Were White Nationalists Really Planning to Attack the Virginia Gun Rights Rally?

By Daily Caller. The story of last week’s gun rights rally in Virginia was one of narrowly-avoided disaster, according to several mainstream outlets, with law enforcement stepping in just in the nick of time to prevent a mass shooting.

The FBI’s own court filings tell an entirely different story though, one in which white extremists stumbled from one surveillance trap to another without much situational awareness.

The New York Times, the Associated Press, and BuzzFeed narrative centered around the arrest of three men: William Bilbrough, Brian Lemley, and Canadian national Patrik Mathews–all members of the The Base, a white supremacist organization that interacts mostly online and aims to create a white ethno-state. The media implied the group was arrested while planning an attack at the Virginia rally, but that is not what law enforcement documents show.

Firstly, the group decided not to actually go to a rally. They also decided not to start any violence. They planned to wait for a race war to start, as voice recordings show, and then join in.

Records show that police were long in position to prevent these men from successfully attacking anyone. The FBI had been tracking their movements since September 2019 and installed video and audio recording devices inside their Delaware residence in December 2019, according to the FBI’s motion to detain the three men. Fact Check: Did ‘Thousands’ of ‘Far-Right Extremists’ Attend the Richmond Pro-Gun Rally?

By Check Your Fact. HuffPost published an article with a headline claiming “thousands” of “far-right extremists” attended a Jan. 20 gun-rights rally in Richmond, Virginia. . .

Verdict: False

While some nationalist groups did attend the Richmond gun-rights rally, there’s no evidence “thousands” of “far-right extremists” were there. Experts and journalists gave the Daily Caller News Foundation lower estimates.

Fact Check:

The Virginia Division of Capitol Police estimated 22,000 people attended the Jan. 20 gun-rights rally in Richmond to protest various recent gun control proposals. Some officials feared violence might occur at the rally, particularly after the FBI announced days before that it had arrested three alleged members of white supremacist group The Base. But, despite these concerns, the rally remained peaceful, with only one reported arrest, according to The Washington Post.

Donald Trump Announces ‘New Dawn’ Middle East Peace Deal

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump announced his plan for peace in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine on Tuesday at a White House event with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Together we can bring about a new dawn in the Middle East,” Trump said as the room applauded.

The president acknowledged that the field effort to make peace between Israelis and Palestinians was a historically difficult process but that he was determined to make it happen.

“All prior administrations from President Lyndon Johnson have tried and bitterly failed, but I was not elected to do small things or shy away from big problems,” he said.

Supporters of the president and Israel filled the East Room of the White House for the event, enthusiastically applauding throughout his speech. (Read more from “Donald Trump Announces ‘New Dawn’ Middle East Peace Deal” HERE)

Trump Leaps Into Middle East Fray With Peace Plan That Palestinians Denounce

By Reuters. U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday proposed creating a Palestinian state as part of a Middle East peace plan, drawing Palestinian condemnation for imposing strict conditions and agreeing to let Israel maintain control of long-contested West Bank settlements.

Trump announced his plan for Israeli-Palestinian peace at a White House event with embattled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu standing at his side. It includes what Trump called a four-year freeze by Israel on new settlement activity.

Although Trump’s stated aim was to end decades of conflict, the plan he advanced favored Israel, underscored by the absence of Palestinians from Trump’s announcement.

It seemed unlikely to immediately advance Israeli-Palestinian talks that broke down in 2014, but the plan was called “an important starting point for a return to negotiations” by the United Arab Emirates. Saudi Arabia and Egypt also offered encouraging statements. (Read more from “Trump Leaps Into Middle East Fray With Peace Plan That Palestinians Denounce” HERE)

Seattle Commuter Shooting: Nearly 70 Prior Arrests Among Three Suspects

Isn’t it time we “do something” about shootings in America? Well, last week there was a shooting at one of downtown Seattle’s busiest street corners, yet it was barely covered by the media. There were about 75 opportunities to “do something” to prevent the murder, as is the case with almost every major city shooting you don’t hear about in the media. This is yet another example of the need for criminal control as a more effective public safety tool than gun control.

