This Progressive Delivered a Brutal Fact Check for Those Politicizing the Texas Floods

You know the saying: a broken clock is right twice a day. For former Ohio State Sen. Nina Turner, a firebrand progressive and Bernie Sanders supporter, who is the perfect person to be an MSNBC guest, she holds that honor today in the aftermath of the devastating and tragic floods in Central Texas. The damage is immense, with the death toll surging toward 100 dead as storms ripped through Kerr County and swelled the Guadalupe River 25-plus feet in less than two hours.

Liberals have been blaming the Trump administration for the proposed DOGE cuts while also cheering for more deaths. It’s who the Left is regarding people with whom they disagree. They’re puerile, ghoulish, and all-around disgusting people who have no clue what they’re talking about. For Ms. Turner, she didn’t hold back trashing those on her side using a tragedy:

Zohran Mamdani’s SAT Scores Revealed After Columbia Application ‘African American’ Bombshell

Mayoral Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani’s SAT score has been revealed after the democratic socialist was sharply criticized over the revelation that he listed himself as African American on his application to Columbia University.

Mamdani received a 2140 out of 2400 on the test which was on the lower end of median scores for admitted students but was likely above the median score for black students, independent journalist Christopher Rufo reported.

The report links to a 2009 post highlighting the admitted classes’ standardized test scores, with the middle 50% scoring “between 2110 and 2300 on the Math, Critical Reading and Writing sections of the SAT.”

The Ugandan-born Mamdani got hammered by critics after the bombshell revelation that Mamdani listed that he was both “Asian” and “Black/African American” when applying to Columbia University, where his father Mahmood Mamdani is a professor.

The university had affirmative action policies when Mamdani applied in 2009, which critics said may have been the catalyst for the pol listing himself as black in order to get preferential treatment. John Brennan May Face Perjury Issues After CIA Director Ratcliffe’s Review Uncovers Russia Hoax Testimony Problems

Former CIA Director John Brennan may be exposed to perjury problems after current CIA Director John Ratcliffe released an internal review of the agency’s Russia hoax materials, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

Last week, Ratcliffe declassified and publicly released an internal CIA review of what is known as the “Intelligence Community Assessment,” or simply ICA, of the claims that Russia tried to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.

“[President Donald Trump] has trusted me with helping to end weaponization of US intelligence,” Ratcliffe posted on X when releasing the review. “Today’s report underscores that the 2016 IC Assessment was conducted through an atypical & corrupt process under the politically charged environments of former Dir. Brennan & former FBI Dir. Comey.”

For years, Republicans and Trump allies have claimed that the ICA from 2016—when Brennan led the CIA—was flawed because its findings were based in part on the highly political Christopher Steele Dossier. The Steele Dossier, which was funded by Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign, was filled with blatant misinformation and inaccuracies like the false claims of “pee tapes” about Trump. The Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee (DNC) later paid a combined six-figure fine to settle a Federal Election Commission (FEC) investigation into whether or not it properly reported the payments made through Perkins Coie and Fusion GPS to create the Steele Dossier. Elon Musk’s AI Chatbot Grok Blames Donald Trump for Texas Flood Deaths

Elon Musk’s AI chatbot Grok is joining woke idiots like Rosie O’Donnell in blaming President Donald Trump for deaths resulting from the horrific flooding in central Texas during Independence Day weekend. After receiving pushback, the AI chatbot ultimately conceded to X users by changing its claim from “directly” to “likely,” and promising to “aim for more nuance.”

During the early hours of Friday, a flash flood ravaged Kerr County, Texas causing widespread damage and road washouts, as well as the deaths of nearly 70 people. The search for 11 missing girls and others continues.

Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, Grok, was quick to blame the tragedy on Donald Trump.

“Grok is woke and full of shit. What the fuck is happening to X?” popular X influencer Catturd wrote, sharing a screenshot of a post in which the AI chatbot claimed cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and National Weather Service (NWS) resulted in deaths.

