Lawyers: Inmate Claims She Was ‘Offered Money’ to Murder Ghislaine Maxwell

Lawyers for Ghislaine Maxwell claim that her cellmate alleges she was offered financial compensation to kill the disgraced British socialite.

Global News reports:

Maxwell’s lawyers provided details of the alleged death threat in a pre-sentencing report Wednesday. They also made the case that Maxwell suffered an abusive upbringing, which made her vulnerable to Epstein’s influence, in arguing for leniency in her sentencing. Her lawyers wrote: “One of the female inmates in Ms. Maxwell’s housing unit told at least three other inmates that she had been offered money to murder Ms. Maxwell and that she planned to strangle her in her sleep.”

The ‘White Nationalists’ Arrested at the Idaho Pride Event Were the Least Armed and Dangerous People That Day

By the way Chief Lee White of the Coeur d’Alene Police Department is acting, you’d swear he just prevented a mass shooting in a preschool using only psychic abilities and a roll of tape.

But that’s not what White and his force did. Instead, on Saturday they arrested 31 guys who were found to be in possession of nothing other than a single smoke bomb and a plan to make noise throughout the city. . .

It’s certainly annoying and offensive, but since when did that require two press conferences from the police chief and fire-alarm coverage from The New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, and on and on?

Ah, that’s because this wasn’t just anybody. This wasn’t Black Lives Matter or Antifa. It was the Patriot Front, a group made up of “white nationalists.” That’s why we’re supposed to believe this was so important. They were white racists and, as we’re told by the FBI and the media over and over again, that’s the greatest threat to the country at the moment.

It’s not because anyone was hurt or that there was even any evidence that there was a specific plan of assault. They had no weapons.

Admittedly, anything can be a weapon, but generally speaking, a shield is meant to defend, not attack. And Chief White said there were regular attendees “walking around the [Pride] event with long guns and handguns and bear spray and all kinds of things like that.” That’s perfectly legal for them to do in Idaho, but it was apparently the shields police were concerned with. WATCH: Mike Lindell Says Walmart Has Dropped My Pillow

My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell claimed Thursday that Walmart had discontinued his company’s namesake product.

In a Facebook Live video, Lindell told his followers that Walmart informed him it would stop carrying his product.

“Walmart says, ‘Yeah, we’re going to be discontinuing you,'” he explained.

A spokesperson for Walmart told the Washington Examiner, “While we are no longer carrying them in stores, My Pillow products continue to be available on Walmart.com.”

Would-Be Gas Thief Lights Himself on Fire

A would-be gas thief was forced to beat a heated retreat after he caught fire while trying to steal from a parked truck in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The thief was attempting to siphon gas from a box truck parked outside Summit Fire and Protection in Salt Lake City when he caught fire and was forced to run away from the truck, local NBC affiliate KSL-TV reported. The incident occurred in broad daylight Saturday morning.

Surveillance video from the incident shows a man underneath the truck with a heavy-duty pickup truck alongside, its passenger door ajar. Suddenly, the would-be thief’s shirt catches fire. He slides out from underneath the truck, runs across the parking lot, and rolls on the asphalt in an attempt to put out the fire. The suspect’s accomplice then scoops him up and they drive off.

“The reason why he’s fleeing is that, if there were more gas in it than a gallon, this thing would have absolutely turned into a bomb,” Travis Mills, branch manager of Summit, told KSL. “It’s sad because times are tough for a lot of people, but it’s not worth the $5 that he would have saved for the injury that the guy sustained.”

The thief caught fire because he was trying to drill into the gas tank. “The guy tried to siphon gas out of it and he wasn’t getting the siphon to work,” Mills said. “So he decided to drill the gas tank, and that’s when he caught on fire.” (Read more from “Would-Be Gas Thief Lights Himself on Fire” HERE)

Oil Companies Unload on Biden After His Thinly-Veiled Threats

Oil companies and industry trade groups criticized President Joe Biden after he sent a letter to them threatening action over high gasoline prices.

Biden penned a letter to seven major oil companies Tuesday insisting they increase oil refining operations to counter declining fuel supplies and inventories nationwide. The American Petroleum Institute (API) and American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) sent a letter to the White House Wednesday evening, saying energy companies are refining at an increasingly high rate and government policies have injected uncertainty into the industry, in a response sent to the White House on Wednesday evening.

“Refiners do not make multi-billion-dollar investments based on short-term returns,” the two groups wrote in the joint letter to Biden. “They look at long-term supply and demand fundamentals and make investments as appropriate. To that end, following on your campaign promise to ‘end fossil fuel,’ consider just some of the policy and investment signals being sent by various federal agencies and allied state governments to the market about our refining industry.” . . .

On Wednesday, several of the companies Biden addressed in his warning letter responded in force, echoing the industry groups’ response. They noted their refinery utilization rates are high and that the president’s policies are holding them back.

“Specific to refining capacity in the U.S., we’ve been investing through the downturn to increase refining capacity to process U.S. light crude by about 250,000 barrels per day – the equivalent of adding a new medium-sized refinery,” ExxonMobil said in a statement shared with The Daily Caller News Foundation. “We kept investing even during the pandemic, when we lost more than $20 billion and had to borrow more than $30 billion to maintain investment to increase capacity to be ready for post-pandemic demand.” (Read more from “Oil Companies Unload on Biden After His Thinly-Veiled Threats” HERE)

Transgender Health Org Pushing Children to Transition ‘Even Younger’

Despite the harmful consequences of early sex reassignment treatments, a transgender health association is now lowering its recommended ages for children to begin permanently altering their bodies.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health previously had guidelines recommending transgender children begin hormone treatments at age 16 at the earliest. Now they’re lowering it to age 14.

