Why Is a Government Website Encouraging Underage Sex?

A website promoted by the government health system in Scotland touted as a “safe space” for teens to learn about sex is condoning underage sexual relationships.

The age of consent in the United Kingdom is 16, yet the website advised a 14-year-old girl considering a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy that if the act was consensual, it was “unlikely to cause a problem,” according to the U.K.’s Christian Institute.

The organization called for an urgent review of the website, which technically is encouraging statutory rape. . .

The website’s writers also responded to a 15-year-old who “asked about having sex with an 18-year-old.”

“If you become sexually intimate together then (the 18-year-old) is breaking the law, although as long as you consent and are not being pressured into anything then it is unlikely anything will be pursued,” the site said. Biased Journalism Is Gutting the #Metoo Movement

By National Review. . .It was the birth of a movement, #MeToo, which at its worst has been captured by those who insist we must believe every woman who claims to have been assaulted. For centuries, these advocates say, women’s stories have been disbelieved, and now it’s time to tip the balance of power and believe them all, no matter what. . .

When Christine Blasey Ford came forward in 2018 with the claim that a teenaged Brett Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her, progressives revealed their unwillingness to accept a #MeToo movement that didn’t “believe all women.” Her story deserved investigation, but when all was said and done, it was problematic in several key aspects, among them that Ford couldn’t produce anyone to affirm she and Kavanaugh had ever met, that she had told no one about the alleged assault for decades, and that she later gave conflicting accounts of what she believed had happened. . .

By publicizing accusations that lacked the most basic aspects needed for credibility, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee jettisoned their responsibility to seek the truth and instead used vulnerable women as pawns in an effort to tarnish a political enemy. In doing so, they made it less likely that subsequent women who publicized their credible accusations would be believed.

A year and a half later, Democrats and the media are again undermining the principles of #MeToo, this time by ignoring and downplaying sexual-assault allegations against Joe Biden. While Biden himself has said in the past that we must believe every woman who alleges assault, he has since changed his tune. Now, he and his prominent backers — including one of Kavanaugh’s most vigorous critics, #MeToo celebrity advocate Alyssa Milano — have begun singing the praises of due process. ‘New York Times’ Allowed Biden Team to Edit Story on Sexual Assault Allegation

The New York Times apparently gave in to pressure from the Biden campaign to edit a story that ran over the weekend detailing the sexual assault allegations by Tara Reade against then-Senator Biden in 1993.

The story, which ran Easter Sunday on page A20 of the front section, originally said, “The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.” That sentence was deleted, as was a tweet saying the same thing, and the sentence, “The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden.”

Executive Editor Dean Baquet gave a curious defense of the edits.

Washington Examiner:

“Even though a lot of us, including me, had looked at it before the story went into the paper, I think that the campaign thought that the phrasing was awkward and made it look like there were other instances in which he had been accused of sexual misconduct,” he explained. “And that’s not what the sentence was intended to say.”

He added, “We didn’t think it was a factual mistake. I thought it was an awkward phrasing issue that could be read different ways and that it wasn’t something factual we were correcting. So I didn’t think that was necessary [to explain].”

Man Jailed for Breaking Quarantine to Visit Girlfriend

An Australian man has been arrested after repeatedly sneaking out of a Perth hotel room to visit his girlfriend while under mandated quarantine, a report said.

Jonathan David, 35, pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to comply with a direction in a Perth court on Wednesday after a judge called him “breathtakingly arrogant,” according to Perth Now.

David was told to quarantine at a Travelodge Hotel for 14 days. Instead, he snuck out of the building and hopped on a train on April 4 and 5, Perth’s WAToday reported.

He allegedly left the building on multiple occasions to visit his girlfriend and buy food. (Read more from “Man Jailed for Breaking Quarantine to Visit Girlfriend” HERE)

Woman Tests Positive for Coronavirus but She Hasn’t Left Her House for Three Weeks

A Charlotte woman is reported to have contracted COVID-19, even though she has not left her house in three weeks. Given that the virus is transmitted through human contact, the situation poses quite the conundrum. . .

“I’m absolutely terrified,” Rachel Brummert told MSN. “This is the sickest I’ve ever been, and it’s the most scared I’ve ever been. From what I’m hearing about ventilators, it’s scary stuff. I’m really hoping I can wait this out at home.”

Brummert is a high-risk patient as she already has an autoimmune disorder. That’s why she made sure to listen to the experts and stay at home. Brummert indicated that she hadn’t left her house once in three weeks. . .

The only people Brummert had come in contact with were the pharmacist, her husband, who is temporarily living in a separate room, and a woman who volunteered to drop off groceries. Unfortunately, that woman later tested positive for COVID-19. . .

