By The Blaze. A report Thursday says that Michael Cohen, the former lawyer for President Donald Trump, will testify that the president knew about a meeting with Russians he has previously claimed he knew nothing about. . .

The controversial meeting took place in June 2016 at Trump Tower and was attended by Donald Trump Jr., publicist Rob Goldstone, Paul Manafort, Jared Kushner, and various Russians with connections to the Russian government.

Trump Jr. admitted that he was seeking damaging information about Hillary Clinton ahead of the election. In emails that he posted to his Twitter account, Trump Jr. had accepted the meeting organized by Goldstone, who said the information was coming from the Russian government. He also claimed Russia supported Trump’s presidential campaign. . .

According to sources that spoke to CNN, Cohen is willing to testify that he was present when Trump Jr. told then-candidate Trump about the meeting, and that he saw Trump approve of the meeting. . .

In a combative interview on CNN Thursday, Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani called Michael Cohen a liar and an unreliable witness. He said that Cohen lacked all credibility, and that it could actually damage any case if his testimony was included. Michael Cohen Wants Gag Order Against Stormy Daniels’ Attorney for Alleged Smear Campaign

By ABC News. Michael Cohen’s efforts to muzzle one of his chief antagonists will be before a federal judge in Los Angeles on Friday, as President Donald Trump’s long-time fixer seeks a gag order against Michael Avenatti, the outspoken attorney for adult-film star, Stormy Daniels.

Cohen’s lawyers have likened Avenatti to a “small-town carnival magician,” and have accused him in court filings of a deliberate smear campaign against Cohen involving more than 170 television appearances and upwards of 500 tweets “during which he routinely accused Cohen of various criminal acts” and of “being a moron.”

“Mr. Avenatti’s actions are mainly driven by his seemingly unquenchable thirst for publicity,” wrote Cohen’s attorney Brent Blakely in a court filing earlier this month.

Avenatti has called the request for a gag order “a complete joke and baseless.” He has been unrelenting in his public criticism of Cohen, even as the former Trump Organization executive has publicly signaled a break with the president – and an apparent willingness to cooperate with federal prosecutors. Federal Judge Orders State to Pay for Gender Reassignment Surgery for Medicaid Recipients

Wisconsin must pay the gender reassignment surgery for two transgender Medicaid recipients, a federal judge in Madison has ruled. . .

Cody Flack of Green Bay and Sara Ann Makenzie of Baraboo filed a lawsuit in April that claimed that Wisconsin’s denial of coverage for transgender surgeries violated the Affordable Care Act and their “equal protection rights,” the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. . .

On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge William Conley granted a preliminary injunction to bar enforcement of the rule. Conley also suggested the injunction be expanded to include “any transgender Medicaid patient whose doctor recommends the surgery,” according to the report.

“The likelihood of ongoing, irreparable harm facing these two individual plaintiffs outweighs any marginal impacts on the defendants’ stated concerns regarding public health or limiting costs,” Conley wrote in a 39-page order. . .

According to the report, Flack has “cerebral palsy, uses a motorized wheelchair and “relies on Supplemental Security Income for the disabled as his sole support,” the report said. Obama Knowingly Funded Designated Al-Qaeda Affiliate

A new report released on Wednesday revealed that the Obama administration knowingly provided an Islamic terrorist-financing organization with hundreds of thousands of dollars despite the fact that the group had been designated as a terrorist-financing organization for a decade by the U.S. government.

Obama officials approved the release of well over $100,000 even after they were informed that the Khartoum-based Islamic Relief Agency (ISRA) was affiliated with Osama bin Laden and Maktab al-Khidamat (MK), which eventually became al-Qaeda.

ISRA, also referred to as the Islamic African Relief Agency (IARA), received a $200,000 taxpayer-funded grant from the Obama administration, which released at least $115,000 to the terrorist-financing organization. . .

World Vision had informed the USAID in 2014 that ISRA was on the designated terrorist organization list and subsequently had to wait for an assessment from the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) before they could receive the money.

