Disney Cartoon Features Lesbian ‘Moms,’ Promotes Gay ‘Marriage’ to Preschoolers

An August 5 episode of the Disney Junior show Doc McStuffins, which is aimed at preschoolers, featured two lesbian “moms” as the heads of a family.

The show is about an aspiring doctor who “fixes” toys with help from friends.

In the August 5 episode “The Emergency Plan,” a lesbian couple and their children (they’re a family of dolls) have to flee their house because of an “earthquake.” The purpose of the episode is apparently teaching children the importance of having an emergency plan.

“With this episode, they see a family that looks like our family,” said Wanda Sykes, a lesbian actress who plays one of the same-sex partners. “We’re two moms… it’s going to be very exciting for [my kids] to see our family represented.” (Read more from “Disney Cartoon Features Lesbian ‘Moms,’ Promotes Gay ‘Marriage’ to Preschoolers” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Has a New Career Path

Hillary Clinton is considering becoming a Methodist minister or lay preacher, according to her pastor.

Bill Shillady, Clinton’s spiritual advisor and the author of a forthcoming book of the failed presidential candidate’s daily devotionals, told this to The Atlantic.

The Atlantic’s August 6 article, “Hillary Wants to Preach,” by Emma Green, explores Clinton’s apparent dream of being an ordained Methodist minister. The article speculates that Clinton has held back from discussing her faith too much in public recently, and this could be one of the reasons why she lost in 2016. It also notes that Clinton has been mocked or had her sincerity questioned when she speaks about religion.

“Last fall, the former Newsweek editor Kenneth Woodward revealed that Clinton told him in 1994 that she thought ‘all the time’ about becoming an ordained Methodist minister,” Green wrote. Woodward said Clinton asked him not to write about that for fear of looking too “pious.” (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Has a New Career Path” HERE)

‘Stress Reduction Policies’ Let Students Choose Their Own Grades

A professor at the University of Georgia created a “Stress Reduction Policy” that allows students who feel “unduly stressed” to choose their own grades, according to a Monday report.

Richard Watson incorporated the policy into two business courses, Campus Reform reported. The syllabi have since been updated to remove the policy, but an archived version of one is available.

“If you feel unduly stressed by a grade for any assessable [sic] material or the overall course, you can email the instructor indicating what grade you think is appropriate, and it will be so changed,” Watson said in a syllabus revised Friday for MIST 4610: Data Management. “No explanation is required, but it is requested that you consider waiting 24 hours before emailing the instructor.”

The “Stress Reduction Policy” also states that students may leave group work whenever they desire and choose to have their grade not reflect that segment of the course. All exams will be open-book. (Read more from “‘Stress Reduction Policies’ Let Students Choose Their Own Grades” HERE)

Airline Promo for ‘Gays’ Simply Doesn’t Click

A promotion for homosexual “pride” by the Dutch airline KLM doesn’t quite click . . .

States the airline: “It doesn’t matter who you click with. Happy #PrideAmsterdam.”

Oh, but readers noted that it DOES matter.

Said Ben Shapiro, “Um if you use the top two seatbelts and the plane has turbulence, you could die.”

David Betz said, “That’s a good illustration: as you can see two of those scenarios would result in someone’s death in the case of an accident.” (Read more from “Airline Promo for ‘Gays’ Simply Doesn’t Click” HERE)

Transgender Camp Offers Programs for Children as Young as 4

By Fox News. A summer camp for transgender and “gender fluid” children is taking in children as young as 4.

The camp seems like any other. Children arrive with a packed lunch, make friendship bracelets, sing songs and get silly. But each day at check-in, campers make a nametag with their pronoun of choice. Some opt for “she” or “he” while others choose “they” or something else.

And enrollment at the camp is booming. The number of children at the San Francisco Bay area camp has tripled to about 60 youngsters, from age 4 to 12, since it opened three summers ago, with kids coming from as far away as Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and even Africa. There is talk of opening branches of the camp across the country.

Experts say there are few camps like it. (Read more from “Transgender Camp Offers Programs for Children as Young as 4” HERE)

Transgender Day Camp for Children

By AP. The day camp in El Cerrito, in the San Francisco Bay Area, caters to transgender and “gender fluid’ children, ages 4 to 12. Experts say it’s one of the only camps of its kind in the world open to preschoolers.

Rainbow officials say the camp gives kids a safe, fun place to be themselves. The camp’s enrollment has tripled since it opened in 2015, and plans are underway to open a branch next summer in Colorado.

Gender experts say Rainbow’s rapid growth reflects what they’re seeing in gender clinics around the country: an increasing number of kids coming out as transgender at young ages. (Read more from “Transgender Day Camp for Children” HERE)

Arizona Woman Sentenced to Death for Locking Little Girl in a Box

Jurors sentenced an Arizona woman to death Monday for locking her 10-year-old cousin in a storage box, where the little girl suffocated.

Twenty-nine-year-old Phoenix woman Sammantha Allen was convicted in June of killing Ame Deal, who died in the summer of 2011 after being locked in a 31-by 14-by 12-inch footlocker overnight during triple digit temperatures.

