Noem: America’s Enemies Intentionally Bring Fentanyl To U.S. ‘To Kill Americans’

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said during an interview over the weekend that America’s enemies are flooding the country’s streets with fentanyl in — part because they are trying to kill Americans.

Noem made the remarks during a Sunday interview on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” with Margaret Brennan while talking about President Donald Trump’s efforts to stop the flow of drugs coming into the U.S.

She said that the Trump’s tariffs on Canada and Mexico were really about fentanyl, not just the economy.

“I think the president obviously wants a strong economy, obviously wants better trade deals as well,” she said. “But this is about fentanyl and what we can do to stop the cartels from partnering with Chinese officials, laundering money and bringing a poison into our country that is specifically designed to kill the next generation.”

“I think a lot of people don’t understand the strategy of these enemies of the United States and what they’re utilizing,” she continued. “They are bringing this in, not just to make money. They’re bringing it in here to kill Americans. And it’s time that we stand up for the people that live here and make sure that we’re stopping this war against our children.”

U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighters Forced to Intercept 2 Aircraft That Invaded Mar-a-Lago Airspace

Air Force F-16 fighter jets scrambled Sunday to intercept aircraft that entered the airspace over President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida — the second time that’s happened in 48 hours, NORAD says.

A civilian aircraft flew into the no-fly zone over the property at around 1:15 p.m. Sunday, according to a statement.

The fighter jets fired flares to warn the pilots to move out of the area, the military said.

The aircraft was then escorted out of the area. (Read more from “U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighters Forced to Intercept 2 Aircraft That Invaded Mar-a-Lago Airspace” HERE)

Alleged 14-Year-Old Cop Killer Can’t Be Tried as Adult in NJ — Handing Him All Sorts of Perks: Expert

He’s accused of killing a Newark cop — but he won’t be tried in public and likely won’t even serve out a 20-year sentence if convicted.

That’s because the suspected triggerman is a 14-year-old boy — and in New Jersey, the courts won’t move kids of that age up to criminal court, no matter how heinous their crimes.

“The state statute requires somebody to be 15 years old to treat it as an adult case,” said Laura Sutnick, a criminal defense lawyer and president of the Bergen County Bar Association, to The Post on Sunday.

“But if you’re 14, you can’t be waived to adult court.”

One year in age may not seem like much, but it will make a world of difference for the unidentified teen, who’s been charged with murder for allegedly gunning down 26-year-old Detective Joseph Azcona with an automatic weapon Friday night on a Brick City street corner. JD Vance Calls Out Screaming Protesters for ‘Chasing’ His 3-Year-Old Daughter

Vice President J.D. Vance called out pro-Ukrainian protesters Saturday for screaming as they chased him down on a walk with his 3-year-old daughter, Mirabel.

“Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of ‘Slava Ukraini’ protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared,” Vance wrote on X.

Vance confronted the protesters in an interaction that was captured on video by WCPO 9. As Ukrainian flag-waving activists complained to the vice president that “people are dying,” he calmly and collectively spoke to their concerns about Russia and a hopeful end to the war.

“Russia certainly invaded Ukraine in 2022, but there needs to be a settlement,” Vance told the protesters as one woman began to shout over him. More protesters joined in as Vance explained that he was trying to be respectful, shouting that the vice president has “no integrity.”

COVID Booster Vaccine Reawakens World’s Deadliest Virus Inside Man’s Body

By Daily Mail. Doctors have revealed an extremely rare case that saw the Covid vaccine reawaken a deadly virus inside a man’s body.

The unnamed 47-year-old had been living with a dormant tuberculosis infection that was not causing symptoms when he received his booster shot in India.

Five days after vaccination he he began experiencing ‘severe constitutional symptoms’ including fever, fatigue and night sweats.

Doctors discovered that his immune system, now stronger from the vaccine, started attacking the TB infection too aggressively, causing inflammation and the flare-up of symptoms.

He was diagnosed with tuberculosis immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (TB-IRIS), marking the first known case linked to a Covid booster. (Read more from “COVID Booster Vaccine Reawakens World’s Deadliest Virus Inside Man’s Body” HERE)

Troops Booted Over COVID Vaccine Show Limited Interest in Rejoining

By The Military Times. Roughly 650 Marines and Army soldiers who were forced out of the military for refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine have so far expressed interest in returning to the force under an executive order from President Donald Trump, officials said this week.

The number represents about 8% of the roughly 8,200 troops who had been discharged. The total, officials say, confirms military leaders’ early view that many troops have moved on with their lives. They have been allowed to rejoin since 2023, and Trump’s offer of providing back pay may be a factor in spurring a bit more interest now.

The Army and Marine Corps have been sending out emails, texts and phone calls to service members discharged for refusing a pandemic-era order to get the vaccine. The Navy and the Air Force are planning to begin their efforts to contact service members, but are waiting for additional guidance. The totals would likely increase once their formal notices go out.

Officials stressed that the numbers are very preliminary because troops have only expressed interest in reenlisting and haven’t actually taken steps to formally do so. They will have to go through the enlistment procedure again, pass all required legal and moral standards and physical fitness requirements and agree to reenlist for at least two years.

