Big Tech Censoring of Ukraine War Goes Into Hyperdrive

Google has sent a warning shot across the world, ominously informing media outlets, bloggers, and content creators that it will no longer tolerate certain opinions when it comes to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

[In April], Google AdSense sent a message to a myriad of publishers, including [this article’s original publisher,] MintPress News, informing us that, “Due to the war in Ukraine, we will pause monetization of content that exploits, dismisses, or condones the war.” This content, it went on to say, “includes, but is not limited to, claims that imply victims are responsible for their own tragedy or similar instances of victim-blaming, such as claims that Ukraine is committing genocide or deliberately attacking its own citizens.”

This builds on a similar message Google’s subsidiary YouTube released [in March], stating, “Our Community Guidelines prohibit content denying, minimizing or trivializing well-documented violent events. We are now removing content about Russia’s invasion in Ukraine that violates this policy.” YouTube went on to say that it had already permanently banned more than a thousand channels and 15,000 videos on these grounds. . .

Journalist and filmmaker Abby Martin was deeply troubled by the news. “It is really disturbing that this is the trend that we are on” . . .

[And journalist Chris Hedges wrote,] “Censorship is the last resort of desperate and unpopular regimes. It magically appears to make a crisis go away. Netflix Nightmare: More Shows Shutting Down

As consumers dump their Netflix subscriptions, the far-left streamer is reportedly stopping the production of two more animated kids’ series.

Dino Daycare, created by Jeff King, and the South Asian-inspired adventure Boons and Curses, created by Jaydeep Hasrajani, will not move forward at the streaming giant, according to a report by the Hollywood Reporter.

Dino Daycare was to feature a 6-year-old boy who helps out at a nursery for baby dinosaurs in a world where dinosaurs never went extinct. Boons and Curses was to center around a young warrior — who is made of butter due to a curse — and who takes on an evil ruler.

The two kids series are not the first shows to be canceled at Netflix amid a major loss of subscribers. Planned animated series based on Jeff Smith’s popular comic book series Bone and Roald Dahl’s novel The Twits have also been canceled. 94 Percent of Americans Concerned About Inflation, Overwhelmingly Trust Republicans to Handle It: Poll

More than 9 in 10 American are concerned about inflation, according to a new poll.

According to the poll of more than 1,000 adults conducted by The Washington Post and ABC News between April 24-28, fully 94% of Americans were either “upset” or “concerned” about the impact of skyrocketing inflation.

The poll asked respondents: “Thinking about the current rate of inflation, meaning rising prices – is this something you are upset about, concerned about but not upset, or not concerned about?” Some 44% of adults said they were “upset” about inflation. Another 50% said they were “concerned but not upset,” and just 6% said they were not concerned.

The poll also asked respondents their opinion of how President Joe Biden was handling his job as president. Biden’s overall approval was underwater by 10 points: 42% of voters approved of Biden’s job, while 52% disapproved. Broken down by intensity, Americans had much stronger negative feelings about Biden than positive. Respondents who approved of Biden were evenly split: 21% strongly approved of Biden’s job, while 21% somewhat approved. Respondents who disapproved were much more intense: 42% of respondents strongly disapproved, while just 10% somewhat disapproved. Insanity: University Midwifery Students Taught Biological Men Can Give Birth

Midwifery students at a university in Scotland were instructed on how to care for a “birthing person” who has male genitalia.

The instruction at Edinburgh Napier University was part of an online module on the proper use of a catheter while providing care for a “pregnant or birthing person.” A catheter drains the bladder and is sometimes used by pregnant women while they are giving birth.

“It is important to note that while most times the birthing person will have female genitalia, you may be caring for a pregnant or birthing person who is transitioning from male to female and may still have external male genitalia,” the lesson said.

Here’s What Trump Thinks About Transgender Athletes (VIDEO)

In an interview this week, former President Donald Trump called out transgender athletes competing in women’s sports.

“How much do you think the cancel culture, woke debate, is now beginning to really damage the Democrats? And I’ll give you the example that’s been raging recently, this whole issue of transgender athletes in sport, for example. Women’s sport. Lia Thomas, the swimmer. I think it’s grotesquely unfair,” Morgan said.

“It is,” Trump agreed.

“You can support trans rights to equality and fairness, but also understand that what’s going on in sport is inherently unfair and unjust and unequal. Is that your position?” Morgan added.

“People see it and they won’t put up with it,” Trump responded. “They had a weight lifter where the record was, for 11 or 12 years, and they’d put a half-an-ounce on each side, the woman would lift – a guy comes along and breaks the record by numbers you would never –”

Biden Laughing at Trevor Noah’s Remarks on Suffering of Americans Is Not a Great Look

Trevor Noah, host of “The Daily Show,” headlined Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, after President Joe Biden gave his own remarks. Many of the jokes were true, as was also the case with the president’s remarks, specifically as he poked fun at himself with his low approval ratings. When it came time for Noah to reference how the American people are hurting from high costs across the board, Biden’s reaction really drew responses, for all the wrong reasons.

“I think ever since you came into office, things are really looking up, you know. Gas is up, rent is up, food is up, everything.” The camera panned to Biden’s reaction, which wasn’t a simple chuckle, but some hearty laughter.

