Thanks Trump? China Pledges to Buy More American Products, Reduce Trade Deficit

By The Daily Wire. President Donald Trump drew major heat for announcing, months ago, that he would boost tariffs on goods coming into the United States from China, in an effort to re-balance what he considered an economically fatal trade deficit.

But after months of negotiations, it seems the President’s commitment ot the “art of the deal” has changed our relationship with China without many major changes on the part of the U.S., and though nothing is yet official, China says it will buy more American products to “even out” our trade partnership.

According to CNN, China has pledged to “significantly increase” “purchase of goods and services” from American companies, in order to “reduce the trade imbalance.” The news comes at the tail end of weeks of trade talks between American and Chinese officials that both parties have called “productive.” (Read more from “Thanks Trump? U.S. and China Call a Ceasefire in Trade Dispute

By CNN. After weeks of tensions, China and the United States have reached a ceasefire.

Both sides this weekend said they had agreed to not impose new tariffs on one another while talks continue, after reaching an initial agreement on trade.

In a joint statement on Saturday, the countries said China would “significantly increase” purchases of US goods and services to reduce their trade imbalance. This was a top demand of the Trump administration during two days of trade talks in Washington with Chinese officials.

“We’re putting the trade war on hold,” US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told “Fox News Sunday. “We have agreed to put the tariffs on hold while we try to execute the framework.” (Read more from “U.S. and China Call a Ceasefire in Trade Dispute” HERE)

DOJ Responds to Trump’s Demand for Review into Alleged Spying for ‘Political Purposes’

The Department of Justice responded to President Donald Trump’s Twitter message on Sunday, demanding an investigation into whether the FBI and DOJ infiltrated his campaign during the 2016 election for “political purposes.”

In a statement, DOJ spokesperson Sarah Isgur Flores said, “The Department has asked the Inspector General to expand the ongoing review of the FISA application process to include determining whether there was any impropriety or political motivation in how the FBI conducted its counterintelligence investigation of persons suspected of involvement with the Russian agents who interfered in the 2016 presidential election. As always, the IG will consult with the appropriate U.S. Attorney if there is any evidence of potential criminal conduct.”

School Shooter Targeted Certain Students

. . .As more details emerged about the shooting that left 10 people dead and 13 injured at the Houston-area school, the student who authorities said confessed to the attack was being held in isolation Saturday as officials identified the victims . . .

“We are gratified by the public comments made by other Santa Fe High School students that show Dimitri as we know him: a smart, quiet, sweet boy,” the family statement said. “While we remain mostly in the dark about the specifics of yesterday’s tragedy, what we have learned from media reports seems incompatible with the boy we love.”

One of Pagourtzis’ classmates who died in the attack, Shana Fisher, “had 4 months of problems from this boy,” her mother, Sadie Rodriguez, wrote in a private message to the Los Angeles Times on Facebook. “He kept making advances on her and she repeatedly told him no.”

Pagourtzis continued to get more aggressive, and she finally stood up to him and embarrassed him in class, Rodriguez said. “A week later he opens fire on everyone he didn’t like,” she wrote. “Shana being the first one.” Rodriguez didn’t say how she knew her daughter was the first victim. . .

After scrambling to escape the shooter’s blasts in the art room, Isabelle Van Ness, covered in dust from rounds hitting her classroom walls, could hear the shooter in a next-door classroom yelling, “Woo hoo!” while shooting, according to her mother, Deedra Van Ness. Everyone Is Freaking out over Man Who Showed up to Shooting Scene with His Flag and Gun

. . .During the inevitable gun debate that immediately went into play on social media, one man who showed up on the scene and stoked the debate to new heights for what he was wearing — and carrying.

The man who wasn’t yet identified said he was there to “Make America Great Again.” The fact that he was wearing a Trump hat, carrying the American flag, and had a handgun on his side was not lost on anyone.

A second man in the video was enraged by the flag waving Patriot, saying that while he supports the Second Amendment, it was the wrong move to show up with his gun out in the open.

Rush Calls Deep State Agent James Clapper a Liar over His Explanation of the FBI Informant in Trump’s Campaign

That’s what talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh is saying after Barack Obama’s director of national intelligence, James Clapper, claimed it was a “good thing” if the reports that the Obama administration had someone spying on the Trump campaign are true.

Clapper said in a CNN interview the Obama administration’s FBI “may have had someone who was talking to them in the campaign, but, you know, the focus here … is not on the campaign, per se, but what the Russians were doing. ”

[Rush responded:] “You know, here’s another thought. And this is how I know that the snake Clapper is lying. Clapper tells CNN ‘Oh, no, no, no, we weren’t interested in the Trump campaign, our spy. We think it was a good thing the FBI had a spy to look for pernicious activity from the Russians, the Russians tampering with our electoral process. It was a good thing they had a spy in that campaign, not to look at the Trump campaign, but to look at the Russians.’

“Mr. Clapper, then why didn’t you put a spy in the Hillary campaign? She was interacting with the Russians. She was rigging the DNC primary. She did hire a guy to write a phony opposition research with Russian agents on Trump. The Hillary campaign was intertwined with the Russians for months. Why didn’t you have a spy in her campaign, if it was the Russians you were really interested in? Why not look at how Hillary was working with them?”