Many of the effects of hormone replacement treatments are entirely permanent. A UCSF study says:

Report: Hunter Biden Freaked Out over Sister-in-Law Disposing of His Gun; Texts Reveal Hunter’s Meltdown

By Breitbart. A report from the Washington Examiner claims texts recovered from Hunter Biden’s laptop show he lambasted his sister-in-law Hallie Biden over her disposal of his gun, mentioning her son’s firearms, as well as guns stored at his father’s house.

According to the Washington Examiner, Hunter was triggered by discovering Hallie had allegedly “thrown his gun in the trash near a Delaware high school in October 2018.”

He texted Hallie afterward, outraged that he might be investigated over the disposal of the gun.

Hunter texted, “That’s now in the hands of the FBI.”

On October 23, 2018, Hunter wrote: “Beau owned a handgun issued by the state and I[t] was in the front glove compartment of his car. So f*** you … What right do you f***ing have Hallie. ….There are 5 guns in dads house. Texts Reveal Hunter Biden’s Meltdown Over Discarded Gun Incident

By Washington Examiner. Hunter Biden berated his sister-in-law Hallie Biden and accused her of ruining his life after he learned she had thrown his gun in the trash near a Delaware high school in October 2018, newly revealed texts from a copy of his abandoned laptop show.

Hunter lamented that Hallie, the widow of his brother Beau, had given the impression he’s “an abusive pedophile with homicidal tendencies” and said that “that’s now in the hands of the FBI.” He said police and the bureau opened an investigation into him over the incident. The Secret Service also inserted itself into the saga, according to other texts from Hunter, although the agency has denied involvement. . .

Hunter told Hallie her actions made it look like he had “threatened you and your family with a gun.”

“I hate what you’ve done to me,” Hunter said. “I won’t ever recover from all of this.” . . .

Hallie, who had a tumultuous relationship with Hunter following his brother’s death in 2015, said she found Hunter’s .38-caliber revolver in his unlocked car and threw it in the garbage near Janssen’s Market in Wilmington, Delaware. Most Dems and Republicans Believe U.S. Democracy Will End, Civil War Likely

More than half of self-identified Democrats and Republicans believe the US will no longer be a “democracy” at some point in the future, according to a new poll.

The striking findings were reported in a Yahoo News/YouGov survey which found 55% of Democrats and 53% of Republicans said it was “likely” the US will “cease to be a democracy in the future” . . .

In addition, 60% of Democrats and 61% of Republicans believe America is becoming a “less democratic country” . . .

Additionally, the poll found that 52% of Republicans, 50% of independents and 46% of Democrats believe “there will be a civil war in the United States in [their] lifetime.”

[Also, the poll found that 67% of Republicans have very negative views of Democrats with 30% describing] Democrats as “out of touch with reality,” while 25% claimed they were a “threat to America.” Another 8% see the Democratic Party as “immoral” and 4% said it was a “threat to me personally.” Democrats’ opinions of the GOP were similar. . . WHO to Rename Monkeypox Because of ‘Racism’

The World Health Organization announced that officials are working to rename the monkeypox virus after a group of scientists called the moniker “discriminatory and stigmatizing.”

“WHO is also working with partners and experts from around the world on changing the name of monkeypox virus, its clades, and the disease it causes,” organization director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a Tuesday media briefing. He said WHO will announce the new name “as soon as possible.”

This is not the first time that health officials have declared a disease name discriminatory. Soon after WHO in early 2020 named the novel coronavirus “COVID-19,” journalists wrote that calling the disease, which originated in China, “the Wuhan virus” or “the China virus” is racist. The Chinese Communist government at the same time launched a propaganda campaign to deny that the disease originated in China, the Washington Free Beacon reported. As Flooding Ravages Wyoming and Shuts Down Yellowstone, Liz Cheney Is in D.C. Trying to Indict Trump

After heavy rains triggered flooding and rockslides in Yellowstone National Park this week, federal officials shut down Wyoming’s largest tourist destination while the state’s at-large lawmaker remains fixated on an effort to indict former President Donald Trump.

On Monday, the National Park Service announced a full evacuation of the park, which is larger than the states of Delaware and Rhode Island combined, and closed its five entrances to visitors. . .

At the same time that Wyoming’s largest attraction shut down, the state’s sole congresswoman, Liz Cheney, was in Washington D.C. conducting the second episode of her beloved Jan. 6 Committee’s Soviet-style show trial to prosecute Trump and his supporters. So far, a single tweet Tuesday afternoon is the extent of Cheney’s public addressing of the flooding that’s shut down her state’s top recreational space which drew 4.9 million visits last year and added more than $444 million to local communities in 2020.

The flooding is “probably the worst thing that’s happened disaster-wise since the fires of ’88,” said Jeff Olson, a resident of Cheney’s adopted hometown, in an interview with Jackson Hole News & Guide. “To have all five entrances closed because of one event during the summer season? It’s crazy.” . . .

The last two press releases from Cheney’s office, however, are each transcripts of her remarks in Monday’s Jan. 6 hearing. Despite the fact that half of her state is under the jurisdiction of the federal government, the Wyoming lawmaker is also no longer on the House Natural Resources Committee, having instead embraced her vendetta against Trump and his supporters as a hallmark of her time in the lower chamber.
