The Biden administration has announced another $400 million in military aid to Ukraine, a senior defense official told reporters on Friday.
This aid, which is the 15th presidential drawdown since Russia invaded Ukraine in late February, includes four more Lockheed Martin-created High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, known as HIMARS, ammunition for them, three tactical vehicles, a thousand rounds of 155 mm artillery ammunition, demolition munitions, a counter-battery system, and spare parts.
Prior to the latest announcement, the United States had provided Ukraine with eight HIMARS, all of which are currently there and still operational despite claims from the Russian military that it had hit such targets. The Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade in its Dobbs v. Jackson decision is a historic turning point in the battle for equal protection of preborn lives. But in the celebration over consigning blatantly unconstitutional pieces of judicial legislation to “the dustbin of history,” pro-lifers might be learning the wrong lessons. A non-leftist court is not guaranteed forever, and we must consider the hazards of holding the Supreme Court as the final arbiters of constitutionality, particularly when matters of life, death, and bodily autonomy are at stake.
While America submitted for nearly half a century to Roe‘s legal fiction, approximately 63 million preborn lives were snuffed out. Yes, pro-lifers have mourned all these lives lost. But the genocide would not have been of this magnitude if, for nearly five decades, the pro-life movement had focused on upholding the Constitution’s guarantees of the inalienable rights to life and equal protection instead of wrongly submitting to the obviously unconstitutional Roe opinion. . .
In 2019, Texas Alliance for Life’s Joe Pojman told the Austin Chronicle that a Texas abolition bill couldn’t receive their support because “We could no sooner ignore SCOTUS than the force of gravity.” Other pro-life leaders have made similar statements wrongly affirming Roe as the law of the land–a murderous regime, to be sure, but worthy of deference nonetheless.
Now, instead of admitting that states should never have tolerated Roe, pro-lifers are hailing Dobbs as an example of how trusting in “the system” pays off. Forty-nine years of legally enshrined child sacrifice is not success. Forty-nine years of Roe and its progeny governing before the court finally righted its grave errors is not evidence of “the success of the conservative legal movement,” but rather a lasting stain on the character of this nation.
A virtuous nation loyal to the Constitution would never have tolerated Roe a single day, just as Dred Scott v. Sandford wasn’t tolerated. That odious ruling that attempted to ensure owning slaves was legal in every part of America was defied by state supreme courts, legislatures, and even President Abraham Lincoln. Likewise, success in the abortion battle would have been holding ground in defense of the preborn and expanding existing prohibitions on abortion. It would have been state officials nullifying or interposing unconstitutional laws, not deferring to judicial rulings that sought to distort the Constitution’s meaning. Democrat President Joe Biden repeatedly struggled while delivering remarks on Friday after he signed an executive order attempting to protect access to abortion after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
Biden repeatedly demonized the nation’s highest court during his remarks, calling the ruling “terrible” and “extreme,” and claiming without evidence that the ruling was “not a decision driven by the Constitution.”
During his remarks, Biden repeatedly stammered, struggled to pronounce words, and appeared to read a little too much off the teleprompter, which earned him widespread mockery, including from Elon Musk.
“It is noteworthy that the percentage of women who register to vote and cast a ballot is consistently higher than the percentage of the men who do so — end of quote. Repeat the line,” Biden said. “Women are not without electoral and, or political — let me be precise — not and, or — or political power.”
Musk responded with a meme from the movie “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” starring Will Ferrell.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) found that Border Patrol agents who many mistook to be “whipping” Haitian migrants at the border never whipped anyone, according to CBP Commissioner Chris Magnus.
The September 2021 “whipping” incident took place in Del Rio, Texas, when Border Patrol agents on horseback attempted to push back dozens of Haitian migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border. Several agents were seen using their horses’ reins to maneuver around the migrants and push them back.
Many commentators, including prominent Democrats and activists, mistook the reins for whips and alleged the agents were whipping the Haitian migrants.
“Whips are not part of Border Patrol training or equipment,” Magnus said, adding that CBP found no evidence Border Patrol agents struck any migrants, either intentionally or on accident, with their reins.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that unmanned ballot drop boxes are illegal in the state and can no longer be used, marking a victory for election integrity activists.
“Ballot drop boxes are illegal under Wisconsin statutes. An absentee ballot must be returned by mail or the voter must personally deliver it to the municipal clerk at the clerk’s office or a designated alternate site,” the opinion states.

Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna paraded himself on Fox News Thursday to bash President Joe Biden for sending American oil overseas.
American oil exports have increased in recent months, Reuters reported, driven by Biden’s decision to release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
In fact, even some of the oil released from the SPR is being sent overseas. More than 5 million barrels were shipped to countries in Europe and Asia last month. Destinations included France, the Netherlands, India, and even China, according to Reuters. . .
Speaking on “America Reports,” the California Democrat admitted he does “not understand” why the Biden administration has refused to stop oil exports as Americans face record-high prices at the gas pump. . .

Hunter Biden called his step-mom Jill Biden a “vindictive moron” and “entitled c–t” in text messages after she urged him to go to rehab to kick his drug habit, according to a new report.
President Biden’s 52-year-old druggie son made the remarks in a string of text messages that he sent in 2018 as he family were rallying to get him help, The Sun reported.
In one particular text sent to his brother Beau’s widow, Hallie Biden, who he was scandalously dating at the time, Hunter went off on the now first lady.
“F–k my stepmother for always being as much of a selfish silly entitled c–t as you,” he wrote to Hallie as their brief relationship deteriorated.

There really seems to be no limit to the convolutions that develop when the Biden family works on its international business schemes.
Probably one of the most famous was when Joe Biden was vice president and traveled to Ukraine for Barack Obama. At that time Hunter Biden was taking in tens of thousands of dollars a month from a Ukrainian company under investigation for corruption. . .
Now the Free Beacon is reporting that some of that oil Joe Biden released from America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve, ostensibly to help American consumers with sky-high gasoline prices brought on by his energy and economic policies, was sold to a Chinese company.
A Chinese company in which Hunter Biden has interests, the report said.
It’s through Hunter Biden’s links to Sinopec, in which he, through an equity firm, previously bought a $1.7 billion stake.
Biden's Energy Department in April announced the sale of 950,000 Strategic Petroleum Reserve barrels to Sinopec, the trading arm of the China Petrochemical Corporation.
In 2015, a private equity firm Hunter Biden cofounded bought a $1.7 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing.

Democratic Rhode Island state senator Tiara Mack on Thursday posted a series of flyers saying she will “twerk for trans rights,” among other reasons.
Mack was responding to a video posted on Monday by influential Twitter account “Libs of TikTok” that shows the state senator “twerking”—dancing in a provocative manner that involves shaking her butt and thrusting her hips. Mack in response blasted “the media” for “trying not to cover the real issues.”
“Not on MY watch,” she wrote. “I #TwerkFor joy, abortion justice, body autonomy, trans rights, and intersex rights.” She then posted the flyers.
While Mack will likely win reelection in her heavily Democratic state Senate district, Democrats face a surprisingly tough race in one of the deep-blue state’s congressional districts. Republican Allan Fung is polling ahead of all potential Democratic nominees in Rhode Island’s Second Congressional District, a seat the GOP has not held for 30 years. By Breitbart. Eyewitnesses described Friday’s assassination of Japan’s former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo as a scene of utter chaos, saying onlookers of the attack fainted in shock as pieces of plastic debris flew off of the still-unidentified weapon used to kill him.
Abe, Japan’s longest-serving prime minister, died on Friday in the city of Nara after a man now identified as 41-year-old Yamagami Tetsuya shot him with what Japanese media indicate at press time appeared to be a homemade firearm. Doctors reported that Abe suffered cardiac arrest as a result of wounds in his neck. He was 67 years old.
Abe, of the long-ruling conservative Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), left a legacy of advocating for Japan to take on a larger international role, including expanding its minimal defense capabilities and investing in a closer relationship with America.
Shortly before his death, Abe spent much of his public time following his resignation in 2020 warning that world must act to contain the threat of Chinese communism and urging America to expand its support for the nation of Taiwan, which China routinely threatens to invade. Chinese media outlets threatened “routine” military exercises around Japan as recently as Wednesday in response to the LDP’s concerns about Beijing’s belligerence.
Police have yet to reveal a motive for the shooting at press time, though Japanese newspapers report that Yamagami told police he intended to kill Abe because he was “dissatisfied” with his political performance. Some reports indicate that Yamagami also gave police other unrelated information, such as a claim that he wanted to kill an unnamed “religious” leader, instead of or in addition to Abe.

Japan has some of the most stringent gun controls in the world.
The University of Sydney’s gunpolicy.org labels Japan’s gun controls as “restrictive” and notes they include an handgun ban, an “assault weapons” ban, and a ban on private gun sales.
Certain rifles and shotguns are the only guns that the Japanese people are allowed to own, but the process to legally obtain one of those is arduous. For example, a would-be rifle or shotgun owner must first acquire a gun owner’s license and that process includes passage of a criminal and mental health background check, including third-party character references.