Allen was punishing Deal for stealing a frozen popsicle from the refrigerator.

By the time someone went to let her out the next day, Deal was dead.

“Before Ame was locked in, however, police believe she was forced to spend two hours doing backbends and was forced by John Allen to maintain the torturous position, court records say. She also was forced to run in the yard despite the summer heat, records say,” AZ Central reported.

Then sweating profusely, she was locked in the footlocker, which had just two small holes near the handle.

Police said the girl’s clothes were soiled and there were marks on her right knee from “forceful contact” with the box’s lid, the Daily Mail reported.

“There never was intention on killing her,” Allen told police.

The woman said she thought her husband, John Allen, was going to release Deal.

This punishment had been used before by family members on Deal.

John Allen has also been charged with first-degree murder and child abuse. His trial is slated to begin on October 9.

Deal experienced child abuse throughout her short life.

Sammantha Allen’s mother, Cynthia Stoltzmann — who was Deal’s legal guardian — is serving a 24-year sentence for child abuse.

Deal’s grandmother, Judith Deal, is serving a 10-year-sentence for attempted child abuse.

The child’s father, David Deal, 29, who lived in the home, pleaded guilty to child abuse and is currently serving a 14-year-prison sentence.

Among other abusive acts, family members made Ame exercise in the heat, put hot sauce in her mouth, forced her to fall sleep in a shower stall, and had her eat dog feces when she failed to pick them up.

Shirley Deal, Ame’s mother, told AZfamily 2011 that she had hoped for years to see her daughter again.

“I’m not going to be done with it until something is done,” Deal said regarding Ame’s death. “They better stay in jail, they better be in prison for life. You’re messing with a baby, she was not a baby, but she was my baby.” (For more from the author of “Arizona Woman Sentenced to Death for Locking Little Girl in a Box” please click HERE)

Environmentalists Criticize Royal Family for Having Too Many Children

A San Francisco-based environmental organization is pushing population control as a means to battle climate change.

Having Kids — an organization that believes having smaller families is an effective strategy for protecting the environment — is openly admonishing leaders around the world for having too many babies.

During a recent trip to Poland, the British royal family was presented with a baby toy. Elated at the gift, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge and a mother of two, joked that she would need to have more children.

“We will just have to have more babies,” she said to her husband, Prince William.

Having Kids was not happy with the comment.

In a serious rebuttal, the organization issued an open-letter response to William and Kate.

“We read with interest your statements about having more children.”

“We wanted to offer a few thoughts for your consideration,” the group stated. “As you know and appreciate, the example the British Royal Family sets is extremely influential. Many studies also show that public figures serve as effective role models when it comes to family planning. Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues of sustainability and equity.”

The group went on to say that having more children could ultimately hurt the environment, resulting in severe flooding, deadlier heatwaves, more instances of malaria and wildlife extinctions.

It’s not the first time Having Kids has admonished world leaders for their personal family choices.

The organization previously hit President Donald Trump, a father of five, for “role modeling a completely unsustainable family of five children that are greedily consuming resources our children will need in the future.”

In response to a negative pushback against its open letter to the British royal family, Having Kids executive director Anne Green referred to much of the criticism as “eugenicist rants” from white racists and bloggers who are “creepily obsessed” with celebrity babies. Elderly Florida Homeowner Shoots, Kills Intruder

An elderly man in Florida shot and killed an unknown man who had broken into his home Saturday, authorities said.

The intruder, 33-year-old Shane DeShane, was shot when he entered the older man’s home and woke up him and his wife in Lakeland on Saturday night, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

DeShane died at the scene, WFLA reported. DeShane reportedly lived on the same street as the elderly couple. (Read more from “Elderly Florida Homeowner Shoots, Kills Intruder” HERE)

Federal Court Rules Unlicensed Pets Are ‘Contraband’ — Police Can Legally Kill Them

Nikita Smith filed a lawsuit against the Detroit Police Department after they killed her three dogs during a raid of her home in search of pot last year. On Wednesday, a judge absurdly ruled the dogs were considered “contraband,” noting that Smith had no legal basis to sue the police department for shooting and killing her dogs, due to the canines not having been properly licensed.

Subsequently, the federal civil rights lawsuit filed by Smith after a raid of her home by the Detroit police was dismissed by U.S. District Court Judge George Caram Steeh.

According to a report by Reason:

The ruling is the first time a federal court has considered the question of whether an unlicensed pet—in violation of city or state code—is protected property under the Fourth Amendment. Federal courts have established that pets are protected from unreasonable seizures (read: killing) by police, but the city of Detroit argued in a motion in March that Smith’s dogs, because they were unlicensed, were “contraband” for the purposes of the Fourth Amendment, meaning she had no legitimate property interest in them and therefore no basis to sue the officers or department.

Sadly, Judge Steeh agreed with the city’s ridiculous assertion that since the dogs were not licensed, they were not a legitimate property interest, thus giving Smith no legal basis to sue either the department or the individual officer/s that killed her dogs.