Brummert also insists that she wears gloves when having any contact with the outside world such as getting her mail. In general, however, she avoids all external contact and won’t even order take-out meals. (Read more from “Woman Tests Positive for Coronavirus but She Hasn’t Left Her House for Three Weeks” HERE)

Doctor Jailed for Killing Baby Who ‘Burst out Crying’ During Abortion

An obstetrician has been sentenced to three years and six months in prison for killing a baby who “burst out crying” during abortion procedures.

The Seoul Central District Court on Friday convicted the doctor, 65, surnamed Yun, of killing a 34-week-old baby and suspended Yun’s medical license for three years.

“Medical staff who participated in the operation have consistently said they heard the baby crying,” a three-judge panel of the court said in a statement. “It is clear that the doctor killed the baby, who was born alive.” (Read more from “Doctor Jailed for Killing Baby Who ‘Burst out Crying’ During Abortion” HERE)

Muslim Stabs, Murders Three Women in Tennessee at Truck Stop

Idris Abdus-Salaam, 33, a truck driver from Durham, North Carolina, on Tuesday pulled into the Pilot Travel Center on Strawberry Plains Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee, got out of his truck, pulled out a knife, and went on a stabbing spree. He stabbed three women to death and injured a fourth. When confronted by police, Abdus-Salaam refused to drop his weapon and was shot dead. According to Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) spokeswoman Leslie Earhart, authorities are still trying to determine his motive. But will they miss an obvious clue that is right in front of their faces?

The three women Abdus-Salaam killed were all employees of the Pilot Travel Center. The fourth victim, who is in the hospital fighting to recover from the wounds Abdus-Salaam gave her, was a customer. If Abdus-Salaam knew any of them personally, the fact has not been reported. It may emerge that he did, but as of this writing, this looks like a random act of violence.

Predictably, investigators are pursuing the possibility that Abdus-Salaam was mentally ill. In this, they are following the lead of numerous authorities in the U.S. and Europe, who have ascribed incidents in which Muslims behaved violently to mental illness, often ignoring their jihad statements in order to do so. According to news reports, investigators found a notebook in his truck containing writings that suggested he was mentally ill, but none of these writings were released. . .

However, the Knoxville News Sentinel reported that Walidah Abdus-Salaam said that her son was “a practicing Muslim,” although “his loved ones had no reason to believe he had become radicalized by any sort of religious fanaticism.” (Read more from “Muslim Stabs, Murders Three Women in Tennessee at Truck Stop” HERE)

Registered Nurse Threatens to Deny Trump Supporter Coronavirus Treatment

A self-proclaimed registered nurse took to Twitter to suggest that she would not give someone emergency medical treatment for coronavirus if he was a Trump supporter.

The nurse was responding to a man called George S. Martan who posted a photo of himself wearing a face mask with ‘Trump 2020’ embroidered onto it.

“My wife sewed this face mask today to protect me from the Wuhan Virus and show support for President Trump,” commented the man.

“I’ll see you in ER. Please wear your mask so when we have to decide who gets the vent, it’ll be easier. Thanks,” responded Erika Waters, who describes herself as a registered nurse practitioner in her bio. . .

She immediately faced the wrath of other Twitter users, including one who pointed out, “Medical homicide via negligence is the third leading cause of death in the United States.”

Evolutionists Face Another Massive Problem: DNA Discovered in Dino Bones

A microscopic look at dinosaur cartilage from roughly 75 million years ago has turned up a cluster of exquisitely-preserved cells, and they just might contain something rather familiar.

Dusting off the skulls of two juvenile duck-billed dinosaurs (Hypacrosaurus stebingeri), shelved after their discovery in the 1980s, researchers noticed a bunch of tiny circular structures at the back – some linked together, others standing apart, all of them frozen in time.

Looking closer, several of these circles contained a dark material reminiscent of a nucleus, and others held tangled coils resembling chromosomes. . .

The half-life of this precious organic information has been calculated at about 521 years, so even under the best conditions, scientists predict it would only take about 5.3 millions years before the strands were completely unreadable.

Duck-billed dinosaurs were alive in Montana roughly 75 million years ago, which is 15 times longer than that; if their DNA is still around today, it would be astonishing. (Read more from “Evolutionists Face Another Massive Problem: DNA Discovered in Dino Bones” HERE)

Teen Charged After Allegedly Fatally Pushing Marine Veteran in Front of Train

An 18-year-old man accused of fatally pushing a Marine veteran in front of a train in Chicago is now facing first-degree murder charges.

Police arrested Ryan Munn Friday night and charged him with first-degree murder for allegedly pushing Mamadou Balde, 29, in front of a CTA Red Line train on Tuesday, WGN reported.

Munn was identified by witnesses as he “punched and pushed” Balde into the passing train, according to the police report. . .

Surveillance video reportedly showed Balde walking away from the squabble when one of the three men ran up to him and pushed him off the platform into a moving train, killing him instantly.

Balde, who served for two tours in Afghanistan, was found dead by the time the police arrived at the CTA Red Line station. (Read more from “Teen Charged After Allegedly Fatally Pushing Veteran in Front of Train” HERE)