Last Wednesday night, right around rush hour, gunfire erupted on a busy Seattle street near a bus stop with numerous commuters and pedestrians nearby. One person was killed and seven were wounded, including a 9-year-old boy. This wasn’t the typical gang fight that erupted deep in a bad neighborhood; it placed numerous commuters in the crossfire. Two Amazon workers were shot.

The suspects are Marquise Latrelle Tolbert, 24, William Ray Tolliver, 24, and Jamel Linonell Jackson, 21. Tolbert and Tolliver are on the run, while Jackson is in custody of local police.

William Ray Tolliver has at least 44 prior arrests and 20 convictions, for offenses including unlawful possession of a firearm, theft, malicious mischief, and assault.

Marquise Latrelle Tolbert has over 20 arrests, with 15 convictions, including for robbery, possession of a stolen vehicle, discharging a firearm in a public place, theft, and harassment.

Both men were arrested in 2018 for drive-by shooting and weapons violations but appear not to have served time in prison. Police believe they are both members of a local gang.

What about Jamel Jackson? According to KIRO, he had a prior robbery conviction and two prior convictions for unlawful handgun possession. Yes, it was 100 percent illegal for him to have a gun, but he was caught on camera with a gun at the scene of this crime. He has barely served time in prison, according to court records – just four months of “work release” in 2017 – and even after this incident he is only being held on $50,000 bond. In a 2017 case, police charged that he was a gang member and “likely to commit a violent offense.”

Here we have three suspects with a total of nearly 70 prior arrests, including for violent crimes and gun offenses. But Washington state is a notorious criminal justice “reform” state with an egregious record of releasing both violent domestic criminals and violent illegal aliens.

Washington is also one of the states that is weakening its “three strikes” law. Under the law, those convicted of three violent crimes are supposed to serve time for life, but Gov. Jay Inslee has been consistently granting clemency to the most violent criminals. As KIRO radio host Dori Monson reported last week, Inslee released one three-strike offender who was convicted of stealing 27 guns as his last offense. He violated the terms of his clemency twice and then disappeared. He is now a fugitive criminal in California and is wanted by police for several crimes.

This is the story of almost every shooting and violent crime in America. There have been 943,591 homicides in America from 1966 through 2018. Almost all of them are committed by known criminals who are let back out on the streets, and very few of them are committed with AR rifles. If we only locked up the violent gun felons, most murders would be prevented. Instead, the very people who want gun control are the ones who think that a system that already fails to confine violent gun felons and gangsters is too punitive. Americans Are Getting Really Creeped out by Devices Eavesdropping on Them

. . .Anxiety levels over privacy and security are peaking as the relentless collection of online data and the steady drumbeat of data incursions and breaches take a toll.

People are worried like never before about eavesdropping by smart home devices such as Google Home and the Amazon Echo or having their microphone tapped to target them with personalized ads and increasingly they want a say over how their personal information gets used, according to a survey released Tuesday to observe Data Privacy Day.

More than 8 in 10 American adults expect to have control over how a business handles their data, the survey released by privacy firm DataGrail found. . .

What’s striking a real nerve with Americans? More than 82% of the survey participants said they are alarmed by businesses monitoring or collecting data from their mobile phone’s microphone, their laptop’s webcam and smart home devices. They also don’t feel comfortable with their phone or laptop being used to track their location.

For 48% of American adults, the No. 1 privacy concern is social media companies selling their data to third parties, according to the survey. Four in 10 object to their personal information from social media being sold to third parties to serve ads. Senator Proposes Travel Ban in Response to Coronavirus; U.S. Urges Americans to ‘Reconsider’ China Travel; More Suspected Cases Reported In U.S., Number ‘Will Only Increase’

By Daily Wire. On Friday, freshman Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), who is very outspoken on the 21s century geopolitical threat posed by China, raised with leading Trump administration officials the possibility of restricting or temporarily outright cutting off travel with the country due to the coronavirus that recently emanated from there.

Hawley “sent a letter Friday to the heads of four government agencies to ask whether the Trump administration was considering any potential Chinese travel ban to prevent an American outbreak of the coronavirus,” National Review reported.

Specifically, Hawley tweeted: “As deadly #coronavirus spreads, this morning I’ve written to the Secretary of State and others to ask whether temporary travel restrictions from affected areas in China may be necessary, and if they are, when American travelers will be notified. Public safety must be #1 priority.”