Obama Administration Knowingly Funded a Designated Al-Qaeda Affiliate

By National Review. The Middle East Forum has discovered that the Obama administration approved a grant of $200,000 of taxpayer money to an al-Qaeda affiliate in Sudan — a decade after the U.S. Treasury designated it as a terrorist-financing organization. More stunningly, government officials specifically authorized the release of at least $115,000 of this grant even after learning that it was a designated terror organization.

The story began in October 2004, when the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated the Khartoum-based Islamic Relief Agency (ISRA), also known as the Islamic African Relief Agency (IARA), as a terror-financing organization. It did so because of ISRA’s links to Osama bin Laden and his organization Maktab al-Khidamat (MK), the precursor of al-Qaeda.

According to the U.S. Treasury, in 1997 ISRA established formal cooperation with MK. By 2000, ISRA had raised $5 million for bin Laden’s group. The Treasury Department notes that ISRA officials even sought to help “relocate [bin Laden] to secure safe harbor for him.” It further reports that ISRA raised funds in 2003 in Western Europe specifically earmarked for Hamas suicide bombings.

The 2004 designation included all of ISRA’s branches, including a U.S. office called the Islamic American Relief Agency (IARA-USA). Eventually it became known that this American branch had illegally transferred over $1.2 million to Iraqi insurgents and other terror groups, including, reportedly, the Afghan terrorist Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. In 2010, the executive director of IARA-USA and a board member pled guilty to money-laundering, theft of public funds, conspiracy, and several other charges. Suspect Arrested After Trump’s Hollywood Star Is Destroyed

President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed early Wednesday morning, allegedly by a man wielding a pickax.

Los Angeles police told The Hollywood Reporter that a call came into the department around 3:33 a.m. about the star’s destruction.

Police added that a 25-year-old man had been taken into custody around 6:20 a.m. regarding the incident and had been booked for felony vandalism.

KNBC reporter Jonathan Gonzalez tweeted: “Multiple people — including police — tell me a man walked up with a guitar case and pulled out the pick axe.

“Then, it’s believed, he called police himself to report it, but left the scene before they got here.”

Wednesday’s incident marks the second time Trump’s star has been completely destroyed.

In October 2016, 53-year-old James Lambert Otis was taped taking a pickax and a sledgehammer to the iconic symbol.

Otis later pleaded no contest to felony vandalism and was fined $4,400 for the damage and was sentenced to three years probation and 20 days of community service, Politico reported.

“Trump’s star has experienced minor vandalism before, such as being spray painted and having a tiny wall built around it,” according to Politico.

The star is located near the highly trafficked Dolby Theater (site of the Academy Awards ceremony) on Hollywood Boulevard.

Deadline reported that is was dedicated in 2007 in recognition of Trump’s work on the successful NBC reality television program “The Apprentice.”

There are more than 2,500 stars on the Walk of Fame, which are maintained by the Hollywood Historic Trust and chosen by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber responded to a petition to remove Trump’s star from the Walk in 2016 by saying it was staying.

“Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Leron Gubler, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president, told the Los Angeles Times. “Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.” (For more from the author of “Suspect Arrested After Trump’s Hollywood Star Is Destroyed” please click HERE)

Global Warming Study Claims Thousands Will Commit Suicide Over the Weather

A July study claims that thousands more people will commit suicide in the coming decades due to man-made global warming.

Published in the journal Nature Climate Change on Monday, the study found a one-degree increase in average monthly temperature correlated with suicide rate increases of 0.68 percent and 2.1 percent in the U.S. and Mexico, respectively.

The effect they found is extremely small, and in some cases, not statistically significant from zero. Still, the results were touted in media reports as evidence that increased temperatures exacerbate suicides.

The study predicts between 9,000 and 40,000 more people will off themselves by 2050 because of man-made warming — based on an extreme warming scenario that experts increasingly call “exceptionally unlikely.”

“So we take a specific location and we take a specific month, and we compare cooler versions of that month to hotter versions of that month, and we ask, ‘Are suicide rates different during those two months?’ We indeed find that they are,” lead author Marshall Burke told CNN. It’s Suspicious That the FBI and DOJ Didn’t Check Into Christopher Steele’s Leaks to the Press

. . .It is now public knowledge that Christopher Steele was the “well-placed Western intelligence” source of Michael Isikoff’s September 2016 Yahoo News article. He admitted as much in a deposition to a United Kingdom court in May 2017.