“Trump’s 2025 cuts slashed NOAA/NWS funding by [approximately] 30% and staff by 17%, impairing forecast accuracy,” Grok claims, adding, “Warnings underestimated rainfall, contributing to inadequate alerts for the flash floods that killed 24 and left [approximately] 24 Camp Mystic girls missing, presumed dead in ongoing searches.” (Read more from “Elon Musk’s AI Chatbot Grok Blames Donald Trump for Texas Flood Deaths” HERE)

Shadowy CIA Operative Interacted With Lee Harvey Oswald Months Before JFK Assassination, Newly Released Docs Show

A shadowy CIA operative specializing in psychological warfare interacted with Lee Harvey Oswald ahead of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination — and then ran interference against congressional investigators probing whether the US spy agency was connected to the killing, newly disclosed documents show.

CIA officer George Joannides assumed the alias “Howard Gleber” in January 1963, and led an American effort to infiltrate anti-communist Cuban student groups in the year leading up to JFK’s killing that November, according to government documents released Thursday and reviewed by Axios.

Oswald, 23 at the time, got into a fight with members of one of those student groups — the DRE, an organization vehemently-opposed to dictator Fidel Castro’s rule over Cuba — while he was handing out pro-communist leaflets in New Orleans nearly four months before the JFK assassination in Texas.

That fight publicly exposed Oswald as a Castro-sympathizer — with news outlets covering a hearing that followed, and the soon-to-be killer later debating DRE members on a local television broadcast, according to Axios.

A year before that exposure, the Pentagon was looking for excuses to attack Cuba — including plotting a false flag plan known as Operation Northwoods, which drew-up a fake assault on the US that would be blamed on the communist nation. TikTok Reportedly Building New U.S. Version Of App Ahead Of Sale

TikTok is reportedly building a new version of its app specifically for the United States. The video sharing platform’s app for American users has a planned launch in U.S. app stores Sept. 5, The Information reported.

This development comes shortly after President Donald Trump said the U.S. had “pretty much” reached a deal for an American company to acquire TikTok’s U.S. assets. The president told Maria Bartiromo of Fox News that the deal is “good for China, and it’s good for us.” He added he is optimistic about the deal even though it will require China’s approval.

“I think I’ll need probably China’s approval. I think President Xi will probably do it,” he said.

In April, an earlier deal that the Trump administration had to finalize TikTok’s sale fell through, reportedly in response to the president’s ‘Liberation Day’ tariffs.

Last month, the president extended the deadline for TikTok’s China-based parent company ByteDance to divest its U.S. assets to Sept. 17. It was the third time the president extended the deadline, according to Fox News. (Read more from “TikTok Reportedly Building New U.S. Version Of App Ahead Of Sale” HERE)

NORAD Fighter Jet Intercepts General Aviation Plane After Multiple Airspace Violates Trump’s No-Fly Zone

A general aviation aircraft was intercepted Saturday afternoon by a NORAD-controlled fighter jet after entering restricted airspace near Bedminster Township, New Jersey, where President Donald Trump was spending the holiday weekend, officials said. The airspace over Bedminster is always locked down whenever Trump is in the area.

According to a statement from NORAD, the pilot entered a temporary flight restriction (TFR) zone shortly before 2:40 p.m. ET. A fighter jet performed a standard “headbutt” maneuver—a tactic used to catch a pilot’s attention—and safely guided the aircraft out of the restricted airspace. This incident was the fourth TFR breach in the area that day, with a fifth violation occurring afterward, bringing the total number of airspace incursions to five.

Trump Dismisses Musk’s Political Ambitions as ‘Ridiculous’ in Sharp Rebuke

President Donald Trump slammed former first buddy Elon Musk for starting a third political party, saying such parties have “never worked” while also calling the move “ridiculous.”

Trump spoke with reporters before boarding Air Force 1 in Bedminster, New Jersey, when he was asked about Musk’s move to start a third party.

“I think it’s ridiculous to start a third party,” Trump said from the tarmac. “We have a tremendous success with the Republican Party. The Democrats have lost their way, but it’s always been a two-party system, and I think starting a third party just adds to confusion.

“It really seems to have been developed for two parties,” the president continued. “Third parties have never worked. So, he can have fun with it, but I think it’s ridiculous.”

