SCOTUS Acts to Keep Abortion Pill Available for Now

The Supreme Court acted Friday to keep the abortion pill mifepristone widely available as a pivotal case works its way through the courts, Fox News Digital reported.

Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel A. Alito Jr. dissented. No justices appointed by former President Donald Trump publicly followed suit, the New York Times reported.

“As is common practice, the Supreme Court has decided to maintain the status quo that existed prior to our lawsuit while our challenge to the FDA’s illegal approval of chemical abortion drugs and its removal of critical safeguards for those drugs moves forward,” said Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Counsel Erik Baptist in a statement.

Baptist went on to explain that the case will continue on an expedited basis through the lower courts.

“The FDA must answer for the damage it has caused to the health of countless women and girls and the rule of law by failing to study how dangerous the chemical abortion drug regimen is and unlawfully removing every meaningful safeguard, even allowing for mail-order abortions.” (Read more from “SCOTUS Acts to Keep Abortion Pill Available for Now” HERE)

18-Year-Old Male Identifying as Female Enters High School Girls’ Locker, Showers Naked Next to 14-Year-Old Students, Conservative Org Alleges

An 18-year-old male student at a Wisconsin high school who identifies as female entered the girls’ locker room and began showering naked with four 14-year-old girls, a conservative legal organization said Wednesday.

In a letter sent Wednesday to the school district, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty, Inc. (WILL) said that on March 3 four freshman girls at Sun Prairie East High School (EHS) were showering and changing after a physical education class. When they entered the lockers, they found a senior male student, believed to be 18 years old at the time, in the room that contained the lockers and benches. The girls said the student wasn’t in the class with them, but proceeded to the shower area even though they were uncomfortable. They were aware that the student identified as transgender and had used girls’ bathrooms previously, according to the letter.

The girls showered with their bathing suits on, which was common practice. Just when they started to shower, WILL said, the transgender student fully undressed and entered the shower next to one of the girls. The student was initially facing the wall but then turned toward the four girls, exposing his male genitalia to all four freshmen.

“Understandably, the girls were caught off guard and shocked, closed their eyes, and tried to hurry up and leave the showers as quickly as possible,” WILL’s letter stated.

The girls didn’t know what to do and didn’t immediately report the incident, but after one girl told another student what happened, that student said they should report it, according to the letter. Three days after the incident in the shower, the uninvolved student reported it to student services. The incident should have been reported under Title IX, an anti-sex discrimination law that protects students against sexual harassment and assault. But Associate Principal Heidi Walter didn’t report the incident to the Title IX coordinator, and instead asked for the names of the students involved, according to the letter. Disturbing: Pro-Choice Doctors Want to Train Physicians on a ‘Convenient’ Abortion Method

A group of abortion providers are pushing back against restrictions on the procedure by training primary care doctors a “convenient” abortion method that uses a “hand-held device.”

According to Fox News, doctors from the MYA Network are looking to train more primary care facilities to provide “manual uterine aspiration” using a small, hand-held device that removes a pregnancy “almost completely intact.” A New York doctor who provides this type of procedure has patients “in and out of the door in less than an hour.”

The doctor, Joan Fleishman, told The Guardian that she sees patients from all across the United States and from other countries, such as Ireland, Bahamas and Mexico. She is the co-founder of the MYA Network (via The Guardian):

They believe the took could be radical in the hands of more primary care clinicians – clinicians they are amping up to train.

The time to do that, they say, is now. The future of mifepristone, a major abortion pill used in more than half the abortions in the US, is in question due to a lawsuit brought by anti-abortion groups seeking to overturn the FDA’s approval of the drug. It could be determined by the same supreme court that ruled last year to overturn Roe v Wade.

Riley Gaines Blasts Lia Thomas for Hyping Rule That Would Force States to Allow Men Into Women’s Sports

Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines blasted Lia, formerly William, Thomas for backing a Biden administration regulation that would force American states to permit men in women’s sports.

Although it’s personal for Gaines, who had to compete with the male athlete last year, the All-American swim star has also made clear that she wants to help spare future generations of girls and women from having men similarly invade their sports.

Earlier this month, the Biden administration proposed a regulation prohibiting schools and universities that receive federal funding from segregating sports across the board based on biological sex. . .

Thomas came out in support of the proposed regulation in a recent video, in which he appeared dressed in a shirt that said, “Trans athletes belong in sports.” . . .

Accordingly, Thomas called on activists to pressure the Biden administration to push the transgender agenda farther.

Husband and Wife Worship Hindu “God” Every Day for a Year, Then Decapitate Themselves

A husband and wife from India simultaneously decapitated themselves over the weekend using an improvised guillotine rigged in such a way that their severed heads rolled directly into a fire altar as a form of human sacrifice, officials said.