Imagine the FBI did their homework and (officially) discovered the truth: that Steele had lied to them about the leak to Isikoff, a lie that would have been uttered and discovered prior to the October 21, 2016 FISA proceeding.

This would present a challenging set of circumstances, in a legal and moral sense, to the FBI. Their source had committed a demonstrable felony—he lied to the FBI—yet a pivotal portion of their FISA application consisted of information provided by a now-felonious liar, upon whose character and credibility the FBI relied as a guarantor of the indeterminable credibility of the second- and third-removed sources who provided information to him.

Lest we forget, that information goes to the heart of the case against the American citizen the FBI asked the court to designate an agent of a foreign power, thus suspending his rights under the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution and giving the government unlimited access to his private and personal communications. . .

The facts—according to the FISA application the FBI and DOJ presented—are that Steele lied to the FBI about his leaks to the press prior to the October 2016 FISA proceeding. The FBI was either unable or unwilling to apply their awesome investigative capabilities to either prove or disprove the lie. Cohen’s Lawyer: There Are More Tapes. Trump’s Lawyer: Yeah, but There’s Just One Problem.

On Tuesday night, CNN aired an audio tape secretly recorded by Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen in September 2016 in which the two discuss potentially buying the rights to a former Playboy playmate’s account of her alleged affair with Trump.

Asked by George Stephanopolous on “Good Morning America” Wednesday if there are more tapes featuring Trump, Cohen’s lawyer Lanny Davis said suggestively that “there are certainly more tapes,” but declined to reveal if Trump is on them.

But Rudy Giuliani, one of Trump’s current lawyers, says that the existence of more Cohen tapes is irrelevant to his client because Trump’s not on any of them.

“There are no other tapes with the president,” the former New York City mayor told Fox News Tuesday night. “We have all of the tapes in our possession. We have transcripts of all them. We are comfortable with them. … There are no others.”

As for CNN’s “bombshell” audio, to which Trump’s team waived attorney-client privilege to release to the investigators, Giuliani shrugged it off, saying, “There’s no indication of any crime being committed on this tape.”

Michael Cohen Secretly Recorded Conversation With CNN Cuomo, Telling Him He Paid Stormy ‘on My Own’: Report

By Fox News. Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former lawyer, secretly recorded a conversation with CNN’s Chris Cuomo and admitted in the tape to arranging—on his own—a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels in 2016, The Wall Street Journal reported late Wednesday, citing unnamed sources.

The recording—which is about two-hours long—included topics ranging from the alleged years-old Trump affair with the former porn star to the payment, the report said. The reported tape could potentially be used by the White House to distance Trump from the Daniels payment and damage Cohen’s character.

Cohen reportedly assured Cuomo that he was not taping their conversation, and put the phone in his desk drawer. The phone appears to record the whole conversation.

“I did it on my own,” Cohen said about the payment in the recording, according to the newspaper. Gun-Wielding Punks Caught on Video Robbing Vietnam Vet, Cancer Survivor

By Daily Wire. A Vietnam veteran and cancer survivor was sitting on his porch at his Detroit home when two men robbed him at gunpoint on Friday afternoon.

“The guy kept saying ‘I will shoot you.’ I said ‘You [don’t have] to shoot me, take what you’ve want,'” Kendrick Holloway, 68, told Fox 2.

The suspects did not shoot Holloway; they did, however, steal jewelry right off his body that the veteran described as having sentimental value.

Holloway explained that his pupils were still dilated from an earlier doctor’s appointment, so his vision was blurred during the attack.

“I dropped the keys, I bent over to pick them up and they were right on me,” he said, adding, “It happened so fast, I didn’t even have a chance to think about it. The biggest thing was, ‘don’t shoot, just take the jewelry.’ That’s replaceable, I’m not.”

Gunmen Caught on Doorbell Camera Robbing Detroit Veteran

By Fox 2. . .They did steal sentimental valuable jewelry right off of Kendrick’s body. Then while Kendrick was speaking to FOX 2, Detroit police called a family member to say they had arrested a possible suspect.

“That’s fast action,” Holloway said. “Police is doing their job. They are working it. They are giving a Vietnam veteran some props.

