Former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino Sears Big Gov’t To A Crisp In Scalding Hot Facebook Post

Photo Credit: IJ Review Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service Agent and current candidate for Maryland’s 6th Congressional seat, posted a scathing rebuke of liberalism and the Obama Administration to his Facebook wall on Monday:

We are watching, in real time, the collapse of the big-government model on which the house of liberalism has been built. The only question remaining is, when will those on the far left accept the results, rather than the intentions of the big government model?

President Obama ran on the idea that a big government can solve big problems, yet this model has not only not solved any of our big problems, but it has created new ones, while aggravating old ones created by prior administrations.

Then he backed it up with some powerful evidence…

New EPA Regs Issued Under Obama Are 38 Times as Long as Bible

Photo Credit: CNS News Since President Barack Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued 2,827 new final regulations, equaling 24,915 pages in the Federal Register, totaling approximately 24,915,000 words.

The Gutenberg Bible is only 1,282 pages and 646,128 words. Thus, the new EPA regulations issued by the Obama Administration contain 19 times as many pages as the Bible and 38 times as many words.

The Obama EPA regulations have 22 times as many words as the entire Harry Potter series, which includes seven books with 1,084,170 words. They have 5,484 times as many words as the U.S. Constitution, which has 4,543 words, including the signatures; and 17,088 times as many words as the Declaration of Independence, which has 1,458 words including signatures.

Using the Regulations.gov website and the Federal Register itself, CNSNews.com found 2,827 distinct rules published by the EPA since January 2009 covering, among other things, greenhouse gases, air quality, emissions and hazardous substances.

The Federal Register publishes documents, including proposed rules, notices, interim rules, corrections, drafts of final rules and final rules. The CNSNews.com tabulation included only final rules from the EPA.

8.0-Magnitude Earthquake Causes Tsunami Warning For Alaskan Islands

An 8.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Aleutian Arc of islands, sometimes called the Rat Islands, between Russia and Alaska at 4:53:10 p.m. EDT (11:53 a.m. local time) on Monday.

The quake created a tsunami warning for the coastal regions of Alaska from Nikolski to Attu.

What was originally a 7.1-magnitude earthquake was upgraded to 8.0. It seems to be too deep to pose a threat to Hawaii, according to the National Weather Service. The latest bulletin indicates that other areas of the U.S. and Canadian Pacific coasts would not be affected.

The alert says: “No tsunami threat exists for other coastal areas in the Pacific, although some other areas may experience small nondestructive sea-level changes lasting up to several hours.”

By The Extinction Protocol.

ALASKA – Sharply increased seismic activity and volcanic eruptions in the Aleutian Islands and the far western Brooks Range are being investigated by scientists. The Alaska Volcano Observatory says the activity over the past few months is the most seen by the station in 26 years. On the Alaska Volcano Observatory three volcanoes are classified with a yellow alert level—signifying signs of elevated unrest above known background levels—and three are at an orange alert level—heightened unrest with increased likelihood of eruption. Orange is the second-highest alert level after red signifying an eruption that is imminent or underway.

Flashback: The Dog Also Ate The EPA’s E-mails Back In 2001(+video)

Photo Credit: IJ Review By Kevin Boyd.

With the IRS email controversy in the news, this is as good a time as any to remind our readers that the IRS isn’t the only government agency that has deleted lost e-mails.

Back when the Bill Clinton administration was leaving town in 2001, some emails that the Landmark Legal Foundation was seeking from the EPA magically disappeared.

Sheryl Attkisson takes us down memory lane:

According to an Associated Press report, a federal judge has held the EPA in contempt for destroying computer files sought after by a conservative group: Landmark Legal Foundation. […]

Trey Gowdy Goes Off on IRS Commish for Claiming No Criminal Actions at IRS: ‘You Don’t Even Know What Statutes Are at Play’

By Pete Kasperowicz.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) late Monday criticized IRS Commissioner John Koskinen for claiming there’s no evidence of criminal misconduct at the IRS over the targeting scandal, even though he hasn’t bothered to examine the criminal code.

“You have already said multiple times today that there was no evidence that you found of any criminal wrongdoing,” Gowdy said. “I want you to tell me what criminal statutes you’ve evaluated.”

“I have not looked at any,” Koskinen replied.

“Well then how can you possibly tell our fellow citizens that there’s not criminal wrongdoing if you don’t even know what statutes to look at?” Gowdy shot back.

Koskinen said several times that he’s seen no evidence that anyone consciously acted inappropriately, but Gowdy said that’s not the same as trying to examine whether a crime was committed.

Guess Who Obamacare Helps (While Regular People Get Screwed)

Photo Credit: REUTERS / Kevin LamarqueObamacare is looking better than ever for the biggest insurance companies, and they’re prioritizing boosted earnings over expanding Obamacare coverage, according to a memo from Moody’s Investor Service.