Farmer Hemubhai Makwana, 38, and his wife, Hansaben Makwana, 35, committed the sickening act sometime between Saturday and Sunday in the village of Vinchiya, located in the Rajkot district of the western state of Gujarat, local police said.

“The couple first prepared a fire altar before putting their heads under a guillotine-like mechanism held by a rope. As soon as they released the rope, an iron blade fell on them, severing their heads, which rolled into the fire,” said Vinchiya police sub-inspector Indrajitsinh Jadeja, according to Hindustan Times. . .

Jadeja said investigators were taking statements from relatives and trying to determine whether the twin beheadings were part of a black magic ritual.

Disneyland Will Host First Ever Pride Nite During ‘After Dark’

Disneyland announced late last week that the California-based theme park will host its first-ever Pride Nites as part of the park’s “After Dark” series in June.

The LGBTQIA+ event — dubbed “Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite” — will be the first of its kind to be held in the self-described “happiest place on earth” and will extend for two nights, June 13th and June 15th.

“The first-ever Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite is coming to @Disneyland during Pride Month in June,” Disney tweeted from the brand account. “This separately ticketed event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and allies will have themed entertainment, Disney characters, specialty menu items & more.”

A report from ABC News laid out some of the entertainment attendees could expect to take part in during those events, including but not limited to “Pride Night Cavalcade, an Ohana Dance Party in Tomorrowland featuring Stitch, a Pride Night Dance Club at the Rivers of America and a country line dancing event at the Golden Horseshoe.”

The Pushback Against Transanity Continues

. . .Day by day, that pushback continues, as the radical left continues to overplay its hand.

Consequently, the same people who may have been sympathetic to same-sex “marriage” are not sympathetic to transgender activism. To paraphrase, “We didn’t sign up for this!” . . .

A growing number of states have outlawed the chemical castration or gender mutilation of children who identify as trans. While trans activists are calling this genocidal, others with clearer perspectives recognize that this will save many a child from making a terrible and irreversible decision.

In Canada, a male weightlifter signed up as a female in a weightlifting competition and smashed the current record — one set, ironically, by a man who identified as a woman — simply to illustrate the absurdity of the current state of things. You can expect to see more examples like this.

Washington Bill Would Bar Parents From Intervening on Child Gender Transitions

A bill in Washington state would prevent parents from intervening in their child’s decision to receive gender transition treatments.

Senate Bill 5599 would essentially allow host homes for runaway youth to house minors “without parental permission.” The host homes would also not be required to notify parents of their child’s whereabouts or tell them if they are undergoing gender transition procedures “if there is a compelling reason not to, which includes a youth seeking protected health services.” Per Fox News:

The “protected health care services” included “gender-affirming care,” which for minors arbitrarily included anything prescribed by a doctor to treat dysphoria, the bill said.

“Gender affirming treatment can be prescribed to two-spirit, transgender, nonbinary, and other gender diverse individuals,” the bill stated.

For minors, “affirming care” typically included puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries. It was unclear which services would be approved under the bill.

Plus-Size Airline Passenger Demands Free Seats and Bigger Bathrooms in Petition to FAA

A plus-size airline passenger has started an online petition demanding change from airlines when it comes to passenger accommodations for people who are larger than others.

In a Change.org petition titled “Demand for the FAA to Protect Plus-Sized Customers,” petition originator Jae’lynn Chaney, a content creator from Vancouver, Washington, has several requests for change when it comes to larger individuals flying safely and comfortably.

“Air travel should be comfortable and accessible for everyone, regardless of size,” Chaney wrote in her petition. . .

Offering a potential solution, she said, “Many airlines also oversell a percentage of seats on flights, resulting in available seats that could be used to accommodate passengers who need additional room.”

Chaney added, “Implementing policies to accommodate plus-size passengers may come with associated costs, but these costs must be weighed against the benefits of creating a more welcoming and inclusive travel experience.” (See Chaney speak about her petition in the Instagram video, below.)

On Cusp of Presidential Run, Florida Gov. DeSantis Signs Ban on Abortion After 6 Weeks

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who will need the support of evangelical voters if he enters the 2024 Republican presidential race, signed a bill Thursday evening imposing one of the nation’s strictest abortion limits.

The Heartbeat Protection Act was passed by the Republican-led Florida House earlier Thursday in a 70-40 vote and headed to the governor’s desk. Mr. DeSantis gave his approval after having signaled last month that he would sign it into law.

“We are proud to support life and family in the state of Florida,” he said.

The measure bans abortion after six weeks of pregnancy, with some exceptions, aligning Florida with a dozen other Republican-led states that have moved to significantly restrict abortion after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and returned the issue to states.