Trump has argued that the vaccine mandate wrongly pushed troops out and suggested that many would return. In an executive order signed a week after he took office, Trump said that the mandate cost the military “some of our best people” and he vowed to “rehire every patriot who was fired from the military with … backpay.” (Read more from “Troops Booted Over COVID Vaccine Show Limited Interest in Rejoining” HERE)

Court: Democrat Secretary Fontes Sidestepped Arizona Law When Drafting Election Rulebook

Arizona’s Democrat secretary of state failed to comply with existing law when creating the state’s election rulebook, an Arizona court ruled on Thursday.

Writing on behalf of a three-judge panel on the Arizona Court of Appeals, Judge Lacey Gard ruled that Secretary of State Adrian Fontes “did not substantially comply” with the Arizona Administrative Procedure Act’s (APA) rulemaking procedures when finalizing the 2023 Election Procedures Manual (EPM). In Arizona, the EPM provides rules to election officials relating to mail ballots, voter registration, and other election-related matters.

According to Gard, Fontes’ illegal act pertains to the EPM’s public comment period.

In late July 2023, the Democrat secretary “published a 259-page draft EPM, allowing public comment for a period of fifteen days.” As unanimously determined by the three-judge panel, however, that is “only half the time the APA requires.”

“We conclude that the 2023 EPM was subject to the rulemaking procedure under the APA and that the Secretary did not substantially comply with the APA’s rulemaking process in promulgating the EPM,” Gard wrote. Lawmakers Override Veto on Law Requiring Ultrasound for Pill Abortions

Women trying to get the abortion pill in Wyoming now need to undergo an ultrasound after state lawmakers overrode the governor’s earlier veto of a bill requiring the procedure.

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon (R) vetoed the “Chemical abortions-ultrasound requirement” bill earlier this week citing concerns over its invasive nature and the bill’s lack of exceptions for victims of rape or incest.

“It creates the prospect of an unnecessary, intimate, and invasive procedure (transvaginal ultrasound) which subjects women to an uncomfortable and potentially traumatic experience in what may already be a very overwhelming situation,” Gordon wrote in a letter to Wyoming House Speaker Chip Neiman (R), the bill’s main sponsor.

Under the bill, women seeking to end a pregnancy using abortion medication need to receive a transvaginal ultrasound at least 48 hours before receiving the necessary pills.

During the procedure, a health care provider inserts a device called a transducer into the vagina to record images of the cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. (Read more from “Lawmakers Override Veto on Law Requiring Ultrasound for Pill Abortions” HERE)

Russia Rejects Ukraine Ceasefire, Launches Massive Bombing Campaign

Russia said on Thursday that a partial or temporary ceasefire in its war on Ukraine would be “unacceptable,” and only a comprehensive “final settlement” will do.

The Russians punctuated this argument by launching a massive attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure with missiles and drones. Russia also appears to be on the verge of ejecting Ukrainian forces from Kursk, the territory counter-invaded by the Ukrainians in August 2024.

The Russians curtly rejected a French-British proposal for a one-month ceasefire “in the air, at sea, and on energy infrastructure,” to be backed up by a “coalition of the willing” that would include at least 20 member nations, according to British officials.

“Firm agreements on a final settlement are necessary. Without all this, any respite or regrouping is absolutely unacceptable, as it will lead to exactly the opposite result,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters on Thursday.

“In reality, we are dealing with an open desire to achieve a respite at any cost for the Kyiv regime in its death throes, for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and to prevent the collapse of the front,” she said of the UK-France temporary ceasefire plan. ABC Shuts Down Pro-Leftist Polling Site That Claimed Harris Had Better Chance Than Trump

When ABC News announced it was shutting down the pollster FiveThirtyEight, it called to mind the site’s claim that former Vice President Kamala Harris stood a better chance than now-President Donald Trump in November’s election. The shutdown shows legacy media, which have long inaccurately boosted perceived support for Democrats, are finally losing control.

Just before the election, FiveThirtyEight claimed Harris stood a 50 percent chance of winning to Trump’s 49 percent. It said, “Polls from more frequently polled, but less well-regarded, firms had shown a more Trump-leaning race” but shifted toward Harris before the election.

FiveThirtyEight claimed Trump stood just a 29 percent chance of winning the national popular vote against Harris’ 71 percent. It also claimed Trump had a meager 1 percent chance of winning in a “landslide” of more than 350 electoral votes.

These predictions could hardly be further from the truth. While Trump didn’t technically win a “landslide” by the polling site’s standards, he won the electoral college 312-226 — winning all seven swing states, flipping six that went for former President Joe Biden in 2020. He also won the national popular vote with 49.9 percent to Harris’ 48.4 percent, becoming the first Republican president to win the popular vote in 20 years.

Nate Silver, the founder and former lead editor of FiveThirtyEight, even suggested Harris could turn Florida blue — giving her a 21 percent chance of winning the state. “A one-in-five chance isn’t bad, but it isn’t great either.” When another X user said a Trump would win Florida by a “minimum” of eight points, Silver said to “stop huffing the Twitter vibes.”