The tweet accompanied a letter that Hawley sent on Friday to four Cabinet secretaries or acting secretaries: Alex Azar of the Department of Health and Human Services, Chad Wolf of the Department of Homeland Security, Elaine Chao of the Department of Transportation, and Mike Pompeo of the State Department. Coronavirus Outbreak: U.S. Urges Americans to ‘Reconsider’ China Travel, Plans to Move Personnel out of Wuhan

By Fox News. The State Department on Monday urged Americans to reconsider traveling to Wuhan, China, the epicenter of the coronavirus, and said it ordered the departure of all non-emergency U.S. personnel and their families out of the country.

The travel advisory increase from Level 2 to Level 3 comes as Chinese authorities continue to impose quarantines and travel restrictions in and around Wuhan, where the virus was first reported last year.

At least 80 people have died and nearly 2,000 have been infected. The warning said travelers should avoid non-essential travel to China. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also issued a Level 3 warning to avoid all travel to China.

The agency said it has chartered a flight for American government personnel in Wuhan for Wednesday morning. The flight will depart Wuhan Tianhe International Airport and ultimately arrive in Ontario, Calif., a State Department officials said.

Passengers will be screened for symptoms at the airport in Wuhan before leaving. Some U.S. citizens will be offered space on the flight but will have to reimburse the government. CDC: 110 Suspected Coronavirus Cases in U.S. Under Investigation, Number ‘Will Only Increase’

By Fox News. Health officials monitoring the coronavirus in the U.S. said there are currently 110 “persons under investigation” across 26 states, noting that the number “will only increase” as the outbreak in China continues. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in an update on Monday that five of the cases in the U.S. tested positive for the novel coronavirus, or 2019-nCoV, and 32 so far had produced negative results.

At this point, the CDC said the virus does appear to have mutated, but described the outbreak as a “rapidly changing situation.” The virus has killed at least 81 people in China and sickened over 2,700 more. The CDC said 16 other international locations had reported a case of the virus. All five cases confirmed in the U.S. have been in those who traveled to Wuhan recently, where officials have traced the outbreak to a live animal and seafood market. Since the first cases were reported in early December, the virus has been found to be transmissible between humans.

The health agency said that on Sunday it updated its travel recommendations for those making their way through China and encouraged travelers to take enhanced precautions which include “avoiding contact with sick people,” and discussing travel plans with a health care provider, especially for those who are older or who have underlying health issues. Top British Spy Report: ‘Strong Possibility’ That Anti-Trump Dossier Was Completely Fabricated

A British author who specializes in espionage raised serious doubts about former MI6 officer Christopher Steele’s salacious dossier, which was included in the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into President Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Rupert Allason, a former member of Parliament whose pen name is Nigel West, conducted a forensic analysis of Steele’s work, which made stunning allegations about coordination between Trump’s camp and Russia. He came away “stunned” by what he viewed to be a poor job by a former intelligence officer whom he once considered to be a friend.

“There is … a strong possibility that all Steele’s material has been fabricated,” Allason wrote in a report obtained by the British newspaper Sunday Times. . .

Allason’s report comes in the wake of an assessment by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who condemned Steele, 55, and the FBI for its reliance on his dossier to obtain warrants for wiretapping onetime Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Additionally, special counsel Robert Mueller concluded an investigation last year that found no criminal conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia. . .

Horowitz’s report, which was released in December and faulted the Justice Department and the FBI for 17 “significant errors and omissions” in its submissions to the FISA court, showed that FBI interviews with Steele’s primary Moscow-based source, beginning in January 2017, “raised significant questions about the reliability of the Steele election reporting.” This source claimed that much of what he told Steele was “hearsay” or, in the case of the “pee tape,” just “rumor and speculation” from a sub-source, reported by some to likely be Belarus-born businessman Sergei Millian. Millian, however, has denied being a source for the dossier. (Read more from “Top British Spy Report: ‘Strong Possibility’ That Anti-Trump Dossier Was Completely Fabricated” HERE)

Biden on Minority Support: ‘I Was Raised in the Black Church’

By Washington Examiner. Joe Biden spoke of his connection to black voters at an NAACP event Sunday afternoon and claimed his “political identity” was molded by minorities in his home state of Delaware.