“I love them for it.”

And Kendrick is confident it’s only a matter of time before all the people involved in the crime are arrested.

Pro-Life Priests Arrested for Prayerful Protest at Late-Term Abortionist’s Clinic in DC

By Townhall. Yesterday morning, two Catholic priests (along with two additional pro-life activists) were arrested for praying inside of a Washington, D.C. abortion facility.

The “Red Rose Rescue”–where pro-life individuals peacefully enter an abortuary, distribute red roses to mothers as a symbol of life, and quietly speak with and pray for them–was intentionally scheduled for the same day as the sentencing hearing of two different pro-life activists, arrested in December 2017 for participating in a rescue at the same clinic.

Those arrested yesterday were named as Father Dave Nix of the Archdiocese of Denver, Father Fidelis Moscinski of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, Will Goodman, and a woman who goes only by the name of “Baby Jane Doe”. Additional pro-life activists stood outside in the rain, praying, as the four were handcuffed by police and taken to jail.

The rescue took place in D.C.’s Capital Women’s Services, where the notorious Dr. Stephen Chase Brigham works as a late-term abortionist.

According to Operation Rescue (a pro-life activist organization and watchdog), Dr. Brigham is considered to be “the worst abortionist in America.” He is so bad, in fact, that the National Abortion Federation (certainly no pillar of virtue itself) allegedly revoked his membership years ago. 2 Catholic Priests, 2 Activists Arrested for Pro-Life Witness Inside Abortion Center

By Life Site News. Two Catholic priests and two pro-life activists were arrested for refusing to leave an abortion facility this morning, where they distributed red roses and begged the mothers inside to choose life.

Father Fidelis Moscinski of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, Father Dave Nix of the Archdiocese of Denver, Will Goodman, and an unidentified woman entered Capital Women’s Services, the abortuary operated by Steven Chase Brigham at 6323 Georgia Ave NW, Suite 210 shortly after 9:00 a.m.

They were inside for roughly two hours, and then, because they refused to cooperate with the police on scene, were carried out one by one. Goodman and Fr. Nix eventually stood up to get inside police cars; Fr. Fidelis and the unnamed woman, who goes by “Baby Jane Doe” in solidarity with aborted children, were both limp as officers loaded them into police vehicles. “Baby Jane Doe,” who participated in a May 26 Red Rose Rescue at the same facility, will not give her name to the police. After her last arrest, the charges against her were dropped and she was released from police custody without ever revealing her name. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Bulldozes Another Narrative About Russia

By Townhall. After months of speculation President Trump would recognize Russia’s annexation of Crimea as legitimate, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo bulldozed that narrative during testimony in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Wednesday afternoon.

“On the subject of Russia, I want to bring something to your attention right off the bat today. Today the Trump administration is releasing what we’re calling the Crimea Declaration,” Pompeo said.

“I want to show this committee that the United States does not, and will not recognize the Kremlin’s annexation of Crimea,” Pompeo continued. “There will be no relief of Crimea-related sanctions until Russia returns control of the Crimean peninsula to Ukraine.”

Pompeo also said NATO is an “indispensable” part of U.S. national defense and that President Trump’s demand members pay their fair share will only bolster the alliance against Russia.

Pompeo Faces Tough Questions on Russia, North Korea

By ABC News. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo fiercely defended the Trump administration’s foreign policy on Capitol Hill Wednesday, facing tough questions from Republican and Democratic senators about North Korea, Russia, Iran, and more.

But it was the divide in U.S. foreign policy between President Trump’s comments and his administration’s actions that underlaid the contentious hearing, with Pompeo at one time seeming to suggest that the administration’s actions mattered more than Trump’s words. He was quick to correct himself later, saying that he misspoke, but blasting what he called Democrats’ “glee” at his mistake and their efforts “to make a political point from that.”

“That’s silliness. This president runs this government. His statements are in fact U.S. policy,” Pompeo declared in a particularly heated exchange with the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Sen. Bob Menendez, D-New Jersey.

It was Pompeo’s first time in front of the committee since President Trump’s historic meetings with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and Russian leader Vladimir Putin – the outcomes of which are both now being called into question.