Limbaugh’s conclusion: “But of course they weren’t looking for the Russians, because I think they’ve known from the get-go the Russians didn’t affect the outcome of this election. Remember, if Hillary had won, you’d a never heard about the Russians, other than whatever steps they took to destroy Trump, which I think they would have done. Even if Trump had lost, I think they would have made moves to further destroy this guy, to send the message to any other outsiders, ‘Don’t even think about trying this. Hamas Rioters Paid $100/Day to Attack Israel, Funding Came from Obama

. . .But in reality Israel has shown restraint at what were actually Hamas-incited protests and riots that involved the terrorist group paying Palestinians to participate, according to Daniel Greenfield of Front Page Mag, who exposed the absurdity of the media coverage with a biting opening paragraph.

“Hamas supporters in Gaza held the world’s first peaceful protest with hand grenades, pipe bombs, cleavers and guns. Ten explosive devices were peacefully detonated. There were outbursts of peaceful gunfire and over a dozen kites carrying firebombs were sent into Israel where they started 23 peaceful fires. And Israeli soldiers peacefully defended their country leaving multiple Hamas attackers at peace,” Greenfield wrote.

Greenfield noted that despite the media focus of the past few days, the Hamas-led protests and violent riots have actually been ongoing since late March, and offered proof obtained by a U.K. Telegraph reporter in April that Palestinians were being paid $100 per day by Hamas to take part, more if they suffered injuries or died.

That reporter discovered that merely participating in the protests earned $100, while being shot (whether with real or rubber bullets) garnered $200, severe injuries netted $500 and death warranted a $3,000 payment to the surviving family.

Considering an estimated 40,000-50,000 Gazans participated in the most recent protests and riots — which were really an effort to breach the barrier separating Gaza from Israel so Hamas terrorists could rush through and do their worst — that event likely cost Hamas millions of dollars. Police ID ‘Anti-Trump’ Shooter Who Stormed Trump Resort Set on Killing Spree

By Bizpac Review. An active shooter yelling “anti-Trump” statements at President Trump’s Florida golf resort was arrested after exchanging gunfire with police . . .

The man was found “actively shooting” in the lobby of Trump National Doral Miami resort, Miami-Dade Police Director Juan Perez said at a news conference.

Police responded to an emergency call about an active shooter around 1:30 a.m, Eastern time, and immediately exchanged fire with Oddi who “entered the resort, draped an America flag over the counter, and began spraying bullets into the lobby,” according to The Daily Caller.

“This guy was ready for war. He was waiting for our officers to come in,” Perez told local radio station 610 WIOD.

Man Arrested After Exchanging Fire with Cops at Trump Resort

Police responding overnight to a call of an active shooter at President Trump’s golf resort in Doral, Florida, engaged in a shootout with a man and ended up taking him into custody with gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Police Director Juan Perez said at a news conference early Friday morning that the man was found “actively shooting” in the lobby of Trump National Doral Miami resort, making anti-Trump statements.

At a press conference later in the morning, police identified the man in custody as Jonathan Oddi, 42, of Doral.

Air Force Inexplicably Caves to PC Pressure over Joke About Killing Terrorists

The U.S. Air Force issued an apology after linking a Taliban attack to the viral Yanny vs. Laurel debate.

The main Air Force Twitter account posted a message Thursday morning referring to the U.S. military using A-10 jets targeting Taliban fighters in response to an attack on the Afghan city of Farah. . .

While the debate over the viral audio clip that says either “Yanny” or “Laurel” has taken over the internet, with even the White House getting in on the fun, many criticized the Air Force for seeming to make light of the violent attack in Afghanistan.

Afghan and American air forces launched an attack on Tuesday against Taliban insurgents who were trying to take over the city of Farah. In a show of force to warn Taliban forces, U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II jets flew overhead and MQ-9 Reaper drones conducted strikes, Military Times reported.

Afghan A-29 light-attack aircraft and Mi-17 helicopters “conducted the majority of strikes,” Army Lt. Col. Martin O’Donnell told Military Times.

Doctors Accused of Forcing Terminally Ill into Assisted Suicide

A terminal ill man who needs around-the-clock care filed a lawsuit claiming doctors are pressuring him to go home or die in medically assisted death. . .

[Roger] Foley [of Canada] suffers from an incurable brain disorder called cerebellar ataxia, a condition which limits his ability to move his arms and legs and leaves him unable to perform mundane tasks such as feeding himself and lifting himself up. . .

According to the February 14 lawsuit, Foley was given two options on how to move forward with his medical care: ‘forced discharge’ from the hospital ‘to work with contracted agencies that have failed him’ or medically assisted death.

He said there were two instances in which he received horrible home care providers and even contemplated suicide after one provider allegedly left him so sick he needed to be hospitalized.

‘I have been given the wrong medication,’ he claimed. ‘I have been provided food where I got food poisoning, I’ve had workers fall asleep in my living room, burners and appliances constantly left on, a fire, and I have been injured during exercises and transfers. Plane Explodes into Ball of Flames

A Boeing 737 plane has crashed moments after taking off from Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport – just one day after more than a third of its fleet were grounded over safety concerns.

At least 100 are dead after the internal Cubana de Aviacion flight, which was carrying 113 passengers and crew, including five children, crashed into a yuca field near a high school, in the Santiago de las Vegas neighborhood, on Friday.

Just four survivors were recovered and taken to hospital in critical condition, according to Cuban media. One has since died in hospital.

Photos of the scene show fire crews attempting to put out the still smoking wreckage of the aircraft which was devastated in the crash. Debris was left scattered across the surrounding area after the explosion. . .

The flight was leased by airline Cubana from a small Mexican airline called Damojh or Global, Cuban state media said. Holguin has some of the island’s most pristine beaches, and attracts tourists.