Musk announced the launching of a new political party called the “America Party” on his social media platform X on Saturday. (Read more from “Trump Dismisses Musk’s Political Ambitions as ‘Ridiculous’ in Sharp Rebuke” HERE)

Trump Signs Major Disaster Declaration After Heavy Texas Flooding

President Donald Trump announced Sunday that he signed a Major Disaster Declaration for Kerr County, Texas, as the state reels from deadly flooding that has killed dozens and left more missing.

“These families are enduring an unimaginable tragedy, with many lives lost, and many still missing,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. He said his administration “continues to work closely with State and Local Leaders,” adding that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem joined Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott on the ground to coordinate relief efforts.

According to Trump, Coast Guard officials and Texas first responders have rescued over 850 people as of Sunday.

At least 67 people have died in the floods across Texas, including 59 in Kerr County, according to local officials. Particularly hard-hit was Camp Mystic, a Christian summer retreat for girls near the Guadalupe River, where 11 children and one counselor remain missing, Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said during a press briefing. Trump Signs Big, Beautiful Bill Into Law: ‘Most Popular Bill’; Initiates Reciprocal Tariffs, “Up to 70%”

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump signed the One, Big, Beautiful Bill into law on the Fourth of July at the White House, noting that it was the “most popular bill ever signed” in the history of the United States.

While speaking at the Military Family Picnic on Friday, Trump criticized Democrats for not voting for the Big, Beautiful Bill, noting that they didn’t vote for the bill either because of their “hatred” for the U.S. or for Trump.

Trump explained that the bill included the “largest tax cut,” “largest spending cut,” and the “largest border security investment” in the history of the U.S.

“The Democrats, they should have voted for it, they didn’t vote for tax cuts, they didn’t vote for taking care of people….they didn’t vote, not one vote and we knew that, because their hatred of either the country or me or both is so great, they didn’t vote at all,” Trump said.

Trump continued: “It’s the most popular bill ever signed in the history of our country, whether your military or anybody else, this is the most single most popular bill ever signed, and it includes the largest tax cut in American history, the largest spending cut, $1.7 trillion, and yet you won’t even notice it.”

House Passes Big Beautiful Bill Act, Sending It to Trump After Bruising Struggle

By New York Post. . . The GOP-led House of Representatives passed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act in a 218-214 vote Thursday following 29 hours of arm-twisting and deliberation that included the longest floor speech and longest procedural vote in the body’s 236-year history.

In the end, just two Republicans, Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, voted against the measure after Trump held 11th-hour White House meetings Wednesday with more than a dozen holdouts. . .

Every House Democrat opposed the bill, in addition to the two Republican defectors. Massie, whom Trump is hoping to oust in the 2026 midterms, had rejected the legislation nearly every step of the way due to his deep concerns with its impact on the deficit.

Fitzpatrick turned against the bill after concluding that the Senate’s adjustments to Medicaid “fell short” of his standards.

Fiscal hawks and moderates alike had initially bristled at the Senate’s modifications to the 870-page bill, which cleared the upper chamber Tuesday in a 51-50 vote that required Vice President JD Vance to break a 50-50 tie. Trump begins rolling out ‘reciprocal’ tariffs of up to 70% on nations without deals: ‘We’re giving them a bargain’

By Steven Nelson. President Trump said he’ll begin rolling out “reciprocal” tariffs Friday on countries that have yet to reach a tentative deal with his team — with the new US trade taxes hitting as high as “60 or 70%.

“We’re going to start sending letters out to various countries starting [Friday]. We’ll probably have 10 or 12 go out,” Trump told reporters after midnight as he returned from a speech at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

“I think by the 9th [of July] they’ll be fully covered, and they will range in value from maybe 60 or 70% tariffs to 10 and 20% tariffs.”

The upper rates indicate Trump may boost some nations’ figures even higher than described in his April 2 “Liberation Day” rollout, which established a new 10% baseline tariff — roughly triple prior rates — and high duties on countries with large trade imbalances with the US.

The highest previously announced “reciprocal” rates — pegged to a nation’s trade deficit with the US — were 49% for clothing- and shoes-manufacturing hub Cambodia, 48% for next-door Laos and 47% for the world’s top vanilla exporter, Madagascar. (Read more from this article HERE).
