Kamala Harris’s Ancestors Owned Slaves, Her Father Says

By Washington Free Beacon. Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) is the descendant of an Irishman who owned a slave plantation in Jamaica, according to her father’s lengthy ancestral summary of his side of the family.

Donald Harris, a Stanford University economics professor, revealed in 2018 that his grandmother was a descendant of Hamilton Brown, the namesake of Brown’s Town in northern Jamaica.

“My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town),” he wrote in a post for Jamaica Global.

Hamilton Brown built the town’s local Anglican Church, which is where Prof. Harris says his grandfather is buried. It is also where he himself was baptized and confirmed.

A research archive of Jamaican records indicate that at one point in 1817, Hamilton Brown owned scores of slaves. The majority were brought in from Africa, though he also owned many Creole slaves. (Read more from “Kamala Harris’s Ancestors Owned Slaves, Her Father Says” HERE)

Liberal Donors’ Dream Agenda Taking Form in 2020 Campaigns

By Washington Free Beacon. . .The idea of race-based government reparations—a proposal opposed by both Sanders and former president Barack Obama—is now being embraced by 2020 frontrunners Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren.

Harris, asked during an interview last week whether she supports “some form of reparations for black people,” said she did.

“We have to be honest that people in this country do not start from the same place or have access to the same opportunities,” Harris said. “I’m serious about taking an approach that would change policies and structures and make real investments in black communities.” (Read more from “Liberal Donors’ Dream Agenda Taking Form in 2020 Campaigns” HERE)

New Epstein Accuser: Here’s How He Lured Me in When I Was Just 14 Years Old

. . .”Jennifer Araoz says she was 14 years old when a young woman approached her outside her New York City high school in the fall of 2001,” NBC News reports. “The woman was friendly and curious, asking Araoz personal questions about her family, her upbringing, their finances. Soon she began talking to Araoz about a man she knew who was kind and wealthy and lived nearby. His name, the woman said, was Jeffrey Epstein.”

“I was kind of a lost kid and she sensed it,” Araoz told NBC. The woman, whom she described as a brunette in her 20s, told her that Epstein just wanted to help people and was supporting her and her family. Araoz said the woman described him as “almost like a fatherly figure to her, which had meaning for me at that time because I was maybe longing for that.”

Convinced by the unnamed woman to visit Epstein’s Manhattan mansion, Araoz, now 32, said initially all he wanted to do was talk, the “recruiter” always accompanying them. Among the things they discussed were her dreams of becoming a Brodway actress and the tragic passing of her father, who died of AIDS two years before. She said he made sure to mention that he had donated money to AIDS charities and said he believed she could be a model. Each time she left, he handed her $300, she said.

Things grew sexual the first time she visited Epstein’s mansion without the woman, she said. The financier gave her a tour of the mansion that ended with a visit to what he described as his “favorite room in the house,” where a massage table rested on the floor and a painting of a nude young woman hung on the wall, she said.

“When he first brought me up there, he was like, ‘You know, you remind me so much of this woman in the painting,'” she said. He then asked her to strip down to her painties and give him a massage. “I felt almost obligated because of the money he was giving me,” she said. “I didn’t know if he would get angry or if I didn’t listen what the repercussions would have been. So I kind of just followed. I was so young, so I didn’t know better.” (Read more from “New Epstein Accuser: Here’s How He Lured Me in When I Was Just 14 Years Old” HERE)

Mike Rowe Chimes in on Nike’s Betsy Ross Play. His Take Is Spot On.

Former “Dirty Jobs” host is one of the most insightful conservatives out there. He has a keen understanding of American history, rugged individualism and limited government. He has the ability to call out people’s stupidity in the nicest, most sincere of ways.

Rowe took to Facebook to answer one of his followers’ questions: why on earth would Nike listen to washed up quarterback Colin Kaepernick? . . .

“I think Nike has the right to decorate their shoes with whatever flag they desire. I think Kaepernick has the right to offer marketing advice to any company that’ll take it. And I think you and I have the right to purchase whatever brand of tennis shoes we choose,” Rowe explained in a long Facebook post.

While every individual person and corporation has the right to make decisions, we don’t have to agree with them. And, as a consumer, we can choose to spend our money with businesses that support our conservative principles.