The next day, on Sunday afternoon, Joe Biden’s personal account tweeted a pitiful attempt of trying to convince Americans that “I’m focused on doing everything I can to lower the cost of gas and energy and accelerate our transition to clean energy.”

Study: Young Mothers With Children by Multiple Partners More Likely to Experience Abuse

Younger mothers with children by multiple fathers are more likely to experience psychological or physical harassment, economic abuse and sexual violence than younger mothers who have children with only one partner, a new Rutgers study finds.

The findings, published in the journal Family Relations, indicate a strong link between intimate partner violence (IPV) and multiple partner fertility (MPF). Reasons include complex family dynamics, fractured kinship models and family structure ambiguity. It is believed to be the first study to examine how MPF is associated with the risk of experiencing IPV.

“We know that social and financial support are key for mothers’ well-being, and that a social-support system can mitigate intimate partner violence,” said Iris Cardenas, a doctoral candidate at Rutgers’ School of Social Work and lead author of the study. Less is understood about how family change, which can lead to complexity in living arrangements, affects IPV risk. “We saw signals suggesting a link, but there was nothing in the literature looking at it.”

Previous research has shown the likelihood of victimization is higher in less affluent contexts: approximately one in three women in the Global South (lower-income countries in Africa, Asia, Oceania, Latin America and the Caribbean) experiences IPV in their lifetime. Risks are even greater in Colombia, a country with a high prevalence of MPF and IPV.

Using data from Colombia collected during the 2015 Demographic and Health Survey (DHS), a standardized survey administered by USAID, Cardenas and co-author Laura Cuesta, an assistant professor at the School of Social Work, conducted a series of analyses to determine if having children with multiple partners increased a woman’s odds of suffering violence. The survey included questions specific to IPV, and nearly 39,000 Colombian women were interviewed. Ex-U.S. Marine Killed in Ukraine Was Hired by Private Company to Fight There; Two Army Vets Wounded

By New York Post. A former US Marine who was hired to fight alongside Ukrainian soldiers against Russian invaders was killed this week.

Willy Joseph Cancel, 22, was being paid by a private military contracting company to fight in Ukraine when he died on Monday, family members told CNN.

“He wanted to go over because he believed in what Ukraine was fighting for, and he wanted to be a part of it to contain it there so it didn’t come here, and that maybe our American soldiers wouldn’t have to be involved in it,” Cancel’s mother, Rebecca Cabrera told the network.

Cancel flew to Poland on March 12 and arrived in Ukraine the next day to fight alongside men from “all different countries,” Cabrera reportedly said.

Two Americans, Both Former Army, Wounded by Artillery in Ukraine Combat

By Coffee Ordie. Two Americans volunteering in Ukraine’s armed forces were wounded by artillery fire during combat in southeastern Ukraine on Wednesday, April 27.

US Army veterans Paul Gray and Manus McCaffery were on a mission to destroy a Russian tank near Orikhiv, a small city in the path of Russia’s ongoing military offensive in the south and east of Ukraine. The pair were waiting for a Russian tank to appear on a road when an artillery round struck nearby at roughly 2:35 p.m., Gray told Coffee or Die Magazine via text message. McCaffery suffered serious shrapnel wounds to his face, head, shoulders, and torso. A concrete wall fell onto Gray, momentarily trapping him and injuring his left foot.

“Manus is really bad…I’m sick about it,” Gray said, adding that he was about five feet from McCaffery when the artillery struck. “I couldn’t help him because a concrete wall fell on my legs. He remained talking the whole time. Extremely hard young man.”

A native of Ohio, McCaffery, 20, served in the US Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment and deployed to Afghanistan. Gray, who is originally from Texas, deployed to Iraq three times as a soldier in the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division. Both men are no longer in the US armed forces and were civilians when they volunteered to join Ukraine’s armed forces via legal pathways. The two American volunteers served within a Ukrainian special operations unit and worked together as a team targeting Russian tanks and vehicles with US-made Javelin anti-tank missiles. Musk No Fan of ‘Far Right,’ but Says ‘Far Left’ ‘Hates Everyone’

Elon Musk already has sent progressives into shock with his purchase of Twitter and his not-at-all-veiled references to free speech returning to the industry-leading social media site.

That alone could disrupt the entire liberal strategy for America’s future, as for years now Twitter has been a leading site for suppressing conservative thought, and amplifying the Democrats’ agenda.

But now he’s gone further, stating online that “By ‘free speech’, I simply mean that which matches the law. I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law. If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefor, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people.”

Proof ‘Woke’ Leaders Don’t Actually Believe Anything They Say

Every day, America’s leaders bombard the rest of us with a fusillade of the latest “woke” moral imperatives: “Equity!” “Diversity!” “Climate justice!” “Anti-racism!” “Trans rights!” “Reproductive justice!” “Preserving our democracy!”

Whether in government, big tech, big media or big business, our elites continually invoke these and other sacred mantras of the religion of Leftism, displaying to the world their superior moral virtue – in stark contrast to the vast unwashed peasant class comprising tens of millions of bigots, extremists, white supremacists, conservatives and other deplorables.

Yet, probe just beneath the surface of their “woke” righteousness, their passionate angst over “systemic racism,” “marginalized communities” and “saving the planet,” and it turns out most of these wealthy elites – whose policies are, after all, wrecking the country – don’t really believe in any of the left’s phantasmagoric causes.

They know men can’t have babies.