“The Court is aware that this conclusion may not sit well with dog owners and animal lovers in general,” the judge Steeh wrote in his opinion. “The reason for any unease stems from the fact that while pet owners consider their pets to be family members, the law considers pets to be property.”

“The requirements of the Michigan Dog Law and the Detroit City Code, including that all dogs be current with their rabies vaccines, exist to safeguard the public from dangerous animals,” he continued. “When a person owns a dog that is unlicensed, in the eyes of the law it is no different than owning any other type of illegal property or contraband. Without any legitimate possessory interest in the dogs, there can be no violation of the Fourth Amendment.”

Think about that for a moment, the judge is legally equating owning an unlicensed dog, with “illegal property or contraband.”

So, does someone owning an unlicensed car give you no Fourth Amendment protections over it, and does it constitute illegal property or contraband simply because it isn’t licensed with the city/state?

Does government somehow have some magical authority to say that if you don’t license your property as they have dictated, then your property is illicit and you have no constitutional protections over it?

Steeh’s opinion went on to reason that since there was no Fourth Amendment violation, then there is no legal basis for a civil rights claim against the city. Additionally, Steeh ruled that even if the dogs had been recognized as her property, the animals presented an imminent threat to police, thus the suit would have been dismissed anyway.

Much in line with the brutal reality that a massive number of dogs across America are being executed, Smith’s suit labeled the police officers’ actions in her home akin to a “dog death squad.” She noted that officers shot one of the dogs through a closed bathroom door. Gruesome photos from the raid revealed a blood-drenched bathroom with Smith’s dog lying in a pool of blood.

In only the past two years, numerous lawsuits have been filed against the Detroit Police Department for executing dogs. Once incident ended with the city paying out $100,000 to settle a suit after police dash cam footage revealed a dog being killed by an officer while still chained up and no threat to officers. The case was one of three lawsuits filed against the DPD for killing dogs during raids in search of cannabis. In another case, filed in June, officers are alleged to have killed a couple’s dogs while they were behind a backyard fence.

The absurdity of raiding people’s homes in an assaultive and violent manner in search of a medicinal plant reeks of government overreach and waste.

The report by Reason noted extremely brutal nature :

A Reason investigation last year found the DPD’s Major Violators Unit, which conducts drug raids in the city, has a track record of leaving dead dogs in its wake. One officer had shot 39 dogs over the course of his career before the raid on Smith’s house, according to public records.

That officer is now up to 73 kills, according to the most recent records obtained by Reason.

Two other officers involved in the Smith raid testified during the trial that they had shot “fewer than 20” and “at least 19” dogs over the course of their careers…

Reason’s review of “destruction of animal” reports filed by Detroit police officers did not find a single instance where a supervisor found that a dog shooting was unjustified.

Does anyone really believe that the officer with 73 dog killings is doing it to protect themselves and other officers from imminent danger? The wanton disregard for life is astonishing and speaks to the extreme levels of brutality we see taking place on American streets on a daily basis.

Once again highlighting the lack of proper training police receive, Judge Steeh’s opinion noted that the “police officers conducting the search had not received any specific training on how to handle animal encounters during raids.”

The court opinion also recognized that Detroit police supervisors found the shooting of Smith’s three dogs all to be justified, but curiously noting:

“However, as in many other cases, the ratifying officers did so without speaking to the officers about what had transpired,” the court wrote.

The search warrant for Smith’s residence came after police received a tip that marijuana was being sold out of the home. The raid, which killed her three dogs, netted a total of 25 grams of marijuana – not even an ounce. Since recent polling support for legalizing cannabis has reached upwards of 80%, perhaps giving police a license to kick down doors, with weapons drawn, in search of a plant, is a recipe for disaster.

Ironically, after the police killed her three dogs, the case against Smith was dismissed due to officers failing to show up for her court hearing. Three murdered dogs, smashed house, no charges, and endless pain and suffering — all for an illegal plant — and this is called justice. Church Fighting Allegations of Decades of Abuse

Word of Faith Fellowship (WFF), an international Protestant church based in Spindale, North Carolina, was the subject of an exposé by the Associated Press on July 24, in a piece about allegations that WFF brought church members from Brazil into the United States on tourist and student visas and then forced them to work without pay, essentially enslaving those they pretended to evangelize.

WFF vehemently denied these allegations, stating in a July 30 press release that “we are appalled to learn of the allegations published by the Associated Press regarding foreign members of our church being ‘enslaved.’ Many of these allegations are obviously preposterous on their face and they are all false.”

A testimonial on WFF’s website has called the AP “fake news.” borrowing President Trump’s popular phrase.

AP based its claims on interviews with 16 Brazilian former church members who said they were forced to work without pay and were abused both physically and verbally. Children as young as 12 were allegedly brought from Brazil and put to work immediately at WFF’s property in North Carolina . . .

WFF said such allegations are “ludicrous” and pointed out “people now claim they were in an abusive environment at our church but admit that they traveled from Brazil to the United States many different times, returning repeatedly to their place of alleged enslavement.” (Read more from “Church Fighting Allegations of Decades of Abuse” HERE)