“In other words, I’m tempted on this day to remind you that there’s nothing inherently dangerous about a sneaker company currying favor with a woke athlete, or fellow citizens complaining about displays of patriotism and military might. On the other hand, I think Ronald Reagan was right when he said we’re always one generation away from losing the freedoms we currently enjoy,” Rowe said. “Along with the siren song of socialism, the persistent promise of ‘free’ stuff, and the breathtaking level of censorship on our college campuses, I worry about the growing belief among many that we can somehow improve our present by erasing our past; by toppling statues, outlawing ‘problematic’ symbols, or rewriting specific pieces of our history in ways that leave us feeling less offended.” (Read more from “Mike Rowe Chimes in on Nike’s Betsy Ross Play. Watch: Piers Morgan Repeatedly Calls Christian Doctor a ‘Bigot’ for Saying There Are Two Genders

. . .Dr. David Mackereth rejects transgender ideology and therefore refuses to use pronouns that conflict with an individual’s biological gender. Via the BBC:

Speaking outside the tribunal in Birmingham, Dr Mackereth, 56, said: “Last year I was training to do medical assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions and because of my Christian convictions I felt I couldn’t use pronouns – the words ‘he’ and ‘she’ – in an arbitrary manner.

“I said that in good conscience I couldn’t do that. The Department for Work and Pensions took some time to think about it and decided then that I wasn’t fit to do the job because of, I would say, my Christian convictions.

. . .

During his segment on “Good Morning Britain” Dr. Mackereth noted the dramatic cultural shift and said that he would consider it dishonest to use pronouns that do not reflect the reality of a person’s actual gender:

“Well, I think we have to start by recognizing how important pronouns are within our language. This is a complete change in the way we use them. And even if we leave the religious factor out, we have a problem that by changing the way we use pronouns, we completely change who we are as a society and who we are as people. And it doesn’t just affect a small group of people, it affects every single one of us. But as a Christian, I believe that to use pronouns in that way is dishonest, and I cannot do that in a good conscience.”

[This is when talk show host Piers Morgan decided to attack Dr. David Mackereth in the recently televised interview:]

Diane Douglas Says AZ Secretary of State, Others, Promote Pedophilia in Schools; Pedophiles “Rebrand” Themselves To Gain Acceptance

By KTAR. Former Arizona public schools chief Diane Douglas accused her successor and the secretary of state of promoting pedophilia.

In a Facebook post last week, Douglas said she believed the “medically & scientifically accurate” sex education guidelines that current Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman supports are an effort to “get kids to be accepting of sex with adults.”

Douglas also said two pride flags Secretary of State Katie Hobbs hung briefly at the Capitol building late last month were promoting pedophilia. . .

School districts and charter schools use the state’s sex education guidelines to set curriculum. Parents can have their children opt in or out of the lessons.

The Arizona State Board of Education decided to let existing guidelines stand after parents, state lawmakers and advocates spent hours voicing their opposition to the proposed changes. Douglas was among those who spoke out against the changes. (Read more from “Diane Douglas Says AZ Secretary of State, Others, Promote Pedophilia in Schools” HERE)

Pedophiles Believe They Should Be a Part of the LGBT Community

By Daily Caller. Pedophiles are rebranding themselves as “MAPs” or “Minor Attracted Persons” in an effort to gain acceptance and be included into the LGBT community, according to several reports from LGBT news sites.

According to Urban Dictionary, the blanket term MAP includes infantophiles (infants), pedophiles (pre-pubescent children), hebephiles (pubescent children), and ephebophiles (post-pubescent children). Some MAPs also refer to themselves as NOMAPs or “Non-Offending Minor Attracted Persons”.

These pedophiles seek to be a part of the LGBT+ community, even going so far as to make a “Pride” flag for Gay Pride Month.

Multiple Females Allegedly Push, Punch Former College Linebacker over His MAGA Hat. He Handles It like a Gentleman.

. . .As [Daniel] Weldon tells it, he ventured out to celebrate the Fourth of July with a friend and was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat — the iconic symbol of President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign. After he and his friend parted ways, the former football player said trouble found him.

“I’m at Pita Pit, and I get surrounded by like 7 guys and girls,” he wrote on Facebook. “They start yelling at me [because] of what I’m wearing (hat and pin). They were calling me names and saying how awful of a person I was (I’m saying back this is why we’re winning in 2020).” . . .

“The 4 or 5 girls start pushing me and punching,” Weldon added. “I’m a former college linebacker, so I can take a hit, and it’s not a big deal, right? But one snatched my hat and tried to throw it away while another ripped my pin and tossed it. The dudes they were with actually ended up deescalating the situation after the girls got violent and pulled them outside. I use the restroom and come back to one of them giving me the bird.”

And despite the physical attacks he said he endured, Weldon told the outlet the only thing he did in response was grab his hat so it stayed on his head and pick his pin off the ground.

“My mama raised me right,” he told the College Fix. “I am not going to touch a girl.” (Read more from “Multiple Females Allegedly Push, Punch Former College Linebacker over His MAGA Hat. He Handles It like a Gentleman.” HERE)

Young Man Severely Burned After Saving 8-Year-Old from House Fire

A Washington man, who has been hospitalized with serious burns all over his body after he rushed into a burning home to save his 8-year-old niece, told reporters from his hospital bed that he would do it again.