“I have a lot of black support because that’s where I come from. I was raised in the black church, politically, not a joke,” the former vice president said in Des Moines. “When I got into politics, I was the only white guy working on the east side, in the projects, because these were the guys I grew up with. These were the guys I worked with.” . . .

He spoke extensively on his consistent support from black Democrats, which a number of polls show back him by double-digits over his rivals. That consistent support, Biden said, was because of his decades-long relationship with black voters that started when he was a city council member in Wilmington, Delaware. During his time as a local politician, Biden said he would “go to a black church after regular mass every Sunday.” (Read more from “Biden on Minority Support: ‘I Was Raised in the Black Church'” HERE)

Hunter Biden Agrees to Temporary Child Support Settlement for Ex-Stripper Baby Mama

Hunter Biden has reportedly agreed to pay a temporary child support settlement to the ex-stripper mother of his child.

The son of former Vice President Joe Biden agreed to begin paying monthly child support as well as back payments starting from Nov. 1, 2018 to his former lover Lunden Alexis Roberts, with whom he has a 1-year-old child, per Page Six in a piece published Monday. The temporary amount was not disclosed.

Biden must submit financial records by March 1 at which time the court has reserved the “right to retroactively or modify child support” based off that information and set the final amount.

In November 2019, DNA test results revealed Biden was indeed the father of Roberts’ child. Hunter initially denied the allegations back in August and requested that the court dismiss the allegations altogether. Supreme Court Allows Trump’s ‘Public Charge’ Immigration Rule to Take Effect

The Supreme Court said Monday that it will allow the Trump administration’s “public charge” rule to take effect after the immigration policy had been blocked by lower courts.

The 5-4 vote was divided along partisan lines, with the court’s four Democratic appointees indicating that they would not have allowed the policy to be enforced.

The court’s five conservatives, including Chief Justice John Roberts, formed the majority siding with the administration. The decision came as Roberts was presiding over President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial in the Senate.

The rule, which was proposed in August, will make it more difficult for immigrants to obtain permanent residency, or green cards, if they have used or are likely to use public benefits like food stamps and Medicaid.

Under previous federal rules, a more narrow universe of public benefits, such as cash assistance and long-term hospitalization, were considered in determining whether an immigrant was likely to become a “public charge.” (Read more from “Supreme Court Allows Trump’s ‘Public Charge’ Immigration Rule to Take Effect” HERE)

Report: Prince Andrew Being ‘Uncooperative’ in Epstein Probe

By Daily Wire. As the British royal family faces intense media scrutiny, Prince Andrew is reportedly being “uncooperative” with investigators regarding his relationship with convicted billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Since Epstein allegedly committed suicide in his jail cell late last year, the FBI and other law agencies have been seeking to interview the Duke of York, but he has been largely unresponsive.

“U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman told reporters Monday that federal prosecutors have not heard back from Andrew,” reports Fox Business. “Despite their request to interview him, the duke has ‘provided zero cooperation’ in their efforts, Berman said, at a news conference outside Epstein’s New York mansion.” . . .

The news of Prince Andrew’s lack of cooperation directly contradicts his past statements indicating he would cooperate with investigators following Epstein’s death. This past November, the Duke of York even announced he would be stepping back from his public duties.

“It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work,” he continued. “I continue to unequivocally regret my ill-judged association with Jeffrey Epstein.” (Read more from “Report: Prince Andrew Being ‘Uncooperative’ in Epstein Probe” HERE)

Virgin Islands AG says Jeffrey Epstein estate executors have a conflict of interest

By New York Post. The attorney general for the US Virgin Islands said she does not trust the two executors of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate to handle the case because they have a conflict of interest, according to new court papers.

Attorney General Denise George alleged in a Jan. 15 lawsuit that Epstein sexually abused so many underage girls on his private islands Little St. James and Great St. James as recently as last year that he needed a computer database to keep track of them. The AG is seeking forfeitures and penalties including the seizure of his two islands.

Now, George wants to intervene in the dead pedophile’s estate case to make sure her claims are represented and to ensure VI laws are followed especially given, George says, the fact that the executors of the estate have a conflict of interest, according to court documents made public Monday.

George says there is a conflict of interest because the two executors of the financier’s estate, Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn, “served as officers or trustees” of companies and Epstein’s trust which are named in her lawsuit.