Moody’s is optimistic about insurers’ credit ratings, noting that more insurers are expected to join Obamacare exchanges or offer more plans — and fewer enrollees for each insurer is likely to be beneficial, given early reports that Obamacare customers’ are sicker and costlier to insure than other insurance pools.

“Since the policy-buying population has an unknown medical status and potentially unfavorable risk characteristics, less membership, and therefore less risk, is credit positive,” Moody’s concluded.

And insurers aren’t prioritizing actually expanding health coverage to many more people, according to the report. Large insurers are boosting their premiums after generally losing money or breaking even with their first year of customers, according to the report.

“The premium increases show that insurers have chosen to protect earnings margins rather than push membership growth,” Moody’s wrote.

40 Million Immigrants Now Live in USA!

Photo Credit: Shutterstock / JanetAlright, here are the facts: The United States has over 40 million immigrants and the U.S. Census Bureau projected that there will be no single racial or ethnic group will constitute a majority of children under 18 and in three decades, no single ethnic group will be a majority in the country.

And of the American population, there are almost 52 million Hispanics/Latinos in America and the Hispanic/Latino community is the fastest growing minority group in the United States. As such, the Latino influence in the United States is undeniable — Latinos buy 25 percent of all movie tickets in the United States and The NPD Group found that Latinos will be changing food culture in America and according to the Selig Center for Economic Growth, the purchasing power of Hispanics in 2012 was $1.2 trillion.

Church Giving Away Assault Rifles In The Name Of Jesus

Photo Credit: SvadilfariA church in Missouri has resorted to some unconventional means to bring people into their establishment. In an attempt to get more people to follow Christ, they are giving away AR-15′s.

Ignite Church, in Joplin, MO, announced on their Facebook page that they would be raffling off two Black Rain AR-15′s for Father’s Day. Their aim was to connect with more men ages 18-35 in the local area, and it sure did work.

Ignite Church’s pastor, Heath Mooneyham, is a bit of an unconventional guy himself. He sports a mohawk and recently made the switch to playing loud rock music during church services to draw in a younger crowd. Mooneyham calls the lack of young men who attend church these days, “the biggest black hole in our society”. He says of his church’s gun raffle:

“If we can get more people to follow Jesus, I’ll give away 1,000 guns. I don’t care.”

Iraq Inks Deal to Pave Way for US Return

Photo Credit: Getty ImageBy Kristina Wong and Justin Sink.

The Obama administration secured two diplomatic concessions from Iraq’s government on Monday: an immunity deal for U.S. special operations forces and a commitment from Iraq’s prime minister to begin forming a new government.

The immunity agreement paves the way for 300 special operations forces to begin training and advising Iraq’s army, which has repeatedly folded in the face of a charge by the radical Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) that has taken over a territory stretching across both countries.

The president has said the soldiers will assist Iraqi forces staring down the rapidly advancing Sunni Muslim group, which over the weekend captured a pair of pivotal border crossings with Syria and Jordan.
Officials say the advisers will also play a crucial role in improving American intelligence in the region, were the president to decide at some point to authorize military action.

Separately, Secretary of State John Kerry announced that Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki had agreed Monday to begin the process of forming a new national government by July 1.

By Andrew Tilghman.

The U.S. and Iraqi government have hammered out a controversial deal granting U.S. troops some immunity from prosecution in the fledgling Iraqi court system, clearing the way for up to 300 special operators to begin deploying to Iraq, a defense official said Monday.

President Obama last week said he would send up to 300 military advisers into Iraq to collect intelligence and assist the Iraqi security forces in their fight against extremist militias aligned with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL, an al-Qaida offshoot.

But those deployment plans stalled temporarily amid negotiations between Washington and Baghdad over who gets legal jurisdiction in the event of alleged misconduct by a U.S. service member, a defense official said.

The U.S. troops deploying to Iraq will be armed and authorized to use lethal force in self-defense. U.S. officials want to ensure that any alleged misconduct by American service members would be handled under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

One in Four Americans Has No Emergency Savings

Photo Credit: AFPTwenty-six percent of Americans have no emergency savings, according to a report by Bankrate.com. Over the past four years, there has been little to no progress when it comes to Americans’ saving capacity.

Even those who manage to save aren’t putting away enough. As many as two-thirds of people in the U.S. don’t have the recommended six months of expenses saved. The percentage of people with savings enough to cover at least three months shrank to 40 % in 2014, compared with 45%, a year earlier.

Despite Americans being more secure in their jobs and more comfortable with their debt since the recession ended, their savings capacity remains weak even among those with highest-income household. Only 46% of those with annual income of $75,000 or above have enough savings to cover six months of expenses.