Derrick Byrd, 20, of Aberdeen, which is about a two-hour drive from Seattle, told KOMO News, “I’d do it again, I really would.” . . .

Byrd said when the fire broke out he immediately tried to help his sister get her three young children out of the home through the second-floor window. . .

Byrd told the station he caught his 6-year-old nephew and his sister’s baby but her 8-year-old daughter, Mercedes, was too afraid to jump. . .

“She was screaming my name,” Byrd told the station. “So, I wasn’t just going to let her sit there. I wasn’t going to let my niece die.” (Read more from “Young Man Severely Burned After Saving 8-Year-Old from House Fire” HERE)

Fire Kills Baby, Injures 5 Children, While Mothers Partied at Club

An early morning fire on Sunday killed an eight-month-old baby and injured five small children in Tennessee, while their mothers were at a nightclub, investigators said.

The mothers, ages 25 and 23, went to the club on Saturday night and police were trying to determine if a babysitter was hired to watch over their children while they were gone, according to a news release from the Metro Nashville Police Department. . .

Nashville firefighters responded to the Hickory Lake Apartments in Antioch, Tenn., about a 20-minute drive from Nashville, around 2 a.m. Sunday for an apartment fire, according to a news release from the Nashville Fire Department. . .

One witness said a 6-year-old boy ran out of the apartment screaming that his siblings were trapped inside the burning apartment, police said. Firefighters then rushed in and were able to rescue four of them, fire officials said. . .

The other four children hospitalized, who were in the apartment at the time of the fire, are siblings between six and one years old and are from Linden, Tenn., which is about an hour-and-a-half drive from Nashville, according to police. The conditions of the four other children were unclear. (Read more from “Fire Kills Baby, Injures 5 Children, While Mothers Partied at Club” HERE)

Starbucks Throws out Cops to Protect Others

A corporate spokesperson for Starbucks issued a full apology Sunday after news of an incident in one of the coffee chain’s Arizona outlets went viral.

On Saturday, The Daily Wire’s Ashe Schow reported that a barista at a Starbucks in Tempe, Arizona, asked several police officers, who get coffee at the shop regularly, to move out of a customer’s line of sight or leave the premesis, claiming that the mere presence of several law enforcement officials made the customer “not feel safe.” . . .

A second statement, posted to the Tempe Offices Assocation’s Facebook page, fleshed out the incident, adding that, “[t]he barista said that a customer ‘did not feel safe’ because of the police presence. The barista asked the officers to move out of the customer’s line of sight or to leave.” . . .

The Tempe Police Department later said, in a statement from their public relations department, that they’d reached out to Starbucks’s corporate office and that Starbucks was aware of the incident. On Sunday, according to NPR, a representative from the Tempe Police Department met with members of Starbucks’ leadership team and the company issued an official apology. . .

Regardless, Starbucks is now facing a nationwide backlash and possible boycott — and the apology may not be enough. After a group of black males was asked to leave a Seattle Starbucks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, because the manager on duty believed they were loitering, Starbucks shut down all of its U.S. retail outlets for a hours-long “sensitivity training” on the subject of race relations, (Read more from “Starbucks Throws out Cops to Protect Others” HERE)

High School Principal: ‘I Can’t Say the Holocaust Is a Factual, Historical Event’

There are some things that are just not up for debate. These aren’t political issues. What happened in Florida didn’t center on MAGA hats, flag burning, or the merits of tax cuts. We actually had a high school principal question whether the Holocaust was a “historical, factual” event. The Palm Beach Post has the story. A mother of a student tried for a year to reason with the school administration to, you know, actually teach kids about this terrible period in human history without the nonsense. She wondered how this was being taught at the school. The emails between the parent and Spanish River High School Principal William Latson were released and, well, it was not very good. Latson has since apologized for the wording in these emails, with the school district’s deputy schools superintendent saying that he was “counseled” on the exchanges, but not formally reprimanded. Now, Latson is not a Holocaust denier, but this nonsensical two sides position he took about this issue is a bit disturbing. There is no ‘two sides argument’ concerning the Holocaust (via Palm Beach Post):

The mother, who asked not to be named to protect her child’s identity, was stunned. Was the principal of one of Palm Beach County’s largest public schools suggesting that the Holocaust was a belief rather than an actual event?

Thinking Latson simply had expressed himself poorly, she wrote back, asking him to clarify his comments. “The Holocaust is a factual, historical event,” she wrote. “It is not a right or a belief.”

She expected a chastened response. Instead, the veteran principal doubled down.

“Not everyone believes the Holocaust happened,” he wrote, according to email records obtained by The Palm Beach Post through a public records request. “And you have your thoughts, but we are a public school and not all of our parents have the same beliefs.”
