name “Awake47” for an online forum where he and others regularly posted images of the aftermath of violence.

Illegal Aliens Arrested in July 4th Mass Shooting Plot After Tip From ‘Hero’

Two illegal immigrants were arrested in a mass shooting plot at the Richmond, Virginia, July Fourth celebration.

“A hero citizen picked up the phone and overheard a conversation there was a mass shooting being planned here in the city of Richmond, Virginia,” Richmond Chief of Police Gerald Smith said Wednesday.

Two illegal immigrants, 52-year-old Julio Alvarado-Dubon and 38-year-old Rolman Balacarcel, were arrested and charged with being a non-U.S. citizens in possession of a gun after police uncovered a plot that the duo planned a mass shooting at Richmond’s July 4 celebration Monday.

At a press conference Wednesday, Smith said that police investigated Alvarado-Dubon based on a tip to police by someone he would only refer to as a “hero citizen.” Police investigated the claims and found Alvarado-Dubon was in possession of two rifles, one handgun, and 223 rounds of ammunition. He was arrested on July 1, while Balacarcel was placed under surveillance and eventually arrested on the same charges on Tuesday.

Republican Says Treasury Restricting Access to Suspicious Activity Reports on Hunter Biden

A top House Republican investigator says the Treasury Department is restricting access to suspicious activity reports on Hunter Biden and is investigating whether that is being done to protect President Joe Biden and his troubled son.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the ranking member on the House Oversight and Reform Committee, sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen on Wednesday, following up on a May letter.

“I wrote to you requesting information regarding Hunter Biden and other Biden associates and family members’ financial transactions flagged by U.S. banks for reporting to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) through Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). The Biden Administration is restricting Congress’ access to SARs, and Committee Republicans are investigating whether this change in longstanding policy is motivated by efforts to shield Hunter Biden and potentially President Biden from scrutiny,” Comer wrote.

A black Republican pastor running for Congress in Arizona dropped an ad Wednesday in which he uses an AR-15 to confront members of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK).

Jerone Davison is running for Arizona’s fourth congressional district. In the ad dropped on Twitter with the caption “Make Rifles Great Again,” Davison says sometimes an AR-15 is needed.

“Democrats like to say that no one needs an AR-15 for self defense. That no one could possibly need all 30 rounds. But when this rifle is the only thing standing between your family and a dozen angry Democrats in Klan hoods, you just might need that semi-automatic. And all 30 rounds.”
